Transcript
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Hey y'all, this is Desi.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: And this is Lisa.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Welcome to our podcast, Real Talk Real Healing, where we support women through their healing journey.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Through raw stories, authentic dialogue, and uncomfortable but very necessary conversations, we explore the full range of emotions, energetic, spirituality, and physical well-being that come with being human.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: We believe in a world filled with filters and service-level messages that healing begins with truth and a little bit of magic.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome to episode 28 with your co-host Desi.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Today we're going to be doing a solo podcast, and I just have to say, I am vibing so high today.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: I had my first collab EDM breathwork yoga with one of my dear friends.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: We just graduated from our certification and we did our first event, and it was everything so amazing.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: We had such a good time, such a good turnout, vibing so high.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I almost forgot how amazing it feels after running an event like that, after bringing this medicine to people in person and the connection and the love and the joy and everything.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: It just always feels so electric after.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: And then I went to Optimize, which is a place you can do cold black, cold, uh cold plunges, uh infrared, red light therapy, compression, and then there's this room that we went in that reset and grounded you, all the things after.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: So that was so fun.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: I'm actually going back there tomorrow to get the full gist of it.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be doing a cold plunge, we'll see how that goes.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: But you go from the sauna to the cold plunge, so I'm like, okay, then that makes it a lot easier.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: So I'm really excited to give that a try tomorrow.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: And so I've been wanting to talk about this topic for like a hot minute, like on my social medias, and I just haven't.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: And there's some fear around it, and I know there'll be some judgment around it, and that's okay.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: And we're here for all of it.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: So we can all have each other's or we can all have our own opinion without having to have each other have the same thoughts and beliefs that we do, right?
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: We can all coexist, and that's what makes us so beautiful in this world, is that we get to have different experiences than those of people around us, and they can have their beliefs, you can have yours, and none of it is wrong at the end of the day.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: We like to think that they're wrong because they're not the way that we think about it.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: But at the end of the day, if we are all sovereign beings, we're gonna have our own belief systems, we're gonna have things that we believe are true that maybe not be uh not be true to other people because of our own experiences.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And so, Tay, today we're gonna dive deep into a little bit of a conspiracy theory.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: I guess some of it would be uh categorized as that.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna be talking about like our negative biases that we have, our predictive programming that has happened, you know, as we've been growing up, and a little bit more about why it's so hard to break our patterns, why our protectors are holding on to us so tightly, and how the media really plays into this and how a lot of this has been played out by our government.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: And so we're gonna go a little deep, but not too deep today, because once I started this outline, I just like it was like one piece led to another piece, led to another piece.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: And it's like, okay, for the sake of this podcast and for the sake of time, like what is the overall arching intention that I wanted to bring to the surface?
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: And it's really this understanding that we are sovereign beings regardless of what is happening around us, and so we get to choose how we react, we get to choose how we feel, we get to choose what we do with the information that we have internally, regardless of what's happening externally, right?
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: And so one of the things that we do as humans is that we already have this negative bias, right?
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Our brains often give more attention and weight to the negative experiences than equally intense positive ones.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Because we are born as innate cave men and women, deep, deep into our ancestry, right?
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: We had to be in a pack together so we could stay alive.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: There was a lot of danger, there was a lot of threats, you know, to survive.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: You had to come together.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: And if you were, you know, ostracized from the tribe or the group, you know, you are left vulnerable.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: And so it is really important for us to be accepted by people, but it's also really important for us to be on guard all the time for predators and for things that are out there, right?
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: And so this is something that's been ingrained in all of us, but we had to look for that, you know, potential danger.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Even in today's climate, we're looking for threats, emotion, emotional, financial, you know, all the things that could happen to us, right?
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: We're constantly trying to scan for the danger so that we can protect ourselves, so that we don't get hurt.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: So if we can think about the 10 steps ahead of the thing, then we can anticipate everything.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: But what that is actually doing is it's actually stealing the joy in your life in the present moment.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: So you're literally stealing the presence of what you're experiencing, of what you're doing when you are thinking about all the things in the future and when you're trying to control and figure it all out.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: And it is part of our DNA, right?
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: So we are learn, we have this learned negative bias to always be looking for danger, right?
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Don't cross the street, be careful, right?
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Even as children, right?
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: We have to learn what's hot.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: You know, if we're gonna put our hand on the stove, we're gonna learn that it burns us.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: And so we do need this to survive in this world, right?
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: But sometimes it can go too far.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: And sometimes we can get caught up in the negativity so much easier because of how we've been programmed not only by our own biases and by our own experiences here in this 3D world and by our own DNA, but also by the media, by the government.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: So not only are we born into a world of survival, right?
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Like that's kind of where we're at.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: We're not in a utopia, we're not in new earth energy.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: We are in this, I have to make money in order to pay my bills, I have to do this to get Z, X, Y, right?
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Like I have to do these certain things, I have to keep my kids alive, I have to put the food on the table, right?
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And that can feel very, very survival, right?
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: And so our jobs is to bring awareness to it so that we can start shifting it and not feel those feelings all the time.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Because what happens when we're in survival?
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: We're thinking about all the things all the time, like I said, right?
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: And then we're taking ourselves out of the present moment.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: And then what are we doing is we're creating more of the emotions and the stress and the worry and the fear that we don't want.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: So that's why it's so important that we understand this concept and what we're talking or what I'm talking about here today.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Grab some water there.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: You know, this is real talk, real healing, so we don't do really any edits or anything like that.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: So what we say is what you hear.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: And uh, now that I don't have a partner, Miss Lisa, is on a conference with one of her mentors.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Uh, is it a conference?
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: It's kind of late.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's like a retreat conference that she's at.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: I actually got a phone call to her from her today.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: I saw my phone ring uh while I was at Optimize and I was talking to a girlfriend.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: I was like, you know what, let me answer this.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: And uh she was in her big feelings, and I'm so glad that I got to answer it and I got to support her and I got to be here, and she just had a really, really big breakthrough.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: So we will ask her about that next week on the podcast so we can hear all about it.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: But back to what I was saying.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: So we have that predictive programming.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: So, what is predictive programming from like the outside, the world, right?
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Which is the Disney movies or her programming us, that all of the mothers are bad, the stepmoms are bad, right?
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Like the mother dies.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: It's like never like a happy family, it's always like something is wrong with the family, right?
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: It sells us on this lie that uh our Prince Charm ring is gonna make us happy and is gonna make us complete, right?
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: So, like growing up as little girls, we're like, oh, once once we've meet our person, like everything's gonna be amazing.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: And I really kind of did truly believe that.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: And uh was I in for a rude awakening, right?
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: And so there's things on our movies that we're watching, right?
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: Like all of that is feeding into our subconscious, it's feeding into our mind, especially from a very young age, from like zero to seven.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: Our subconscious is in like a theta wave, which is just taking on information for the first seven years of our life, and it is storing everything that we're seeing.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Our subconscious takes in 11,000 bits of information a second.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Let me say that again.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: 11,000 bits of information a second.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Okay, and so we're taking on everything, we're taking on the cues from our parents and their emotional expressions on their face, and so many things we're taking on.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So, whatever we're listening to in the first seven years is following us into our adulthood, right?
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: And so, you know, we watch uh, you know, movies about the world the world ending and and like now that we've been through COVID, right?
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: We watch all these, me and my husband watching a show called The Last Ship, which is like a virus and it's a deadly thing, right?
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: Like there's multiple movies out there about something like that that we went through as a mass that are out there, right?
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: And so all of that is like feeding our our minds.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: So then if we are always manifesting, so if we understand our manifestations, and if you don't, I'll just break it down real quickly here.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So our thoughts create things.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: So our thoughts that we think and the emotions that we feel create the reality that we are experiencing.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: And so as a collective and as a big part of the, you know, many, many millions of people seeing a movie, we are spending energy watching the thing.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: We're probably feeling the thing, right?
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: When somebody dies or something really horrible happens, and you're like, oh my gosh, right?
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: Like you feel it, right?
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: That is manifesting our future.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: So some would believe that when we are watching movies, we are being programmed for things to happen in the future.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: And there's a lot more I can go in with that, but for the sake of this episode, we're just gonna keep it here.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Um so the entertainment introduces an idea to influence what society uh eventually accepts.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: So repeated media exposure can influence perception, although although coordinated predictive programming, you know, isn't scientifically established, right?
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: Because they're not coming out and saying this.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: They're not gonna be like, yeah, we are doing this.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: But if you go look up Operation Mockingbird, which is a CIA program that has a relationship with journalists and media, and it was documented that they were giving information to these sources, to these outlets.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: So if we know that the government wants us to think or believe certain things, so if the government wants to keep control of the people and the masses, right?
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: We have to they feed on the fear that we already are innately experiencing, right?
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: So they will feed on the fear of us getting in a pandemic or the end of the world is coming, or the last day.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: There's so many movies out there about the end of the world, right?
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Like they feed on us, they feed us information, okay?
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Let me rephrase that.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: They feed information to us to keep us scared, to keep us worried, to keep us feeling like we need protection, to keep us feeling like we need them.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, and it goes so much deeper than that, but that's just one way that predictive programming is happening is the movies that we're watching, is the music that we're listening to, frequencies and vibration.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: You don't think that they're programming our music with it?
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: What you listen to is programming your reality, it's programming your mind, it's programming what you think, it's programming how you feel.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: And so it's really important that we are being so aware of what we're feeding our mind with, what kind of movies we're watching.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't really watch scary things anymore.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: Um, I just it doesn't feel good to me.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: I don't like being scared, and I've gotten older, it's not as fun anymore.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: Like when you're a teenager, of course, all that stuff's like super fun, but like I don't really like a lot of gore anymore.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: I don't like like looking at that because like you're taking that in, right?
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: Like that's becoming part of your experience in this life.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: And so the more that we watch those things, the more that we are feeding those negative biases, the the fear, you know, the worry, the doubt, all that kind of stuff.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: So, like what you watch and what you spend your time doing is so important.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: And so one of the other things that comes up for us in this is a fight, flight, or freeze, right?
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: So when we perceive a threat, our nervous system can be activated and then it alerts us, right?
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: It goes into that protect protective response.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: So even if there's danger in a social or emotional setting, right?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: Like it's it's social or emotional, but we feel it physically in our body, right?
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Like we get scared or we stop or we feel like we can't say the thing or we leave or we yell, right?
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: And so all those things are what is programmed in us innately, and so the government will use those emotions to control us, to scare us.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: And our brains are built to help us survive, but that doesn't mean every fear we experience is actually telling the truth, right?
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: So sometimes we can expect something bad because something similar happened before.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: And so I know, like for me, sometimes when I get a call from my mom, and I'm not usually supposed to get a call from her, there's been several um incidents late in the last year or two where like she's gotten into a bad accident.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: And sometimes I feel myself being like, oh, like like nervous to answer the phone.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Like, I hope this isn't anything bad.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: Um this happened multiple times, and so we start programming ourselves for that, right?
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Or like, and we don't even mean it, it's in our subconscious, and so we really just got to be careful with like what we're putting into our brains, what we're being programmed with, and you know, with that, like we have been sold this lie that we can control our circumstances outside of us, right?
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Like voting, right?
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: Like if we vote, you know, I don't really get into politics, that whole is another conversation, but like we believe that when we vote, that we are like, you know, being able to like make a difference, right?
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Which, yes, of course, that is going to move the needle.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: But at the end of the day, the only thing we can really control is the feelings, and sometimes we can't control our feelings, but what we can control is how we react to our feelings.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: What is our internal state?
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: Are we stressed all the time?
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Are we worried?
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: Is everything happening to us, or is everything happening for us?
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: Are we in the victim?
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Of course, nothing is going right.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Of course, that would happen for them, and it wouldn't happen for me, right?
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: That is very much victim mentality, which I am way too familiar with.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: I had to really break that because that is only going to perpetuate more of what we don't want.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: So, yes, we can go out and we can vote and we can make a difference, and that's all great, and we want to be able to use our voice and express our feelings and in a healthy way.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: But the minute that we think that something out is outside of us is going to make us be different, feel different, show up different, then we're giving our power away.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: So we want to be really, really careful with that.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: And so, why is breaking free so hard, right?
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Why is it breaking free from the protectors that we've had since we were a little kid, right?
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: The one that says, you know, don't be too loud, the one that says, don't ask for help because you're gonna feel like a burden, right?
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: The one that says just say yes to everything because if we say no, then somebody might not like us, right?
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: It's hard to break away from those because they're deeply embedded within us, right?
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: And there's a lot of guilt and shame and choosing different, right?
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Like our families are like, wait a minute, like, why don't you want to drink anymore?
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Why don't you want to do that anymore?
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: And so it's like easier just to stay where you're at.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: You know, there's fear of judgment and you know, being rejected and labeled difficult, right?
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: And we get stuck into these old patterns, and so it's just easier to stay there sometimes, but then we're stuck in that suffering.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but on this part of the podcast, in this part of the world, you know, we're talking about changing, we're talking about real healing.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: What does that actually look like?
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: You know, awakening doesn't have to mean becoming angry or fearful or suspicious of everything, it just means that we start to have awareness so we can start to make changes, right?
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: And so sometimes belonging can feel safer than being authentic to yourself.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: So being belonging to the Fed friend group, belonging at work, belonging with a partner can feel safer because again, it goes back to that caveman.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: We want to be accepted than authenticity, then what you actually truly want.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: And so we want to be able to follow our heart and soul.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: And so, how can we start reclaiming some of our power?
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: How can we start taking our power back?
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Because sometimes it can get so heavy to where we're feeling like like it doesn't matter, anyways.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: Gas prices still get higher, the groceries are still expensive.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Like, how am I gonna do all this, right?
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, I feel you 100%.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: We're all experiencing it, right?
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: But once we realize like the government keeps us separate, separated, separated, separated and segregated, you versus me, them versus each other, right?
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: Black versus white, like all that is keeping us against each other because we're easier to control.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: So as a masses, mass masses, the more we come together, the more that we have the power, right?
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: But if we break up all these people over these really polarizing subjects that are near and dear to our heart, then we can put them against each other and then they fight each other, and then they're not fighting us, they're not fighting there for their freedom.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: They'll just accept the gas prices, they'll just accept the food going up, right?
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: They'll just do it because they're not focused on the actual core issues, which is like, you know, the children.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: You know, the children don't have a voice.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: And instead of coming together as a society, we are fighting each other, right?
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: And so that is really how it we stay stuck in this perpetual going and going over and over again.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: But our job, right, is what light are we spreading?
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: How are we showing up in the world?
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: Are we smiling when we walk by somebody?
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Are we holding the door open, right?
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: That's like such a little gesture, but that has ripple effect.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Are our hearts closed?
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Are our hearts closed off?
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Are we feeling sorry for ourselves, right?
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Those are all ways that we are not shining the light.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: But when we do shine the light and we we do come into our own knowing of who we are, then that's when we start to find our sovereignty.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: That's when we can start coming together as a society.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: You can believe you, I can do me, and we don't have to make each other different, right?
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: I don't need to change you, you don't need to change me.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Because that's like saying what you believe is wrong, and your experiences of why you believe that is wrong, right?
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: And so when we think that other people have to think and believe like us, then we're actually just it's like a mirror because we're saying we're also wrong.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Because who says who is wrong?
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: And so, really looking into like how can we become more accepted of the people around us because we've all been dealt to dealt some really hard hands, like our soul choosing to come here in this lifetime at this time with all this craziness going on, like we are all just doing our best, most of us, anyways, right?
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: We're trying to do our best, and so some of the things that we can do personally is starting to be more intentional about the food you eat and how you care for your body, right?
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: Like we can be mad at all the things outside of us, but if we're not taking care of our mental, physical, emotional health, then then it goes, it starts inside first, right?
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Like, how are we caring for our body?
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: What is the food that we're putting in our in our body?
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: That's all so important, you know, and starting to choose household and personal care products that are healthier for you, right?
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Like I just got a bamboo toothbrush plugged to primals.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: I just did a UGC video for them, but it's all bamboo, it's a bristle.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: No, it's not bristle, it's it's bore bristle.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: Um, and then the EMFs that come off the electric toothbrush, this is the part of it is like super low.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Like, yes, that's amazing, right?
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: Like, I can I can control that.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: I I can do that, right?
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: Um, it's you I you know what I use?
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: I use cornstarch and cacao for my dry shampoo.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: I don't spray that stuff on my hair anymore because it's toxic, right?
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: I got glass containers instead of plastic containers, right?
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: So, like, what kind of care in your house?
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: What kind of personal care can you start owning?
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: And slowly, like it doesn't have to be fast, right?
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: Listen, not like everything at once.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay, let's do um the Tupperware, right?
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: We can do the Tupperware this week or this month or whatever, right?
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: Like, okay, cool.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: I have cornstarch, I got cornstarch for a um recipe.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Cool, I can take what I have here and I can make this, right?
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: So it's like a slow upheavaling of the old ways, you know?
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: And so also, like, are you advocating for yourself when you're going to the doctor?
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Because we know Western medicine is not the best.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Are we taking a holistic approach?
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: Are we going outside the box, right?
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: This is all how we take our sovereignty back.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: This is all how we take our power back.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: Are you becoming more conscious of what you consume through media and social platforms and videos and YouTube and movies and shows, right?
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: What are what are you feeding your brain with?
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: All that matters so much.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: It matters on your nervous system, it matters on how much you can handle in a day when we're positive, when we're doing the right thing, and you know, we're waking up instead of scrolling, we're taking some deep breaths, right?
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Like we're not going into our phone and letting our phone dictate how we feel all day by scroll, scrolling on social media.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: That's like an absolute no no for me.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Um, it's really, really important, and I know it's really, really hard to break.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: And I'm guilty sometimes I still find myself doing that, but damn, are my days different when I don't consume my phone, right?
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: When I wake up and I do some deep breaths and I do my meditation and I pull a card or whatever it looks like for you, right?
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Are you learning to pause and sit?
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Making decisions from fear.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: I know we've talked a lot about that on this podcast, like tapping into your intuition, what is true for you.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Because AI is getting so big right now, you guys.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: It is so important to start using your discernment.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: It is so important for you to understand your intuition because more and more we're gonna have to filter out what is real and what is not, right?
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Are you going out and being in community with people with real environments that make you feel good, right?
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: This is all taking your power back.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: I love it so much.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, remembering that uh meaning meaningful change doesn't require replacing everything in your home or spending money you don't have, okay?
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: So again, this is a process.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: We've had years and years and years and years of conditioning, okay, um, from their school systems too.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: You think like our schools, you know, um our schools tell us about historical events, how they saw them, what they were represented, right?
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: But like, do we know if that's really true?
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, we don't know.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: We don't know.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: We don't know.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: We weren't there.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: We weren't there when the texts were written, we weren't there when it was documented, right?
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Like our schools are conditioning us to have to like sit down and be like a little worker bees and be good and go to work and come in and clock out, and they've sold us on this American dream, they sold us on this societal norms that are no longer even reachable.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: The American dream is gone.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: And that's why I'm an entrepreneur.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, I have the American dream, I have the house, I have the husband, I have it all.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: And also, I'm not sitting at a desk for nine to five anymore.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: That's just not where I want to live my life, right?
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: And so we gotta start questioning everything, coming into critical thinking.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Anything I said, I challenge you and I invite you to go Google it and go deeper on what is it that you truly believe.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: These are just some of my beliefs.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: I could go a lot further, but I do want to share a story I forgot to share earlier.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Um, so here's one example of how we are programmed.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: And I laugh because I'm so guilty of this, but it's like innately in me.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: So the other day uh my husband was out of town and I was like vibing out to myself.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: I was having so much fun.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: And I walk outside, and all so in my backyard, I have it's like an empty lot.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: So there's like a dirt lot with a bunch of trees, a bunch of big trees.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: There's like birds always flying in and out of there.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: Like, I love it.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: I'm bird watch way too often 940, so we all know where that's at.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: Um, and I walk outside, and all of a sudden, from every tree, from every angle that I can see, the birds start going crazy, flying up, left, right, back, forth.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, oh my God.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Like the first thought I had was like, something's wrong, something's happening, right?
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, because the animals they tell us something's wrong right away.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: The animals, oh my gosh, what is it?
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: And I'm like listening, and I'm like, is there a fire?
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: I don't smell anything, I don't see any smoke, and I'm like trying to go through all these things, like, what can be making the birds be doing that?
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, it has to be something bad, right?
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: I it happened so long that I even got video of it.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Like it was insane.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: I don't know why it happened, but instead of saying, Oh my god, thank you for this beautiful, miraculous experience of all these birds, right?
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Like, wow, God, thank you.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: This is beautiful.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: I didn't even expect this today, right?
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Like, trusting that the universe is putting on a little show for me.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Or wow, like what what did the earth get to shake up here?
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: What did we just move out of this little portal energy, right?
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: Like, why not go to the positive, right?
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: It's like instantly something is wrong.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: It's doom day.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: I have to like hurry up.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: And I do this with the weather.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: I don't, I don't know.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: This, I think it's a past life thing, which I'm gonna work through.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: Um, because like lately the weather's really scary to me, right?
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Like, I just like scared of everything all of a sudden as I've gotten older.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: But like instead of seeing those birds as a miraculous, beautiful witnessing that I got to have, I was scared immediately.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: I was nervous.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: I was like, what's what's wrong?
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: And nothing was wrong, guys.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: Nothing's on fire.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: There was no earthquakes, there was no fireworks, there was nothing, but I got to see the most beautiful sight.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: And so, where in your life are you looking for the bad?
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: Or like, where are you just innately going to the bad worst case scenario?
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: Now that we're talking about it, it'll come to the surface, but like literally start thinking about that and start being so curious.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Like, where am I instantly having a negative bias?
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: Because the amygdala, which is one of in our brain region that involves detecting like emotionally significant information, so it includes potential threats, it works with the other parts of the brain, but it its initial response is danger, right?
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: And so it's okay that we are programmed like this, it's okay that our bodies are doing this for us, but it's like, but we get to choose because we're sovereign beings and because we have the information, we are the in the day of information, which is so cool, and we get to choose, and you have the power, and nothing outside of you has the power.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Literally, you have the power, and if something is bothering you outside of you, the answer is to look within, okay?
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: Because that's something that's unhealed in you and it's triggering you, and I know that could be triggering to hear, but the truth is once we start healing a lot of the things that are triggering us, then things are a lot easier.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, so start thinking about what is one belief, habit, or choice in your life that you've never really questioned, probably thought of something, and what would you choose if you gave yourself permission to decide differently?
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: You know, so maybe awakening isn't about discovering everything that's wrong with the world because that can happen.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: I've personally kind of went through that actually, now that I think about it, which like you start unveiling, unveiling all the things that is happening in our world, and the veil is lifted and it is just like a slap in the face.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: But maybe it's about remembering how much power you still have over the way you choose how to live it.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: So at the end of the day, this is really your world, and we're all just living in it.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: So I hope you enjoyed today's episode.
