Transcript
- 0:02Guys like the Madeline Soto case.
- 0:04We have a 13 year old girl who went missing and who is
- 0:12apparently connected in mysterious and suspicious ways
- 0:17to a grown man. Let's get started.
- 0:33This video contains mature themes and discussions intended
- 0:36only for adult audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
- 0:43Welcome back, my friend. Thank you very much for being
- 0:45here. For another true crime
- 0:47conversation with me on my channel.
- 0:50My name is Gavin Fish. Thanks for being here.
- 0:52If you're new, welcome. And if you're not, welcome back.
- 0:56Glad that you are here. I am kind of running on like
- 1:02running on empty here because I've it's been a busy day.
- 1:07As you guys know, we did the Ellen Greenberg hearing report a
- 1:11little bit earlier today. I just got off the live stream
- 1:14with Joel, my buddy over at Surviving the Survivor along
- 1:18with Tom Brennan talking about the Ellen Greenberg case.
- 1:22But, and I planned on talking about the case of Celeste Rivas
- 1:26Hernandez last night before the news broke about the report on
- 1:32the Ellen Greenberg case. So we meant to do this last
- 1:35night. We're doing it tonight.
- 1:36Don't think that because I pushed it from one night to the
- 1:40other that it's any less important.
- 1:42This is a 13 year old girl who went missing who was found in
- 1:48the well, she was found in the frunk of a Tesla.
- 1:53And there are questions. I have lots of questions and I'm
- 1:57sure you do too. If you have questions and you
- 2:00would like to be part of the conversation, please put GF in
- 2:05your comment. That will help me see it on the
- 2:08back end. No, GF does not mean girlfriend,
- 2:11it means Gavin Fish. I should have set that up so
- 2:16that it was like QQQ, right? Like like every other podcaster
- 2:21and YouTube in the world. But no, I was naive.
- 2:24I didn't know the way things were supposed to be done, and
- 2:27that's the way I did it. So we're just going to stick
- 2:29with it. OK, Let me just make sure that
- 2:33my technology is all set up. This is Robin.
- 2:43Robin is saying we may have to stop you from wearing Gray.
- 2:48I need some color, my dude. That's funny.
- 2:51I think I'm just going to keep the lamp like that because I
- 2:55don't trust my eyes. When I wear something, I don't
- 2:58trust my eyes to match it correctly.
- 3:01But that is pretty funny because I know that I know that you love
- 3:05that. I know that you love the the
- 3:08desk lamp, Heather, good to see you. 64 San Jose you you put GF
- 3:14correctly, but I need you to put your comment or question in
- 3:17there as well so that I can see it.
- 3:19And yeah, OK, it looks like we're in good shape there.
- 3:23Technology is working. We are going to dive in.
- 3:28All right, I have prepared this. Let's bring this up.
- 3:33We're going to bring this back up to remind you guys, by the
- 3:37way, with the, I guess the release of the Ellen Greenberg
- 3:42doc and the the information that has come out recently, I've had
- 3:52a lot of people supporting me on Patreon.
- 3:55One of the benefits of Patreon is that you get access to all
- 3:58the files on my website. So if that is if you are a file
- 4:03person, if you would like to get into the nitty gritty, if you
- 4:06like to get into documents and reports and stuff like that, my
- 4:10website's going to be a place that you are going to love.
- 4:15You know what, Let's see. Robin Bernardi, I will fix you.
- 4:20It's OK. That's funny.
- 4:22Kimberly does dress me. And in her defense, I have been
- 4:28resistant to her. But you guys know I'm turning
- 4:33over a new leaf. And so, yes, I will.
- 4:37I will be more open to what Kimberly asked me to do.
- 4:42Loogie. That's a great name.
- 4:46Loves the Gray. OK, good.
- 4:49And Bonnie, do I ever sleep? Indeed I do.
- 4:52I'm. I'm what I would call a
- 4:55professional grade sleeper. I'm just very, very good at it.
- 4:58I just sleep on different schedules than everybody else.
- 5:03OK, let's talk about this case just a little bit, guys.
- 5:07I've prepared this presentation. It's about 20 pages.
- 5:11I am hoping that you have questions that we can start
- 5:15looking for the answers for because unlike many of the cases
- 5:19that we follow here on this channel, there is Bupkis coming
- 5:23out of the LAPD in terms of anything, we don't have access
- 5:28to the search warrants. We there has not been an arrest
- 5:31that so there are no probable cause affidavits.
- 5:34This is while we're in what like week four or five of this
- 5:42precious little has ever come out.
- 5:44So we're just going to talk about this as it's been reported
- 5:48in the media, OK? Number one, Celeste Rivas was a
- 5:5213 year old girl when she went missing in April of last year.
- 6:00Now, reportedly she had gone missing three times, according
- 6:06to ABCLA, in 2024, this being the third time.
- 6:12So at the time of her disappearance, she was 13 years
- 6:15old. She was found on what would have
- 6:18been either the day before or the day after her 15th birthday.
- 6:24So we're talking about a young impressionable girl, one that
- 6:31maybe may have been somebody that was a little bit of a free
- 6:36spirit, maybe a little bit of an independent growing into a young
- 6:41woman. I don't know the circumstances
- 6:45under which she went missing so many times.
- 6:48She was a runaway or whatever. But this is this is what she
- 6:54this is who she was, OK. And to me, when I hear these
- 6:59kinds of things about such a young person, I just think that
- 7:05they are the perfect prey for would be predators.
- 7:10You know, we had Anna Sonoda on what, 3 weeks in a row to talk
- 7:14about preventing our children, our loved ones from being prey
- 7:22to predators And it to me it feels like this 13 year old
- 7:28child was, was just the perfect prey.
- 7:34This is just my opinion, right? Just the perfect prey.
- 7:38She was born from the best I can tell, near Lake Elsinore, CA
- 7:43Lake Elsinore is in the Inland Empire.
- 7:45It's in Riverside County. The Inland Empire is what is
- 7:49referred. They refer to the Inland Empire.
- 7:53OK, I've got to say things in English.
- 7:59Need to switch. Reverse the order of the
- 8:02sentence. OK Riverside County and San
- 8:05Bernardino counties are referred to as the Inland Empire.
- 8:09They are on the east side of the Los Angeles basin, going up into
- 8:16the foothills. So Lake Elsinore is right where
- 8:19I put that little, you know, yellow pointy penny thing almost
- 8:24due due east of Long Beach, so southeast of LA, so not far away
- 8:34from where she was found. Now the second person that's
- 8:38involved in this is a man named David Anthony Burke.
- 8:40He goes by the stage name spelled D4 VD.
- 8:43It's pronounced David. Mr. Burke is a Houston born
- 8:51artist who is known for his viral hit Romantic Homicide.
- 8:56Now you guys are going to have to forgive me, but I could not,
- 9:01I could not bring myself to listen to modern music,
- 9:06especially one called Romantic Homicide, especially in light
- 9:11that we have a homicide here. Well, I believe we have a
- 9:13homicide here. We'll get to that.
- 9:16But I'm sure he is a talented young, young artist with musical
- 9:19tastes different than my own. He rose to fame through social
- 9:24media, through Tiktok, through YouTube.
- 9:27He eventually signed to Interscope, to a label under the
- 9:32Interscope management, right to a brand of the label.
- 9:35So by about halfway through this year, this guy's star was
- 9:41rising. He was living in a four and a
- 9:44half million dollar home in the Hollywood Hills.
- 9:47He had, he was touring. He had brand sponsorships.
- 9:53He had, I mean, this guy, this guy's star was on the rise.
- 9:58Now since and we'll get into a few details about this, since
- 10:04his car was discovered with the body of Young Miss, young Miss
- 10:13Rivas Hernandez, those a lot of those brand partnerships have
- 10:18been pulled while the investigation is ongoing.
- 10:22It is important to note here guys that right now while it is
- 10:26being investigated as a homicide, we don't know that we
- 10:31have a homicide here. There's lots of speculation
- 10:34online. I've been trying to keep this
- 10:37presentation to just what we know, not what people speculate
- 10:44about. Are you guys having problems
- 10:46with sound? Let me let me just somebody says
- 10:52sound is is good. Some say sound is bad, but OK,
- 10:57it looks look, I'm going to pull it back a little bit so I'm not
- 10:59clipping there. That probably is a little bit
- 11:01better. OK, So we're keeping to what we
- 11:05know, OK, not what people are talking about on, I don't know,
- 11:12TikTok and stuff like that. I am reminded of little Why am I
- 11:18blinking? Give me a second baby.
- 11:20Emmanuel Harrow, who the the police are just angry at all of
- 11:28those that that go all over social media doing all sports
- 11:32sorts of speculation. We do not engage in speculation
- 11:36very often here. OK, what are we doing?
- 11:40We're going to go next. Dude, give me a second.
- 11:45OK, All right. So was there a link?
- 11:50Besides the obvious of Miss Rivas Hernandez being found, her
- 11:56remains being found in a car either owned or leased by Mr.
- 12:01Burke? Police have not confirmed any
- 12:07personal or professional connection between the two.
- 12:13Some online sleuths that I've seen on Tiktok I've seen on
- 12:16Facebook have claimed to have found images showing Mr. Burke
- 12:22with a young woman believed to be Miss Rivas Hernandez.
- 12:28But like, her face is always conveniently covered, so it's
- 12:33impossible to know if there was a connection between the two.
- 12:38Now, one of the things that I don't think that I looked up is
- 12:42how old is Mr. Burke? He's 20.
- 12:49OK, So he would be 5 years the senior of Miss Rivas Hernandez.
- 13:00There are some rumors that suggest that Celeste appeared in
- 13:05some of Mr. Burke's live stream chats before her disappearance,
- 13:09though none of that, at least to my satisfaction, is verified.
- 13:12I haven't seen any reports from reputable news sources that have
- 13:17said that. It's just rumor at this point.
- 13:21Investigators have not. They've not released any
- 13:26information that we can rely upon, at least to my standards,
- 13:29that the two are linked, other than what I said before, which
- 13:34is the fact that her remains were found in his car.
- 13:39But we do know from the LAPD that his phones, his hard
- 13:45drives, his computers were seized as part of the
- 13:48investigation. I'm sure that they're working to
- 13:51figure out if there is a connection between the two.
- 13:57OK, so a little bit of a timeline and I did this kind of
- 14:00weird. We're going to start with this
- 14:02timeline, but I'm, I'm going to like, I'm going to kind of salt
- 14:06and pepper in some other parts of the timeline.
- 14:09OK, All right. So in Lake Elsinore, April 5th,
- 14:142025, she's already gone missing twice in 2024, in the four
- 14:18months, not even four months, the three months plus five days
- 14:23of 2024, Miss Rivas Hernandez went missing.
- 14:27And the last one was on April 5th out of Lake Elsinore, there
- 14:32in the Inland Empire, southwest of Los Angeles, southwest of
- 14:37Hollywood, where her body was eventually found.
- 14:42She was missing guys for more than two years.
- 14:46But on August 27th of this year, a Tesla Model SI think it was a
- 14:52Model S We'll look at a picture here in a second.
- 14:54I think it's a Model S registered to Mr. Burke received
- 14:57a parking ticket in the Hollywood Hills.
- 15:00It was reported that there were multiple parking tickets and on
- 15:06September 3rd, it was towed to an impound lot down in
- 15:10Hollywood, down on the valley floor where it was put into a
- 15:17lot. Within a few days, workers are
- 15:20smelling something funky. We all know, Well, maybe not all
- 15:24of us, but here we're in Pennsylvania where our our state
- 15:29animal is roadkill. We all know the smell of
- 15:33decomposing remains. To my nose, animals and humans
- 15:37are the same. I know that to other creatures
- 15:41that have been created and put on this earth, they are
- 15:43different, but the tow yard, the workers are saying this is
- 15:50getting a little bit funky and they go to investigate.
- 15:53They pop the franc, which is a kitchy little way of referring
- 15:59to the storage area in the underneath where the hood is on
- 16:06a Tesla Model S where in a petrol powered car the engine
- 16:11would be. They open it up and they
- 16:15discover the remains. Police are called, They do an
- 16:19investigation. Miss Rivas Hernandez, her
- 16:23remains are identified by dental records and the cause and manner
- 16:31of death was deferred saying basically the Emmy is saying we
- 16:36need more investigation to figure this out.
- 16:39But what they haven't done is release the autopsy report.
- 16:46Now, keep in mind that this is not Florida.
- 16:49This is not Idaho. This is not Minnesota and or
- 16:54Kentucky or the myriad other states that do their best to be
- 16:58transparent. This is California where they
- 17:00don't believe in such things. So whether it will be released
- 17:04or not, it it's more likely that it won't be released.
- 17:08But anyway, it was the 16th of last month that Celeste her that
- 17:15she was identified OK the following day.
- 17:21The following day, police execute a search warrant up in
- 17:26the Hollywood Hills to a residence that is leased by Mr.
- 17:29Burke. And then I just added in there
- 17:34couple things. There was a public vigil in Lake
- 17:36Elsinore in late September. Also, Mr. Burke cancelled his
- 17:40tour. And her funeral was held about a
- 17:44week ago yesterday there in Rowland Heights in the Inland
- 17:50Empire. Yes.
- 17:52So well, actually I can't tell if that that actually looks like
- 17:55a Model X to me, but I have a hard time seeing that and being
- 18:02able to tell though I am familiar with with the product
- 18:07line. OK, So what we learned is that
- 18:10this Tesla had multiple parking tickets before it was towed from
- 18:14a Hollywood Hills street near a mansion.
- 18:17I don't know if it's a mansion or not that people refer to it
- 18:21as a mansion. Let let me just say it costs a
- 18:23lot of money. Four and a half million dollar
- 18:26house and yeah, it's a big house.
- 18:29It's a nice house. It's up in the Hollywood Hills.
- 18:31It's being rented or leased. I've heard it both ways by Mr.
- 18:36Burke. Course again, he is on an upward
- 18:40trajectory. He's earning all sorts of money.
- 18:43Of course, he's living in a $4 million place now.
- 18:49I had to move to Pennsylvania. It doesn't matter.
- 18:52OK, we we know that the tow yard staff discovered the body.
- 18:57These are actual. This is an actual image from
- 19:01either a drone or a helicopter showing the investigation into
- 19:07into the discovery of the remains the this parking lot was
- 19:12near Mansfield Ave. and Romaine St. in Hollywood just like right
- 19:16in the middle of Hollywood's area of the valley.
- 19:20OK, and because it was a suspicious death, it was taken
- 19:25over. The investigation was taken over
- 19:27by L as robbery homicide division, which is so famous
- 19:32starting probably what was dragnet and it they're they are
- 19:38they are the homicide guys and gals in LA.
- 19:42All right, what we know of her body from what has been released
- 19:48is that it was in an in an advanced state of decomposition.
- 19:52What we don't know is exactly how long she was in the brunk of
- 19:56that Tesla, but police said that they believe that she had been
- 20:00dead for several weeks. Again, we learned that her
- 20:04identification was made through dental records and that the
- 20:08cause and manner of death is deferred.
- 20:10What that means is that we don't know that we have a homicide
- 20:14here. There are other possibilities
- 20:18that we can talk about other than homicide that that could be
- 20:24crimes here could there could be charges, but we don't know
- 20:30exactly how she died or whether it was accidental self-inflicted
- 20:38homicide, natural, which I doubt with a 15 year old girl or you
- 20:45know, or a homicide. So there are a couple things
- 20:51that we have learned are that the LAPD has described the
- 20:57circumstances of her death as suspicious.
- 21:01Again, Oh, the Emmy is not said. It's the LA County coroner's
- 21:05office. They they have pathologists.
- 21:07So I probably am using medical examiner incorrectly, but the
- 21:10forensic pathologist at least has not determined the cause and
- 21:14manner pending toxicology and Histology tests.
- 21:19So Histology, I'm going to get this really bad as far as
- 21:23definitionally, but it is basically the examination of
- 21:29tissue samples and so forth, right.
- 21:32So a histological exam of a burn victim might be skin tissue
- 21:39which is stabilized and looked at layer by layer to see, you
- 21:43know, how deep the the burns go, those kinds of things.
- 21:47Those are, that's histological examination.
- 21:51Toxicology, of course, is the toxicity of the blood and other
- 21:55fluids within the body. In this case, I would imagine
- 21:58that they're probably not testing as much blood, but
- 22:02decompositional fluids are probably what they're testing
- 22:06mostly. So until that determination
- 22:10comes in, this is not going to be classified as a homicide.
- 22:18They need to, they need to do some more digging first.
- 22:20Now Mr. Burke from what I understand is, well, he's saying
- 22:26he's cooperating with the investigation.
- 22:30I would imagine that somebody that has that that much on the
- 22:35line for himself, his family and all of the other leeches that
- 22:41are in succubi that are attached to him as he builds his career.
- 22:47I would imagine that he's getting advice from legal
- 22:50counsel. So I don't know how much he is
- 22:55he is cooperating. To what extent.
- 22:58It could be that he is fully cooperative.
- 23:00It could be that he's lawyered up and they're telling him to
- 23:05shut the mouth. So I don't know.
- 23:08But we do know on the 17th, as I said before, that a search
- 23:11warrant was executed on this Hollywood Hills residence where
- 23:15he was leasing it. We know that again, phones,
- 23:19laptops, drives, recording equipment was seized and is
- 23:24being analyzed for any link to Celeste or to her timeline.
- 23:30And again, we do know that the residence was not owned by Mr.
- 23:34Burke. So as far as kind of fallout, he
- 23:40has cancelled all of his tour dates, he's paused any music
- 23:45promotion brands have pulled out from from sponsoring him,
- 23:52partnering with him. And one of the things that I
- 23:56found interesting is that fans and critics alike are really
- 24:00taking a look at his song lyrics and, you know, trying to find
- 24:05anything that might be imagery that could indicate that this
- 24:12young man might have a predilection for homicide.
- 24:18Again, a lot of that is speculative, right?
- 24:20So it's not something that I really want to get into, but
- 24:23that's what's happening. I did see an article from the
- 24:26Daily Mail that police that said police are analyzing potential
- 24:32previous contact between Celeste and Mr. Burke.
- 24:37It does not have very much verified information.
- 24:43Again, there are some online photos that seem to show Celeste
- 24:50with Mr. Burke, but there's been no confirmation out of law
- 24:55enforcement that I have been able to find.
- 24:57Maybe you guys are yelling at me right now.
- 24:59I need to get to your comments. In fact, this is this is a good
- 25:06time to do that. Let's maybe you guys know more
- 25:09than I do, but there are, there are lots of theories that are
- 25:13being bandied about and, you know, just, I guess, debated
- 25:18online. Could, could she been, have been
- 25:21a victim of trafficking? And I of course it's possible,
- 25:27right? When we have conversations with
- 25:30Elizabeth Jones, we talk a lot about what trafficking is and it
- 25:34is not what we think sometimes it is this whole idea of
- 25:40kidnapping all these people, putting them in a container and
- 25:42shipping them across the sea kind of stuff.
- 25:44It can be done much, much easier than that.
- 25:47So certainly it is it's possible, but there are lots of
- 25:56lots of possibilities. Couple of things that I am like
- 26:01Woods Whisper. This one did not have GF in it
- 26:04but this is a great comment. She was too eager to be a grown
- 26:07up and she paid the ultimate price for it.
- 26:09So sad. This reminds me it does.
- 26:11It reminds me of like Jocelyn Nungary.
- 26:15It's just. I mean, the purpose of the
- 26:18channel here is for us to learn and grow, not for us to be
- 26:23scared into cowering into corners and not letting our
- 26:27children outside and stuff like that.
- 26:29But we want to grow. And I, and I remember being 13,
- 26:33I remember it very well. You'd think that you know
- 26:37everything and you, you're right, you're stretching to be a
- 26:41grown up. You know, the irony there is
- 26:44that once you're a grown up, you're like, dude, it'd be so
- 26:48great to be a kid. But I agree with you.
- 26:52Woods whisper that that does seem to be what is the case
- 26:56here. Let's see, they reported she was
- 27:03last seen in September because residents exterior door got
- 27:08video. I I had read that as well, but I
- 27:10didn't see any confirmation of that.
- 27:13Don Louise is asking how unusual is it for the police to keep so
- 27:17quiet in any other cases recently where it has been
- 27:20treated the same, especially with the public interest.
- 27:23OK, so for me, Don, this boils down to the location.
- 27:29What was the name of the young woman?
- 27:32I'm Hannah. Hannah.
- 27:38Was it Kobayashi? I got that wrong.
- 27:43Let me see. Hannah Yeah.
- 27:49Hannah Kobayashi. Yeah.
- 27:51Remember, Hannah Kobayashi was in the LA area too, and that was
- 27:57that one was unique in that they were releasing some things, but
- 28:03it was an active missing person case in California.
- 28:06Homicide cases are tight lipped there.
- 28:11California does not have the same transparency laws that many
- 28:18of other States and commonwealths in the country
- 28:20have. Florida is like, to me, the gold
- 28:24standard of of transparency in government.
- 28:33Let's see this comment from Complaiserte.
- 28:38Have you noticed that the Four and David strangely seems
- 28:42connected, part of Cross of Endless, the symbol used by
- 28:46shooters like Robert Cremo and 3rd Robin Westman, as if it's
- 28:50part of their evil cult? I had not noticed that.
- 28:53I has not noticed that. I had wondered why.
- 28:55I mean, I kind of felt like he was just doing it that way to be
- 29:00cool. I mean, I, I use a digit in my
- 29:06name and an e-mail address that I have.
- 29:10So I hadn't thought about it. But thank you very much.
- 29:12I appreciate the Super chat. Robin says my daughter has done
- 29:21body removal. And she said that animal and
- 29:23human decoms smell differently. Yeah, I bet to a trained to a
- 29:26trained sniffer they do. I I have done body removal
- 29:33exactly one time in my life. I think I've told you that
- 29:36story. I was, I was interviewing our
- 29:39county coroner when she got called to a scene for a manhood
- 29:45people hadn't heard from for a week.
- 29:47It was sad to me. It smelled very much like
- 29:54roadkill. But yeah, I'm I am not trained.
- 29:59See if there's Scorpion says. I don't think it's a front due
- 30:06to it being a Tesla. There are other gas vehicles
- 30:08with a front. Indeed, indeed, I stand
- 30:10corrected. One of my favorite cars of all
- 30:13time, for example the Porsche 9/11.
- 30:15In fact any mid engine or rear engine car is that way.
- 30:19Volkswagen Beetle. You're right, you are right.
- 30:22I guess I just never heard the term frunk until until Tesla.
- 30:28I think it's I think it's just a kitschy thing, Autumn says.
- 30:33My voice is not matching my mouth.
- 30:36I don't know if there's anything that I can do about that on them
- 30:39other than restarting YouTube. So thanks.
- 30:45Don says Jennifer Coffendaffer, ex FBI, tried getting her
- 30:49husband to get her in her Tesla franc in a bag and she's says
- 30:54there's no way a body not dismembered would fit in.
- 30:59That was interesting to watch. OK, I love Jen.
- 31:03OK, But I have a photo of three children in the front of my
- 31:11Model S, which was a business car that I back in 2015 and they
- 31:20were, I don't know, it was, it was two of our children and one
- 31:25of our children's friends. I think they must have been 12
- 31:31or 13. Let's see, in 2015 they would
- 31:33have been 11, I guess. So 211 year olds and a 10 year
- 31:38old or a nine year old. I was able to fit into the brunk
- 31:42of a Tesla Model S. So, and I know that there are
- 31:46rumors out there And so I, I'm, I'm not being disagreeable, just
- 31:50I'm not disagreeing with you for the sake of being disagreeable.
- 31:53I'm just saying I don't know. I mean, I've, I've got a photo
- 31:57of it, but there are there are rumors out there of
- 32:04dismemberment. I've read a couple of of
- 32:08articles that have that have theorized that.
- 32:15And, and Jen, by the way, is an amazing investigator.
- 32:18So and somebody I really like and and respect.
- 32:22So, yeah, maybe she's right for a person her size and she's not
- 32:28that big. She's she's tiny girl Lucy Fair.
- 32:32I hung out with adult men starting when I was 13 and
- 32:34didn't realize how horrible it was until I was in my 30s.
- 32:38Told myself I was just grown up for my age but I know now I was
- 32:42taken advantage of 100%. Yeah, that is that is correct
- 32:48and I'm glad that you are safe. Very glad that you are safe.
- 32:53Snarky pants says GF always means girlfriend.
- 32:56That's funny. OK, so we've caught up on your
- 32:58comments. Let's head on back to the old
- 33:04presentation, shall we? All right, so again, we don't
- 33:09know. There are no substantiated
- 33:11theories coming out of the police yet, at least to my
- 33:14knowledge as of about 5:00 this afternoon.
- 33:18When I finished this up on September 22nd, there was a
- 33:22candlelight vigil held in Lake Elsinore.
- 33:25The the community gathered to celebrate her life.
- 33:29They definitely want to put pressure on the LAPD to solve
- 33:33this and I do think that there is truth to needing sometimes to
- 33:41put pressure on law enforcement agencies.
- 33:45I think for the most part, people who work in
- 33:49investigations of homicides and Major Crimes do have it in them
- 33:55to want to solve cases, but often times they could be
- 34:00Hanford by the political winds that are blowing in their
- 34:04communities. I guess let's say the leadership
- 34:09wins. I it's not a political thing,
- 34:12meaning like I guess a partisan politics, but it is part of the
- 34:16body politic, right? The the things that are
- 34:20happening in the community. So I think that they are Hanford
- 34:22sometimes. And so doing these kinds of
- 34:25things I think do make law enforcement act.
- 34:30For example, the baby Emmanuel Harrow still kills me to have to
- 34:36say Harrow because I get I get the tongue lashing.
- 34:40Well, the typewritten lashing if I say Arrow or Otto, which is
- 34:45the natural way for me to say it.
- 34:46But anyway, posters and candles at the vigil said things like
- 34:54justice for Celeste. She deserved better and local
- 34:58officials have pledged to support the investigation.
- 35:02But local officials are officials.
- 35:04They they will say anything. On the 6th, there was a funeral
- 35:09held at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights.
- 35:12The family thanked supporters and asked for privacy.
- 35:14Loved ones continue to demand transparency from law
- 35:17enforcement, which I don't think that they're going to get, but I
- 35:20wish they would continue doing that.
- 35:22A GoFundMe campaign raised funds for funeral expenses and a
- 35:25memorial scholarship. I could not find an active
- 35:28GoFundMe campaign, but that doesn't mean it's not there.
- 35:31Just in my, in my research, I did not find it.
- 35:35Now the last few slides. I just want to, I want as a
- 35:40community, you and me to, to establish, I guess, or to think
- 35:46of some things that we should be on the lookout for.
- 35:49OK, the main thing for me is that we still don't have a cause
- 35:55and manner of death out of the LA coroner's office.
- 36:00So we don't know if this is a homicide, an overdose, which
- 36:07would fall under accident. We don't know if it is a natural
- 36:15death, though. I think that we can probably
- 36:17rule that out pretty safely. You know what I mean?
- 36:20So we, we need to wait from, to hear from the LA County
- 36:25coroner's office. I do think if they come back
- 36:29with something other than homicide, I think the, I think
- 36:34the community would be pretty outraged like that, outraged by
- 36:38that. But again, toxicology reports or
- 36:42results could, could, I guess, show was there alcohol, drugs,
- 36:53any type of like trafficking drug, like, right?
- 36:57What is it right now? I think I'm mispronouncing that,
- 37:00correct? Other things involved, right?
- 37:02So we need those toxicology reports.
- 37:05Those findings will basically decide whether the case becomes
- 37:09a homicide or some other manage of deaths or manner of death.
- 37:13So we need to keep our eyes open for that.
- 37:17There's there will be some legal developments over the last.
- 37:22Well, let's see, I'll get to that part.
- 37:24There could be some legal developments.
- 37:26There could be charges coming to Mr. Burke or to perhaps somebody
- 37:33in his inner circle or to somebody not even remotely
- 37:37related or connected to Mr. Burke.
- 37:40It's so many different things are possible.
- 37:43I think the probability is the the main suspect is Mr. Burke.
- 37:48But yeah, those those charges could include all the way up to
- 37:52homicide. It could be, you know, well, I
- 37:56put on here in proper disposal of a body in the Commonwealth of
- 38:01Pennsylvania, we call that abuse of corpse.
- 38:07It's kind of an outdated term, but that is the legal term for
- 38:10it. Could be obstruction charges,
- 38:14could be, you know, hindering investigation charges, something
- 38:18like that. So even if the cause of death is
- 38:21uncertain, depending on other evidence, there could be charges
- 38:26pending there. I don't know and there's no
- 38:31indication so far. The only reason I put this last
- 38:36bullet point in is that he was a touring artist.
- 38:42So if if there was a connection between Mr. Burke and Celeste
- 38:49and she went on the road with him, or I was thinking even if
- 38:54he was on the road and they were communicating and we're looking
- 38:58at Interstate Commerce Clause here, there could be some
- 39:02federal charges as well. But there's no indication yet
- 39:06that that is the truth. That is just what people have
- 39:09been speculating about. And then this one was very
- 39:14interesting to me because just a couple days ago, news broke that
- 39:19Mister Burke has transferred some properties in Texas into
- 39:26his mother's name and that he did it last month.
- 39:29Now, what does that mean? Because that could all be undone
- 39:33if if he were, for example, to be found civilly responsible,
- 39:40that all could be undone. But it may suggest that he's
- 39:44like, oh, I've got to protect some assets.
- 39:47It could also mean that he's just like, hey, I want to give
- 39:49mom a house. I it's hard to say, but the
- 39:54timing is suspicious, right? And it, and that timing warrants
- 40:00scrutiny by the public, by the media, by the police, and it
- 40:04could of course, foreshadow some of that civil litigation that I
- 40:08was talking about. A little bit more to watch out
- 40:12for is industry fallout, like a person like Mr. Burke, who I
- 40:20keep using this terminology, but whose star is on the rise.
- 40:24He will be. There will be so many people
- 40:28latching onto him. Managers and partners and agents
- 40:34and lawyers and groupies and roadies and backup singers and
- 40:42dancers and other musicians. There will be so many people
- 40:46whose livings, I, I guess not in the case of groupies, but so
- 40:50many people whose livings are tied to his success that they, I
- 41:00think there could be big fallout, I guess is what I'm
- 41:03saying right now. It also could be that this guy
- 41:07is completely innocent and because he she, her remains were
- 41:13found in his car, he is suffering the consequences of of
- 41:21being being presumed guilty by the public when he might
- 41:26actually be innocent. And I'm just saying this for the
- 41:29sake of devil's advocate, right? Just looking at it both ways,
- 41:32putting our skeptical bowlers on, you know what I need to do?
- 41:36I need to buy a bowler, my skeptical bowlers, because I've
- 41:40always thought that my skeptical hat is a bowler.
- 41:44I need to buy a bowler and put it on a hat rack in the back,
- 41:46don't I? I definitely need to do that.
- 41:49OK, but anyway, so his label, his management, they're staying
- 41:53publicly silent. I'm sure in the back that you
- 41:56know, out of the public view, they're scrambling.
- 42:01There has been a growing backlash, especially excuse me,
- 42:08yes, I'm tired. This is my third video of the
- 42:10day, especially on TikTok. There's been a growing backlash.
- 42:18There has been, in my opinion, a shift in the narrative on social
- 42:24media from, wow, this is a crazy celebrity scandal that we need
- 42:28to keep our eye on to wait a minute, let's remember our
- 42:32victim here. And we need justice for this
- 42:35victim. So we're starting to see that
- 42:37evolution happen. And I don't even think starting,
- 42:41I think that evolution has happened and that will cause
- 42:45even more pressure on the business people, on the succubi
- 42:53and leeches in his life and also all of the brands and all of the
- 42:58companies that would be attached to him as they kind of scatter
- 43:03like, well, I don't want to call them cockroaches when I already
- 43:07called them succubus. But you guys know what I'm
- 43:11saying, right? OK, so my key takeaways here,
- 43:16and I think this is my last slide.
- 43:18Yeah, my key takeaways here is that a 15 year old girl's death
- 43:23inside a celebrity's car is unexplained.
- 43:27We don't know. Is this a homicide?
- 43:30Is this an accident? Is this an overdose?
- 43:33Is this whatever it is? We don't know, and we won't know
- 43:38until the cause and manner of death are determined.
- 43:41I think the investigation probably is ongoing in so many
- 43:47different realms of forensics, financial, you know, financial
- 43:54and digital forensics, physical evidence, that kind of stuff.
- 44:00Again, we still don't have a connection between Mr. Burke and
- 44:04Celeste. There are all sorts of rumors
- 44:08out there, but we don't know for sure yet.
- 44:10So as the case continues to evolve, we will I think
- 44:14hopefully see more public pressure intensify as as that
- 44:21happens. That is what we know so far of
- 44:26the the case of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
- 44:33Let's see what you guys are saying.
- 44:35I'm going to. I'll keep this one up.
- 44:37OK. Let's get this refresh fad on my
- 44:43back end. Don Louise says I don't know.
- 44:52Either way, like you, I wait for official details.
- 44:54Yeah, I I like documents, man. Definitely.
- 45:03Let's see. Danny has been packing.
- 45:09You don't need to be sorry. Well, you don't say sorry, but
- 45:12you can just watch from the beginning and have fun couple of
- 45:17Let's see Yeah. Oh, this is interesting.
- 45:22Yeah. So heard that Tesla has cameras
- 45:24and will take photos of anyone outside of the car that either
- 45:28gets too close or touches it. This is true.
- 45:31It it depends on the year, but basically anything that has self
- 45:36driving capability has a vast array of cameras and sensors
- 45:45that do record when somebody is close by.
- 45:48So I would imagine that. Oh man, I'm glad you brought
- 45:52that up. I didn't it didn't even occur to
- 45:53me. Of course the Tesla I drove was
- 45:56before that time. It's been a while, but yeah, I I
- 46:03would imagine that if I would imagine there is some type of
- 46:08video footage of Celeste being put into that franc.
- 46:13Great comment. Goodness sake.
- 46:17Don Louise says his silence is deafening.
- 46:20Deafening. Yes, he will be advised to keep
- 46:22quiet, but nothing at all is strange.
- 46:25Not even a statement from his lawyer.
- 46:27Yeah, I haven't. You're right.
- 46:28I haven't seen anything from his management, his lawyer, other
- 46:33than he he is what it was that he's what is the word that I'm
- 46:42looking at. He's helping with the OR he's
- 46:46open to the he's cooperating. Dang it.
- 46:49That took three tries. Oh, we've got a question about
- 46:56Ellen. Let me see.
- 46:57Yeah, this is our last one. So why don't we, Lucy?
- 47:01Fair Gavin. Not related to the case, but
- 47:08Speaking of timing, was it normal for Sam to work out in
- 47:11the building's gym? Like how decided the day of
- 47:15Ellen's death? OK, I will tell you my opinion.
- 47:19Here's the deal. The Philly police who
- 47:22investigated this case sucked at investigating this case.
- 47:27They were having a bad day, bad week, bad month, bad year.
- 47:30I don't know, but they did not get any previous day's video
- 47:41footage from the Lofts apartments, the Venice Lofts, so
- 47:46we don't know. However, looking at Sam, to me
- 47:54he does not look like a gym rat. And I know that's rich coming
- 48:00from this face, this round face, right?
- 48:02But to me he doesn't seem like a guy who spent a lot of time in
- 48:07the gym. Seemed a little little soft man.
- 48:13Walk down the street said why am I soft in the middle now?
- 48:17Anyway? Yeah, that's what I think.
- 48:21If you guys have any other questions about Ellen, I'm happy
- 48:23to just say it. That's funny.
- 48:32Yeah, looks like looks like we are LED done for the evening,
- 48:38which is fine because we're almost well, we're 50 minutes
- 48:41here. I started late, so it's and it's
- 48:46been a busy day. So tomorrow, guys, tomorrow my
- 48:49plan is 1. I am going to be on with Josh
- 48:57Ritter over at Courtroom Confidential.
- 49:00His normal time is 8:00 PM, right, 8:00 PM Eastern Time,
- 49:065:00 PM Pacific. So that is my plan for tomorrow.
- 49:13And so I'm going to be bumping my live stream up a little bit
- 49:17early. I have to talk with Sandy
- 49:21because I don't know if Sandy's yet going to be up for it.
- 49:25But the plan was to have Sandy and Josh on my program tomorrow.
- 49:31I will talk to them. I will call them tonight.
- 49:33I I can't guarantee that I will talk to them, but that was my
- 49:37plan for tomorrow. If not, I've got something else
- 49:41that I will bring you to talk about.
- 49:43Couple things. Let's see Lucifer asking again
- 49:51about Ellen. What about in her phone records?
- 49:54Wouldn't there be text kind of indicating he was working out?
- 49:56Nothing jumped out at me. I have all of her phone records,
- 50:00all of her text records from the last three years of her life,
- 50:09and maybe a little more. I think about it.
- 50:12Let's look. We can look.
- 50:19I have this here. So the first, oh, that's the
- 50:37phone location dump. Give me a second.
- 50:46Yeah. So call history.
- 50:48I have way back to, I don't know, that's that's from
- 50:54something else that's call history.
- 51:05Yeah, I think it's a good well, I think it's a good three years.
- 51:13Nothing jumped out at me, I'll say that.
- 51:21Valerie Dahl Gavin, if he's no longer cooperating with police
- 51:24entirely his option. It seems that this will be a
- 51:26slow investigation of devices, apps and proof of locations
- 51:29after warrants are approved. I agree.
- 51:32I agree. OK, so that's the we're calling
- 51:36it. Calling it.
- 51:38We will just do the obligatory just announcements for tomorrow.
- 51:42I will be on live tomorrow, but it'll probably be early and I
- 51:45will be on with Josh on courtroom confidential.
- 51:48I'll get that out all to my socials tomorrow morning.
- 51:51So yeah, busy day. Tomorrow is a busy day today,
- 51:53but we keep busy, busy, busy here.
- 51:56And I appreciate that you come around to witness my busyness
- 52:02and to talk with me and chat with me.
- 52:04And it's it's pretty great. So thank you very much.
- 52:07If you want to chat more, head on over to the Fish tank.
- 52:14Let's see. One way to talk to me actually
- 52:16is to go in over to my website, gavinfish.com.
- 52:19You can get access to all sorts of documents.
- 52:21Those of you who are Patreon supporters, you have unfettered
- 52:25access to all the documents in my case files.
- 52:28Also, if you click on this little fishy here, that will
- 52:30take you to where we chat online on Facebook in the fish tank.
- 52:35So you're always, always, always welcome there.
- 52:38And with that, guys, I am calling it a night.
- 52:41I bid you adieu. I'll see you on the next one.
- 52:46Take care of yourselves till tomorrow.
- 52:47Thank you very much for watching this video video.
