- Thomas: So if if Le if LeBron, let's let's do the scenario. Not that we're those type of podcasts, right? But I'm gonna do the scenario. If LeBron James just robbed a bank and knocked over a stroller and you saw all this, the baby fell out the stroller in the street, he's running with a bag of money down the street, you're about to get in your car, he runs up to you and says, He said, Hey bro, hey bro, I need your car. Are you giving him the keys? Or are you trying to hold him up until the cops get there? What are you doing? Malcolm: I ain't gonna lie, bro. I mean, I I I'll go put the baby back in the stroller, bro. I I I'll I'll I'll I'll handle the baby. Yeah. Thomas: So you're gonna give him the keys and then go get the baby. Malcolm: Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. Yeah. Fabron, yeah, I ain't gonna lie, bro. Like it's it's really that. And if if we're being a hundred too, like who who am I that you think I'm holding up LeBron James? Yeah, nah, stay here. Stay stay right here. You kidding me? Thomas: You know what type of payout you'll get if LeBron James assaults you? Malcolm: I don't know man. I mean if he's robbing a bank, he clearly like money's clearly tight, so I don't think it's gonna be much payout going on. But I'm saying me personally, like, I'll take care of the baby bro, but like, yeah, no, bro like Brian cool with my Thomas: You're you'll go to prison for aiding and abetting. You're you're okay, but I brought up Brown because that's how some people acting about this dirt thing, right? It's Malcolm: yeah no a hundred percent. But this thing is they're not joking though. Like like like they're like people genuinely think they're OTF, bro. Like like the pe the people with OTF tatted Thomas: Those you are not good at. Malcolm: on them and you're like from Virginia, it's like Thomas: I hate when I see people OTF tests. I'm like, bro, you, you, if you go to Chicago, if you go to those areas where the people actually involved in this stuff live, you will be extorted. Or not extorted. I'm not gonna say the people are like that. Let me not speak on the people. I don't know the people. My apologies. No disrespect. You will not be good over there. They're not gonna see you and dap you up and give you hugs and money and everything. And like, stuff is. Crazy. And also, we even see people who are OTF like are turning on them. So it's like, even it goes back to the Malcolm: 'Cause it's like Thomas: what's that Gilly and Wallow with a million dollars worth of game, the intro where they they had back again and he had a million dollars on the table. Malcolm: Uh-huh. Thomas: It's like, and I heard another podcast talking about this. Dirk is making all this money. Everybody's not making all that, even if he's paying you to do certain things, like he's putting, he's paying your bills to like. Help him with this, help him with that, you know, be in the music videos, wherever the case is, he's paying you. He's still the breadwinner. So it's like everyone who is involved or knows him, they're not necessarily eating good. But then again, that falls back on you because you're putting your livelihood on another man. At least those guys are getting paid for it. For all the people out there doing it for free, I don't know. That's a choice. Malcolm: what I'm saying bro. It's a like I say i it's a very like depending on who you talk to it's some people that will really argue argue you down about this and like really like go to war about Dirk bro. I'm not one of those people. yeah, I don't know. Like I I I just think it's a little insane bro. Yeah, I I don't know. Like I said, I w I'll I'll, you know, kinda see. Like, I mean, I'm not gonna be like any more invested in like looking for up day to day updates on the case, but like, you know, I'd be interested to see how the second trial goes. But I I just hope that, you know, as a community that you know one day we we we learn to kind of like just prioritize the things that should be prioritized, and know how Thomas: Mm-hmm. Malcolm: to like like we have to know. like what to celebrate and what to put our energy towards and how to like like like take stuff at at face value and understand like even though this is this is a an artist I enjoy and I really like, I can understand and be mature enough and intelligent enough to understand that like that the message and the implications of him beating or not beating a case, what that means, you know, for a broader audience in the community, like how that affects us.
