THE NEXT GENERATION starts off looking like we’re getting a Texas Chainsaw version of Prom Night. Matthew McConaughey shows up with a robotic leg, Leatherface finds a dress, the Illuminati gets involved and whatever movie we thought we were watching packs its shit and leaves. There are bad movies that know exactly what they are, but this feels like everybody got a different script.
