- 0:16Speaker 2: Hysterio Wild, Welcome back to Freaky Friday. It is Friday
- 0:23Speaker 2: and we are happy to have you here joining us
- 0:25Speaker 2: today for another freaky story. Maybe creepy, maybe sexual, who knows.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Let's take it away, all right, I think it's going
- 0:31Speaker 1: to be freaky. I'm just like scanning over it now,
- 0:33Speaker 1: all right, Oh my gosh, I'm excited. Stop it, okay.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And by the way, these are completely anonymous. We have
- 0:38Speaker 1: no idea who sent this in. I am a mum
- 0:40Speaker 1: of two older daughters, and this story is told from
- 0:42Speaker 1: an objective point of view, and I still cannot explain it.
- 0:45Speaker 1: When I was around nineteen and sharing a house with friends,
- 0:48Speaker 1: we had a seance, which wasn't the freaky part of
- 0:50Speaker 1: the story. However, that in itself was freaky. We made
- 0:54Speaker 1: contact with a friend's father who passed, and then my grandfather,
- 0:57Speaker 1: who no one knew, let alone his surname as it
- 0:59Speaker 1: was a foreign name. And when asked to spell his name,
- 1:01Speaker 1: the glass which was beneath our fingers, began to spell
- 1:04Speaker 1: out the name. Oh, my finger was just resting on
- 1:07Speaker 1: the glass, which was moving from letter to letters so
- 1:09Speaker 1: quickly like in the movies. It was terrifying for all
- 1:11Speaker 1: of us, but we were young and curious and silly. Anyway,
- 1:15Speaker 1: as a result of the seance, many things happened in
- 1:17Speaker 1: this house. It was unexplainable, one being one night I
- 1:20Speaker 1: was in bed and woken by an eerie feeling. There
- 1:23Speaker 1: in front of my window was a silhouette that was
- 1:25Speaker 1: very distant, giving mail with broad shoulders and a smaller
- 1:28Speaker 1: head for the size of his body. I was frozen
- 1:31Speaker 1: and I couldn't move. I shut my eyes so tightly
- 1:34Speaker 1: as a reaction to this experience, and felt a huge
- 1:37Speaker 1: rush of adrenaline run through me. The next day, I
- 1:39Speaker 1: shared that experience with my friends. Fast forward thirty years.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 1:45Speaker 1: My daughter, who was in her mid twenties, told us
- 1:48Speaker 1: what happened that night upon waking up and started to
- 1:50Speaker 1: share her experience she had had that night. As usual,
- 1:54Speaker 1: we myself and my older daughter and her sister listened
- 1:57Speaker 1: with interest. She said she'd woken up to see a
- 1:59Speaker 1: dark shadow by her bedroom door, and it looked like
- 2:01Speaker 1: a man, and she felt like his presence was not good,
- 2:04Speaker 1: and she felt us and it's a panic and couldn't move.
- 2:06Speaker 1: She then shut her eyes as a reaction to seeing
- 2:09Speaker 1: this figure in the room. As she described her experience,
- 2:11Speaker 1: it brought up the same feelings that I had thirty
- 2:13Speaker 1: years ago. I then proceeded to share my story and
- 2:16Speaker 1: told her to grab a pen and paper and to
- 2:17Speaker 1: draw what she saw. I also grabbed a pen and paper,
- 2:20Speaker 1: and we both proceeded to draw. Even all these years later,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I can still recall the image I woke up to
- 2:25Speaker 1: that night when I was twenty. Then, when we were done,
- 2:27Speaker 1: I asked her to show us, and to my shock,
- 2:29Speaker 1: she saw the same thing. I proceeded to turn my
- 2:33Speaker 1: paper around and there were two very identical images that
- 2:35Speaker 1: we had both drawn on our separate pieces of paper,
- 2:38Speaker 1: the broad shoulders and the smaller head. To this day,
- 2:41Speaker 1: we cannot understand what this means, or if it was
- 2:44Speaker 1: actually a supernatural experience for the both of us from
- 2:47Speaker 1: the same spirit, but neither of us have experienced that again.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Could have been a coincidence, or was it in fact
- 2:52Speaker 1: the same spirit got to be the same That's creepy.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Oh my god, thirty years apart two that blows my mind.
- 3:00Speaker 1: The spirit that is they must have lived in the
- 3:01Speaker 1: house and they don't want to leave. I believe that
- 3:03Speaker 1: that makes a lot of sense. But this is why
- 3:05Speaker 1: you don't do things like that. Don't do that. You know,
- 3:09Speaker 1: it's not it's not a fun pastime. No, I have
- 3:12Speaker 1: no have you I was it creepy?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah? What was the experience?
- 3:16Speaker 1: Like, I mean, it was a very long time ago,
- 3:18Speaker 1: but we did it when her parents were out dark
- 3:21Speaker 1: in all the room, we lit candles, had a little
- 3:23Speaker 1: table glasses I think from memory. The radio and the
- 3:26Speaker 1: TV kept turning on and making that really fuzzy sound. Yep,
- 3:31Speaker 1: we freaked out and turned all the lights on, like
- 3:33Speaker 1: didn't continue. You know, yes, it should happen. They do
- 3:37Speaker 1: it out in the woods. What's that? Oh movie? Oh,
- 3:40Speaker 1: there's like a witch movie where they go out and
- 3:41Speaker 1: do it in the woods. I forget, it's cool.
- 3:43Speaker 2: That sounds awful.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I how din't think I even watched it completely
- 3:45Speaker 1: because it's so scary.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Oh my god. Even just watching stuff on TV is fine,
- 3:49Speaker 2: some sheltered from it. I'm like, that's okay. I'm still scared,
- 3:52Speaker 2: but that's okay. But imagine actually being in the woods
- 3:54Speaker 2: doing that after leaving that haunted house.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it now.
- 3:58Speaker 2: It just feels like testing fate.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I love hearing stories like this, and I definitely am
- 4:02Speaker 1: grateful for the experiences I've had, but yeah, here stuff
- 4:05Speaker 1: like that, it's like.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Oh, I think it's such a fine line, hey, between
- 4:09Speaker 2: being psychic or spiritual or intuitive or you know, versus
- 4:14Speaker 2: having a negative experience, because then it becomes scary, you know,
- 4:18Speaker 2: even the whole like seeing figures at the end of
- 4:19Speaker 2: the bed and stuff that would just make me nervous.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I did have that one time when I lived in
- 4:24Speaker 2: that haunted house, but it wasn't a man. I've never
- 4:26Speaker 2: had that experience. I saw a little boy, boy, a
- 4:29Speaker 2: little boy, yeah, sitting at it was that scary or no, well,
- 4:32Speaker 2: it was still scary because it was still a figure.
- 4:34Speaker 2: So what had happened was at this point we were
- 4:36Speaker 2: living in this house and there were some issues. I've
- 4:39Speaker 2: shared this before on the podcast. We ended up finding
- 4:41Speaker 2: out that it was like a homicide in the house.
- 4:43Speaker 2: A man had, you know, his family and his wife
- 4:46Speaker 2: and all of the things. You had three children, and
- 4:49Speaker 2: I was sharing a bed with my sister because I
- 4:51Speaker 2: was terrified to sleep in my own room, and this
- 4:53Speaker 2: one night, like we didn't have any curtains in her
- 4:55Speaker 2: room for some reason, and there was no curtains, and
- 4:57Speaker 2: she made me sleep on the side where the big
- 4:59Speaker 2: door in the window was where there was a balcony.
- 5:01Speaker 2: But we had a balcony and the railings were getting fixed,
- 5:03Speaker 2: so we couldn't go out. There was unsafe And anyway,
- 5:07Speaker 2: I remember waking up in the middle of the night
- 5:08Speaker 2: one time and looking out there and there was a
- 5:10Speaker 2: little boy sitting on the edge of the balcony. I
- 5:12Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, it's the little girl. And
- 5:15Speaker 2: I just remember like pulling the blankets over my head
- 5:17Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, like you cry screen, no, no,
- 5:20Speaker 2: just I just woke up Danny, my sister, and I
- 5:23Speaker 2: was just like, oh my god. She's like, go back
- 5:25Speaker 2: to bed, Tiana, it's fine. And I was like, it's
- 5:26Speaker 2: not fine.
- 5:27Speaker 1: What do they believe you?
- 5:28Speaker 2: They all did, because they all had their own experiences
- 5:30Speaker 2: in the house. Yeah, experience, yes, yeah, And I just
- 5:34Speaker 2: remember freaking out. It was just this little shadow of
- 5:36Speaker 2: a boy, like sitting with his knees up, sitting on
- 5:39Speaker 2: the end of the thing, and it was just you
- 5:41Speaker 2: just can't explain it. It's such a bizarre feeling. But
- 5:44Speaker 2: I didn't feel like it was dangerous. Yeah you know
- 5:46Speaker 2: how this woman is saying like it didn't feel like
- 5:48Speaker 2: a good energy. I was just terrified.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I think about when I passed. I'm like, I want
- 5:53Speaker 1: to come and sit with my kids. I want to
- 5:55Speaker 1: come and hang on the lounge with it.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Can I come?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he can just make sure. Hey, what are
- 5:59Speaker 1: you guys having for dinner? Hello? Because I didn't take
- 6:01Speaker 1: all up a chair for meally, like I'm still there.
- 6:04Speaker 1: The is that a choice for gat? Like I want
- 6:05Speaker 1: to come back.
- 6:06Speaker 2: All their animals are like barking and.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, going on gosh, but like, yeah, if
- 6:11Speaker 1: that's a choice, like, I will definitely come back and
- 6:12Speaker 1: visit my kids.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I think. I get really curious. Is it unfinished business?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Is it that their spirits are always around? Like they
- 6:18Speaker 2: just want to be with the family, But what is it?
- 6:21Speaker 2: I guess I just have so many questions.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I know we won't know until we're gone.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I know I might come back on you.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You're not allow another best friend. I'm still here a bit.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Literally in every lifetime dimension whatever, Oh my gosh, I
- 6:35Speaker 2: hope So I know, right, so they can go be
- 6:38Speaker 2: spirits together.
