- 0:00There's a quote that says dumper laugh now, cry later, dumpy cry
- 0:07now, laugh later. And even though you think your
- 0:12ex or know that your ex is happy about the breakup and they're
- 0:15doing great, doesn't mean it's always going to be that way.
- 0:20As time goes by, there's a very good chance they'll eventually
- 0:24start to feel worse and you will start to feel better.
- 0:27As hard as it may be to believe right now, how is this possible?
- 0:31Well, stay tuned and you'll find out.
- 0:34Hi, this is Lucia with the Art of Love.
- 0:36I'm a dating and relationship expert specializing in helping
- 0:39you get your ex back or to get over your ex.
- 0:41And welcome back my beautiful no contact army.
- 0:44Have you downloaded Silencio to help you stay in no contact?
- 0:49The app is underneath every single video and podcast.
- 0:53And if you too would like to join our no contact army, all
- 0:56you have to do is to the subscribe button and the bell
- 1:01notification and you're in. And to read our manual go to
- 1:04nocontactsecrets.com where you can read 2 free chapters before
- 1:09you purchase the book. So unless this is not the first
- 1:14breakup with this person, then your ex does not know how
- 1:19they're going to feel after the breakup with you.
- 1:22They just know they wanted the breakup, but they are now on new
- 1:27terrain. They've not been here before.
- 1:29Most people when they dump someone, they think that they're
- 1:32going to go off and live happily ever after, but that's not
- 1:36always the way it works out. Jumpers don't always want to end
- 1:41the relationship, but they feel they have to for a variety of
- 1:45reasons. So most will feel relief after
- 1:49the breakup. They dreaded having to break up
- 1:52with you, right? Because who wants to have to go
- 1:54through that? But when they finally do, they
- 1:57feel relief. Just as when you dread having to
- 2:00do something or talk to a certain person.
- 2:02And then when you finally do it, you're like, so glad that's over
- 2:06with. I'm so relieved.
- 2:08Even if the interaction didn't go well, you're just relieved
- 2:11it's not behind you, right? So they're relieved they got
- 2:15that over with, and they're relieved that they're no longer
- 2:19in a relationship where they weren't happy.
- 2:24Now, there are some dumpers who don't immediately feel relief,
- 2:28and they will actually be feeling bad right after the
- 2:31breakup. And these are the people who
- 2:35will reach out to you sooner rather than later.
- 2:39You'll hear from them within a few days or a few weeks.
- 2:42And that's usually because they feel guilty about hurting you
- 2:47and they're hoping that you're doing OK so that they can go off
- 2:50on their merry weight without feeling bad.
- 2:53It doesn't mean that they want to get back together.
- 2:57Unless it was a fake breakup to get you to do something or not
- 3:03do something. And even if it was a fake
- 3:06breakup, they are still the ones who need to say that they've
- 3:10changed their mind and they made a mistake.
- 3:12You can't ask for them. And I've done a video on fake
- 3:15breakups and I will put the link up on YouTube.
- 3:20So while they feel relief, you unfortunately feel out of
- 3:23control. Which is why if you have an
- 3:27anxious attachment style, you chase your ex after the breakup.
- 3:32People with a secure or an avoidant attachment style may
- 3:37also feel out of control, but they channel that energy in
- 3:41different ways. They don't reach out to their
- 3:43ex. But you know the relief stage.
- 3:47It does not last forever. It eventually passes.
- 3:51It will eventually lose its shine, as does everything.
- 3:56They're going to begin to realize that the single life
- 3:59isn't what they thought it would be, or the rebound is not
- 4:03someone who's going to be able to replace you.
- 4:06So now, finally, they can start to feel worse when they feel the
- 4:11emotional consequences of the breakup, meaning they actually
- 4:15start to miss you. There's no way that you can be
- 4:19with someone for years or even months and not miss them when
- 4:24they're no longer in your life. At some point, at some time,
- 4:29they're going to start to miss you.
- 4:32And this happens when they get triggered.
- 4:34You have triggers and you want to reach out, right?
- 4:38You probably have triggers every day and you want to reach out.
- 4:41So why wouldn't they? And this can be anything from a
- 4:44song that reminds them of you or of a fun time you share
- 4:49together. A location, a movie, a food,
- 4:54anything. And this is the part of the
- 4:58video where I let you know that, believe it or not, 65% of people
- 5:04who listen to me are not subscribed.
- 5:06I know. So I just want to ask you one
- 5:09thing and that is if my videos have ever helped you in any way
- 5:13and you want to give something back, all you have to do is hit
- 5:17the subscribe button. And I promise that I will
- 5:20continue to work hard and put out interesting and helpful
- 5:23videos so that you can get your ex back.
- 5:25Thank you. OK, so continuing on, they will
- 5:32finally feel the consequences of breaking up with you.
- 5:38But you need to let them get to that point by getting into no
- 5:41contact and staying there. Because if you get impatient
- 5:46like most people do, and think that they're not going to reach
- 5:50out and you contact them, you've just set yourself back and
- 5:56you're going to have to start the count all over again.
- 5:59For all you know, they could have been at the point of
- 6:02breaking and they were going to reach out tomorrow or next week.
- 6:08Keep in mind that water boils at 100°C, but it does not boil at
- 6:1798°C. Those last couple of degrees
- 6:22make all the difference. So if you take the pot off the
- 6:25stove at 98° because you're impatient, it hasn't started to
- 6:31boil yet, it's going to cool off and now you're going to have to
- 6:35start all over again. So same thing with contacting
- 6:40your ex before they get to the point where they get triggered
- 6:44and start to miss you. That's why it's imperative that
- 6:47you get into no contact and stay there no matter what.
- 6:53Now, on top of missing you, your silence is a blow to their ego.
- 6:59When they broke up with you, they figured they could get you
- 7:02back at any time if things didn't go as planned.
- 7:05In their new life, you were an option.
- 7:09However, your silence is now making them doubt whether they
- 7:13could even get you back. And the confidence they once
- 7:17had, it's starting to diminish. Maybe they're not as amazing as
- 7:22they thought they were, or maybe you weren't as into them as they
- 7:27thought you were. Otherwise, why are you not
- 7:30reaching out? How could you possibly just be
- 7:33moving on with your life, especially if at first you were
- 7:36upset at the breakup? Are you faking it until you make
- 7:40it, or are you truly over them? These thoughts are going to
- 7:45invade their mind and they'll want to know the answers, and
- 7:49that's when you'll hear from them.
- 7:52Usually in the form of a breadcrumb because of course
- 7:55they don't want to be vulnerable, but you're going to
- 7:58be a good little soldier and you're not going to respond to a
- 8:02breadcrumb. And that's going to be an even
- 8:04bigger blow to their ego. They were 100% certain that if
- 8:09they reached out, you would respond even if they just said
- 8:13hey or how's it going, which is what they usually do.
- 8:18And yet on your side, it's radio silence.
- 8:21Now they're starting to panic. If they're anxious or anxious
- 8:26avoidant, they may call you a bunch of times in a day.
- 8:30Or the more likely scenario is that they'll wait a couple of
- 8:33weeks and try again hoping that in the meantime you will reach
- 8:37out. But of course you're not going
- 8:39to because you're working on your attachment style and you're
- 8:43leveling up and you do not have time for bread crumbs.
- 8:48You'll delay them missing you and quote UN quote crying later
- 8:53if you don't leave them alone and get into no contact.
- 8:57That's why you want to get into it as soon as possible.
- 8:59They have to feel your absence and they can't do that if you're
- 9:02not absent, right? Any type of you reaching out to
- 9:08them, even if it's only once a month or anything that lets them
- 9:12know you may still be interested, such as watching
- 9:16their story. Even if it's accidental, it's
- 9:19breaking no contact and you have to start the count all over
- 9:22again. So if you have my Silencio app,
- 9:26you can just reset the counter back to 0.
- 9:31So let time do its thing. Let them get past the relief
- 9:35stage of thinking they're going to have a great old time being
- 9:38single or moving on, and eventually they'll experience
- 9:43the consequences of the breakup. They'll start to feel worse.
- 9:47They'll miss you. Their ego will have taken a hit.
- 9:51In the meantime, you've been working on your attachment
- 9:54style, right? You've been working on your
- 9:56attachment style. You've begun to level up, work
- 10:00out, and you're feeling better. And that's when you'll hear from
- 10:04hear from them. And if you want to know how long
- 10:08each stage is going to take, because I know that's your next
- 10:11question, I of course have done a video on that and I'll put the
- 10:14link on YouTube. So now I'm going to hear from
- 10:17you. How long have you been in no
- 10:19contact and how is it going? And in the meantime, if you
- 10:23would like my help to get your ex back, you can contact me at
- 10:26theartoflove.net/coaching and we will send you the rates.
- 10:31They are not on the website and the direct link to that is
