- 0:00Speaker 1: She's on the Money. She's on the Money.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to She's on the Money's Friday Drinks,
- 0:20Speaker 2: the podcast and millennials who like to drink matts O's
- 0:23Speaker 2: Hard lemon alcoholic lemonade, which is arguably one of the
- 0:26Speaker 2: better drinks that we have drunk this week on Monday,
- 0:29Speaker 2: this week in that She's on the Money community, we
- 0:31Speaker 2: had a money diarist which arguably made me cry.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Did make you cry?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Okay, all right, it didn't arguably make me cry, but
- 0:38Speaker 2: I did argue to try and get that bit edited
- 0:40Speaker 2: out of the podcast. Didn't win. But they were called
- 0:43Speaker 2: generational change, and if you haven't listened to them, I
- 0:45Speaker 2: highly recommend you go back and have a listen to
- 0:48Speaker 2: that Money Diary because it was incredibly inspirational. Then this
- 0:52Speaker 2: week on the podcast, the Deep Dive episode Georgia, What Happened.
- 0:56Speaker 4: We spoke about the cost of periods for KD and
- 1:00Speaker 4: we also touched on the gender pay gap. So it
- 1:02Speaker 4: was quite a passionate episode.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Would you call it passionate? Would you call it feisty?
- 1:06Speaker 2: Like you got a little bit here?
- 1:07Speaker 5: It was a bit fierce. Yeah, she did a little bit.
- 1:12Speaker 4: That's not usually my style.
- 1:13Speaker 2: It's not, but you did get really mad and I
- 1:15Speaker 2: got really proud, so that made me very happy. Were
- 1:18Speaker 2: was more of that Georgia King on the airwaves. But
- 1:23Speaker 2: tonight is Friday Drinks, and this week we obviously have
- 1:26Speaker 2: Georgia King, we have Jessici, we have Ryan John Sadly,
- 1:31Speaker 2: and we have Nectaria from up Bank.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Hi, longtime listener. I feel so privileged to be here.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I know, we hung out the other day, so I
- 1:39Speaker 2: mean we had lunch.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, I beat you, Mario Cut.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I didn't think that that was appropriate to reap but whatever.
- 1:47Speaker 5: I wasn't going to, but I just felt that, yeah, OK,
- 1:50Speaker 5: I like it.
- 1:50Speaker 2: But Niktarihea is here from up Bank and she's just
- 1:53Speaker 2: been invited long essentially to have a drink with us
- 1:55Speaker 2: one because we like her too, because I want to
- 1:57Speaker 2: kind of redeem myself from Mario Cut. But you're also
- 2:01Speaker 2: here because we are announcing a competition in our community
- 2:04Speaker 2: this week, which I'm super excited about, but also I'm
- 2:07Speaker 2: really worried about the notifications on my phone. Can you
- 2:11Speaker 2: give us a little bit of a lowdown on what
- 2:12Speaker 2: that competition is and how we can get involved?
- 2:15Speaker 5: Of course, so we're giving away one hundred members of
- 2:18Speaker 5: the She's on the Money community fifty bucks if you
- 2:21Speaker 5: send VIC a payment request. So obviously that means that
- 2:24Speaker 5: if you don't have an up account, you should definitely
- 2:26Speaker 5: download one.
- 2:27Speaker 6: And if you do, SotM is the car, you get
- 2:29Speaker 6: ten bucks for free.
- 2:30Speaker 2: That's actual free money. You don't have to do anything
- 2:34Speaker 2: for it.
- 2:35Speaker 5: This can be your money win next week.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Do you know how many people write into our community
- 2:39Speaker 2: that that is their money win, like it's great, But guys,
- 2:43Speaker 2: we know that's why we keep telling you to do it.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Do it?
- 2:46Speaker 5: Why haven't you done it already? And so once you so,
- 2:49Speaker 5: you'll get ten bucks for signing up if you haven't
- 2:51Speaker 5: signed up already, and then once you've done it. How
- 2:53Speaker 5: to enter is you submit a payment request using your
- 2:56Speaker 5: up app, using vic's up name, which is She's on
- 2:58Speaker 5: the Money.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I actually got that one. I was so excited that
- 3:01Speaker 2: nobody else had stilln it.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I feel like we would protect it for you. I
- 3:04Speaker 5: think we got that sort of relationship that would keep
- 3:06Speaker 5: that one special.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Just for you. I appreciate that they didn't even to
- 3:10Speaker 2: do that, and they would have done it.
- 3:11Speaker 5: We would have done it. And in the description you
- 3:14Speaker 5: have to make it funny, so to win, you can't
- 3:17Speaker 5: just send through a request you.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Don't find it. Yeah, what's the point, right, I'm going
- 3:20Speaker 2: to have such a power trip accepting or declining these.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 3:24Speaker 5: And then I think the most important thing is to
- 3:26Speaker 5: remember that you can also send gifts with payment requests.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Who actually can? And it's very exciting.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I mean, is it even worth it if you don't
- 3:32Speaker 5: send a gift?
- 3:32Speaker 3: So payment description say gift or a gift, gift, a gift.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Bribes and requests, so you actually might only win forty
- 3:46Speaker 5: five bucks if you're bribing big five bucks.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, like, bribe me, it'll work. Also, give you my
- 3:51Speaker 2: po box in the show description. Send all pr there
- 3:54Speaker 2: only loll bribes please. Yeah. And it has to be
- 3:57Speaker 2: really funny, right, So we want to hear your funniest
- 4:00Speaker 2: money win of the year and we will potentially feature that.
- 4:05Speaker 2: If we do, you get fifty bucks.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Yeah, and then you'll be selecting the winners from all
- 4:09Speaker 5: of the faves and you'll pay directly into the UPP account.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I'm actually so excited to give people free money, Like
- 4:14Speaker 2: you already get free ten dollars for joining and if
- 4:17Speaker 2: you are a new member. You could join, get ten
- 4:19Speaker 2: dollars and then if your money win's actually good and
- 4:21Speaker 2: makes me laugh like we're talking. If I don't have
- 4:23Speaker 2: a little chuckle, but it's not getting approved, you could
- 4:27Speaker 2: end up sixty bucks, sixty quick, sixty be funny, be funny.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I would never get that sixty old let's workshop jokes. Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 2: thank you, I'd steal someone else's idea.
- 4:38Speaker 6: It's fine if you want to refresher on all of
- 4:39Speaker 6: those rules, We're going to pop them in the Facebook
- 4:41Speaker 6: group as well, so definitely check out that post. Send
- 4:44Speaker 6: them through. Can't wait for your phone.
- 4:46Speaker 2: To blow up. It's gonna I'm actually really concerned about
- 4:48Speaker 2: my phone battery life.
- 4:50Speaker 6: If you've ever wanted to contact her, this is the time.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, slide into my DMS. But it's not slide into
- 4:55Speaker 2: my payments time, into her bank account.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Literally. If that's not creepy, I don't know what it is. Anyway,
- 5:01Speaker 2: let's move on from there. Georgia King, Hey, what's up?
- 5:05Speaker 3: Hi?
- 5:06Speaker 5: How are you well?
- 5:07Speaker 2: Are you good to see what's you're drinking?
- 5:10Speaker 3: So?
- 5:11Speaker 4: I mean this is usually Jessica Rich's job. I did
- 5:14Speaker 4: do it last week, so I feel like I might
- 5:15Speaker 4: be stepping on toes.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Is that all right?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 5:18Speaker 4: So, we are once again drinking from Matso's Broom Brewery.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It's because they sent us a lot of presents and we.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Are to get through it.
- 5:26Speaker 4: It's the hard lemon alcoholic lemonade, and it's a bit
- 5:29Speaker 4: of fun. There's lots of pulp in there as well.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It's saying that like it's hard to digest lemonade or
- 5:35Speaker 2: it's just thick alcohol. I don't want to say murky
- 5:38Speaker 2: because it's kind of murky. Yeah, okay, you're not selling it.
- 5:41Speaker 4: That's it looks like fish I squeezed slap and they've
- 5:46Speaker 4: slapped in some vomb or something.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Proper lemonade, kind of like cloudy apple Jess.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Like Mama used to make.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah, that's actually the best. It's a cloudy lemon.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Correct if this is what actual og lemonade is like
- 5:57Speaker 2: when you squeeze it from a lemon and it's not.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Like it's delightful.
- 6:01Speaker 2: But we like it. We like it. Do you guys
- 6:04Speaker 2: like it?
- 6:04Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm into it, big fan, happy with it. I
- 6:07Speaker 2: like it all right, let's move in.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Ryan.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Have you got your soundtrack?
- 6:10Speaker 6: Oh?
- 6:10Speaker 2: You just tried it? Sweet?
- 6:12Speaker 3: No, it's not. I was expecting sweet.
- 6:15Speaker 2: But it's like a sidery beery kind of just the
- 6:18Speaker 2: lemon tang.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Yeah, there's a lot of tang to it.
- 6:20Speaker 2: All right, Ryan, have you got your soundtrack ready? I
- 6:23Speaker 2: do believe it is time for Ryan's money.
- 6:27Speaker 3: So you know how last week was like small but
- 6:32Speaker 3: fun money wins. I feel and I don't want to
- 6:35Speaker 3: sound condescending saying this, but I feel like this week's
- 6:37Speaker 3: a bit like girl power, like we're going to be
- 6:39Speaker 3: really impressed and want I like, all right, that.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Kind of shoes with the theme of what we were
- 6:43Speaker 4: talking about on Wednesday.
- 6:45Speaker 2: It's a high vibe week.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, Caitlin says, I broke up with
- 6:50Speaker 3: a toxic X and I'm in the middle of getting
- 6:52Speaker 3: pre approval done on my own gonna do life goals solo.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Ya got accepted into Harvard this week. That's what I thought.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well, Dungeons.
- 7:11Speaker 3: That was well done. Impressed, Jackie says, it's been about
- 7:15Speaker 3: a year since I discovered she's on the money, and
- 7:18Speaker 3: thanks to that, I actually have savings for the first
- 7:21Speaker 3: time in my life. I have an emergency fund and
- 7:23Speaker 3: I had to pay for car repairs, which sucked, but
- 7:26Speaker 3: because I had an emergency fund, I could actually do
- 7:28Speaker 3: it without owing someone or scrounging for it.
- 7:30Speaker 5: Amazing.
- 7:32Speaker 3: What a leg an absolute legend. Let's go to Tony. Now.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I don't want to call out Tony.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You do because you turned to music quite clearly you're
- 7:42Speaker 2: calling out Tony.
- 7:43Speaker 5: It feels like a call out.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It sounds like a call out.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I launched my photography business well played, and I wrangled
- 7:50Speaker 3: sixteen new clients in one day.
- 7:54Speaker 2: That's like one client every half hour. That's a standard
- 7:58Speaker 2: working day. Actually, so true.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I feel like we need to call her, get her
- 8:01Speaker 3: on the business bible of this podcast and be like,
- 8:03Speaker 3: how on earth did you do that?
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds interesting, Tony, slide into our DMS.
- 8:07Speaker 3: We got a chat, Taylor says. Just a little side
- 8:11Speaker 3: note here from Taylor, She says, I love reading these
- 8:13Speaker 3: threads and seeing women achieving. Yeah, but herself, she had
- 8:18Speaker 3: a hair extension, makeup and bridal business that she kind
- 8:21Speaker 3: of did on the side and on the weekends with
- 8:22Speaker 3: you know, her friends and stuff like that. She found
- 8:24Speaker 3: out she was pregnant last year and couldn't continue doing
- 8:27Speaker 3: her full time job, so she thought you know what,
- 8:29Speaker 3: if I'm going to have some time off from the
- 8:31Speaker 3: full time job as well as bringing up a child,
- 8:33Speaker 3: I'm going to go all in on the side hustle.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Oh that's so fun, she said. I smashed my goals
- 8:38Speaker 3: and in December I got the keys to my own salon.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Wow. She's like a new mum and a business owner.
- 8:46Speaker 6: That's two babies is absolutely a.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Baby Did you babies? Did you put something different on
- 8:52Speaker 3: the post? Because I feel like, did you ask a
- 8:54Speaker 3: different question? Because I just felt like I said the
- 8:56Speaker 3: vibe this week was just so.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Emotional though, because we were talking about the book and
- 9:00Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh, you guys like our
- 9:02Speaker 2: hearts are so like I got really suppy. So maybe
- 9:05Speaker 2: it just brought it out in everybody else. But it's
- 9:07Speaker 2: also full moon this week.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Oh my god, what does that mean.
- 9:10Speaker 3: It doesn't mean I just feel all right.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So me being the hippie mumbo jumbo person that I am,
- 9:17Speaker 2: I just reckon people are more like engaging any nurses
- 9:20Speaker 2: in our community, I guarantee you will agree with this.
- 9:24Speaker 2: My friends a.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Sych nurse and she says, full moon there's something about it.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Like there's something about it, right, like, it's not. The
- 9:30Speaker 2: theory goes that where what seventy percent water and the
- 9:33Speaker 2: moon controls like the ebb and flow of the sea,
- 9:35Speaker 2: So it lack that if you're into that, like that's
- 9:38Speaker 2: how that works? Top robbing your eyes, Ryan, But it's true.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I genuinely believe in that because the amount of times
- 9:44Speaker 2: some crazy stuff has been going down and I say
- 9:46Speaker 2: to my partner, I bet you it's a full moon,
- 9:48Speaker 2: and then we look and it is, and it's mercury
- 9:51Speaker 2: in retrograge. That's my go to all right, So we're
- 9:53Speaker 2: moving on from that now. That was too far, so
- 9:59Speaker 2: more really quick.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Ashley found out she was pregnant in December. Congratulations. She
- 10:05Speaker 3: decided to quit smoking and drinking that day. She's like that, yeah,
- 10:08Speaker 3: oh yes, after seven or eight years of smoking at
- 10:11Speaker 3: least twenty a day and probably drinking six out of
- 10:14Speaker 3: seven nights a week. I'm pretty proud and so you
- 10:16Speaker 3: should be ash. That is a huge difference.
- 10:19Speaker 2: So hard to do as well, she says.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Obviously makes it a lot easier knowing that I'm growing
- 10:24Speaker 3: a little one, but I definitely won't be going back
- 10:26Speaker 3: because I'm feeling so great and saving so much money.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, yes, that would be pretty expensive.
- 10:31Speaker 2: How much of durries these days?
- 10:33Speaker 4: Like forty can?
- 10:38Speaker 3: The title of this week's episode be how much a dourry?
- 10:43Speaker 2: So that is the episode?
- 10:45Speaker 3: How much it does?
- 10:46Speaker 2: So proud content.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Astha, I'm sorry if I've pronounced your name wrong, Assler.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I quit my toxic job, decided to make a career change,
- 10:54Speaker 3: applied for sixty five jobs in my new career, and
- 10:58Speaker 3: finally landed when I love plus bonus money win, it
- 11:01Speaker 3: was fifty more money than Yeah, that is massive. So
- 11:10Speaker 3: when I said before a very inspirational bunch of money wins,
- 11:13Speaker 3: like I was, I was at the computer.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Along the same theme, right, like I were cutting things out,
- 11:20Speaker 2: cutting out jobs, cutting out x's yea a week of
- 11:24Speaker 2: cutting What else did you cut out? Drop them?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Did you cut this week?
- 11:34Speaker 2: Right?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Ryan?
- 11:34Speaker 2: That is more than enough from your money wins? And
- 11:37Speaker 2: I'm going to throw you under a bus, Nectarya, because
- 11:38Speaker 2: you've been quiet during those money wins. Okay, what was
- 11:41Speaker 2: your favorite one from the community this week? Because I
- 11:43Speaker 2: know you're in the group.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I've seen me.
- 11:45Speaker 5: It's true and I did shed a tear when I
- 11:46Speaker 5: was reading them all as well. Get it? Ladies. All right,
- 11:50Speaker 5: let me scroll. Oh nah, this one. I actually saved
- 11:53Speaker 5: it from memory. Sophie. Inspired by this group. For the
- 11:57Speaker 5: first time ever, I tempted to negotiate my salary for
- 12:00Speaker 5: a new job and was successful. Heck yeah to an
- 12:03Speaker 5: extra five K. If you don't ask, you don't get amen.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I love it.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I love that one, and we will be back after
- 12:11Speaker 2: this short break. All right, guys, let's jump straight back
- 12:17Speaker 2: into it this week. I don't know if you guys
- 12:19Speaker 2: heard last week, and I'm going to keep drumming it
- 12:22Speaker 2: into you.
- 12:22Speaker 3: I wrote a book.
- 12:23Speaker 5: Do you guys know that gradual thank you?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Thank you for Yeah, I know you've heard. Sign Oh
- 12:32Speaker 2: that's a stretch.
- 12:33Speaker 4: She said last week signed mine or Ryan, So good
- 12:37Speaker 4: luck to you. She told me she'd sign mine.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm actually really concerned because, like, what if you guys
- 12:43Speaker 2: all have my signatures in the book, like.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Use her credit card.
- 12:51Speaker 2: It is true because you can just go into my handbag.
- 12:54Speaker 2: But what about the people that don't have access.
- 12:55Speaker 6: To have an author signature. I don't have an author signature.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You've got to make one else.
- 13:00Speaker 5: I have to be legit. You need the author signature.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Is that a thing I have no idea. I just
- 13:04Speaker 5: found out from Jess.
- 13:06Speaker 2: All right, we're going to make one. We'll talk about
- 13:07Speaker 2: that later. But speaking of books, this week, Jess, you
- 13:10Speaker 2: posted in the group because we promised we'd post in
- 13:13Speaker 2: the group that we wanted to hear your favorite alternative
- 13:16Speaker 2: book titles for She's on the Money. And Ryan said
- 13:19Speaker 2: he'd give away book to the best one. So what
- 13:22Speaker 2: have we got, friends? What were your favorite book titles
- 13:25Speaker 2: from the group.
- 13:26Speaker 6: This will come as a surprise to no one because
- 13:28Speaker 6: I said it on the post.
- 13:30Speaker 2: This was my personal faise. You just gave it away
- 13:32Speaker 2: real early. Yeah, look, it's what I do. Kelsey came
- 13:36Speaker 2: in hot with do you Want to Be Devo or Divine?
- 13:39Speaker 2: I really liked that one too, nailed it. That was
- 13:42Speaker 2: quite funny. Have you got one that you think is
- 13:45Speaker 2: going to be better than She's on the Money? I
- 13:46Speaker 2: thought I did really well naming that book, by the way,
- 13:49Speaker 2: so I got really hard about it. Get in the bin,
- 13:53Speaker 2: Jes brutal.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Okay, my favorite was from Sam, but there were so
- 13:59Speaker 4: many good ones. It was just really on brand for
- 14:01Speaker 4: She's on the Money and it reads how to have
- 14:04Speaker 4: your oat milk and drink it too.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Like that one. Nectarreea, have you got a favorite from
- 14:10Speaker 2: the list of book titles that apparently are all better
- 14:13Speaker 2: than what I have named the book?
- 14:15Speaker 5: Look, mine's a bit longer, but still very good. From
- 14:18Speaker 5: Kim the Divine Miss V's Ultimate Guide to putting out
- 14:21Speaker 5: the binfire that is your Finances.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I like that. I literally just told Jessica together, how
- 14:27Speaker 2: on brand? Brand? All right? Well, Ryan, have you got
- 14:32Speaker 2: a favorite one?
- 14:34Speaker 3: I just want to ask if that you think this
- 14:35Speaker 3: is an attack or a legitimate idea.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Probably an attack if that's the way it's being phrased.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Amber, how you can still have designer shoes and save
- 14:42Speaker 3: in brackets? Just call them a personal value?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Amber's coming for me, all right? My favorite one actually
- 14:50Speaker 2: was dog related, which no Foody's going to know is
- 14:53Speaker 2: the surprise, And it was from Zoe and Zoey said,
- 14:56Speaker 2: Lucy's Mum's guide to giving your pet the life that
- 14:58Speaker 2: they deserve. That one, I feel like that is exactly
- 15:02Speaker 2: what I try to do. And you know Lucy does
- 15:05Speaker 2: have the life she deserves.
- 15:06Speaker 6: As someone who bought their dog gum boots, I feel like.
- 15:08Speaker 2: What, all right, I did not need to be attack?
- 15:12Speaker 3: Did you really much? Dog?
- 15:17Speaker 2: Gum boot. You buy four dog gum.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Boots on how much are they about?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Eight dollars? It was a money win. If ever I
- 15:24Speaker 2: saw per.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Boot, I'm sorry, hold on per boot?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Sorry? What was your money win? Was it about being
- 15:29Speaker 2: aligned to your values?
- 15:31Speaker 3: Per boot?
- 15:32Speaker 2: No, for four boots, that's that's two dollars per dog
- 15:37Speaker 2: o gum.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Boot cost per war? Where is it out? Still eight bucks?
- 15:39Speaker 3: It's about I was going to say, your dog is
- 15:42Speaker 3: currently in my apartment and I it was sand shoes.
- 15:45Speaker 3: It was barefoot, like a.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Barefoot derrow dog. I feel like that is a really
- 15:51Speaker 2: good segue into maybe our money wins or confessions this week.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I needed to know you surprise that my confession is
- 15:57Speaker 2: eight dollars on dog gum boots, which I do not
- 16:01Speaker 2: regret for even two seconds. Are or are they just
- 16:04Speaker 2: like a sand They're like a little short gum boot. No, no, no, heel.
- 16:09Speaker 2: They actually don't even fit Lucy. So it's an epic
- 16:12Speaker 2: money loss. And she tuned through one of them more
- 16:17Speaker 2: like a toy, like a toy. But to further that
- 16:20Speaker 2: money loss, I actually ordered a little yellow raincoat online
- 16:25Speaker 2: so that when we take her for a walk, she
- 16:27Speaker 2: won't get a wet coat.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Sounds like an investment. So you're awording vet bills?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, So that's me kicking off the money wins
- 16:35Speaker 2: or confessions from the She's on the Money team this week, Nectaria,
- 16:38Speaker 2: you get to go your second what's your money win?
- 16:40Speaker 2: All your confession?
- 16:41Speaker 5: Mine's a bit of a confession. So I wanted to
- 16:44Speaker 5: buy a new phone because I've had mine for three
- 16:46Speaker 5: years and I'm like, you know what, it's time. But
- 16:48Speaker 5: then someone at work was like, if you just take
- 16:50Speaker 5: the case off, it's like a whole new phone. And
- 16:52Speaker 5: I lasted for about three months.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Now I'm holding out the fact that.
- 16:58Speaker 5: I am not grown enough to not have a case
- 17:00Speaker 5: on my phone and I can make a phone call,
- 17:02Speaker 5: but also maybe cut my face.
- 17:06Speaker 2: That's a life loss, money loss. I'm not gonna I mean,
- 17:11Speaker 2: I'm not questioning your judgment here, but would you not
- 17:14Speaker 2: have thought that a new cover is like? Why would
- 17:18Speaker 2: you take it off?
- 17:18Speaker 5: And not where we where we made this decision?
- 17:22Speaker 3: What iPhone do you have?
- 17:24Speaker 5: iPhone X?
- 17:25Speaker 3: Can can I buy you a cover? It just really
- 17:27Speaker 3: irks me that you are going to get shards of
- 17:29Speaker 3: glass of your own phone in your face.
- 17:30Speaker 5: You'll committed to this Now I deserve this life.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I don't disagree that you deserve it. But these mean.
- 17:37Speaker 2: She's a guest and you just case that an that's
- 17:44Speaker 2: a money win. Take the case gift thanks to.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Our good friends at case to Fire, hashtag case to
- 17:51Speaker 3: Fire for more.
- 17:52Speaker 6: Did the sponsor you? I really want a case of
- 17:54Speaker 6: my case?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Do they actually sponsor you?
- 17:56Speaker 3: Thanks?
- 17:58Speaker 5: Can they sponsor me?
- 18:00Speaker 2: Go through our whole team we want customer cases.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah, they will done.
- 18:06Speaker 2: And you know what if they don't agree to the sponsorship,
- 18:08Speaker 2: Ryan's going to pay for all their covers much Moneys, No,
- 18:12Speaker 2: no you don't.
- 18:13Speaker 5: You just order through.
- 18:15Speaker 2: It's going to be great. Georgia King got the money
- 18:18Speaker 2: win or confession I have? Is it you your new
- 18:20Speaker 2: phone case?
- 18:21Speaker 3: Well it could be that.
- 18:22Speaker 4: It be that A short and simple one from me.
- 18:26Speaker 5: This week.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Guys, was strolling in Melbourne CBD found ten dollars on
- 18:30Speaker 4: the ground.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Ten dollars dollars?
- 18:35Speaker 5: Yeah money? What did it feel like?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Oh?
- 18:37Speaker 5: It was so good?
- 18:38Speaker 6: I was disinfected.
- 18:39Speaker 4: No, the whole money needs to be disinfected.
- 18:43Speaker 2: I'm just gonna say, but like, that's kind of an
- 18:45Speaker 2: impressive money win because looking.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Yet of it, belonged to no one, like I couldn't
- 18:51Speaker 4: possibly return it twenty one like I didn't see it
- 18:53Speaker 4: for someone, you know what I mean.
- 18:56Speaker 2: They're the best types of money wins, but like literally
- 18:59Speaker 2: everybody in our community can have that money win by
- 19:01Speaker 2: just signing up with that bank. That's true.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Well that's the thing.
- 19:05Speaker 2: But you might have found ten bucks, but you could
- 19:08Speaker 2: have also made ten bucks.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Gotten a great bank account.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Also, someone in the group lost ten dollars.
- 19:13Speaker 2: This week's your money loss. Georgia gains from if so
- 19:19Speaker 2: she's willing to return it. Maybe move through money requests
- 19:24Speaker 2: with those details. Moving on, Jessici, I have.
- 19:29Speaker 6: A money loss as well. I'm really glad you had
- 19:31Speaker 6: a win to carry the team this week. I have
- 19:34Speaker 6: been driving to Victoria's house quite a bit recently, and
- 19:37Speaker 6: it's a big drive from where.
- 19:38Speaker 2: It lose, and I'm really grateful that you make care
- 19:40Speaker 2: and I'm so totally happy to do that that I've
- 19:43Speaker 2: been lazy because i hit a lot of traffic on
- 19:46Speaker 2: the way in, and I've been taking the toll road
- 19:47Speaker 2: because it shaves. That's naughty. We talked about this. Shaved
- 19:50Speaker 2: is twenty.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Minutes off from your place every time.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly right. And I just I was like, oh, whatever,
- 19:57Speaker 2: it'll be like four bucks, it'll be fine. I'm not
- 20:00Speaker 2: I know, I haven't been paying them. And I got
- 20:01Speaker 2: an email being like, hey, like you have like some
- 20:03Speaker 2: you have like a bunch of outstanding things.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Pay it?
- 20:05Speaker 2: Like yeah, sure, log in and it's seventy four dollars dollars, Jessica,
- 20:10Speaker 2: I will pay that. That is ridiculous. It's so fine.
- 20:13Speaker 3: You just signed up to up bank this week and
- 20:14Speaker 3: put through a money.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Request, putting the money you request for your toll roads.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Thanks for get it, no problems. I don't know if
- 20:22Speaker 2: up bank are going to be very happy that I
- 20:23Speaker 2: keep giving shaking their head, right, Yeah, I'm pretty shy. Win.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure there's an agreement that says I can't
- 20:29Speaker 2: give it to you guys. I haven't signed it, so
- 20:32Speaker 2: you can do whatever you want, but I feel like
- 20:34Speaker 2: I'm probably not allowed.
- 20:35Speaker 3: To give it to the up TV. My win this
- 20:39Speaker 3: week is sort of the opposite to.
- 20:40Speaker 2: George's lost ten dollars.
- 20:45Speaker 3: It ends with a win. So last Thursday night, I
- 20:48Speaker 3: actually lost my wallet. I went down to grill.
- 20:51Speaker 6: You've done this recently, We've spoken about this.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I'm just hopeless at losing stuff all the time.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Our team is useless at losing stuff.
- 20:57Speaker 3: So I thought the last time I used it was
- 20:59Speaker 3: it grill. I mean obviously this burger. I mean this
- 21:02Speaker 3: body would not eat burgers. Who would have guessed I
- 21:03Speaker 3: was a grill? But so that was the last place
- 21:06Speaker 3: I saw it, and I actually went back down there.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I was like, have you seen my wallet? And they
- 21:09Speaker 3: were like, I'm really sorry, we haven't found it. And
- 21:10Speaker 3: Swan Street, I mean, if you dropped well down there,
- 21:12Speaker 3: it's gone, it's gone. So for five days I was
- 21:16Speaker 3: walletless and Bridget was like, you need to cancel your cards.
- 21:19Speaker 3: You need to order this, and I was like, nah,
- 21:21Speaker 3: it'll turn up, because I was like stubborn and then
- 21:24Speaker 3: also lazy to change the cards.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Are you joking? I would have so much anxiety not
- 21:29Speaker 2: canceling my cards the second or did you lost time?
- 21:32Speaker 3: No, I didn't do anything anything. I checked my account
- 21:35Speaker 3: to see if anyone was spending because I thought that
- 21:36Speaker 3: might have been a clue as to where it might
- 21:38Speaker 3: have been.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Detective Ryan's going to go hunt him down.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but I also didn't know that it.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Gives me anxiety, Like five days did you sleep those
- 21:44Speaker 2: five days?
- 21:45Speaker 3: Well, to be honest, I assumed I would find my
- 21:47Speaker 3: wallet like in my bag or like as I'm like
- 21:50Speaker 3: for me that it just sort of turns up like,
- 21:52Speaker 3: oh I was under my pillow, wh would have guessted it.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That was like how you lost your wedding ring in
- 21:55Speaker 2: the car.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and then Bridge found it. Yeah yeah six
- 21:58Speaker 3: weeks later. That was excellent. So anyway, a guy knocks
- 22:01Speaker 3: on the door last night and says that you Ryan.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I'm like yeah, and he goes, I found your wallet
- 22:07Speaker 3: five days later and came to the door. Obviously my
- 22:12Speaker 3: licenses in there with my dress yeah and insane, and
- 22:16Speaker 3: I was like, mate, I can't believe. He goes, yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 3: I found it like down the street near and turned
- 22:19Speaker 3: out it was near the door of my apartment building.
- 22:21Speaker 3: So I must have reached in for my keys, pulled
- 22:23Speaker 3: the keys out of my pocket and the wallets just fallen,
- 22:26Speaker 3: and he goes, I was just kind of sitting down there.
- 22:27Speaker 3: So I came up and knocked on all the doors
- 22:28Speaker 3: in the building. Oh my god, what a show, Like
- 22:32Speaker 3: I can I'm like, I'll buy you a six pack
- 22:34Speaker 3: of beers. I feel like I'm going to do it anyway,
- 22:38Speaker 3: but he was like, just delivered it, lovely guy. Five
- 22:40Speaker 3: days it was out.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Therefore, Wow, good people like that are amazing. I also
- 22:45Speaker 2: wallet a while and I went the oppos away, like
- 22:50Speaker 2: I canceled everything within the hour, like all of my cars.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Normal people do.
- 22:54Speaker 6: Yeah, and then two days later that reach.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Can you imagine just being that rich that you don't
- 23:01Speaker 2: care if other people are out there your card?
- 23:03Speaker 5: What a wild mentality? Like he'll turn up.
- 23:05Speaker 2: It'll be right.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I mean it did, But can you imagine smugness? When
- 23:11Speaker 3: I walked back inside and I was like, hey, Bridge,
- 23:13Speaker 3: remember how I didn't cancel all those cards? Like, yeah,
- 23:17Speaker 3: I did it.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Ryan's like, but what's I wrong? Though?
- 23:21Speaker 3: Exactly? So thank you to that man who's obviously not
- 23:25Speaker 3: like Georgia, who would return.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Maybe that's got something to do with the whole full
- 23:30Speaker 4: moon set up?
- 23:31Speaker 2: Would we agree? No?
- 23:36Speaker 1: Okay, I don't get it.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I don't get.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Yes.
- 23:40Speaker 4: This reminds me of Harry Styles.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Sleep story stopped Styles.
- 23:46Speaker 5: I don't listened to it, but I'm welcome to calm.
- 23:49Speaker 4: I'm tonight.
- 23:56Speaker 3: You know he's not Irish, right?
- 23:59Speaker 2: You rip session with Harry Styles? What do you mean
- 24:02Speaker 2: your obsession with Harry Styles is ridiculous. The entire newsletter
- 24:07Speaker 2: last week was like a tribute Harry Style.
- 24:10Speaker 4: We all saw him with the Grammys Throstin, but in
- 24:12Speaker 4: like a nice way.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean? It was Briston, he
- 24:15Speaker 2: was dancing.
- 24:16Speaker 5: You saw it.
- 24:16Speaker 2: It was a nice letter.
- 24:18Speaker 5: I don't think i'd ever girl.
- 24:19Speaker 4: I'll send you the link.
- 24:21Speaker 5: I'll watch it alone. That's how you need to it.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Can Harry like play us? How do we almost done?
- 24:27Speaker 4: Ye?
- 24:27Speaker 2: Harry, it's away, Harry.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Okay, Watermelon Sugar, have a great day of run.
- 24:33Speaker 3: We won't play all this because legally we can play
- 24:35Speaker 3: about forty five second before cut out. But till then,
- 24:39Speaker 3: have a good one. Thanks for coming in and joining us.
- 24:42Speaker 2: We're hanging out.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Various summer issue.
- 24:50Speaker 2: And it sounds like so.
- 24:54Speaker 3: I want more.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And that summer feeling.
- 25:02Speaker 6: All right?
- 25:03Speaker 2: I think that is more than enough from Harry Styles.
- 25:05Speaker 2: But just before we head off with l like to
- 25:07Speaker 2: acknowledge and pay respects to Australia's Aboriginal and torrest right
- 25:10Speaker 2: islander peoples, the traditional custodians of the lands, the waterways

- 25:17Speaker 2: caring and for sharing on the land which we are
- 25:19Speaker 2: able to learn. We pay our respects to elders past
- 25:21Speaker 2: in present, and we share our friendship and our kindness.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Now Georgia King usually does this, but I reckon I'm
- 25:28Speaker 2: getting pretty good at it. The advice shared on She's
- 25:33Speaker 2: on the Money is generally nature and does not consider
- 25:35Speaker 2: your individual circumstances. She's on the Money exists purely for
- 25:38Speaker 2: educational purposes and should not be relied upon to make
