- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hey everyone and welcome to the Blife podcast.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: I am Melissa Bolder your host.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the show.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's summer you guys.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: We're here.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: We're in it.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing it.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_01]: And during this time of year, we are exposed to so many things.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: We are swimming in more pools.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: We're eating more food on the go.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_01]: Things in a package.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: We're drinking more bottled water.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: I've had more pop that I care to admit to.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Not like full ones, but like yeah, I'll take a couple drinks here and they're totally not used to my system.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: Um, with a birthday party of the week, I had some ice cream cake like I'm just exposed to a lot more, right?
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: And this episode is all about that.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: We are talking about endocrine disruptors.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: and how much that impacts our health and our fitness.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I say in here a few times like people think I'm crazy.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: I know I'm crazy and there are certain things that I am crazy.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: But this topic, I'm not crazy about.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a lot of science backing this and how much it actually disrupts our hormones.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then what happens?
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: What are the symptoms when you have
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: this shit show going on in disrupted hormones.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: Jared St. Claire is our guest today and he has been on the show before.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: He was on episode 255.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want, go back and learn more and hear Jared's like awesome information, go back and learn.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: But he is the guru of supplements.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: and he's also the host of Vitality Radio, Vitality Radio podcast.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: So go and check out his podcast and he even says in the episode that he has a couple episodes that are over an hour long where he deep dives into the topics that we're talking about today, but this was an important episode to get out now because of the time of the year.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: everything that we're being exposed to impacts us a hundred percent and today we're talking all about hormones and mostly like right when I say that and I say this in the beginning of the episode two so I don't mean to be redundant but I had to bring this up because people here hormones they'll see it you know like in the title or the description a bit and they're probably talking about like women's hormones and you know estrogen and progesterone and I want to say this upfront in ep
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: That first intro, and what I'm doing right now, that when I say that to Jared and we start talking, you know what the first thing he talks about is men and testosterone and then women and testosterone, not even what came to mind when
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: I first thought of like oh hormone disrupting didn't think to stastroon and honestly I just thought women didn't even go to men and that's the first thing Jared jumped to was testosterone with men and women and in this episode we are talking about how does this impact your health and fitness journey?
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: How does this all really work?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is disrupting our home ones?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about this before on the podcast, we've had other specialists in guests and people who really, really dive and deep to this.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: And we all know we shouldn't be eating and drinking out of plastic at all.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: I have personally cleared out my home of most plastics, everything has stored in glass.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: We have very few plastic plates or bowls or cups in my pantry.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's all stainless steel or glass, which no is not super convenient, but it's worth it.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: And we know things like that like plastics and everything is plastic.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: You guys everything were surrounded by it, but the food that we're eating.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: If you're eating out of a can and soups and canned fruits and vegetables, the lotions and soaps and shampoos that we're putting on our skin and men are spraying
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: All of these things are disrupting our hormones and you know, it's really big right now is pest control there are a million and one mosquitoes and spiders and you know, I get it like we've had ants before I want to deal with ants and it's terrible
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: And they come and spray the outside of your home.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: And all these things you have, they add up.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: And this is what's disrupting our hormones.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when you have disrupted hormones, you are looking at a long list of side effects.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: And this whole episode is not doom and gloom of like, yeah, well, you know.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: We're disrupting our hormones, and this is what happens.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: Jared breaks it down how it actually works, how it's actually impacting us, and then what we can do, and how we can clean our system out.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: So then when you do, if you do have to supplement with testosterone, if you are boosting your testosterone naturally, and just cleaning things out can boost your own hormones as well.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: But what to do if you are on an HRT,
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: or bio-identical hormone or something like that or if you are a guy and you are supplementing with testosterone.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: That is only as good.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Your body can only take it if basically, you know, here I'll spray it down.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's only good.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: You can only take it if someone is there to open the door.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: So if we take it into our body and say, like, you're on a testosterone shot and you take it.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: It goes into your body and it's knocking on the door to get in.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: If no one is there to open that door and let the testosterone in.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: you're fighting a losing battle.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: You're just up that river with, you know, go and then go and then go and then go and again, the flow and you're never gonna get anywhere.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: And why isn't anyone answering the door?
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Why isn't your body accepting it?
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're talking about today.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's a really, really good conversation.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I do have to say, Jared has a supplement endoclines and I talk about this in the episode, so I won't dive into it too much here.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: but he has a supplement called endoclons and then a liver, liver vitality to help support your liver through all this too.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I had blood work done.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: God, it was probably a year ago now.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: I get it done every three months, but the initial one that I had gotten done and they were like, your liver needs a little bit of help.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: You have some inflammation going on and of course the first person I go to is Jared.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, A.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is, this is what we're looking at.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: What, what do we do here?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I started the endo cleanse.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: I did like a three month cycle.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: I got off delivered vitality had more blood worked on and they were like, wow, what did you do?
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is great.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: Jared, I know Jared.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: Jared St. Clair has spent his whole life helping people optimize their vitality through education and supplementation.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: He grew up behind the counter of his family health store.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: You guys have to go back and listen to his story and his journey.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: And he started managing at the age of 15, and then he bought it from his parents at the age of 22, 30 plus years later in this industry, vitality nutrition is one of Utah's most respected independent supplement retailers.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: If I have a question of anything supplement-related, Jared is my go-to guy.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: like he is the one that I go to.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's also the host of the Vitality Radio podcast and formulator of his own unique supplement line, including the nationally recognized Vitality 5.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: Jared has built a reputation for translating complex health science into real.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: actionable answers and has well over 30 years of one-on-one experience working directly with real people.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: His knowledge isn't built in a lab, or lifted from some textbook.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's been earned across tens of thousands of conversations with real people chasing real results.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: So his gift is making the complex simple.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: So you can stop guessing and start making supplement decisions with real confidence.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are going to love this episode.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's so good.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: And we will have Jared back.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: He is going to be on the show, keep breaking things down.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think our next episode, we were talking about doing an entire episode on Asheville Ganda.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: and how it can help drop cortisol levels and he has a new line coming out talking about that.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: So lots to come, but this is the episode to listen to, so you fully understand the importance of not disrupting your hormones.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then if they are, which all of ours are, what do we do?
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: How do we clean it up so we can be optimized?
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: Alright everyone, check out the show notes.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: We'll put a link there, information for you guys, never miss it and has always go back and listen to the other episodes.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's totally worth it.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to hear Jared on episode 255.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: We have a discount code with Jared.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: So go into the show notes.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see it there and then you guys can keep using it every time you order with him.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: They're so good to us.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: They are really, really good to us.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: And after you hear this episode, bare minimum, you're going to want the endocons.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Once you know how it works and it changed my life.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: Enjoy the show.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: Jared St. Clair, welcome back to the show.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: glad to be here.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: We've been trying to put this together for a minute, but I don't know if there's two very much more busy people than us.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: But here we are.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're making it work.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really excited to have you back on.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be talking all about hormone issues and disruptors.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is a topic that we can't discuss enough because I think a lot of people don't realize how much it's affecting their overall health and more importantly, too.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, more importantly,
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: and losing weight and actually seeing results.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: And there's so many people too that are like, I'm doing everything.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I'm not seeing the results.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm talking about, don't you?
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the other thing that you probably hear, I know I hear it all the time.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure how much you hear about people's blood test results but they'll say, my doctor says everything's fine but I'm not getting the results I'm looking for.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: all the time.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: All the time.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what's funny is because one of the products that we're going to be talking about, I started.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: What was that one called, the, the cleanse, the endo cleanse?
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: And my blood work was fine.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then I went to like a specialty company and I'm like, look at my hormones, check everything out.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: I need to make sure everything's okay.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: Because the last time I told people to check out my results, they were like, you're fine.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, no, let's, you know, do everything.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then it came back.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: I was like severely anemic.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: like, see, you wouldn't even know that had I not asked.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I went even deeper, and I was having not liver issues, but it wasn't optimized.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: It was not at its peak performance.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, the first person I'm really like Jared, look, help.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: What do I get on?
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: And sure enough, I was on that for three months, plus the was it the liver cleanse?
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, liver vitality the liver vitality and sure enough went back three months later.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: They were like, wow, everything is great.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: And like nice.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: So okay, you call it like a like a hidden epidemic.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: The hormone issues are literally everywhere.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you think it's an epidemic?
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because the interesting thing about me is that I've got this long experience talking to people about, you know, supplementation and all this stuff.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: I've been doing it for pretty much my whole life.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I have seen things now on a regular basis that I never saw before.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm seeing women come in with like zero or near zero test asterone free test asterone and oftentimes almost no test asterone as well.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: I never used to to see that at all.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: I see guys in their 20s and 30s with test asterone that used to be reserved, you know, low low enough levels for people like my age 50, 60, 70 years old even.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: There's there are numerous studies now that showed it.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: the average 40 year old in America, the 40 year old male in America is now dealing with the testosterone levels of what a 70 year old was dealing with 40 years.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: So it's this precipitous decline and it's not just men, it's women and we never even used to hardly talk about testosterone with women, but it's a big deal.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: And so I call it a hidden epidemic because most people don't realize they're dealing with it until if they go to like a functional medicine Right, clinic and they look more deeply at blood they have no idea
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: right?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and I think when people hear hormones and I start saying like, oh, today we're going to talk about hormones and disruptors.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think a people automatically think women and estrogen and progesterone and like, metaphors and you don't write it and you're like, testosterone, men decline, women to testosterone, decline, and I think a lot of people are listening and I'm going, oh, geez, I wasn't even like expecting that.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: and that plays a major role for everything in both sexes.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: I find it so fascinating that you see you can see and witness this decline.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: I remember the first time this is years ago now.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to think probably at least 15 years ago, I had a regular customer of mine I'd known him for years.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: We'd never talked about hormones before.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: He was a he was a really into body building, you know, he mostly was coming in by and protein and creatine and those types of
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: and he came and he said, Jared, 39 years old, I just got married.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: We were trying to have a baby.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: I went in to get all my hormones checked and my testosterone is in the 200s.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: And for the reference for people that are aware of kind of how the numbers work, a guy at 39 years old, especially 15 years ago, probably should have had testosterone in the 7 or 800 range.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: And he said, what's going on, and I said, well, you know, let's talk about it because it was really just about that time that I started becoming aware of how big of a deal, these interconditioning chemicals that are just all around us now and totally ubiquitous in our society are impacting us and that was one of the first.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: kind of aha moments that I had because prior to that, I hadn't really had a bunch of people coming in with their actual numbers.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: We had guys that were in their 50s or 60s saying, hey, I've got a little testosterone or a little beto or I'm struggling with, you know, gaining muscle or whatever.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: But I wasn't seeing it in like 30 year olds.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: And at that point, he was like the first guy that really made me aware and then it's just been time and time and time again after that.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: cheese.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: And at regular, like, health food stores, or, you know, like, the new to shops and things like that.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think they're saying to these guys that are coming in?
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: Because you know these guys are just going everywhere and they don't have a Jared or they don't know about you that they can get stuff online and everything.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think?
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: How do you think they're handling things and shops like that when these men come in and they're like, dude?
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, muscle, my teeth low.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the first thing is almost always what do we do to raise testosterone and it's it's kind of the hammer approach.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: Let's give you something that's going to be protest-osterone boosted up, but they're not looking really at the root cause of why is the testosterone loan.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: And the root causes is all of it, right?
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: We have to understand, okay, so if this is now systemic in our society where everybody's dealing with it and it really does appear that everybody is dealing with it, then we have to recognize that it's not just a you thing anymore, it's a societal thing or it's an environmental thing.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: There's something going on that's affecting all of us.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: And yet, it's interesting, very few people talk about it.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: And if they do, it's exactly what you said.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost always, well, why is my PMS so bad?
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Or why are my hot flashes so bad?
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: But not why is my testosterone so low?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: That is something that people are just barely starting to talk about.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: And we can't glaze over it for women.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's such a big deal for women because this is something Melissa that I don't know how many people in your audience will realize this.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: I bet it's a really small percentage.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: But did you know that women as a total have more testosterone on their body than estrogen and are supposed to?
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: I did not know that.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: So that was a show that you and I discovered.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: So they're measured differently.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: Once measured in picometers and once measured in nanometers.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: And so it looks like estrogen is higher as a number, right?
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: But it's actually much lower as a volume.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: Women and men have more testosterone or are supposed to.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: in their body than estrogen, men have way more than women do in testosterone, right?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: And that's, we all know that, but testosterone, if you just think about it that way, you think, okay, so if I'm actually supposed to have a bunch of testosterone, even if it's not as much as what a man is supposed to have, and my testosterone is tanking that has to be impacting me in a negative way, and I can share all the negative ways that it does.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, I'm really curious how it messes with like your training results.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're overall health in general, but first, let me back up.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, because this is called EDC, correct?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: The, and you can give the whole name for it, too.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: But people, I'm sure people are listening going like, wow, how the hell does this start?
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like, how are, why are we getting so disrupted?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Where's this coming from?
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're endocrine disrupting chemicals as what they're called, and they are disruptors.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: And let me explain first how they disrupt and now I'll explain where they're coming from.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: So we all have cell receptors for a variety of different things.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: We have receptors for nutrients, we have receptors for hormones and so on.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: And the receptor in this at the cellular level that receives the sex hormones, that's going to be estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, is the same receptor.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so these endocrine disrupting chemicals are known as estrogenic,
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: or they'll be called Zenoestrogens.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: Zeno just being for, meaning for them.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: They come from without, you know, outside of the body.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: They're not made inside of the body.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: And they come from a variety of places.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about that in a minute.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: But what happens is because they're estrogenic in nature to the body, they kind of look like an estrogen, and then they plug into the same receptor site that our estrogen or testosterone would plug into.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: But they do something that really creates all kinds of problems and really there's two possibilities.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: They can actually go in and deliver a message that's the wrong message.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: So the cell is receiving a message from an imposter basically.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: And that confuses the system as to what it's supposed to actually be doing, or they'll connect to the receptor and they'll just hang out there and essentially it's as if the cell has its ears plugged to the hormones that we're actually producing.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: And these things are if you think about walking through a field and you get a bunch of birds in your sock and how big of a pain in the butt they are to try and pull out of your sock when that happens, it's the same idea they will connect the way the things are supposed to work.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: It travels to the receptor site and attaches to the receptor site.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: It delivers its message.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: The body naturally metabolizes that because it's a natural part of the human body and the human communication system and then at least through the liver and then out through the body.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's how it's supposed to work.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: But these fake estrogens, they go in, they attach, they stick there.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: They don't deliver the right message or they don't deliver a message at all.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then they just hang out and prevent the body from being able to actually deliver the
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: And when this happens thousands and thousands and thousands of times, we have all these cells with their ears plugged, then the body starts to down regulate.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: It starts to say, well, there's no or for me to put these hormones.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not going to make as many of these hormones because there's no or for them to go.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's going to answer the call that they're trying to make.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: And then that's when testosterone production can come down.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now it can happen to estrogen and progesterone as well, but primarily what we're seeing is a significant decline in testosterone and what is really important
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: With hormones, it's like pretty much everything else in the human body.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's never really about how much you have.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's about the balance of what you have across the spectrum.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: So like having enough testosterone is great, but not if you have not nearly enough estrogen to keep that in balance and so on.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: And so, but the problem is, when we go in for a regular blood test,
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: And they'll hear testosterone, and maybe they'll look at your free testosterone, which most doctors know, but some do.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: And they'll look at your estrogen, and they'll hear your progesterone.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: And the numbers look okay, what they're not ever seeing are the fake ones that are in there that are clogging up the works.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: And so even if you don't have necessarily too low of a number, and since we're talking about testosterone, we'll say testosterone, you can still have inter-credit disruption because the blood test doesn't show the fake estrogens that are in there
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: works.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: So then if the body is A, not able to receive the message and B, not making as much of the messenger, then we end up with this disruptive situation where the hormones can't communicate like they're supposed to.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: And when we talk about testosterone,
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: one of the things that I think almost everybody knows universally is it is a critical element to muscle building.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: What a lot of people don't know is that it's also a critical element to fat burning.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's a really important combination and it's a major factor in motivation just to get your butt in the gym in the first place.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: And so if we have the testosterone that is significantly lower than it should be especially if our free testosterone is low, we're all of those results
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, it's funny you say that about like it plays a major role in the motivation of like even getting there.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like a, you know, and if men and their numbers and their testosterone is low, I know several men and men reach out to me.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: They're a partner to a client and they're just like, I don't have, I just, I don't have it in me.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: I can't do it, you know, and they get really stuck in a lot of moron antidepressants.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, I just, how do you get the motivation like they're always talking about this motivation?
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think any of them have gotten their blood work checked and checked their testosterone levels and I think they're still this weird misconception of like oh that's like for old people to do or I'm only 40 I'm only 35 or I'm only 45 like do I really need to start checking my testosterone yet like I think there's a huge misconception around that.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's 100% the case.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I've definitely seen that.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, a lot of doctors don't even start checking testosterone until guys are in their forties.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: And some doctors are still not checking testosterone women, which is an absolute.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: problem mistake.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't need to know what's going on.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: Both men and women for sure.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: But when you look at it, it's not just that.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: Blood tests, one thing that a lot of people don't realize about blood tests is it's it's a kind of a mean average.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: So let me just give you a number at my age right now.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: If I get and look at my blood test result, it says I'm 53 years old.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_00]: It says that I should have the testosterone between 300 and 800.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: So first off, let's just think about that range.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: That's a 500 point range.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: There has to be a difference between 301 and 799 in terms of results, right?
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: But also, from 0 to 300 is only a 300 point range.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: So to say that you're normal,
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: But you're at 330 is that's not normal.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's suboptimal for sure.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's in the normal range.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: But those test results or those ranges are based on people that aren't healthy as a general rule, because blood tests are mostly still taken by people who are not well.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: And they take the average of people who are not well.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then say, this is where you should be.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: It is absolutely insane.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: But it's how it's been done in this country forever and ever.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: So if 300 is low normal and 800 is high normal, when it comes to testosterone, I am absolutely a believer that we should be pushing towards that high normal range.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: So even if your doctor says it's normal, that does not mean the same thing is optimal.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I can hear people screaming right now, going, like, how do we fix this?
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: What do we do?
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: How do we know?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to a people, we'll get to it.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: So what are EDCs?
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: What starts this process?
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: What are those, you know, estrogen, Zenoestrogens, like, are we talking food?
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: I know the answer to this already, but.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking food.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: Are we talking?
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Make up?
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Are we talking about the pesticides in the garage?
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what are we talking about here, Jared?
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: What are those things that come in and stick and bind and disrupt everything?
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we're talking about every single one you mentioned everything I named.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: Now, one thing that a lot of people do know and have heard because it's kind of made the rounds now, especially on social media as plastics, storing your food and plastic, plastic water bottles, all that type of thing.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: Interestingly enough, we live in a world now where plastic is, I mean, what would the world be about plastic?
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, my microphone stand is made out of plastic.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: And so plastic is everywhere, but plastic coming in contact with your food is a big deal.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so we now, everybody can and ought to have probably stainless steel water bottle at this point.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: hopefully you're you've already heard enough about this that you've switched out from plastic where to store your food into a glassware, one thing that a lot of people in the fitness community and you know this Melissa are dealing doing is they're food prepping right and they're putting them in these black plastic containers and they're throwing them in the fridge of the freezer for the week.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's an inter-condisrupting container.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: You need to get in the microwave.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and then they put it in the microwave.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: So we go cold and then we go hot and that releases those chemicals into the food and then we ingest those chemicals.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: And so like on the one hand, we're winning because we're food prepping, we're getting high protein, lower carbohydrate rate, you know, whatever it is that we're trying to do and on the other hand, cracks will be creating disruption.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a lot of that kind of stuff and then body cares big.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: But the thing that's kind of interesting
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: If you think about how trends go and how podcasts like this kind of influenced the world over time and get enough people talking about it, people start to change their ways, well, it's kind of like gluten free, right?
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you were a silly act 20 years ago, good luck, man, you couldn't eat anywhere.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: And now if you're a silly actor you're dealing with free there's restaurants all over the place that you could be that there's all kinds of blue free cookies If you want to still eat treats or whatever it is and that's pretty how it is with interconnectus rookie chemicals There's so many options now that aren't interconnectious ruptures every health store in the country is selling shampoo that doesn't have interconnectus rupting chemicals in it
- 25:58[SPEAKER_00]: you can get cookware that doesn't have as indecrindist-rupping chemicals in it.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: You can get make up that doesn't have indecrindist-rupping chemicals.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: So it's out there, but it's an awareness thing of kind of figuring out what they are.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: What I tell people rather than given them a laundry list, because it's a long list, a show like this that they're not going to remember, is just simply do a Google search or if you like to use AI, throw it into chat, TPT, or whatever.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: What are indecrindist-rupting chemicals that might be impacting my life?
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then don't get overwhelmed with the list because the list is going to be like, well, holy crap, that's everything I use.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: And now that's okay.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: Just find the first thing.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: If it's I drink balla water in plastic every single day, make that a bottle of water in glass or stainless steel.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: Make that your first change.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: If it's your shampoo, make it that your second change.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: One thing at a time knocks these things down, and that helps a lot.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: But also we have to recognize that even if we clean it all up and my wife and I are
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: You've never seen a house as less chemicals in it, like because we were very aware of this problem, right?
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: So we cleaned all that stuff up 50 to 60% of the stuff is done to us.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's in the air.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's, you know, you're going to do a hotel or a restaurant or your friend's home and they've got a scented candle burning or whatever it is, we're getting all that stuff, even if we clean it up.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: So we have to be aware of it.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm always talking about like the bucket with my kids and how we need to keep our bucket.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone has this bucket.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're carrying around and we need to keep it as empty as possible in our own home.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, mom's going to be a little bit psycho about you drinking out of bottled water.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, and I'm going to give you shit if you give me that lotion or you want to use this bath bomb that has crap in it.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're not going to go soak in a bathtub with pink fuzzy floating stuff that's all fragrance and chemicals and dyes, like we're going to say no to those things because when you leave,
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: We're workspace, we can't get away from it.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like you said, go on to a hotel, like sleeping in their sheets, like I don't wash my sheets with that crap.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: But most everybody else still is, right, especially industrial.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then you wonder why your girls in this country, not yours in particular, but our girls in this country are having periods at eight and nine years old now, when that happens.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: You used to happen, right?
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well, in that case.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we ought to talk about a problem with our health.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's a major problem with our health.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I call the hit and epidemic because it's,
- 28:29[SPEAKER_00]: People don't realize just how big of an epidemic it is.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: It is everywhere.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: We cannot escape it.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: And most people are still not talking about it.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I wanted to bring this topic to your listeners today.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: People think that I'm like crazy.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I am crazy in some ways.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: But with this, yeah, duh.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: You listen because I'm crazy.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: But things like this, we really do need to open up and wake up more to this.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: and start changing.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: So, I have to bring this up because I know a lot of women that they go to their doctors and their fix right now.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: I have to bring this up.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's on topic, but it's a little off topic, birth control.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: We see women in their 30s, 40s, close to 50s, and they go in and the fix is birth control.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, this will balance everything and fix your testosterone.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: I had someone tell me this last week.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, yeah, they said this will fix my testosterone.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: Hold on, I'm going to ask Jared about that when he comes on next week.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's working for that one.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's fighting fire with fire, like quite literally.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: Why it because birth control is these are also chemical estrogens, absolutely, that are being released into the body.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: And if people haven't heard of this and it is, it's on topic, but it's off topic.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_00]: If we talked about it, we get to been 30 minutes just on this.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: But if people aren't aware of birth control, what's called, now I'm gonna forget the term for it, post birth control syndrome.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's something close to that.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: People put them out for 10, 15 years and when they get off of it, they're not normal anymore.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like things are really, really bad.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: That is due to this massive amount of American disruption that has happened over those, over those years, no matter on it.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: Birth control is a mask.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: It masks a lot of the symptoms.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: You can all the sudden stop having really crazy periods when you're on birth control.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, usually stop having a period.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: and it can impact you in a lot of positive ways from a symptomology standpoint.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: But it's the same idea as like a proton pump inhibitor for acid reflux.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it fixes the symptom, but it actually makes the problem worse.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not an optimal solution, and it's a tough one, especially from a dudes perspective.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: Because when are on birth control?
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes, because their doctor says, do this, it'll fix your symptoms.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's always in a state, because there's a better option.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: But sometimes, during birth control,
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so then it's like, OK, well, now you have to figure out how are you supposed to get around that and all of that topic for another time.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're addressing your hormone disruption with birth control, that is not the right direction to go and it and frankly, in the end, it's going to make things worse, never better.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: And by the time women like get off of it, like say someone starts in their 40s and they're like, OK, I'm going to get off in their 50s.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: it's like you're fighting two battles now of what getting off of it and just what you naturally deal with when you're in your 50s.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's it's just it's it's exacerbating everything for sure.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's not a great solution, but it is kind of a solution that doctors have regular doctors.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: Now a lot of functional medicine doctors have different story nature paths and things like that.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_00]: But this isn't it it's not.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: how do I put it?
- 31:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's a very complex issue because it creates all kinds of issues all over the place and not just, we talked about hornol specifically, but you know, mood, libido, sexual performance, performance in the gym, energy, brain fog, all of these things are impacted by an unexplained weight gain,
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: can be impacted by the inability to actually recover muscle after you work out or build muscle, you can get, you can kind of plateau in the gym really easily when these hormones are out of balance.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: All that stuff can be affected.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's complex in that way, but it's not so complex in the solution.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: The hardest part of the solution, frankly, is just cleaning up your act, you know, getting the stuff out of your life, which like I said, it's just a step-by-step process.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's challenging, but it's not nearly as overwhelming as it used to be because there's so many get alternatives out there, but then it's a matter of okay, well, how do we clean out the crap that we've been collecting for the first 30, 40, 50 years of our life, depending on how we'll be our this.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, because now all I picture is like this sock with all these things attached to it and we're like, how do we get this off because I've been like collecting it forever.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: So how do we cleanse in a sense, how do we get it out.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, as with most things, at least this is my take on it, nature has a solution.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: And nature has a solution, not far of a company's.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_00]: And the solution is actually a combination of three primary things, three primary ingredients.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: And there's other things that kind of go along with them that make it work better.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_00]: But there's three main things.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: There's something called calcium, deglucrate.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_00]: There's another one called indoor, three carbonyl, and another one called
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: Now, a lot of people have heard of them, most people haven't heard of the other two, and, you know, good luck spelling in Dull 3 Carbon.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be worried about that.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: But basically, the two that I just mentioned, the Dimining in Dull 3 Carbon, are both compounds that come from cruciferous vegetables.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: So one thing that you can do, after you Google, where am I into conducting chemicals that I need to get out of my life?
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: You can also then Google, what are the cruciferous vegetables?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I always forget the fifth one that everybody knows cabbage, those are the big five, but there's like 20 plus different cruciferous vegetables out there.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: And what's going to probably happen if you're like most people is you'll like some of them.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: You won't like others.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really care which ones you choose to eat.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: But find one or two of those or three or four or whatever it is that you enjoy eating and get them in your diet.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: A half a cup to a cup a day.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: We're not talking about a massive quantity here.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, a half a cup of broccoli is what three bites, right?
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that good.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it would be.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: get that into your life on a daily basis and that will stem the tide a lot because what those two vital chemicals do is they go in and they actually they break up that lot basically that mechanism that keeps the endocrine disruptor in the cell they actually go in and they metabolize it and break it down into smaller pieces they then leave the cell and then the body is able to once it's dislodged basically able to get rid of it through the
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: But there's another kind of two points to that and you mentioned at the very beginning that, you know, when I put you on this program, I put you on a liver cleanse as well, and for good reason not just that your blood was actually showing that you needed a little boost for liver function, but even if you didn't, if your box said your liver looks great, I'm not worried about I would still put everybody does this on a liver cleanse.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a reason for that because the liver is ultimately the filter that gets rid of this stuff after it's dislodged from the cell and if the liver's not doing it's job, then what we have is we have a bunch of little pieces of these endocrine disruptors that can recycle and go back and actually create more problems.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: course.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: So there are people that will start to detoxify with this stuff and actually feel worse not better because they're detoxifying the cell but they're not detoxifying the body.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_00]: So that's a really, really important component to this.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then that first ingredient that I mentioned is called calcium deglucorate.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I want everybody listening that does not have a gallbladder to hear this, but everybody even with a gallbladder, because Melissa, I think you probably know this a lot of people are walking around without gallbladder's now as a pretty common surgery in this country.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: Your gallbladder makes bile and then, or sorry, your liver makes bile, your gallbladder stores bile.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then the bile is released when we eat fatty foods.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: But one of the things that people don't think about with bile is it has what's called a conjugation
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: capacity.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: It conjugates chemicals and basically grabs them and binds them and then escorts them through the body.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_00]: If your gut isn't functioning optimally and I would dare say that 95% of Americans gut's are not functioning optimally, then your body is making a lot of something called glucoronic acid.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: Glucoronic acid splits that bond and so it makes it so that the
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: breaks down glucoronic acid.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of the escort for the bile, protects the bile in grabbing those chemicals and helps the body get rid of it.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: So if you don't have a gallbladder, you absolutely need calcium liquid great.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: But if you do have a gallbladder, you need at least a little.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: And so the formula that I put you on, the endoclens has all three of those things in it.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_00]: For people that also need that, also don't have a gallbladder, sometimes I'll actually recommend a little extra calcium duke liquid great, just to make sure that we're grabbing all of that stuff
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: The liver cleanse idea is all about just making sure the liver is doing its thing and the liver Just like the underconsisting is bombarded with all of this for lack of a better terms shit That's bogging down things right then ignore liver from actually doing its job You should look at your liver the way as you look at an air filter in your car or your home clean it even if you're not sure It needs to be cleaned
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: make sure that you're detoxifying your liver a couple of times a year for like 30 days.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: And that's not super hard to do.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: A good liver cleanse will do that really, really well.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: And we hear that all the time.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: Fatty liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, as at an all-time high in this country and the herbs and nutrients that are in the liver vitality, actually help to address all of that so that the liver can do what it's supposed to do.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then, in what happens is we have a whole bunch of cells.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: that their ears are open again.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_00]: They can hear the message and the body starts to respond.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: So you made a really great point earlier when you said, what are people doing when they have low tea?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're usually trying to increase tea.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: And the way they're doing is either naturally.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: They're going with herbs like finiorate or tributalists or DHEA or things like that.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: Or they're going to like a men's clinic or they're into chronologist and taking a shot.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's not necessarily anything wrong with those things.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: Those can't all be useful.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: And if done correctly, I think they can even be done relatively safely.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: However, if the cells are still blocked, then throwing more testosterone at a cell that can't receive it, still doesn't do the job.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: We still don't get the benefit.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I can't tell you how many guys I've had come in and say, I'm on testosterone and my testosterone still well.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, well, that's because it's going in there, knocking on the door and nobody's answering.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: Can't want you clean it out, and the cells are open and it's like, yes, like, how are you?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see the natural numbers rising on their own, even if someone is in their 40s, 50s?
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I brought up that guy at the very beginning from like 15 years ago, this was the first guy that I had the opportunity to help with this where I actually had blood tests that I could say, okay, you know, what are we actually making progress and what I told him was I said the first thing we have to do is detox fire system because he was considering testosterone injections and I said that's fine, but let's see what your body can do.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: if we get the damn out of the way that's actually preventing it from, you know, flowing like it's supposed to in the first place.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: And he said, okay, that's fine.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: I get that.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather do it naturalists who we do.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: So he was getting his blood tested every two months.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: And he had been for quite a while because they were trying to figure out if it was hammer's wife that we're struggling with the facility and all this stuff, right?
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: So he was getting his blood tested on a regular basis.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: Two months into this detoxification program is testosterone had increased 200 points.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_00]: So he went from like mid to hundreds to mid four hundreds and nothing he took was actually protest ostrich.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing added testosterone.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_00]: It just cleared the play.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: So his body can upregulate again and start producing more like it should.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now 400 wasn't enough.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: By the time he got there, we went now a couple of months with protests off-drawn herbs, and we got him up into the 600's.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: So from 200's to 600's with no injections and 600's, at least according to the doctor, is great.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: I would like to see him a 800 or more, but we got him to the, I think it was 660, if I remember, was the last number that he shared with me from low to 200's to 660, just letting his body do what's supposed to do and
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's so important for people to hear and to know, like, even if you are supplementing and on some type of hormones or whatever, that's great, yay, but it doesn't fix the problem.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: Your body, like you said, I love the analogy of like knocking on the door, no one's still not going to answer.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: There's no one there.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: So okay.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: So what's the protocol with the endoclin?
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's before we came on I was at because I was off.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: I did my cycle and then I was off and I'm like I think it's time for me to get back on it again What is the typical like cycle and pattern of it three months on three months off?
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: If you've never done this before, and I would anticipate the vast majority of people listening, you have never done anything like this before.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: The two things that I recommend, and I actually am recommending it a little differently now that I did even with you, Melissa, because we just keep getting more data from people coming in, sharing the results.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: So now we recommend three months minimum on endo cleanse.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: Endo cleanse is an herbal complex that has those three key ingredients sent to get rid of these things, and then a few verbs to support detoxification.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just two capsules a day.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: morning night, is it matter?
- 41:47[SPEAKER_00]: I use a recommended morning and night, one capsule in the morning, one at night, but honestly, two a day, whenever you want to take it, it doesn't seem to make that much difference as far as results.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not over.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: Another question, is there anything you shouldn't take it with?
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, should you never take with your vitamin D or like?
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, not really.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, it doesn't have anything really binding in it that would grab a whole of stuff that you want in the body.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's all going in there.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the biggest thing to keep in mind with it is that it's basically all food.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the stuff that's in there actually comes from food.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's not, it's not even very as herbal as some herbal formulas go if that makes sense.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's much more food like.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: So no, no concerns as far as that goes, but do it in minimum of three months.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: And then at that point, you really realize what are your symptoms.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: And something that you can do is you can actually look, this is another thing you can do.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm giving you three things to Google now.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: Google, where are the endocrine disruptors, right?
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's the first thing.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: And then the second thing is, what are the cruciferous vegetables that I can eat?
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: The third thing would be what are the symptoms of endocrine disruption for?
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then I want you to type in who you are.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_00]: a 40-year-old woman or a 35-year-old guy or whatever it is.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then I want you to just make a checklist of, you know, where are you at on those on that symptom list?
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you've got six or seven or eight of these symptoms, there's a really good chance that doing this will improve them significantly.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I've had people that have kind of made this checklist and they're like, oh my gosh, this whole thing is me, right?
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like all of these symptoms apply to me.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: So look at that.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then, a month in, I expect people to feel better.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_00]: improvement in some way.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: What I tell people women in particular, it's really, really useful women who are still menstruating.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: This is a really useful thing because the period tells us a ton about your hormone health, right?
- 43:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I always tell women the first cycle, and nobody likes to hear this, sometimes is worse.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes you actually have worse PMS, sometimes it comes to earlier, weights a little longer before it hits or whatever.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: The body is kind of being disrupted from the disruptors at that point.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: But it's not usually severe, but sometimes it's a little worse.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: Oftentimes it's just the same as it's been, there's no real improvement.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: The second cycle is almost always better, and in many cases like significantly better.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: And the third cycle, you're like, oh my gosh, I haven't had this easy of a period in the longest time.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I hear that all the time.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: I was just on the phone with a client last week that told me,
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is the best period I've had since I started having periods and she was she's 35 and so you know for 20 years or whatever since she started having a cycle best one after three months at that point then you need to decide if you're doing really great you can probably jump off of it if you're doing good but you feel like there's more room for improvement doing other 30 days nothing in the product is unsafe to take every single day it's just kind of overkill to probably take it every single day.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: you're on hormone replacement.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: If you're on hormone replacement therapy, men or women, so if you're on TRT as a guy, or you're on hormone replacement as a woman, then I recommend going to just one capsule a day for maintenance.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_00]: Two capsules a day for that three four months, one capsule a day for maintenance, because you need more support when you're on hormone replacement because hormone replacement can actually in the end create more disruption.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to kind of find balance with that and that's an important thing.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: And do you mean HRT is in like a prescription HRT or are you talking like bio identical hormones?
- 45:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a particular one, especially regular prescription HRT.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: I like those much less likely to create that issue, but it still can.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: And even if it's we're still talking about that door knocking analogy.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: If you're
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: actively trying to get more hormone in, make sure the door is stolen, right?
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure it can, and there's no downside to taking a little of this on a regular basis.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you need the two a day once you've done that initial cleanse, but the one a day absolutely.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then experiment with it.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have some people that just do better when they're on two a day on going, and that's fine too.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: So you just have to kind of figure out your body response to it.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: But let's say you're not on hormone replacement, you're dealing with this stuff and you know you want to clean it out, then you do two months on the liver vitality, I used to do just one month, but I found so many people with such sluggish livers that they weren't getting the results that they needed and I I pegged that on the liver still not doing a job well enough.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: And so we do two months on the liver vitality and then you're off of that three months on endoclens and you can get both of those in a two months supply and three months supply.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_00]: So it's easiest for us that goes and then take a break and take a break for like four months and then do two more months on endoclens with one month on liver vitality.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: So that's basically the protocol.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_00]: So basically twice a year once you've done the initial purge we'll say you're doing for two months around of one month of
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: of liver vitality, two months of endoclens, take four months off, one month on liver vitality, and two months of endoclens, and then take four months off.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: He is kind of keep doing that and see how your body does with that, experiment a little more a little less depending on how you're feeling like your circumstances are.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think any of that I've written down.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: happy to also I'll send you that specifically if you want to throw it in show description for people think that would be really helpful yeah because I think and I know a lot of people like after I say that I'm on something or tried something and they're like oh I'm going to get on it and try it too um but it really did be a difference and I didn't even know that about the period and that is so true after I did that honestly I don't think I've ever had as easy
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's also first off glad to hear it.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's awesome to hear so often, but also that's a great indicator of women if you need to do it again.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: If the period starts getting a little worse, in women that are dealing with hot flashes and been a pausal symptoms, if they start to get worse after you've been on it for a few months, that's your body saying, hey, things are getting clogged up again, I am, or
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: And again, no harm in doing this more often, I try not to have people on stuff longer than they need to be on it and overkill is overkill and everything's expensive and so I don't like people to just take stuff to take stuff but listen to your body and take it correctly and then and then the other thing that's important to understand is.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: This is a really inexpensive thing to do.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's one thing.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also worried about when they're listening to podcasts like this.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: But you're talking about for that two months of liver and three months of endoclance, I think you're talking something like, I should have prepared.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's like 120 bucks or something like that for all three months.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, 40 dollars a month for the entire thing.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then you're off of it for four months.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then you're doing a shorter cycle of that.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's not a very expensive supplement
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's awesome.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: Jared, this has been like so educational.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was like absolutely perfect.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's perfect for this time a year.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I think a lot of people are going to be listening going like, oh my god, this makes sense.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: This, this is why I think a lot of light bulbs will go off.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: I, I always have these episodes where like people listen there just like that one.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: That episode just made that light bulb go off.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is one of them.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: off to our list.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'll say this.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: You have control over half of this as far as the stuff that gets in your body.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: Pay attention to that and you will pay a much heavier price in the long run with your help if you're not focused on what you're self inflicting, right?
- 49:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's number one.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: Number two is because it's not all self inflicting.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_00]: Whether your hormone picture seems to be good or not, you need to detoxify this stuff.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_00]: But I will tell you that even if you don't realize you've got symptomology that's related to this, once you've done the detox and almost every case you feel a lot better.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_00]: And so they're like, oh my gosh, I didn't realize I could feel this good, whether it's energy or brain fog or or how you're performing in the gym or in the bed or anything else.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: All of that stuff improves almost across the board.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_00]: We almost never have anybody come back and say, I didn't see anything.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody notices benefit.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: So those are the first couple of things.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: And then if you want to kind of deep dive on this and you're interested in my podcast, vitality radio, I have two episodes, 100% dedicated to this.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_00]: They're both like an hour long.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_00]: Then I go way deeper on how to do it, why to do it, all that kind of stuff.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I can speak from experience when I went back and got my blood test back every three months.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: My god, this is like amazing and one of the the nurse practitioner I was talking to she literally said like we just don't see this.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: We just don't see people improve like this and I'm like, yeah, okay.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's because most people aren't addressing the root cause.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's really what you got to get down underneath what's actually happening.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you again Jared for coming on.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: This was great.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to have you back because I know we're going to give a lot of questions.
