Every person you feel deeply connected to needs rescuing, rebuilding, financing, motivating, forgiving, convincing, healing, or carrying.

They always have potential.

They are just going through something.

Nobody has ever loved them correctly.

And you keep believing that once they heal, become responsible, or finally see what you see in them, the relationship will become what you always hoped it could be.

But here is the harder question:

Would you still want them if there were nothing left for you to fix?
