- 1:04SPEAKER_01: All right, welcome back to Loop Way Podcast.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: This is a very interesting um, I don't know, setup at 7 a.m.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: It's 7 a.m.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Caesar, thank you for coming at 7 a.m.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: I never do anything at 7 a.m., but I've got a very special guest, and you guys got the intro.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: I have my spiritual coach, life coach.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't even know how to say it, Christine Hassler, but I am so honored that you're here.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: I want to just read the accolades so you can hear it for yourself because I think sometimes we forget all the things we've achieved.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Christine, um, no, it's the first, well, we met last night in person for the first time.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: We've been working together for a year and a half.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: And two years.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Or two years.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Okay, see, she's gonna remind me of Steph.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: Two years, and we'll tell you the story of how we met.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: But it was so fun.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: She walked through my front door yesterday, and we never met, but you feel like you have somebody that you've known forever, yeah, who knows you very well, is a dear friend, and we got to catch up on so much last night.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: So it was a nice warm-up, I think, for today.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, I woke up today thinking about how you and Steph met.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: That is so interesting, but I love the story.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: But I just want to brag about you.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Okay, outside of this wonderful intro you already got, Christine is an correct me if I'm missing anything because sometimes the internet is, you know, master life coach and spiritual psychologist for over 20 years.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, since 2004.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, you guys, she's an OG.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: We talked about this last night.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: It's changed a lot.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Like everyone just whips up, you know.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: I'm a health coach.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: I'm in this, but you are the real deal.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: You have a master's in spiritual psychology, which is consciousness, health, and healing.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: You graduated from cum laude from the Northwestern University.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: You grew up in Dallas.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: We have that.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: You live an hour away from me in Carlsbad, down in San Diego.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: How we've not met until now.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: I'll do this.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Um, co-founder of a coaching certification program that, um, and we'll tell how I met with that.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Author of Expectation Hangover Free Yourself from Your Past, Change Your Present, and Get What You Really Want.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: I think what's interesting about this, we talked about last night.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: You were like in your 20s when you wrote this book.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: No, that was my my latest book, which was 12 years ago.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Um, so I sure I was in my 20s.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: I wasn't in my 20s when I wrote that.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: My first two books were about the quarter life crisis.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: You guys, okay.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: So then she's two more to have three books total.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Okay, so name them the first one 20 Something, 20 Everything, 20 Something Manifesto, and then Expectation Hangover.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, okay.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna this is crazy.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Hosts of a podcast, Over It and On With It.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: And then featured today in CNN, ABC, CBS, Fox, E, PBS, and Joe Rogan, which I want to get in on this Joe Rogan thing.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: And she runs group work.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: We'll get into a little bit of a program she's about to do that I'm excited, really excited to hear more about, especially for you women out there.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: I think it sounds really cool.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: One-on-one coaching, which I was honored to do, and just speaking around the world so much more.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: So, at no further ado, I'm just so honored you're here.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: I'm so happy to be here.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: And it's so fun to be in your beautiful home and see the family and the life and the home you create.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I know you off camera, and I love it when, you know, someone's coherent between who they present themselves to be and who they are in in life.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: And you're so integrated and so coherent and so authentic, and you're just a joy to be with.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I always look forward to our calls.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, it is crazy.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Like, why don't we just I'll maybe I'll start to tell the story a little bit of how we met.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Um, and then I would love for you to share with the audience about your work and kind of a little bit of where you took me.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: I think sometimes when especially the same with the peptides, when there's a practical piece to it, yeah, it's I think it's easier than just saying this is what I do.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: So I'm you can share anything about me.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: I'm nothing's off limits.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: I want to kind of because you've played a really big role in a really big emotional of how I became the woman that I am today.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: And it was not by accident, it was a lot of work, but it was when I really look back on it, it really helped me pivot.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: And I think when you're looking to have a change, we talk about this here of like what's on the other side of fear.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Oftentimes it's you can't do it alone.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: And I needed help.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: And I didn't want a therapist, I really wanted a coach.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: So back up, I was gonna take your coaching program.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: And without getting to the deal in details of it, a f a few past version of myself, I had this imposter syndrome where I felt like I needed every credential before I launched.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: And Christine would probably say that I had a failure to launch because like I wanted everything perfect.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: And I was kind of at a pivotal place, like, okay, I think I need to work again.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: I want to get back in, you know, I'm a health coach, whatever that means.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: I'm an entrepreneur.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: I think I want to help women move from, you know, one chapter in their life to the other.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: Remember, this chapters was the name of this program that I had designed.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: So I was gonna go back and get Christine's certification for a year.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: And all of a sudden, when the timing of it, I hadn't heard anything, and I was like, what's going on?
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: And they had kind of repurposed and they were shutting the program down, and I got lost in the shuffle, which happens all the time.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: So I get this beautiful email from you apologizing, which I mean you didn't need to do, and said, I'm gonna offer you as an apology an hour session with me.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: Guys, I didn't really know what that meant.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm not trying, you're such a big deal, and I like to bring you up, but I I didn't know really, I didn't really know who what a big how talented and lucky I was to have this hour call.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: I think most of you would probably be jumping up and down and screaming, but I was like, oh, this just sounds great.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: She goes, I pull into the parking lot of my daughter's high school for my hour call.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: And I think because I remember every piece of that conversation, where I was, where that car was parked, it was very life-changing.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: In one hour, you did more work with me than I probably had done in like five hours of therapy.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: And I said, How do I work with you?
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: And I was really, really lucky because at the time you weren't taking a lot of one-on-ones, and you might maybe still don't.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: I take more now.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: My daughter was just really young still then.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: So I was just, you know, slots opening up and I think it was like six weeks.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: So we started our journey together.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: And it was an investment for me.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: I think I really was like, okay, if I'm gonna pay this, I'm gonna put the work in.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: And then maybe I'll hand it up to you who that girl was in the car.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Well, and just something you said, and I love these moments because this is my favorite thing as a coach is to see the progression, to see the transformation.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: And it's really not even a transformation, it's more of a reclamation because I truly believe that everyone has all the resources inside.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: They have the knowing inside, they have their truth inside.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: And we just have to comb through and deconstruct a bunch of patterns and programs and protective strategies so that can shine through and so that we can be in alignment with that.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: So I would never say you had a failure to launch.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: I would say it was more your, um, and since you gave me permission, your protective strategies and the ways that you learn to be safe in the safe in the world were preventing you from actually being in alignment with what you want and knowing what the path was forward.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Because there's always a path.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: It's just like which which path are we on?
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: So my job is to help deconstruct a lot of that so you can really see clearly because analysis paralysis is what I was in.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Well, you were you were trying and we all do this, you were trying to figure it out from here.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: And I knew that, well, I knew like the traditional health coaching route wasn't it because I just heard you try to talk yourself into it over and over and over again.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: And I knew like this woman doesn't have problems doing things.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, if she really wanted this, it would be, it would be happening.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: And so much of what we talked about was you being in the discomfort of uncertainty.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: And that was one of your edges, and so many of our edges.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: It's an edge for me.
- 8:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: You know, that being in the uncertainty and and kind of waiting.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: And in the uncertainty, doing the inner work so that the outer world becomes a little more clear.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: What I think you really allowed me to sit in it.
- 9:13unknown: Yeah.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: And that was uncomfortable.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, you did not want to.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: I want to plow through.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, because half of our when we do our call, sometimes she goes, you can't be walking.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: Like, sit.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: You need to be sitting on a bench, you need to be in your bed, you need to be somewhere else, or you cannot be walking.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: Like, you need to slow down.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: Because that oftentimes is just like how I have movement to kind of get me through, you know, instead of sitting and and we've worked a lot with my central nervous system recently, and I'm gonna keep working with you because I'm struggling with it a lot right now.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, most women are.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: You know, the one of the things in our journey together was when I went to Jessica Zwag's retreat.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: And I remember telling you about it and saying, like, I want to go to this retreat because I want an answer.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: Do I do this program or not?
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna butcher it, but I remember you saying, remember Stephanie, when you want the most clarity, it's when you're the least clear.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: What did you say to me?
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: It was something along those lines.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: The more you are attached to the clarity, the less likely you are to get it.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: You reminded me of that because I just went in like, I want to, you know, figure this out.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: And I've discussed here, I'll figure out what episode it was when I told you my whole woo-woo story.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: But I had a crazy breath work, very intense breath work experience that released so much.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, I still think back on that day and I'm like, oh my gosh, like the different I don't know, frequencies that I went to.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: And then when I came out of it, and you were one of the first people that I reached out to, kind of like what just happened.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: And you were in such a you you explained it to me in such a beautiful way of kind of where I was, how I need to integrate, because I had no support there, really integrating.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: And then really loop got birthed from there, and then you were on a rocket ship with me.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, kind of being like, oh my God.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: So why don't we explain that a little bit from your perspective?
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: Um, so to sum it up briefly, I would say in that experience, in the breath work experience, you got out of your head, you got out of the thinking mind.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: And that's why breath work's so powerful.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: My husband's an incredible breath work facilitator, and we do breath work at a lot of our events.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: And it's one of my favorite things to do because it's like doing ayahuasca without having to do ayahuasca.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I think I've had that experience.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and for people who love control, breath work is great because you can always bring yourself out of it, you know?
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Um, and there comes a point where the body takes over.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: And when we get out of the head and we get into the somatic body, and and certain types of breath work allow things to be released from the subconscious because the body and the subconscious, you know, go together.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: So things we hold in our subconscious, we hold in the body.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: And so with the breath, and you might have had this, you might have had shaking, your body might have been doing crying, sweating profusely, shaking.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: I mean, you would have thought like it was.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, I like I and the thing is I didn't even know that was possible.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: So it's not like I was like, oh, I'm going something.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: I was like, I I mean, yeah, still at this day, go, I wish I had a video of me because I can't even imagine dripping in sweat.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Which is which is fantastic.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And honestly, you know, at my women's retreat, what I expect from the breath work session.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, I want to go just for that.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: And when when I teach breath work at my women's retreat, we usually have 100 women, and I have about 15 staff.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Because there's there's a lot that happens physically that we have to support.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: And we we expect that.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because we want that.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: We we we know, especially people and women, high-functioning women especially, hold.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: We hold our own stuff, we hold our family stuff, we hold the world stuff, we hold our friends stuff, we just hold so much stuff.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: And when the subconscious and the body gets a little taste of, oh, she's letting go for a second.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: She's letting go of control.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: If if the system feels safe enough, which in that moment you did, it will, it will seize the opportunity to let go of a lot of stuff.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: And we have to like, just like if we think if we let go of toxins, we've got to sweat, we've got to excrete them.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Same with emotions.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: So many people are emotionally constipated.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: We just hold held so much stuff.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: And so you had this huge release, and in that release, you could see there was there was room there, and you were separate enough from your survival patterns.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: And so, our survival patterns, I've said us, let me explain it a little bit.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: So when we're young, we our our primary drivers are to be safe, to belong, to be loved, and to feel like we have some kind of significance.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: So we can think about, you know, validation.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: And we will do whatever it takes to get that.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: So, like the going along to get along is a great example.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: You helped me along with that one of that one, of like, it's sort of kind of that fawning.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: Who do I need to be?
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: What do I need to do to not ruffle any feathers, make sure people like me, all these things.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: And and in so many ways, this comes, I'll use air quotes naturally to women.
- 14:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: Um, because one of our superpowers of the feminine is to be adaptive, but that superpower can be something that limits us because we can over-adapt so much that we lose ourselves.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: So when we're so busy in these survival patterns, whether it's people pleasing, you know, going along to get along, achieving, my mind is overfunctioning.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: Like I just all of those.
- 14:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: So many of us are.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: I have the people pleasing too.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: When that is taking up so much energetic real estate, because they're survival patterns, our nervous system is on alert.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: So on a nervous system level, we we can't we consistently feel like there's a threat.
- 15:07unknown: Yeah.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Because we develop those survival patterns because something happened where we got an alert.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: I'm not safe, I'm not loved, I don't belong, I don't matter.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: What do I need to do?
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: What do I need to do?
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: And we come up with something like mom and dad were fighting, and we went in and we're the good girl and like made life easy, and maybe they fought less.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: So, oh, that worked.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: This makes me feel safer.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna continue to do this.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And so it takes up all this energetic real estate, disconnects us from the truth of who we are, so much so that we believe we are the go-along to get along.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: We believe we are, we we think that's who we are.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: And so if I've got all this energetic real estate invested in who I think I need to be and who I think I am, how do I ever know like what it is I really, really want?
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're stuck.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: You're you're you're just you're blinded, right?
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: You're just you're you can only kind of see what it is I need to do to survive.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: And when we're in that survival mode, like true thriving, like really living in our potential.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: How how is there space for that?
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: And so in that breath work moment, which was so beautiful, you had the deconstruction of that.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And because it was so unfamiliar, it was scary.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, when I came out of it.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: And I'm also a composed person.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: I'm usually the person in breath work class, and I'm like, how many minutes do we have?
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, oh, that person's making a weird noise.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Like, I didn't give a shit.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: I I mean, I was in a different planet.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you did not have control.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: I did not have control.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: It wasn't beautiful, it makes me want to do it again.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, maybe Stephanie, you have to help me get there.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're gonna start doing it in San Diego.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I actually was thinking, I'm like, I want to do something.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: I don't necessarily want to do a mushroom journey, or like I think if I can do it again with bre breath work, I would love to see if I could.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: I don't know if I can again.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: I don't know really how I got there, but it was such a pivotal moment.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: And to have you for support to like, thank gosh, unwind and where I, you know, where I was.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: And I think for all you guys listening, kind of like anything that I talk about doing the inner work also is about consistency.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: And I had started with Hoffman and I had done some therapy.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: So when I when I when I came to you, I'd already done a decent amount of work to get out of my marriage, right?
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: To leave Hawaii.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Like I had something, but I was still, and I still am have a lot of work to do because as you peel the onion back, and you're so good at this.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: And I want to talk with the spiritual side of your practice because that was the biggest gift I didn't even know you had.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: And I'm very woo-woo, and it it allowed me, I think, to tap into a piece of me that felt comfortable in in that realm.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: But like that, you're always doing the internal work, it doesn't stop.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: And that's what I love about our relationship.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: So we voice note a lot.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: It's kind of part of our your how you coach, and and maybe it's just me.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you do that.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: Everyone else, but I love it because it allows me to kind of throw up in a voice note.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: And then by the time we do talk, it's like it's not where we spend the hour rehashing what's happened in the last month or so.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: It's kind of like here I am again, and a reminder of the pattern that I'm in.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: And it's so easy, even though you do the work, to slide back into this comfort pattern.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: I think in what for one of one of mine really is, you know, I know you can remind me too.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: It's a lot of it is feeling a sense of safety, you know, a sense of like, I wasn't safe as a child, or I didn't, there was aspects I was very safe as a child.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: So I gotta be very careful what I say.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: But there's, you know, obviously there was things every childhood has something where you're feeling like, I'm not good enough.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: I need to actually, you know, my whole family is wonderful, but we all have it as parents.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: We talked about this last night.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Like there's no manual to being a parent.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: So at the end of the day, we do have a lot of things to unravel from the matrix and whatever we believe in.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: So I feel like I vacillate going back and forth and working with you is a good reminder of like, okay, Seth, this is a pattern you're in.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: And you're it's because you're, you know, you're going through a lot.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: And you know, back to your breath work session for a second.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: Um, what you experienced was not having control and truly what surrender and have some having something bigger than you, which I call God, different people relate to it in different ways, um hold you, like and take over.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: And for people that have been, you know, holding the steering wheel of life, that can feel utterly terrifying.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: It's like you want that.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: Anyone who works a lot, does a lot, is the doer, you know, hyper-vigilant, all that.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: We so want to surrender and let go of control and be held.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: But when it actually physically happens, it can feel really terrifying because it's disorienting.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: It's like, wait, like what do I?
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: And I didn't even know it was possible.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: So it's like, if I knew that was possible, maybe, but I was like, what just happened?
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: And what was so beautiful is you got support so you didn't contract too far back, right?
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Because what can happen is we have these incredible moments where we experience something bigger than ourselves, yeah, or have this huge awakening, or something happens, but it can feel like, oh, this feels scary.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Let me kind of go back to where I am.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: And you can you continue to grow.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: And like you said, there's no there.
- 20:42SPEAKER_03: No.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: Like there's no there.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: I remember when my husband and I met, we thought we were so evolved because we'd done so much work on ourselves and thought we were gonna have this, you know, like conscious relationship.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: And we do, but then we're like, no, we're just two people with our stuff, and we're gonna trigger each other.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: And, you know, sometimes we've had arguments.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: I'm like, gosh, if there was a camera in here right now and people saw this, they would think these people have never done an ounce of work ever.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: Like, we all we're human, and that's one of the things as a coach that is one of my pet peeves about the personal growth industry and where I think it's actually harmed people is this be positive all the time.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: You're constantly manifesting your life.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, you can change something forever.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: You just have to like work hard at it and you shouldn't be triggered.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: And just this expectation that we're supposed to reach this point of, I don't know, enlightenment.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: And that I have met humans on the planet who have reached that point.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: They don't have Instagram followings.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: They are just they because they don't care.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: When you reach that point, you don't care.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: But we are so human.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And my biggest thing as a human, as a coach, as a mother, as a friend, my favorite.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Thing to teach people is, and I've taught this to you, is the of course of course method.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, which I didn't call it a method because for the doers of the world, right?
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: We want strategies, we want formulas.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: I used to just call it compassion.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: I'm like, nope, I gotta call it a method.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: And trademark it.
- 22:17unknown: Yeah.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: So it's like when you get triggered, of course.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: Like I told you last night, for some reason, I am very worried about my husband's driving my daughter up here.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: And I'm worried because I think if I'm in the car, then nothing will happen.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: Like if I'm there, you know, and that's my control.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: And I just say to myself, of course I'm scared.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Of course I'm feeling this way.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: I love her so much, so much.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: I'm experiencing so much loss in my life.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: And she is like, in so many ways, the most important thing to me.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: So of course that works far better than, oh, just let it go.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Oh, just don't think about it.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: That's what I did last night.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: Really, just don't think about it.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: Clearly, I need to rework that one.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: It's like telling someone with a panic attack, oh, just calm down.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Like you think, I don't know.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: But that's what I want to do.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you remember this.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: You said this to me recently, which was interesting, with my my whole Instagram saga.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: Because I try, since I'm so in my intellect, you need to try to rationalize it.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: And you know, I haven't learned the lessons I need to learn.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: That's why it's still down.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: And I remember saying to you, I'm I'm in, you know, I'm in the I feel sorry for me victim stage, but I want to get out of it.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: And you're saying, you said to me, I'm like, it's okay to sit in it.
- 23:29unknown: Yeah.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: And I had such a hard time because I don't like victims and I don't like the victim mentality.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: So it's like for me, I'm always one to say, like, you know, first world problems, champagne problems, like, move on, Stephanie.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: But it's like, well, no, like this being censored and having something continually happen when it's your team tells you that it was working on it's the worst case they've ever seen before.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: You're going, why me?
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: You know, why me?
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: And more for my business than it is my personal stuff, but you really allowed me to sit in the why me.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: And like, what does this bring up in me?
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Because we all have an inner child in us.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: And I remember last week I was watching my daughter and one of her friends, and we're walking on the beach, and there are a gazillion rocks on the beach.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: And her friend picks up this one that's not incredibly special.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: And again, a gazillion other rocks.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: And my daughter gets so upset because she wants that rock.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: And she is so upset that her friend is not giving it to her, and she did not find that particular rock or pick up a rock first.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And it was like the most devastating thing to her in the world.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: And I don't tell her, you can't be upset.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: This is not a big deal.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: What I'm trying to teach her is there's there's the problem, and then there's our level of upset.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: Like, is it appropriate for where we are?
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: Like I'm trying to help her kind of match it.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: And in that moment, like this was, you know, she really wanted it.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: And so we tried to get the upset down, but still made it okay that she felt that way.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: And we all have that like little one inside of us where it is a big deal.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: And in our world, like your grown-up rational brain can go, me not having an Instagram account is a champagne problem compared to what's happening to people on another side of the world, right?
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: But to the part inside who didn't get the rock, right, who did not get the rock.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: She is really sad and really upset.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: And that really, we don't even have to call it a victim.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: It's just like this hurts.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Like I'm upset about this.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: And I want to rationalize it.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, why me?
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: Why one?
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm not traffic, you know, whatever, children and drugs, and like I'm I'm on there trying to just like help people.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: So what you know, why me?
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: And then I think the spirituality piece, which I really want to get into because I think it makes you really different as a coach, and I kind of want to explain that piece.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: I really truly have surrendered.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: And it's a real to get there has been a really beautiful gift for myself.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Um, there's parts of me that love not being on it.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: And I'm now really detoxed from it because I don't even have it on my phone.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: It's not like I have a burner.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: I can't even get like a fake account.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: Like it shut down.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: Um and I and I do believe it will come up.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: And it was interesting the other day because I was on a call about kind of what the plan is and how long.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: And there's a part of me that had a little anxiety of careful, like you're enjoy this next month.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: Because when it does, it I post every day.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: It's a it is a different because of my business, it lends itself to something that like I have to feed.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: And so there's a part of me will probably show up very differently.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: And I might not feed it as much.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: You know, where will I be?
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: It'll probably be very different.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: So I'm trying to have some space around preparing for that.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: Because careful what you what you wish for.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Well, and you just teed up the better question rather than why, yeah.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: What am I learning?
- 27:01unknown: Yeah.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: Because that is the why.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: We're always learning something.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: You know, what am I learning?
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: What what is this taking me toward?
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: You know, what and sometimes we don't know.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: And and we have to be okay with that answer.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: And that's kind of exciting.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: I've gotten in life a little bit where I guess I get excited about.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: Because I'm in it right now.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: I'm in the thick of it.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: And I do know in the thick of it, there's so much growth.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm growing.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I love the woman that's showing up right now, like in my business, taking over my numbers, taking my business back.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: You know, the stuff that I've shied away from.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: And there's so much empowerment of being like, okay, I'm not scared.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: I am going to work through this.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: I have a plan.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: I've got the right people to support me.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: I'm in the numbers.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: I understand, I understand it.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: And I had a big call yesterday with our um advertising team.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: And I at the end, I was with one of them, and he said, Steph, you know how many female founders I work with who aren't have no idea about their finances, have no idea about the business.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: And the fact that you are sitting here two hours on this call trying to understand it, I have mad respect for you.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: And I just sat there and I was like, I'm doing it.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: And it feels so good.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: And it's not easy.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: What part of it feels the best?
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: I shied away from it for so long.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: And I got into the place where my partner, business partner, and life partner has his own, a lot of other stuff going on in his life.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: And I usually lean on somebody else to fix it.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: My father, Hant JP, somebody else to kind of come in and go, that's your job.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: You're the numbers guy, you're this, you're that.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: And I think because I was so protective of him, I was like, I am the one that has to do this.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: And it was the best blessing.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: And him and I talk about it that like I didn't want to bring him in because he couldn't take anymore.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: So I was like, this is mine.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: And it really, this is loop is my baby.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Loop really is mine too.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: And I'm I'm good at it.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: And so once I started to understand that it's not scary, what do I need to do?
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: I felt in control.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: I think there was a part of it that were empowered.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was a runaway train that we went, we were moving so fast.
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: And so the part that I am comfortable in is the coaching part, this, the Instagram, my my podcast, the like part of me that's like light and airy and fun, and I love the energy that it's exchanged.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: But there's a really part of me that's like I like I realized I like to be in control of the numbers piece of it.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: So I'm I'm growing and I'm learning.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: And that feels good.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: Well, and isn't it interesting that you know, for so many women, that's an area that we can often go, you know?
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: Um, and it could be finances, it could be some other area of our life.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: It comes back to there were always some fundamental needs that were not met in childhood, yeah.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: That we had to overcompensate for.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: And so we all kind of have a part of us that's like, I don't wanna.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: Like it's too hard.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: And back as a kid, as a kid, like we needed grown-ups to kind of take over those parts.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: And since a lot of us had to overcompensate in some areas, we have this other part that just doesn't want to do it.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Like thinks that we're not smart enough or thinks that it's too boring, or what whatever it is.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: And part of like you're calling it control, but I would say part of it is like maturing those immature parts and being like, actually, no, I yeah, I I can do this.
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: And I want to do this.
- 30:39SPEAKER_00: And even though this is uncomfortable for me and this is a growth edge for me, like I this is this is my business.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: It feels yeah, it feels really good.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: And I realize I'm I'm good at it.
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm smart, I'm strategic.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: So there's a part of my brain that I was like, wow, this is you know, that I kind of said, and I think I've realized no one is gonna save me except for me.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I think that was a really big piece of going, the only person at the end of the day is me.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: I was on this call the other night um with the auditor, kind of going through everything.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: And it was late, and I'd had dinner with my girls, and I went upstairs, and it was about a two-hour call.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: And Michaela, my oldest, pops her head and she's like, You're still on this call.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I know.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, it's 10 at night.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: I usually try to get into bed at like nine or eight: thirty.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:25SPEAKER_01: And here I am crunching these numbers, and I go down, I say goodnight to everyone.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: I go downstairs, I come back up, and she calls me into her room, and she's like, Mom, I'm really proud of you.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: And I mean I'm gonna cry.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: It's the best thing to hear from your kid.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Well, I feel like to be seen, yeah, and I'm a lot of why I'm doing loop is for my girls, you know.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm doing it not only to show them that at 50 they can do anything, but also like they I want them to be in charge of their own finances and their life and to know that they can build whatever they want.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: But it it takes a lot of hard work, and it's not for the faint of heart.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: And I do have to sacrifice sometimes them, like not as much time.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: Or like I would have loved to watch a movie with them all night, but I'm on an auditing call.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: So I think as mothers, and we talked about this last night a lot, is what it's like to be a mom and when you're wearing many hats.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: Um, and you also want to be a good partner to your spouse.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: It it's not, it's not easy.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: No, it's not.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: And I think that's another thing that women are really struggling with is like there's so many aspects of our life that are important and require our attention and our focus and our presence.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: And so many women are really depleted and nervous systems are really, really rattled.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: You know, I knew for me, and I think we all have to know our design.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Um, for me, I knew I could not work the way I was working and mother the way I wanted a mother.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: How did that feel?
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: Um a lot of grief.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: A lot of grief because I had to choose.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: Like the whole like we can have it all.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: And so many people have said this.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: Like, you can't have it.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: You cannot.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: You cannot.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: You have to, you have to make choices and and then like not beat yourself up for those choices.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: You know, I think where we struggle so much is in just not just making a choice because we're trying to do everything, we're trying to please everybody.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: We don't want to let something go.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: And I made the choice.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: Like, I am not gonna make as much money.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm open to it.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: I'm open to windfalls of cash flow.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: But I'm not gonna work like I worked.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: I used to be on the road half of the year at least, speaking, doing retreats, corporate events, whatever.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: I used to have a lot more clients.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: I used to run a lot more programs.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: And now that my daughter's four and a half, some of that's starting to come back in.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: She has her little outdoor school and she has her friends, and she, you know, she didn't go to preschool or anything until she was three.
- 33:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:55SPEAKER_00: And I'm not like, I have no judgment.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying I'm not like, you know.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: Um, and I just I made the choice.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: I had her older, I had her at 44.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: Um, by the way, guys, she had a baby baby naturally at 44.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: At home.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: That's at home for how many hours?
- 34:16SPEAKER_01: 38.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: We should add that to we should add that to your resume.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: That is, I mean, oh my gosh.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: Um, and and that's just we just we need to choose.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: And I think uh what trips us up is we think if we choose something, we're gonna lose something else.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: And the universe is infinite, right?
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: And I think we're outgrowing this whole thing of at a certain age, women become less impactful.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: I was thinking about the drive up here, and I'm like, I think the most powerful force to be reckoned with on the planet is women in their 50s.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: Seriously.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, that like kind of late 40s, 50s into your 60s, there's just so much like queen energy we step into, and there's this clarity about who we are and what we care about.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: And it's it's incredibly powerful.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: And I think the messaging with menopause and everything, like if we go, and this is an anti-man conversation.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: I love men, but if we look at the patriarchy, it had to tell us we lose value, right?
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: Because inherently it's when we become the most powerful.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: So we had to be brainwashed into thinking that our value decreases as we get older, because the truth is we actually just get more powerful and more embodied.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: And we're remembering that.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: And that was the biggest thing I got when I went to Egypt.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: And there are some incredible temples there where a lot of feminine energy comes in.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: And I was down in this one cave, which, you know, in my like normal day-to-day life, me crawling into a small dark space with like a cement lid, that would never happen for my nervous system.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: But the energy was so powerful, like drew me in.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: And I was down there, and the message I got, and I'm gonna say it in words, it wasn't in words, it was more like a transmission, transmission, was part of your divine assignment is to help women remember how powerful they are.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: Like your divine assignment is reclamation.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: Like, oh my gosh, that's what I've been doing.
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: I mean kind of back to what we were talking about.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm not here to rah-rah.
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: What are your goals?
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: What are the numbers we want to hit?
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: Like, push through.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: Um, I like my divine assignment is to help people remember who they are.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: You're very good at it too.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: And it's tough love sometimes.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: Like, we've had some really yeah conversations where I have to, you know, I get off, and sometimes my partner's like, oh God, did you have your coach today?
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: You literally, he's like, it's real hard and I'm gonna do my.
- 36:45SPEAKER_01: No, not for that reason, except that I I do take it very seriously.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: And so for me, it's like I do get to work after in the sense of like, okay, like I I want, I I do want to continue to grow and learn and move because I'm loving the version of me more and more.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: And back to like what it is to be, I think, in your late 40s and 50s, and everyone listening.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: If you really do the work and also surround yourself with the right people that aspire you, right, to be better, to learn, to, and it's not, oh, I want to be this person, but you leave a dinner and I'm like, that was an amazing conversation.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: Or I used to leave and be like, oh my God, I'm so drained.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Why was I there?
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: And I'm very, very intentional with my time, my energy, I'm working on my boundaries, and I'm working on not being so open and vulnerable and just like, I think I assume the best in everybody instead of being a little have some discernment.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: And the growth continues.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: The number one thing that I love the most of being my 50s, and it's I know it sounds so trite, but it's the biggest release is just not caring.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:52SPEAKER_01: Not caring what people think about you.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: And it's like, it's so easy to say to a 30-year-old, just don't care what people think about you.
- 37:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: Just get online, just not care.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: You, I think you have to earn it.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you do.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: There's a process of earning it because there's all that unlearning.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: Of just saying at the end of the day, your people find you.
- 38:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:09SPEAKER_01: You know, you're not.
- 38:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm very much, I always say, I'm not everyone's cup of tea.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: No.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: You know, maybe that's why I'm one of the most hated people on the internet.
- 38:15SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: But I do think it's some other people I hate more on the internet.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: Well, and I think too, you start to learn and really see because you have enough of your own experience that people see you through their own lens, right?
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: Their own judgments, their own projections, all that kind of stuff.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: And so, like, two people can walk into a room and see completely different things.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: Even though in reality they're the same.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: And I think we learn that.
- 38:43SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh, like that's actually her stuff or his stuff.
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: Like, there's a time in life I would not if I would not like who I saw.
- 38:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:51SPEAKER_01: Like I wouldn't like me.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: And and I get that because sometimes, and someone told me this, like, when you shine really bright, a lot of times you're too bright for people.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: And when I heard that, I said, okay, I I get that.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: I like I get that.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: And especially when you're in a season where someone is way too shiny, yeah, it's way easier to just like knock them down, talk bad about them, because you're just not at the place to say, wow, that's so cool that this woman is going for it.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: I think people don't understand positive projection.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: Explain that more.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: So, and this is how I love to teach jealousy.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: So if like you're really shiny and I that triggers me.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: So I want to bring you down.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: It's not because I'm like a terrible person, it's because I can't see the positive projection.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: Like whatever qualities I'm thinking you have that are making you so shiny, I'm believing I don't have.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: And because I'm judging myself, I have to judge you.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: So how bright and shiny people can be inspirational is that I see your bright shiny and I'm like, oh wow, she's a reflection.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Like whatever I'm seeing in her, I have.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: So it doesn't mean, like, if you look at Stephanie and go, wow, she's so bright, like I think I'm jealous.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe I need to look at the positive projection.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean you need to be an entrepreneur and go start a peptide company.
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: Please.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: We're not talking about like the actual things.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: We're talking about the qualities.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: So what do you see?
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: Is it her confidence?
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: Is it her radiance?
- 40:20SPEAKER_00: Is it her empowerment?
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Is it her courage?
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: Like, it's the qualities.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: And so we can use any kind of jealousy, any kind of envy to go, huh?
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: What am I not owning?
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: Like, how is this person showing me this?
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: And same thing with negative projection.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: The people that trigger us, the people we judge.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: It's like, who is that reminding me of from my past that's triggering me?
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: And I need to clean that up inside of me so I don't have a charge.
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: Or what is this showing me about me right now?
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, one of my biggest things is in Hoffman when you had to go and identify your patterns when it's like, are you judgmental?
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I am so not judgmental.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: I love all types of people.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: And then like yourself.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: Every single person that walked through the door, I'm like, oh God.
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was judging them the second they walk in.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: The person who was talking in the back nonstop, I was like, Oh God, what is her problem?
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Why is she here?
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: She's got major problems.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: I literally went back in and I was like, judgmental, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
- 41:15SPEAKER_01: You know, it was one of those things where I think every day just reflecting on yourself.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm gonna take a complete U-turn because I don't want to, I don't want to miss this.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: Like, tell me about Joe Rogan.
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: Like, I want to hear about that's really cool.
- 41:28SPEAKER_01: Like, really cool.
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: How was it?
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: I love Joe Rogan.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: It was a while ago.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: I think it was was it eight years ago?
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I I used to go to Austin a lot.
- 41:37SPEAKER_00: I used to live there before, and um there's a there's a gym there called On It.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: And there I would work out there, and there was a poster of Joe Rogan holding a kettlebell, kind of making this face.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: And very few people can do this with their yeah.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: And so I um it was back when I still had Twitter.
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: I took a picture and I put it out and I said, Do I look as tough as Joe Rogan?
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: And like, ha ha, whatever.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: And then I was I was getting a pedicure working on my computer, because this was back in the day where I couldn't just relax.
- 42:08SPEAKER_00: Of course, pedicure, I had to.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: God forbid, multitasking.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: But in some ways, like pedicures aren't that relaxing, you know, like when they move the calendar and just get this done.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just get it done.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: So I think it was more of a distraction.
- 42:19SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I get a tweet that says, Hey, do you want to be on the show from Joe Rogan?
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, ha ha, very funny.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: He's like, What's funny about it?
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: I wrote back, is this really Joe Rogan?
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: And he said, Yes.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: And I said, sure.
- 42:37SPEAKER_00: He goes, Okay, well, here's the address.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: And so, and here's the date.
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: And I text a friend who I knew knew him.
- 42:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: And I said, Did you tell him to have me on the show?
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: Because I had coached his friend a little bit.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: And he's like, No, he doesn't take suggestions.
- 42:55SPEAKER_00: Like, this is weird.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: I go, Well, is this really his address?
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: Or am I gonna like am I getting it like that?
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, cut into tiny pieces and be put in a freezer.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: And he's said, uh, no, that's that's the studio.
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: And I was like, holy shit.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: So I went and I was so nervous, Stephanie.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: This was before I did a lot of, I mean, I've done a lot of work over the years.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Um, but I hadn't done a lot of like the real nervous system work that I had done.
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: I was still single at the time.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: I, you know, I was my nervous system was not as like grounded as it is now.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: And I knew it was, and I'm I'm a huge empath and the show's live.
- 43:32SPEAKER_00: So, like when something's live or I'm in front of an audience, I feel everybody.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: And so we get there and there's like no foreplay.
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: We you just like, he's like, Hey, how you doing?
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, How did I end up here?
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: And he said, he didn't say this on air, but he said to me, I saw your tweet, and I think most life coaches are hacks.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: So I went to look at your page to make fun of you in my mind, and then I saw some of your stuff and thought you actually had some.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Decent things to say.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: And so I wanted to have you on the show.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh.
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: He basically was like, you're legit.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: Like, content works.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: Um, well, it did back then anyway.
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, then we just start talking.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: But as soon as I went live, and now he's like even bigger, but by then it was like three million people watching at a time, and I felt all that energy coming in.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: I wasn't, I wasn't, my nervous system wasn't scaled for that yet.
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: And so I was very nervous, very, very nervous.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: And we had a great conversation and it was fine.
- 44:29SPEAKER_00: I haven't ever listened to the episode because my inner critic would come up.
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: And but then late, then afterwards, we went and got cryotherapy.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: And that's when I really got to know him.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: And despite what people may say, like my experience, like, what a great guy.
- 44:43SPEAKER_01: That's what I think.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't, I don't have any, I I actually I I really admire him saying whatever he thinks.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: Boy Instagram, you might like him.
- 44:51SPEAKER_01: He's kind of like, like me or not, like me, listen or not listen.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: It's probably why he's done so well.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: And the way he talked about his family to me and the questions he asked me and the vulnerability, I was like, oh, this is very, very cool.
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: And and it was just a reminder, it was a reminder of we're all just human.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: And like where my lesson was was sitting in the podcast studio with the cameras, I let myself fall into the illusion of there's somebody I need to be.
- 45:17SPEAKER_00: I let my persona come forward too much, I think, versus when we just went and got cry, it was just like Christine and Joe talking.
- 45:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:24SPEAKER_00: And it was such a great reminder of like, oh, like you can just be that all the time.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: So I think in some ways that's why I was on the show because it was a turning point for me and going, I do not need to pretend.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: Like, I do not need to try anything.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: I just need to be my freaking self.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I wish I had learned that before I went on one of the biggest podcasts.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: Well, you haven't listened to it.
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: I bet you'd be more proud of yourself.
- 45:52SPEAKER_01: If you listen to it, you probably were not who you thought.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: You know, you at the end of the day, I bet you came across like well, who who knows, you know, and and it's not gonna do me any good criticizing myself.
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: It doesn't do any of us any good.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: But I think it if we value growth, we always look at what did I learn?
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: What did I learn?
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: And how can not how can I do better, but how can I bring even more of myself, more of my truth, more of my love forward to my next experience.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: Which I think was really cool because I think what's really popular right now is authenticity.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: I think people are very sick of everything looking so perfect and really those conversations of like, I'm going through a lot, or I had an experience that I wish I was showed up differently.
- 46:34SPEAKER_01: And someone looks at you thinking, you're polished, you speak around the world, you're all these things, and you felt this way.
- 46:38SPEAKER_00: Oh gosh, yeah.
- 46:39SPEAKER_00: I still get nervous every time I go on stage.
- 46:41SPEAKER_00: I feel the energy.
- 46:42SPEAKER_00: I don't get nervous that I'm gonna like forget what to say, or once I get going, I'm fine.
- 46:46SPEAKER_00: But I just like I feel the energy and I also consider it like a great responsibility.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: Yes, you know, like people are giving you their attention, yeah, and their time and their money and all of it.
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: And then you've got to show up.
- 47:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:02SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 47:02SPEAKER_01: I want to talk a little bit about because it's interesting.
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: You had such a big career so young, which is really impressive.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: Kind of walk us.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: It's amazing what massive insecurity can do.
- 47:13SPEAKER_00: You're really motivating.
- 47:14SPEAKER_01: You make it kind of to where everything is now.
- 47:18SPEAKER_01: We talked about it last night, which I think is interesting.
- 47:21SPEAKER_01: The word life coach, you know, the word, because we both coach in very different ways.
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: And I sometimes, when someone says, What do you do?
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: I'm a peptide coach.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, oh my gosh, shoot me, because everyone on the internet now is a peptide coach.
- 47:35SPEAKER_01: So it's, I mean, I'm so much more than that.
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: But talk to me a little bit about how you see the industry and how much it's changed since you started.
- 47:43SPEAKER_01: Well, let's start with the good.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:45unknown: I love that.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: So, what's wonderful is there's so much information.
- 47:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: Like there's so much information.
- 47:52SPEAKER_00: You can learn so much.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: It's cool to be self-aware.
- 47:56unknown: Yeah.
- 47:56SPEAKER_00: Like we can, you know, when I started and I started studying inner child stuff and you know, 20 years ago, and that wasn't something people talked about.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: Like your inner child.
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: What is that?
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: Where does that live?
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're like, um, and people didn't know their attachment styles.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: And now, like, we we know these things.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: We talk about um like our family of origin and our wounding, and it's cool to have a coach, it's cool to go to therapy, like it's just kind of part of you go to the dentist.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: So much, yeah.
- 48:27SPEAKER_00: And it's what I love too, is the internet has made it not so much a luxury item.
- 48:33SPEAKER_00: You know, this kind of work used to be more for the privilege and more for people that had the resources to invest in themselves.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: And now, because there's so much, you know, free information out there, it's accessible for more and more people, which I love because what I'm seeing, having been in this world for 20 years, and even more so, because I saw my first therapist when I was 10, um, is that, you know, the access to it is increasing.
- 49:00SPEAKER_00: So the ripple effect of breaking generational patterns and lifting consciousness on the planet is happening at a time when the planet is not doing great.
- 49:10SPEAKER_00: So we need this growth and consciousness to, you know, deal with everything that we're having to deal with.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: So that's the beauty of everything that's happening.
- 49:19SPEAKER_00: The things I'm concerned about is that there's no, there's kind of no regulation.
- 49:25SPEAKER_00: And sort of what I was saying earlier, this expectation that this one course will fix your life.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: Working with this one person is going to solve all your problems.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: And the industry can prey upon our pain, you know, and really hit that point of like, oh yeah, I need to, I need to fix that.
- 49:43SPEAKER_00: And so, my one thing with, you know, we try in our marketing company, and I'm sure if you like look back at the internet, I have even been guilty of this, but we have my team and I have learned, we really try not to say anything to the extent of you, this is broken about you, and buying our product is going to fix it.
- 50:02SPEAKER_00: Like that just makes me cringe.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: Um, and so I think we have to be, as consumers, there's two things.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: We have to be very discerning, not to buy from, I'm broken, this will fix me.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: In desperation.
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but more from this resonates.
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: Like, I want someone to work with me or purchase a course because they're like, this resonates.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: Like she's saying things that like I feel it, not like, oh God, I hope this helps me, you know.
- 50:31SPEAKER_00: Um, and then the other thing is relationally, like the the other thing that concerns me, especially about AI, is you know, you can AI can be your life coach.
- 50:41SPEAKER_00: But most wounding, well, really all trauma, all wounding, all of our survival patterns happen relationally, right?
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: They happen because of other humans.
- 50:50SPEAKER_00: And if you're trying to have a robot help you solve that, it can be great in terms of pattern recognition.
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: But part of the dance between you and I is that we're relational.
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: There's what I say, there's what you learn, but it's the relational container that opens up to the healing.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: So what I would say to people is you know, have all your information, have your favorite, you know, chat, Claude, life coach, whoever it is, but make sure that there's a relational aspect to your growth.
- 51:24SPEAKER_00: Because otherwise it's hard.
- 51:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: Well, also, I feel at least I can only speak for myself.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: When I was in my most desperate stage of my life, you're so vulnerable.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: You really are.
- 51:36SPEAKER_01: And you know, I remember, I'm not gonna even say her name, but a woman who does a lot of um relationship work.
- 51:41SPEAKER_01: I've, you know, she was on Instagram and she was offering like 30-minute calls.
- 51:46SPEAKER_01: I remember paying a crazy amount of money to sit in my closet to have her walk me through that I needed to get divorced.
- 51:55SPEAKER_01: And sitting there, because I just I needed like I, you know, and that looking at that girl, thank goodness she was such, she's a beautiful professional.
- 52:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm lucky, I had the 30 minutes.
- 52:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I was so vulnerable, it could have been a really bad situation, too.
- 52:08SPEAKER_01: And that's what scares me a little bit is that just the vulnerability.
- 52:12SPEAKER_01: And I'm not saying that coaches are prying, or even like in the peptide world, like I think what people are very surprised at my coaching calls.
- 52:19SPEAKER_01: I'm not selling you peptides.
- 52:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:21SPEAKER_01: You know, we're walking through where you are.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: At the end of the day, I really empower them.
- 52:24SPEAKER_01: I've guided you.
- 52:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is what it is.
- 52:26SPEAKER_01: Now go make your own decision.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: Here's where you can find more research.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: Because at the end of the day, they need to make the decision for themselves, and it's so easy.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: And you could take advantage of someone be like, you need eight peptides.
- 52:35SPEAKER_01: I'll be like, okay.
- 52:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:37SPEAKER_01: And that's scary.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: Like, so I in any industry, I think with the coaching, is oftentimes you're getting a very desperate, vulnerable person who wants change so badly that in the wrong hands, yeah, that's a little scary.
- 52:49SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: And every person, well, every industry has its, you know, pluses and minuses.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Um, and in the coaching industry, uh the coach is human too.
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: So one of my um principles and the thing that's so important to me as a coach is to make sure I'm as clear as possible and that I'm not projecting my own opinion, experience, anything.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: And there's even been times when intuitively I've known something for someone, and I'm kind of like, can I tell?
- 53:22SPEAKER_00: Like, do I say?
- 53:23SPEAKER_00: And sometimes I get a yes, it's okay.
- 53:26SPEAKER_00: More often I get a no.
- 53:27SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 53:28SPEAKER_00: Because they can't hold it.
- 53:29SPEAKER_00: Uh no, because it's for them to discover.
- 53:33SPEAKER_00: And I don't want to create like a dependence, like, oh, she my coach knows the answers.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: No, you know the answers.
- 53:42SPEAKER_00: Like, I think of it, I kind of wish it wasn't called coaching.
- 53:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, I like the word guide, but I don't even know what I'd call it.
- 53:48SPEAKER_00: I've struggled with this over the years because coach, if we think of coach, we think of it in terms of sports.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: Like when I said I was a life coach in my 20s, people be like, what sport?
- 53:56SPEAKER_00: Because it wasn't a thing back then.
- 53:58SPEAKER_00: Um, because a coach, like if I hire a tennis coach, he's gonna tell me exactly what to do.
- 54:03SPEAKER_00: Hold the racket like this.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: Like when you toss to serve, you need like you give specific instructions, but I don't think life coaches should be doing that.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 54:12SPEAKER_00: It makes sense.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: It's really You're a guide.
- 54:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 54:16SPEAKER_00: And you ask the right questions.
- 54:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: I think of it like there's a cave in your consciousness that has all the answers on there.
- 54:26SPEAKER_00: And you and I just walk in together and I happen to have the flashlight so that you can see it.
- 54:30SPEAKER_00: That's a great analogy.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: I think that's that's the best analogy.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: But how do you write that?
- 54:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, and I hate all these words like real life coaching this because you're at the end of the day, you're like, I'm so much that doesn't do it justice.
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: Yes, I know.
- 54:43SPEAKER_01: And there's so many, you're like, really?
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: You're gonna compare me who's got you know all these accolades and books and all this stuff with someone who took a course for 30 minutes and is on the internet in front of me.
- 54:52SPEAKER_01: Or I I struggle with the 25-year-old.
- 54:54SPEAKER_01: And I was like, oh, really?
- 54:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, really?
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: You're telling me nothing works for you?
- 54:59SPEAKER_01: You're 25.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Like, and and that's where I do feel back into our 50s is you can sort of be an authority on something because you've lived a lot of lives in the sense you have experience, and authority is probably the wrong word, but you can feel very confident talking about something because you've lived for a long time on this earth.
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of embodied wisdom that comes from life experience, right?
- 55:17SPEAKER_00: And we trust.
- 55:19SPEAKER_01: So tell I want to tell the audience before we run out of time about your queen.
- 55:23SPEAKER_01: What is it called?
- 55:23SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 55:24SPEAKER_00: I will talk about that.
- 55:25SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 55:25SPEAKER_00: You mentioned the spiritual part, and I just want to like go to that just for a second because we're on that thread.
- 55:31SPEAKER_00: So, but kind of being that guide with the flashlight, I come from the belief that we all have all the resources inside to get where we need to get.
- 55:42SPEAKER_00: And um, in both my training at the University of Santa Monica, which was a spiritual psychology program, and then I got another master's in consciousness, health, and healing.
- 55:51SPEAKER_00: And then I was on faculty there.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: So I was really steeped in that world.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: The perspective is like Earth is kind of a school, and we all have a soul, and the intelligence of our soul is to evolve.
- 56:03SPEAKER_00: It's not to get married to this person, have these kids make this money, have this business.
- 56:08SPEAKER_00: All of those things are to help us learn what we need to learn and grow.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: So, you know, our soul, I believe that we don't just have one time.
- 56:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, I believe that too.
- 56:20SPEAKER_00: You can say it here, and we are on the same belief.
- 56:22SPEAKER_00: Um, and that, you know, whatever we don't learn and clear in this life, we get another chance in other ones.
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: And so everything is for our learning and growth, which is a hard pill for me to swallow at times, like the Christine, like the human in me, because there's some horrific things that happen in the world.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: You know, and the whole like everything happens for a reason sounds kind of trite when something terrible happens.
- 56:46SPEAKER_00: Um, but I come from the perspective of like there's there's a greater knowing that knows more than me, more than you, and we each have our relationship to it.
- 56:57SPEAKER_00: And so part of what I see my work is is guiding people back to their spiritual authority, whatever that is.
- 57:04SPEAKER_00: I don't care what belief system, I don't care what religion, but that there's a relationship between them and something bigger than them.
- 57:11SPEAKER_00: Because surrender is really hard if we don't have some tether to something that that is unconditional love.
- 57:20SPEAKER_00: And especially when you're in a hard time.
- 57:22SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 57:23SPEAKER_01: To lean into it.
- 57:23SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 57:24SPEAKER_01: And to be, I've learned to slowing down that I I've been saying, listen, like, oh, I feel you, God.
- 57:29SPEAKER_01: I see you and I feel you're all around me.
- 57:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 57:31SPEAKER_01: You know, and I'm seeing the gifts and you're with me, and I, oh, you brought this person in.
- 57:35SPEAKER_01: Like it's interesting where there's a time in my life, excuse me, not me, you bulldoze through when you're not in a place to really go, wow.
- 57:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm being held.
- 57:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 57:46SPEAKER_00: So thank you for letting me say that because I think it's an important part of you know where we all are.
- 57:52SPEAKER_00: And this fast-paced technological world, I think that tether is gonna become even more and more important so we don't just get programmed because we're consistently being pro like there's so much messaging happening out there that that we've gotta keep our tether.
- 58:09SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 58:10SPEAKER_00: Um, so be the queen, which you asked me about, which I love.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: Um, so that's my favorite.
- 58:17SPEAKER_00: Well, I I love all my programs.
- 58:18SPEAKER_00: It's like, which one's your favorite child?
- 58:20SPEAKER_00: Um, right.
- 58:21SPEAKER_00: And they're of course they're all created from my own, you know, my own lessons.
- 58:26SPEAKER_00: But Be the Queen is a program for women calling in love, calling in relationship.
- 58:31SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I was divorced in my early 30s and met my husband at 40.
- 58:34SPEAKER_00: Um, like you said, had my daughter at 44.
- 58:37SPEAKER_00: And so this was a big area of growth in my life.
- 58:40SPEAKER_00: Like I could, I, I did the career thing.
- 58:42SPEAKER_00: I could do the achievement thing.
- 58:44SPEAKER_00: Relationship was tough.
- 58:46SPEAKER_00: And from my own experience, I created a program to call in my husband and P.S.
- 58:50SPEAKER_00: He lived in Perth, Australia.
- 58:53SPEAKER_00: The furthest away possible.
- 58:54SPEAKER_00: Furthest away.
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: I lived in San Diego and I did not meet him through any app or anything.
- 58:57SPEAKER_00: It was crazy.
- 58:58SPEAKER_00: We don't have time for the story, but it really like I love to teach women how to stop looking, how to stop seeking for things, whether it's love or money or career, basic anatomy, we are the receivers.
- 59:13SPEAKER_00: Like, and we have forgotten how to channel that superpower and how to call things forward.
- 59:21SPEAKER_00: Even in basic uh reproductive biology, when a woman ovulates and her egg is there waiting to be fertilized, if sperm comes in, and you know there's there's a gazillion that come in, right?
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: The egg can sense which sperm is going to be the best fit and can make that sperm swim faster to her.
- 59:45SPEAKER_00: That's crazy, right?
- 59:46SPEAKER_00: Isn't that so cool?
- 59:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 59:48SPEAKER_00: And so that's the principle, that's what I love to help women do.
- 59:52SPEAKER_00: It's like you don't need to do, I said do, but like you don't need to do anything.
- 59:56SPEAKER_00: So that's why it's called be the queen.
- 59:58SPEAKER_00: And we say queen because don't think of like a person who's been a queen, like Queen Elizabeth or whoever.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_00: Think of the archetype of a queen.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_00: And if you think of a queen, she is embodied.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_00: She know she can look out, she knows what's best for herself and for everyone, right?
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_00: She's not frazzled.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_00: That queen energy, there's this embodiment, this knowing, this I draw things to me.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_00: I know when to act, I know when to sit, I know when to rest.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_00: I I am my own inner authority.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_00: I am a sovereign being.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_00: I'm not looking for somebody to come save me.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_00: And so this was a this is a program I teach with my husband.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_00: And we've done it since 2019.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_00: And of the women we've surveyed, I think it's a 67% are in relationship.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, interesting.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_00: There's been so many marriages of babies.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_00: Um, and there's been a lot of second marriages.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: Like there's a lot of women that join in their 50s, 60s, even 70s who think it's too late for me.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_00: It's like, no, it's no, it's not.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_00: Not at all.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_00: There's no expiration date on love.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_00: And then we also have women that are like, you know what?
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_00: I'm who I'm calling forward.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_00: Like I actually really love my life and myself.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: And this whole like, I need to be chosen, I need a partner.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: I like I'm good.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_01: I'm good.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_00: So the intention is Which usually then someone you find someone when you're good.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_00: If you want that.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_00: And that's what, again, it's back to clarity.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_00: I think there's so much we're programmed to think we want, and there's we're programmed to think this is the way we need to do it.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_00: And so it's that deprogramming of that.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_00: So you can be clear in actually what you desire and how to call it forward.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_00: And part of what I love to teach, and this is what I had to learn, is how to have desire and longing without suffering.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_00: Because, and again, I'm gonna use relationship, but you can apply this to any aspect of your life.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_00: I tried the I'm gonna go, it's a numbers game.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go on seven dates a week.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be on three different apps.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_00: I just gotta like get out there and it's a numbers game and get my energy out there and like talk about it.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_00: It was a full-time job.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: I tried that.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_00: Nope, didn't work.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_00: Then I tried, you know what?
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_00: I'm good.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_00: I don't need it.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna live my life and like I'm not even gonna think about it.
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_00: Neither worked.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: Because neither were true.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_00: And neither were actually using my feminine superpowers and my authenticity.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: So when I when I started to like coach myself through this, like, what is more true?
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_00: The truth is I do have a desire.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_00: And I think women's desires have been made wrong for centuries.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_00: That's a whole other podcast.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_00: Like I do have a desire, but this desire is making me feel shitty.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_00: Because the desire is immediately orienting me towards what I don't have.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_00: And so I practiced having the desire, having the longing, but not feeling the lack.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_00: Really allowing to feel as if I already had it.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_00: To feel the safety, to feel the connection, to feel everything that I was desiring.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_00: The relief.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_00: I think I really wanted to feel the relief of knowing, okay, this is my person.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_00: Like that because I felt myself looking.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_00: And I would lean into that, lean, like lean into the desire, lean into the longing.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_00: But the second it went to suffering, I'd shift it back.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_00: And that that was the energetic that I had to get into.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_00: And I'm kind of simplifying it.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's a powerful place for anybody, especially a woman, to sit.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_01: And I also love the idea of being in a room with all these other women.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_01: Like the power of that.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's a little bit of the work that I do, is just and also there's just connection.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_01: I think there's such a lack of connection with AI and all, and and you know, what's real, what's not real.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, feeling like you're alone.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_00: I hope I can come to that.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_01: I hope the timing works for me.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_00: It yeah, well, it's an online course.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_00: So we're we're teaching a masterclass October 13th, 14th, 15th called Love Magnet.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_00: And I can give you a link for that.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're gonna do all of this.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_00: And then we start we start the live course at the end of October.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_00: We do have a one-day retreat that you get as part of the course in San Diego, but it's not like mandatory, it's a bonus thing.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_00: So, women, we've had women from all over the world.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, I believe that.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, do the course.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_00: It's really cool.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, that's okay.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_01: We're gonna link all this stuff.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_01: All right, so the end of the podcast, I make everybody do answer some rapid fire questions.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love rapid fire.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_01: So if you could go back, well, this will be really interesting.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_01: The 20-year-old Christine.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_01: Like, tell me what you'd say to her.
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_00: The 20-year-old Christine.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_01: Um or in your 20s.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_01: You know, yeah.
- 1:04:45SPEAKER_01: That chapter of your life.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_00: Gosh, it's hard to say because like there's so many things that like I just had to experience.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_00: Um, but probably I would have said like, have more fun.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_00: Ooh.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_00: Have more fun.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_00: I was so driven.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_00: And I just don't think I had enough fun.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_01: I love that because fun is really important.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_01: It's really important.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_00: I don't think I know how to have fun.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_01: I've been in those stages too.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_01: I totally understand.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_01: So, what's a daily non-negotiable for you?
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_00: Um, a daily non-negotiable, well, obviously, my daughter is like a big part of that, but a daily non-negotiable for me is sleep.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: That is like I will do anything and everything.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_00: Somebody teaches how to fix all that.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: Yes, exactly.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_01: That's a good one.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_01: That's a good one.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_01: So, what's a guilty pleasure that's you know, you laugh.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_01: It's not so guilty that you have.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, audiobooks.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_00: I'm a junkie.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_00: I panic if I can't find my headphones at night because I like need fictional fiction.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I said the mic.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_00: Fictional audiobooks.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_00: If I can't find my head, I should get a wired headset.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_00: I I I did a probably a two year stint where I was like deep into World War II historical, heroin, fiction, drama.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_00: Um and I I love I'm listening to a 28-hour audiobook right now.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_00: Is this because you can escape?
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_00: It's like, yes.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_00: And I I love stories and it just gets me, it's just soothing to my nervous system.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_00: But that is my sick lay in bed, close your eyes, and just a little few.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, my wired headphones.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_00: And I have to put a timer on my audiobook because I fall asleep.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm sure.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_00: So like can't just keep playing because then my husband is it.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_00: My husband always laughs at me because before bed, I'm always rewinding.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_00: Where was I?
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_01: Where did no one has said that before?
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_01: That's really interesting.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to read more, and maybe it would help if I listen because I'm so tired at night.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_01: My eyes are so heavy, so then I'm like, which helps you go to bed, but you're like, I'm not getting the knowledge that I would like to get from these books.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_01: All right, we're gonna talk a little bit about peptides.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_01: I always ask.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_01: And the answer could be like, I don't, I'm not on peptides, I don't know anything about peptides.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_01: So, what's your favorite peptide if you tried a peptide?
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_00: Um, or a small molecule or you know, bioregulator, whatever.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_00: Well, the only peptides I've used are yours.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_00: And I really liked, um, I think I was on luplein.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_00: And I was scared to do it because um, well, because of reasons people are scared to do GLP.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_00: But you said to me that you really thought it would help with inflammation postpartum because I had the postpartum perimenopause dovetail, which that can be another podcast.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_00: Um, and I had a lot of cortisol.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_00: And even though I physically didn't look inflamed, you said it could help with a lot of the neuroinflammation, and it did.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_00: So that was probably my favorite.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's a great one.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: And just like, you know, the tiniest, tiny piece works so good.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_01: The last question: where is Christine gonna be in 20 years?
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_01: Like, where do you see yourself or hope to see yourself or dream of?
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: Um, I just think how old my daughter will be then.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_00: She'll be 24.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_00: So hopefully I'll be wherever she is, which she may, she may disagree about.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_00: Um I from what you told me, I doubt it.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_00: She's probably gonna be living with you.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_00: Um, and just watching her step into her 20s.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_00: Uh, but you know, at that point in my life, I really hope to be in legacy building.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_00: And whatever that looks like, you know, I feel I've been blessed to sit at the feet of some incredible teachers who many, you know, three of them are are no longer alive.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, when I used to, uh one of my expertise when I go to corporate speaking events was generational diversity, because my book was we're on 20 somethings, and it was when all the millennials were coming into the workforce and there was this huge generational gap between young millennials and baby boomers.
- 1:08:44SPEAKER_00: And especially in big companies where like factories and where there was a lot of like intricacies to the knowledge, the biggest problem they had was knowledge transfer.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_00: That these people that were retiring had all of this embodied wisdom.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_00: And, you know, young people would come in with their laptops and try to figure things out, and it wasn't something you could put in a document, right?
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_00: It was that embodied wisdom.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_00: So I just I have a lot of wisdom from my own life and that has been passed down to me.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_00: And I just want to be able to pass that on.
- 1:09:18SPEAKER_00: Do you think a write another book?
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know.
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_00: Books are funny.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_00: I'd I'd rather train people, yeah, you know, and like pass on wisdom and and and by train people, I mean pass on wisdom and also like help them come into like who they are.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_00: And like we talked about, I think with with AI and with how much technology is advancing, humans need to keep advancing.
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_00: So I am doubling down on like investing in humans.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_01: Well, and the gift, if there can be like a thousand of you or two thousand or five thousand, well, the world would be very efficient because I'm very Virgo.
- 1:09:54unknown: I know.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, I'm sitting here still being like, pinch me because I I feel I manifested this.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_01: This is something that I wanted to do for a long time.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_01: I was a little nervous in the beginning because I was like, I don't like to ask people to ever like do something, but the fact that like I think we just naturally got here, you know?
- 1:10:11SPEAKER_01: Then when I did ask you, I was very comfortable.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_01: And I was very much like whenever will happen, will happen.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_01: And I'm just so grateful.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_01: I'm so grateful for you for just being in my life, to be honest.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_01: And like that, God brought you to me.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_01: And that this journey has been beautiful, and it's just starting, is how I think of it.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_00: So I'm so grateful for you.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure your audience knows this from watching you.
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_00: But you, like I said in the beginning, you are the real deal.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_00: You are sometimes overly self-critical openly.
- 1:10:42unknown: You think?
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, like I just not that you need it, but I just give you full permission to like own who you truly are.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_00: Because you are incredible and you've been through a lot.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_00: And I think sometimes when we we didn't grow up in a family w where we lived in poverty and we weren't beaten every day, and we didn't have like tons of sexual trauma, and we know so many people did.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we can feel like, well, you know, who am I to complain?
- 1:11:11SPEAKER_00: Who am I to have trouble?
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_00: Who am I to have challenges?
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_00: I think it's important to remember that we all live our own experience.
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_00: And we all we've all had our hard, what whatever it is.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_00: And you're such an inspiration and an example of like, I can have my hard and I can still move forward.
- 1:11:28SPEAKER_00: I don't have to be perfect and have everything figured out to take some really big leaps in life.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_00: And you've done that so beautifully and with so much authenticity and courage and and humbleness and just being in your home and seeing the mom you are and the love you create.
- 1:11:44SPEAKER_00: It's just beautiful.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_01: Oh, that means the world to me.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_01: This is a great start to my Friday, 7 a.m.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_01: coffee with Christy Hassler.

- 1:12:05SPEAKER_01: Until next time, we'll see you on the Loop Way podcast.
