- Jessica Figueroa: Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the Just For Today podcast. And today I want to share with you. I was on a road trip all the way up to Tennessee. It was a lot of driving from South Florida, and there was a lot of staring out the window for all of us. It was a big group of us in a 15-passenger van and questions get asked. And we all have the ability now to look up the answers to these questions. But what we're missing out on is wonder. So just for today. I don't want you to look up the answer to the questions you have or your kids or your friends. I just want you to wonder. I want you to say, hmm, I wonder. I wonder what kind of bird that is. Fight the urge to look it up. I wonder what they're doing over there. And then just sit and wonder. Think about the word wonder. Wonder is such a wonderful word. Literally, wonder is a wonderful word. So let's Be people of wonder. Let's wonder about things. Let's encourage our children to just wonder. And when they ask something, how does this work? How does that be like, I wonder. And let them wonder. Wonder is the foundation to creativity and problem solving. Is you have to wonder. Curious George, there's a whole book series on it. Curious George was curious. He wondered, what are they doing over there? Let's not be nosy and gossip though. Okay, ladies, especially my lady friends. but let's wonder. Let's not wonder about stuff that's not our business. Let's keep that there. But let's be people of wonder. Just for today, we're gonna wonder. Just wonder. Think about the word today. And I wonder what time you'll be listening tomorrow, because I will see you in the morning.
