- Jessica Figueroa: Who's ready to have some fun today? My name is Cindy Marlar. This is the Just For Today podcast where we do things just for today. We spend a few minutes, a couple minutes together every day discussing new ideas. Today is one to remind us that we have to be creative. Creativity in the boardroom is learned in the art classroom when we're young. So if you are looking to be more creative, it's possible you're not putting yourself in creative environments anymore that are. forcing you to think creatively creatively so then you can use them in other areas. So today's assignment, we're going to take a blank piece of paper out of that printer at home or out of the printer at work, unless that would be considered stealing, don't do that. We're going to get a blank piece of paper. If you have some colored pencils, colored markers, crayons, whatever. If not, just a pencil or pen will do. And you are going to create something on that blank piece of paper. I'm not going to tell you what, I'm not going to tell you how. I'm just going to tell you To sit down with that blank piece of paper and create. And then I'd love for you to share with us. You know, drop a picture of what you create in the comment. Please make it appropriate. Please make it something shareable. But I just want you to practice being creative because sometimes we have creative blocks that are blocking us from figuring out which extra curriculars to plan for our kids next year. Because that takes creativity. So if we're not exercising our creativity when we need to dig in and rely on it, we haven't been creative enough. So today. You, blank sheet of paper, something to write or draw with, and just be creative. No rules, no structure, no lines. You and your creative mind. Go out and do it for today. Be creative. I'll see you tomorrow and I'm excited to see what you created.
