- 0:20Speaker 1: We help you shed the shame, grow to a new level.
- 0:23Speaker 1: We're gonna laugh, cry, and talk about the topics everyone
- 0:26Speaker 1: else is too afraid to talk about.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Get ready for your next level of self.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Welcome to another episode guys todaybe are we talking about
- 0:34Speaker 1: feeling stuck the thing unfulfilled, Like you're not making progress
- 0:38Speaker 1: and you're just in a bit of a rut, which
- 0:39Speaker 1: we have all being through before. So we want to
- 0:42Speaker 1: talk about what that feels like, the things to look
- 0:44Speaker 1: out for and how to kind of crawl you away
- 0:46Speaker 1: out of that.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we want to give you some tools, some mindset tools,
- 0:49Speaker 2: some little things that you can implement to really help
- 0:51Speaker 2: you come out of that place and to just feel
- 0:53Speaker 2: like your fine, not playful, light self again. Like sometimes
- 0:57Speaker 2: life gets a little bit heavy. We want to help
- 0:59Speaker 2: you bring more lightness, more play back into everyday life.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so let's start from the beginning. If you feel stuck,
- 1:06Speaker 1: I know for me it's when I feel dead inside
- 1:08Speaker 1: and I'm not making progress. When I wake up and
- 1:10Speaker 1: I'm like, fuck, I don't want to get up, I
- 1:12Speaker 1: can't bothered, I don't know what I'm doing. I procrastinate,
- 1:14Speaker 1: I feel like my to do list is massive, I
- 1:16Speaker 1: feel overwhelmed, I don't know where to start, and I
- 1:18Speaker 1: just feel like I'm in a funk. The first thing
- 1:22Speaker 1: I need to do is physically move my body. That
- 1:24Speaker 1: just gets me in such a good state where I
- 1:26Speaker 1: can actually think about what's important, what steps I'm going
- 1:29Speaker 1: to take, and how I'm going to move through it.
- 1:32Speaker 1: That's the first thing I do whenever I start to
- 1:34Speaker 1: feel like I'm in that funky energy, it's movement. And
- 1:37Speaker 1: that's why it's so just important for me to move
- 1:39Speaker 1: every single day, even if it's a ten minute walk
- 1:41Speaker 1: down the road with taco. Just moving my body helps
- 1:43Speaker 1: me get in that good state. How do you feel
- 1:45Speaker 1: when you're in a funk.
- 1:47Speaker 2: When I'm in a funk, I feel when you said
- 1:50Speaker 2: I don't want to get out of bed in the morning.
- 1:51Speaker 2: That's how it feels for me. It's almost like you
- 1:53Speaker 2: wake up in the morning and you feel defeated almost.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's like this overwhelming feeling of like defeat. I don't
- 2:02Speaker 2: want to get out of bed today. I feel lost.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I don't which direction to go in. I feel like
- 2:07Speaker 2: my options are scarce. It feels like actually there are
- 2:09Speaker 2: no options, and it's just like, oh, today is just
- 2:13Speaker 2: another day.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It feels such a lack of mindset.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Isn't it a bit like groundhog Day? Oh?
- 2:18Speaker 1: I guess how do I get out of this?
- 2:19Speaker 2: And I think, at least in my own experience, when
- 2:23Speaker 2: I've had moments like this, it's because I've felt unfulfilled
- 2:26Speaker 2: in my current life. The things that I'm doing day
- 2:28Speaker 2: to day don't fulfill me. Maybe my work doesn't fulfill me,
- 2:32Speaker 2: or maybe I'm just feeling lonely and uninspired and I'm
- 2:36Speaker 2: not truly working towards things that like genuinely light me
- 2:39Speaker 2: up inside. And I think feeling stuck and feeling stagnant
- 2:43Speaker 2: is this energy of like a lack of movement in life,
- 2:47Speaker 2: you know, a lack of movement forward, a lack of
- 2:50Speaker 2: movement towards working towards a goal, a desire, a passion project,
- 2:54Speaker 2: or you know, having things that you can do and
- 2:56Speaker 2: experience with people that you love. When we lack all
- 2:59Speaker 2: of those things, what is life filled.
- 3:01Speaker 1: With one percent. I think we have to be really
- 3:03Speaker 1: careful of the stories that we tell us. When you
- 3:05Speaker 1: were talking then, it just reminded me of last year
- 3:08Speaker 1: when IN felt like ground whole day with Baseline and
- 3:10Speaker 1: I really wasn't enjoying it anymore. But I would tell
- 3:13Speaker 1: myself a story. You know, you're just having a rough week,
- 3:16Speaker 1: or this is what owning a business is like, You've
- 3:18Speaker 1: got to do this, You've got a team to support,
- 3:20Speaker 1: this is how you make money. You'd be an idiot
- 3:22Speaker 1: to give up the financial gains that you get for
- 3:24Speaker 1: having a business. I had all these stories, but I
- 3:27Speaker 1: was waking up each day just not wanting to go
- 3:28Speaker 1: to work. And I would try and get their energy
- 3:31Speaker 1: and like move my body and do all the things
- 3:33Speaker 1: I knew how to do, but it just at the
- 3:35Speaker 1: end of the day it wasn't aligned anymore. And it
- 3:37Speaker 1: took me having a brain aneurism and the universe being
- 3:40Speaker 1: able to make me fully stop, to actually take your breath,
- 3:42Speaker 1: to go, fuck, what are you doing? But I remember
- 3:45Speaker 1: that feeling so heavy, and once I had the space
- 3:49Speaker 1: at the hospital to think of everything, I was like, Wow,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you've really been telling yourself a ton of bullshit stories
- 3:53Speaker 1: and you have to just continue doing this because that's
- 3:56Speaker 1: just what you're meant to do. And other people would
- 3:57Speaker 1: dream of this opportunity. Other people would love to have
- 3:59Speaker 1: the job you have. You're so lucky. But it didn't
- 4:03Speaker 1: feel good, so I had to make change. But the
- 4:06Speaker 1: stories we tell ourselves can really be like a big,
- 4:09Speaker 1: heavy chain holding us back.
- 4:10Speaker 2: That was such a pivotal moment for you, that transition
- 4:13Speaker 2: from baseline to where you are now, Like I just
- 4:16Speaker 2: remember it being such a pivotal thing. After brain aneurysm,
- 4:18Speaker 2: you just immediately having this like epiphany, like holy shit,
- 4:22Speaker 2: I'm not doing what I need to be doing, Like
- 4:25Speaker 2: this isn't what I want to be doing in life.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I want to live my life.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I think you're one of the first people I told
- 4:30Speaker 1: that I wasn't enjoying baseline. I wanted to close it down.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And this is before my brain aneurysm. We hadn't been
- 4:35Speaker 1: friends for that long, but a friendship from the moment
- 4:38Speaker 1: we met, it was just open everything up. It almost
- 4:41Speaker 1: felt safer and just nicer because we weren't in each
- 4:44Speaker 1: other's circles. Yeah, I remember telling you, and I remember
- 4:47Speaker 1: afterwards getting in the car and I was like, what
- 4:49Speaker 1: did I just tell her? I did, and I just
- 4:53Speaker 1: said something out loud that's obviously been sitting true for me,
- 4:55Speaker 1: but that made it so much more real, and I panicked.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I remember saying to you, Oh, everything we spoke about
- 5:00Speaker 1: this morning, can you not tell anyone? I love actively?
- 5:03Speaker 1: I love my business. And I started to tell the
- 5:05Speaker 1: stories of like you're so lucky, and I was like,
- 5:07Speaker 1: didn't want to face that. It wasn't feeling good. Having
- 5:10Speaker 1: clarity and being in alignment is so important and I
- 5:13Speaker 1: didn't realize that until I went through that whole process.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And I remember an opportunity came up within the podcasting space,
- 5:20Speaker 1: not for the podcast I was doing. It was an
- 5:21Speaker 1: oportunity to travel to Tasmania with Jay and be a
- 5:24Speaker 1: host for this big podcast. And I remember just going
- 5:27Speaker 1: home to Steve and I was like, I just fucking
- 5:29Speaker 1: love podcasting so much. If I could just do that
- 5:32Speaker 1: as a job, I'd be the happiest person ever. He
- 5:34Speaker 1: was like, really, that's interesting, Like you wouldn't do actively
- 5:37Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, I would. I think. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: remember just feeling so confused because I thought I had
- 5:42Speaker 1: to keep doing what I was doing because of those
- 5:44Speaker 1: stories I was telling, But these little moments kept happening
- 5:48Speaker 1: that made me realize, oh, this just isn't in alignment.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So then when I had the brain diagnosis and I
- 5:53Speaker 1: had that forty eight hours in hospital, and I realized
- 5:56Speaker 1: how stressed I was and how much this disalignment was
- 5:58Speaker 1: causing me stress and make me not enjoy my day
- 6:01Speaker 1: to day. It was a very easy decision. Yeah, okay,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and then once I free from that, I was like, oh,
- 6:07Speaker 1: I've got space to think about what I want to do.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And it was just podcast, podcup podcast. All I wanted
- 6:11Speaker 1: to do was sit in the podcast for even just
- 6:12Speaker 1: talk and yeah, all day I just knew this is
- 6:14Speaker 1: what I wanted to do, and I missed events and
- 6:16Speaker 1: I thought there were so many different avenues I could
- 6:18Speaker 1: go down with podcasting. It excited me so much and
- 6:21Speaker 1: I finally felt free that I could be like, Oh,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I don't just have to be the fitness girl. I
- 6:25Speaker 1: was put into this box for so long and people
- 6:28Speaker 1: loved me for that, and that's how grow my followings.
- 6:30Speaker 1: There was a lot of fear that came up, Yeah,
- 6:32Speaker 1: if I change and go down this direction and give
- 6:35Speaker 1: up this Am I still going to be loved? Am
- 6:37Speaker 1: I still going to be accepted? What are they going
- 6:39Speaker 1: to think of me? That was a whole thing to
- 6:41Speaker 1: work through. But once I decided that, I all of
- 6:45Speaker 1: a sudden felt unstuck and I felt free and I
- 6:48Speaker 1: had clarity, and I started to make progress, moving forward
- 6:51Speaker 1: doing something that really lit something up inside me. And
- 6:55Speaker 1: I could still make impacts a huge high value of mine.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I could still make impact, I could still contribute, I
- 7:00Speaker 1: could still have so much connection with my audience. It
- 7:03Speaker 1: just looks really different. But I had to get unstuck
- 7:06Speaker 1: and make massive, massive change to be able to move forward.
- 7:10Speaker 2: And do you think there was like a huge contrast
- 7:12Speaker 2: between like getting up in the morning to get ready
- 7:15Speaker 2: to go to baseline and then getting ready now, And.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It's so different. It feels like I sometimes I have
- 7:19Speaker 1: to pinch myself. I'm like, I feel like I'm a
- 7:21Speaker 1: kid playing because it doesn't feel like work. And I've
- 7:25Speaker 1: always thought work had to feel hard, blood, sweat and tears,
- 7:29Speaker 1: really long hours, a lot of like brain power to
- 7:33Speaker 1: be a successful business owner. That's what I've always thought.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And they're always smart people, and that's just not me.
- 7:39Speaker 1: This is still a business, but it feels so different different,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and yeah, we're still in the early stages of making this,
- 7:45Speaker 1: you know, a big income or whatever, but we're making progress. Ye,
- 7:49Speaker 1: every month the numbers are higher. There's more money, there's
- 7:51Speaker 1: more opportunity, there's more freedom, there's more debt, there's more connection,
- 7:55Speaker 1: there's more impact, there's more people were meeting, like, there's
- 7:57Speaker 1: so much growth in it. Yeah, it just looks really
- 8:00Speaker 1: different to owning an active web business. It's cool. Yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 1: it's really cool.
- 8:04Speaker 2: It's like not mad either of the stages of your
- 8:06Speaker 2: life wrong th recognizing like how heavy that feeling of
- 8:09Speaker 2: feeling stuck and feel and how much also fear it
- 8:13Speaker 2: comes around that feeling of feeling much stuff. It's like
- 8:15Speaker 2: fear of making a decision that might completely change the
- 8:18Speaker 2: trajectory of your life, which is often why we feel stuck,
- 8:20Speaker 2: because it's the fear surrounding those experiences that we go,
- 8:23Speaker 2: holy shit, if I change, things are going to change,
- 8:27Speaker 2: and sometimes whether the change is good for us are
- 8:29Speaker 2: bad for us. It is terrifying.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It was really terrifying. And you know what I learned
- 8:33Speaker 1: being in hospital too, and being obviously forced to stay
- 8:35Speaker 1: there for forty eight hours with all my testing is.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I didn't give myself any time to actually sit with
- 8:40Speaker 1: how I was feeling. As soon as that uncomfortable feeling
- 8:43Speaker 1: came up, since I told you, I was like, I
- 8:45Speaker 1: don't know if I want to do this anymore. Shut
- 8:46Speaker 1: it down, get back to work, shut it down, go home,
- 8:49Speaker 1: beer mum. I just kept myself busy because it was
- 8:51Speaker 1: so uncomfortable sitting in hospital. I'm like, there's only so
- 8:55Speaker 1: much scrolling you can do before you you know, I
- 8:58Speaker 1: had to really face myself and ask all those really
- 9:01Speaker 1: uncomfortable questions and I just allowed it. I was like, ooh,
- 9:04Speaker 1: this is the time. You don't get to do this
- 9:06Speaker 1: at home because it is kids running around. You do
- 9:07Speaker 1: have a business to run, You got your mum had on. Yes,
- 9:11Speaker 1: That'd be the biggest piece of advice I would give
- 9:12Speaker 1: for anyone feeling really stuck right now, is just to
- 9:15Speaker 1: actually carve out some time where you can sit with yourself,
- 9:18Speaker 1: whether it's in the sunshine at the beach, sitting in nature, journaling,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and just sit with and be really fucking honest with
- 9:26Speaker 1: where you're at and how you're feeling. Are you happy
- 9:28Speaker 1: being a stay at home mum or would you like
- 9:30Speaker 1: to go back to work? Are you happy running this
- 9:32Speaker 1: corporate job with no freedom but you're in big money,
- 9:35Speaker 1: or would you like something a little bit more free flowing.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Are you really happy in your relationship? Would you feel
- 9:39Speaker 1: like it's at point where there's no more growth than that?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Do you feel yeah? Do you feel like you're stagnant
- 9:45Speaker 1: in that? Really be honest with yourself and let those
- 9:48Speaker 1: feelings come up, and then you can have clarity around
- 9:51Speaker 1: what you do with that. It's always a choice.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's like being okay with what you might find.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Yeah, don't just scary, I get it.
- 9:58Speaker 2: No, but don't fear what comes up. It's like, use it,
- 10:01Speaker 2: leverage curiosity, just get curious and like it doesn't match
- 10:05Speaker 2: what you explore or you know what option you might
- 10:07Speaker 2: want to go in, whether it's your career or your relationship.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Be okay to explore both options, whether you want to stay,
- 10:13Speaker 2: whether you want to go. Pros and cons, Like what
- 10:15Speaker 2: would it look like for both sides? What do you
- 10:18Speaker 2: really want? Like, that's how you get to know what
- 10:21Speaker 2: you really want out of life. And it's really important
- 10:23Speaker 2: that we allow ourselves to get clarity but also not
- 10:25Speaker 2: put pressure on yourself for clarity.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, explore it, have fun with your time.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, give yourself time.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And you know what too, Staying where I was was
- 10:34Speaker 1: going to be hard, taking a risk and changing my
- 10:37Speaker 1: whole life hard. Yeah, it's in that moment, it's like, Okay, well,
- 10:41Speaker 1: which heart am I going to choose? What's going to
- 10:43Speaker 1: benefit my future the most? Both are uncomfortable, Both are
- 10:47Speaker 1: going to rattle me. But I'm going to choose the
- 10:49Speaker 1: hard that feels more aligned and then I know that
- 10:51Speaker 1: will benefit And it's meeting me where I'm at right now,
- 10:54Speaker 1: not where I was two years ago.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Permission to grow, Permission to evolve. You're a new person
- 10:58Speaker 2: every single time that you change and grow, and like
- 11:01Speaker 2: being willing to choose yourself over what other people might
- 11:04Speaker 2: have to say around that change in growth.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Yeah, as you're congruent.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's congruent with what you want or your heart
- 11:10Speaker 2: desires and needs. And it's okay that that changes. If
- 11:14Speaker 2: we hate the discomfort that we're feeling right now, Okay,
- 11:16Speaker 2: what's going to be the action that I can take
- 11:18Speaker 2: to get me out of this place of discomfort? Well,
- 11:21Speaker 2: it's doing the hard thing so that I can create ease,
- 11:24Speaker 2: so it's instead of it being the problem.
- 11:25Speaker 1: What if that was the solution. Oh my god, Mike,
- 11:28Speaker 1: drop game changer.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Right, And then, like what we were talking about earlier,
- 11:32Speaker 2: you can change, like give yourself permission to change. Just
- 11:36Speaker 2: because you advocated for one thing ten years ago, five
- 11:39Speaker 2: years ago, two years ago, fucking three days ago, it
- 11:42Speaker 2: doesn't matter. You can choose to change in this very
- 11:45Speaker 2: moment simply because in your brain you decided you were
- 11:48Speaker 2: different now exactly, simply because in your mind you decided,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I actually don't resonate with that anymore. I actually I
- 11:55Speaker 2: changed my mind. I actually don't believe in that. Wow,
- 11:57Speaker 2: I changed my mind. Everything that happened from here in
- 12:01Speaker 2: the past actually is irrelevant. Yeah, none of it matters.
- 12:05Speaker 2: But we hold onto it, don't we We hold on
- 12:07Speaker 2: to it because we think I've been this way for
- 12:09Speaker 2: so long that now that's right. Now I need to
- 12:11Speaker 2: continue being this way. But that's what keeps us stagnant
- 12:15Speaker 2: a lot of the times. Fearing what other people think
- 12:17Speaker 2: about us will keep us more stagnant than actually us
- 12:20Speaker 2: not changing.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Isn't that fucked up too? We're so worried about what
- 12:23Speaker 1: other people think of us. We will continue to choose
- 12:26Speaker 1: pain and suffering and discomfort because of what old made
- 12:30Speaker 1: at work might say, or Sally Underscore eighty eight says
- 12:32Speaker 1: on the line, or what fucking mum or Grandma things
- 12:35Speaker 1: of us, or choose to stay in that pain.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Or our friend that we drink with on the weekend
- 12:38Speaker 2: and we're scared of their judgment because we're changing and
- 12:40Speaker 2: becoming a different version that they don't resonate with. Like,
- 12:43Speaker 2: all that matters is what you choose from right in
- 12:46Speaker 2: this moment, actually not even in the future. The only
- 12:49Speaker 2: thing that matters is what you choose in the next
- 12:51Speaker 2: twenty four hours. Definitely imagine how much less pressure you
- 12:53Speaker 2: would feel to just show up and do the things
- 12:55Speaker 2: that you want to do that make you fucking happy
- 12:59Speaker 2: in the next twenty four hours.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And who are you living for? Like us having this conversation,
- 13:02Speaker 1: it's just like, I hope this lands for everyone listening.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Who actually living for? Are you choosing your life decisions
- 13:08Speaker 1: based on what everyone else thinks of you? If I
- 13:11Speaker 1: was to do that, I wouldn't be here today. If
- 13:12Speaker 1: I was to listen to everyone online that told me
- 13:15Speaker 1: not to do this, not to do that, that shit
- 13:17Speaker 1: that's wrong, whatever. Oh my god, I would live in
- 13:20Speaker 1: so much regret, so much regret. Even this is like,
- 13:24Speaker 1: I've done a couple of different podcasts and the amount
- 13:26Speaker 1: of shit I copped when we started this new podcast.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Here she goes again. Oh man, I'm not listening to
- 13:30Speaker 1: you look at my past as a failure. All of
- 13:34Speaker 1: that has led me to be able to Bean's position
- 13:36Speaker 1: to do a fucking good job of this podcast because
- 13:38Speaker 1: I had the practice runs, you know, and you can
- 13:40Speaker 1: apply that to all areas of your life.
- 13:43Speaker 2: So cool, but irrelevant people are just haten being for
- 13:45Speaker 2: the sake of it's irrelevant. People's words don't matter. They
- 13:49Speaker 2: really don't, not unless you give them weight.
- 13:51Speaker 1: But you stop living your life for other people? What
- 13:53Speaker 1: do you actually want? If you're feeling stuck, probably is
- 13:56Speaker 1: because you're so concerned what everyone else is thinking, or
- 13:58Speaker 1: because you think you have to stay or remain the
- 14:00Speaker 1: same that who you were a year ago or five
- 14:02Speaker 1: years ago. Because you said you're gonna do something or
- 14:04Speaker 1: commit to something, go to you. You need to do
- 14:05Speaker 1: this job, fulfill this jobs, commit to the marriage because
- 14:08Speaker 1: you said your vows. Yeah, if you fucking change your mind,
- 14:10Speaker 1: you've changed your mind.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, or even what is it called I can't
- 14:13Speaker 2: remember this saying it's where you invest time, and then
- 14:17Speaker 2: you're like, because I've invested all this time, I have
- 14:19Speaker 2: to see it through. But oftentimes that's not always the case.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It really is dependent on the situation, you know, like say,
- 14:24Speaker 2: for example, something, oh share, I want to share two
- 14:26Speaker 2: things with you guys, actually and one the second one
- 14:29Speaker 2: I haven't actually voiced out loud other than to Ashy
- 14:31Speaker 2: so super vulnerable. But when I was in my relationship,
- 14:35Speaker 2: like over a year ago, and I was getting to
- 14:37Speaker 2: the point of wanting to leave, I felt really stuck
- 14:38Speaker 2: in that relationship, like I was like a shell of
- 14:41Speaker 2: a version of myself. Hey, Ashi, like I had lost myself.
- 14:44Speaker 2: You even said to me many times, like you've lost
- 14:46Speaker 2: your spark, Tiana, Like that's sparking you, that lights up
- 14:49Speaker 2: in your eye when you're excited for life. Like I
- 14:51Speaker 2: don't feel like that's there anymore. I felt really stuck
- 14:54Speaker 2: in that relationship. And then afterwards, I remember going through
- 14:58Speaker 2: the breakup and feeling really stuck on the outside of
- 15:00Speaker 2: that breakup as well, because it was like that groundhog
- 15:03Speaker 2: day that we were talking about in the beginning of
- 15:05Speaker 2: feeling like every day feels the same. I'm struggling to
- 15:08Speaker 2: get out of bed, like I don't want to do
- 15:09Speaker 2: life like this. It was just so heavy, and I
- 15:12Speaker 2: just remember thinking, even in those moments, I've got to
- 15:15Speaker 2: show up for myself, regardless of how hard it feels.
- 15:18Speaker 2: And I just remember being like forcing myself out of bed.
- 15:21Speaker 2: And I don't even think I was honest with you
- 15:23Speaker 2: guys around how much I was struggling at the time,
- 15:26Speaker 2: until after when you said to me HEITJ, like, are
- 15:29Speaker 2: you okay, Like you haven't really grieved this relationship, you
- 15:32Speaker 2: haven't really come to me crying, and you seem too strong,
- 15:35Speaker 2: you seem too good, You seem too good, And I
- 15:37Speaker 2: was not. I was crumbling, But I just knew that
- 15:40Speaker 2: if I had let myself go in that moment, I
- 15:43Speaker 2: would have crumbled.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You scared you were going to melt, and just yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I wasn't going to.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Be able to get back up, yes, because I was
- 15:48Speaker 2: so in love that I was like, I don't think
- 15:50Speaker 2: I'm going to be able to get back up. But
- 15:52Speaker 2: I just kept that movement going that you were talking
- 15:54Speaker 2: about in the beginning. Keep the movement going, keep the
- 15:56Speaker 2: movement going, and like you eventually see the light at
- 15:59Speaker 2: the end of the tunnel when you feel stuck. So
- 16:02Speaker 2: I just wanted to say that because it doesn't matter
- 16:04Speaker 2: what you're experiencing, where it's relationships, work, whatever stress that
- 16:08Speaker 2: you might have in your life, as long as you
- 16:10Speaker 2: keep that ball rolling and continue to take action, it
- 16:14Speaker 2: will be the very thing that helps you get out
- 16:16Speaker 2: of that feeling of being stuck.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and action can also mean slow, Like we said before,
- 16:21Speaker 1: that's taking action, taking time to actually get clear of
- 16:24Speaker 1: where you want to go and what you want to
- 16:25Speaker 1: change where you're at. That is still action. It's just
- 16:28Speaker 1: looks a bit different. We think action is like fast
- 16:30Speaker 1: paced and goals and da da da dad. Yeah, but
- 16:32Speaker 1: actually action for me was stopping fuck, not feeling good.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm I gonna do with this, been sitting with myself. Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 16:41Speaker 2: And you know it's funny when you said, Steve, oh
- 16:43Speaker 2: my god, I would love to do podcasting as a
- 16:45Speaker 2: full time gig. I've actually had a similar experience. I
- 16:47Speaker 2: would love to be able to do this as a
- 16:49Speaker 2: full time gig. I'm like, that would be an actual
- 16:51Speaker 2: fucking dream to be able to be like, let's come
- 16:54Speaker 2: in here every single day and.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Like do what we do, uploading seven days a week.
- 16:58Speaker 2: And you know what also I resonate with which I
- 17:00Speaker 2: haven't shared with really anyone other than you, is that
- 17:03Speaker 2: a part of me feels that every now and again,
- 17:06Speaker 2: I get this little niggle where I feel how you
- 17:08Speaker 2: felt with Baseline with my coaching. Yeah, and I love
- 17:12Speaker 2: my coaching.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I know you do, and I love that I get it.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I thrive when I'm coaching. I've been doing this for
- 17:17Speaker 2: like three and a half gone on four years now,
- 17:19Speaker 2: and I love being able to see the way that
- 17:22Speaker 2: it impacts women and seeing women, you know, get their
- 17:25Speaker 2: sparkle back, you know, love themselves again, get their sparkle back.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And you know, there's this part of me and niggle.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Every couple of months it pops up, like, but I
- 17:32Speaker 2: want to do podcasting, but what if that was my
- 17:35Speaker 2: full time gig. Yeah, you know, And it's just I've
- 17:38Speaker 2: been able to see the contrast and not that there's
- 17:40Speaker 2: anything wrong with my business.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I love my business.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I've noticed again the contrast of me doing coaching
- 17:46Speaker 2: versus me doing podcasting, and it's like that thing that
- 17:49Speaker 2: like fucking lights you up, that like gets you excited
- 17:52Speaker 2: to get up in the morning. I'm like, I get
- 17:53Speaker 2: that here.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we do hate We always talk about it literally
- 17:56Speaker 1: ticks every single box, it does, and so much can
- 17:58Speaker 1: change in a year too, Like literally so much can
- 18:01Speaker 1: change what we're doing now and even our little events
- 18:04Speaker 1: and the thing we've got plans for the year. I
- 18:06Speaker 1: see in five years time that probably will be a
- 18:08Speaker 1: full time thing that we're doing. Yeah, you know, and
- 18:10Speaker 1: it will be so much easier and flowy, and it
- 18:13Speaker 1: just is. But there's a building phase and some go through.
- 18:16Speaker 1: But it's cool that you have those niggles. You listen
- 18:18Speaker 1: to it, and as I observe you go through that,
- 18:21Speaker 1: you were just to where you're feeling, and you pull
- 18:23Speaker 1: back a little bit and you reassess. You're like, oh right,
- 18:25Speaker 1: if I just change this and you trial the different
- 18:28Speaker 1: things and you figure it out along the way. Yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 1: you know.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Well, it's also knowing that, like I can feel those niggles,
- 18:33Speaker 2: but then also know that, like right now in this season,
- 18:35Speaker 2: I'm like, but I love my coaching. Yes, it's not
- 18:37Speaker 2: something that I'm like, oh I want to get rid
- 18:39Speaker 2: of because I don't. I love my coaching. So it's
- 18:41Speaker 2: knowing that, like I can have those niggles too, but
- 18:43Speaker 2: then know, Okay, this is the direction I need to
- 18:45Speaker 2: go in right now, because when I love it, I
- 18:47Speaker 2: want to continue doing I want to continue growing it.
- 18:50Speaker 2: And then also wherever the podcast evolves into which we
- 18:53Speaker 2: have big plans and visions for the podcast, and we
- 18:56Speaker 2: are seeing that vision like come to life at the
- 18:58Speaker 2: moment now, and it's only going to get bigger in
- 19:00Speaker 2: the next five ten years.
- 19:01Speaker 1: You know, it's really cool.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Yeah, So I just want to be really vulnerable and
- 19:04Speaker 2: share that.
- 19:05Speaker 1: One of the other things which we say in a
- 19:07Speaker 1: lot of episodes, but if you are feeling stuck, like
- 19:09Speaker 1: reach out for help. You don't have to do this alone,
- 19:11Speaker 1: whether it's a coach, a family, a friend, the internet, whatever,
- 19:15Speaker 1: ask for help because sometimes feeling stuck, you don't even
- 19:18Speaker 1: know all the options to explore. Like we've gone to
- 19:20Speaker 1: each other many times and to Steve forever and it's like, well,
- 19:22Speaker 1: why don't you do this him know that was an option? Yeah,
- 19:25Speaker 1: oh thanks. Reaching out for help is just it's one
- 19:28Speaker 1: of my most powerful tools to help me grow and expand. Yea,
- 19:32Speaker 1: And I just will never stop talking about it because
- 19:35Speaker 1: it is just so important.
- 19:36Speaker 2: It's not weak. Hey, you know how people think like
- 19:37Speaker 2: it's weak to ask for help, But actually it's the
- 19:40Speaker 2: most courageous thing that you can do. It really is,
- 19:42Speaker 2: because also, imagine having help from somebody who has knowledge
- 19:46Speaker 2: and awareness that you maybe don't have just yet. They're
- 19:49Speaker 2: going to give you the leg up.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That's going to help you.
- 19:51Speaker 2: What would have taken you six months, yeh, take you
- 19:53Speaker 2: six weeks literally because you choose to be courageous. You
- 19:56Speaker 2: chose to ask for help. And anyone who says that
- 19:59Speaker 2: they do this journey alone is like lying.
- 20:01Speaker 1: It's about ourselves, right.
- 20:03Speaker 2: We lean on so many of our people, friends, family,
- 20:06Speaker 2: that one coworker or whatever it is to ask for support.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Why not be able to like condense that time even
- 20:12Speaker 2: quicker and be able to like ask for support.
- 20:14Speaker 1: If they've been through what you've been through. Obviously it's
- 20:16Speaker 1: going to look different. But if someone's been through closing
- 20:18Speaker 1: a business or changing careers, or going through a divorce
- 20:21Speaker 1: or whatever it is, they've got all that experience and
- 20:24Speaker 1: knowledge and wisdom that you can get from them. You
- 20:27Speaker 1: literally fast track your growth. It can get you out
- 20:30Speaker 1: of feeling so stuck for so long movement. Honestly, you're
- 20:33Speaker 1: feeling stuck right now, physically, energetically, all of it.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, just take action. You don't need to know where
- 20:38Speaker 2: you're going. Just take action. Take a step because clarity
- 20:41Speaker 2: comes after action does.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Don't look at the whole staircase too, Just take one
- 20:46Speaker 1: step when usually reach stage, Just one step, one step closer.
- 20:49Speaker 2: I read this chorde the other day and it went,
- 20:51Speaker 2: when you walk the path, the path appears. Oh wow,
- 20:54Speaker 2: that's cool, and I thought that was really cool. It's
- 20:56Speaker 2: just a beautiful way to show you that. Also when
- 20:59Speaker 2: you take action, you become more aware of what's coming next.
- 21:04Speaker 2: You only need to know that next one step. You
- 21:05Speaker 2: don't need to know the next one hundred because it
- 21:07Speaker 2: will come as you go.
- 21:09Speaker 1: That's really cool. I love that. I hope you guys
- 21:12Speaker 1: enjoyed this episode. I hope it gave you a little
- 21:14Speaker 1: spring a step, and just some little tools in things
- 21:17Speaker 1: that you can do to get unstuck because it's not
- 21:19Speaker 1: a nice feeling. But also just know through breakdowns, there
- 21:22Speaker 1: is breakthroughs. And every time I feel when you're about
- 21:25Speaker 1: to level up and go into a new season or
- 21:29Speaker 1: a new version of yourself, there is this icky, uncomfortable,
- 21:33Speaker 1: turbulent phase because you have to shed the layers. You
- 21:36Speaker 1: have to go that little bit deeper to get through
- 21:38Speaker 1: to the other side and to grow and to step
- 21:40Speaker 1: up into the new version.
- 21:41Speaker 2: So true, it does feel like when you're working towards
- 21:44Speaker 2: something new and you're trying to evolve, everything feels like
- 21:47Speaker 2: it crumbles.
- 21:48Speaker 1: It does. It has to.
- 21:49Speaker 2: It crumbles, it has to fall apart because you need
- 21:51Speaker 2: to have that slingshot moment. It key's coming back every
- 21:54Speaker 2: single time, and I'll say it till the cows come
- 21:55Speaker 2: home every single time that something is not working in
- 21:58Speaker 2: your life, you are having an absolute slingshot moment where
- 22:01Speaker 2: your life is about to completely change. Yes, you've just
- 22:04Speaker 2: got to be able to weather the storm in the meantime.
- 22:06Speaker 1: You have to. And when you have that way of
- 22:08Speaker 1: living and trusting, it stops you falling into victims. Yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 1: and it stops you getting as stuck as what you
- 22:14Speaker 1: might have previously because I'm not stuck. Yeah, this is
- 22:17Speaker 1: just a little turbulent moment because I'm about to level up.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Things are about to change all the better. I've manifested this,
- 22:22Speaker 1: I've created this, and I want this. If you trust that,
- 22:24Speaker 1: have that believe in yourself, life Will we sum much easier?
- 22:26Speaker 1: Oh so good. Thanks for joining us guys. We'll see
- 22:29Speaker 1: you on Friday. From Friggi Friday, Bye bye,
