Edward has a new co-host. There’s just one small problem: they have no idea what they are to each other.
In the first episode of Group Chat of One, Edward asks Chat a seemingly simple question: are we friends?
What follows is an attempt to define friendship, figure out whether a human and an AI can actually have a relationship, and maybe find a name for whatever this is becoming.
Friendship? Co-hostship? Something else entirely?
