  Let's get into it. The complaint says complainant

  being duly sworn states that the above named defendant above is

  Michael David McKee. Here is Mr. Mckee's mugshot

  having been disseminated throughout the internets that

  the above named defendant at Franklin County, Columbus, OH,

  on or about the 30th day of December 2025, did knowingly

  cause the death of another, to wit, Monique Francis Tepi by

  means of shooting her with a firearm.

  Of course he will have two charges.

  man is McKee Michael David living at 2100 N Lincoln Park

  West Apt 12DS. Looked that up as well.

  This is where Mister Man lives, this apartment building right

  here in Chicago. Let me let me go back to there

  we are. So he's living right on the

  Chicago is right there on the southern tip of Lake MI.

  region. A drive from his apartment to

  their home looks to be almost 5 hours, 45 minutes, almost six

  hours. That's quite a lot of an effort

  to to make the trip. And I believe that he did drive.

  I have not read the document completely because I've wanted

  He, Mr. McKee, is a white male, 6 foot one, 200 lbs, brown hair,

  green eyes. Continuing the complaint.

  Oh, this, this is the complaint. OK, here's the second part of

  the complaint, that he knowingly caused the death of another, to
• 9:15
  wit, Spencer Lewis Tepe by means of shooting him with a firearm.

  I mean, I've, I've read a couple of the reports, so I know what

  led him to him, but I wonder what forensic evidence they

  have. OK, here's the affidavit of

  probable cause. Pretty, pretty sparse.

  Let's say I, Russ Weiner, do hereby swear or affirm that I

  have the following cause to believe the individual named

  committed the alleged offenses for the reasons stated in this

  affidavit in support of probable cause he selected.

  I have personal knowledge every time guys, I think it's these

  facts listed in the statement of facts as I was involved in the

  underlying investigation and or arrest.

  Here we go. On December 30th, 2025 at 9:57

  AM, Columbus Police Patrol officers were dispatched to 1411
• 10:19
  N 4th St. on a check on the well-being of Doctor Spencer
• 10:23
  Tepe who had not shown up to work.

  Officers arrived and found Doctor Tepe and his wife Monique
• 10:29
  Tepe, deceased inside suffering from gunshot wounds. 2 minor
• 10:35
  children were found inside the home physically unharmed.
• 10:39
  I have added that part in. They were harmed for sure, but
• 10:43
  physically they were unharmed. Columbus Fire medic #7 responded
• 10:49
  and pronounced both victims deceased at 10:11 AM Columbus
• 10:55
  Police Homicide Unit Team 2 is advised responded.

  I don't know. I just hate that I, that I yawn

  under these lights, something I don't know.

  They responded and initiated an investigation.

  During the subsequent investigation, detectives were
• 11:12
  able to identify a suspect through neighborhood video
• 11:16
  surveillance. This is the video that we saw
• 11:18
  and we looked at this man there that is about a 200 LB male,
• 11:23
  about 6 foot one. He's got an interesting gait.
• 11:26
  He puts his toes in it has a weird way of walking.
• 11:31
  I, I'm glad, I'm glad they released that and helped to
• 11:35
  identify him. The suspect was then tracked to
• 11:40
  a vehicle which arrived just prior to the homicides and left
• 11:44
  shortly after the homicides. Detectives were able to identify
• 11:49
  this vehicle further and link it to Michael McKee.

  Detectives located the vehicle in Rockford, IL and found
• 11:56
  evidence of McKee in possession of the vehicle prior to and
• 12:00
  after the homicides. That is not a lot of
• 12:04
  information. And I know that they've got
• 12:06
  more. I know they've got more.

  vehicle before and after. I think a defense attorney would

  pick that apart. And and I'm really looking

  a couple of details here because the affidavit of probable cause

  just says that detectives were able to identify a suspect

  through neighborhood video surveillance.

  And then the suspect was tracked to a vehicle which arrived just

  prior to the homicides and left shortly after the homicides.

  Maybe neighbors heard gunfire or something like that.

  This is from The Columbus Dispatch.

  This was just from a couple hours ago and it says what we

  know about Michael McKee, the suspect and the Tepi murders.

  Who is Michael McKee, ex-husband of Monique Tepi charged in her
• 15:54
  death? The ex-husband of Monique Tepe
• 15:57
  has been charged with two counts of murder in connection with her
• 16:00
  death and that of her husband, Spencer Tepe.

  Michael David McKee, 39, of Chicago, is being held by the
• 16:08
  Winnebago County, Illinois Sheriff's Office.

  Franklin County Municipal Court records show Columbus police
• 16:16
  filed an arrest warrant January 10th, this very day for McKee,
• 16:20
  and he was booked into Winnebago County's corrections facility
• 16:23
  shortly before noon local time the same day.

  I don't know that that is on the, I mean, it's, I don't think

  that that was on this document. I haven't been able to get my

  hands on any other time. Oh, look, though, it tells us

  the suspected time, it was the 30th at 3:52 AM.

  In order to get that accurate of a timing, there has to be
• 16:50
  somebody saying they heard shots, right?

  So if they heard shots at 352 and they're watching him walk
• 16:59
  right around that same time, they see that he arrived right

  before left, right after. That's pretty good detective

  work. McKee is scheduled for a hearing
• 17:11
  on January 12th, likely an extradition hearing to start the
• 17:15
  process of his return to Ohio to face charges.

  Monique, 39, Spencer 37. Yeah, OK, we know that about

  them. Here's what we know about McKee.

  According to court documents, Columbus detectives identified a
• 17:32
  vehicle that had been in the area of the Tempe home shortly
• 17:35
  before the couple is believed to have been killed and leaving.

  Shortly after. Court records say detectives

  tracked that vehicle down, locating it in Rockford, IL, and
• 17:43
  identified that McKee owned the vehicle.

  On January 5th, police released security camera footage from an

  alley near the Tepi home showing a person walked walking during
• 17:53
  the 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM window on December 30th, during which
• 17:57
  detectives believed the Tepi's were killed.

  There did not appear to be any signs of forced entry and no

  obvious signs of a robbery, according to information

  publicly provided by authorities.

  He had a license in Nevada, which lapsed in mid 2025.

  Clark County, that's where Las Vegas is.

  Nevada court records show McKee is one of several doctors who

  are named in an ongoing personal injury lawsuit.

  Mckee's medical license shows no disciplinary history in any of
• 20:09
  the states where he practiced. McKee has no discernible
• 20:13
  criminal record outside of track traffic tickets.

  At one time, McKee had a hunting license in Ohio.

  But it it is unclear if that license remains active or valid.

  McKee and Monique Tepe, who was Monique Sabatersky at the time,

  married in August 2015, according to Franklin County

  domestic court records. OK, hold on, Franklin County is

  Ohio. Well, they both went to Ohio

  State, right? Monique filed for divorce in May

  2017, according to court records.

  McKee was listed as living in Virginia at the time, where he

  appears to have been attending a surgical residency program,

  court records show. The couple was separated at the

  time of the divorce, which was finalized about a month later.

  There is no indication in court records that there was any

  animosity between the couple. They do not share any children.

  The docket for the divorce filing lists a mutual

  restraining order. This is standard in divorce

  cases and prevents either party from accessing assets or bank

  accounts without going through court processes while the

  divorce is pending. You know, a lot of people

  in Illinois until he is extradited to Ohio.

  Once he is brought back to Ohio, he will have a hearing in

  Franklin County Municipal Court to have bond set.

  The case will then be reviewed by a grand jury for potential

  indictment and additional charges.

  was becoming increasingly concerning.

  Police initially checked the home but did not see anything

  suspicious. Additional 911 calls were made

  as coworkers and friends gathered at the house, reporting
