The Phillies be the Pirates in a tight one thanks to Zack Wheeler's gem and Schwarber's bomb. On this day in 1984 the Phillies beat the Expos 6-4 with a pinch hit 2-run homer in the 9th inning of a game that Juan Samuel and Von Hayes started them off with back to back homers in the 1st. The 2000-01 Sixers have completed the final four of the Philly Sports Most Lovable Loser Tournament. They'll take on the 2022 Phillies tomorrow. Today it's the 2022 Eagles and the 1996-97 Flyers.
