Latest / THINK BEFORE YOU SLEEP / being ugly
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's also nice when your wife isn't obese.
- 0:01Speaker 2: I think we all need to be honest with ourselves
- 0:03Speaker 2: here and just admit that we're all superficial when it
- 0:05Speaker 2: comes to looks, and no man or woman wants to
- 0:06Speaker 2: be with someone who they think is ugly.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Which brings us to one of the latest internet sensations, clavicular.
- 0:28Speaker 1: What's going to actually get you further in life? What's
- 0:29Speaker 1: going to get you opportunities in the workplace? What's going
- 0:33Speaker 1: to get you, you know, dates? It's going to be looks,
- 0:36Speaker 1: a hundred times over, and there's really no denying that.
- 0:38Speaker 4: He's not wrong. If you want to work on the
- 0:40Speaker 4: most impactful thing that will positively benefit your life in
- 0:43Speaker 4: numerous ways, appearance is going to be at the top
- 0:46Speaker 4: of the list. So, this ideology has been going around
- 0:48Speaker 4: the internet for the past few years, and it's called
- 0:51Speaker 4: the Black Pill. Today's most successful promoter of the Black
- 0:54Speaker 4: Pill is Brayden Peters, or Clavicular, who went onto internet
- 0:57Speaker 4: forums and vastly improved his looks over a few years.
- 1:00Speaker 4: This is called looks maxing with an extra emphasis on
- 1:02Speaker 4: the word maxing because zoomers like to add that word
- 1:04Speaker 4: to everything. Now, just to get this out of the way,
- 1:07Speaker 4: I don't like clavicular as a person at all. Personally,
- 1:10Speaker 4: I think he's a degenerate drug addict who is modeling
- 1:13Speaker 4: some pretty harmful behaviors to young people.
- 1:15Speaker 2: An online influencer named Claviclear is being charged with misdemeanor battery.
- 1:20Speaker 4: So when it comes to online influencer Claviclear... Wait, how
- 1:23Speaker 4: do you say that again?
- 1:24Speaker 2: Claviclear, or Clav, is what he's also called.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Right, thanks. So when it comes to online influencer Claviclear...
- 1:31Speaker 4: I don't like him as a messenger, but me hating
- 1:33Speaker 4: the messenger doesn't mean that every part of his message
- 1:35Speaker 4: is incorrect. And I also can't deny that the message
- 1:38Speaker 4: is resonating with people because clearly it is based on
- 1:41Speaker 4: how often he goes viral. The question is, why?
- 1:43Speaker 1: I care deeply about the struggles of the average male
- 1:48Speaker 1: being unable to even find like a romantic partner. And
- 1:52Speaker 1: I think that that's something that needs to be advocated
- 1:54Speaker 1: for more than any political movement.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yeah, so I think a big part of Clavicular's fame
- 2:00Speaker 4: is because he's appealing to men who have been treated
- 2:02Speaker 4: like shit because they've grown up being lied to about
- 2:04Speaker 4: the ancient wisdom of being attractive matters. Understand that not
- 2:08Speaker 4: that long ago, everyone knew this. It is so a
- 2:11Speaker 4: part of the culture that C.S. Lewis wrote a children's
- 2:13Speaker 4: book like 70 years ago where when people die and
- 2:16Speaker 4: go to heaven, they get more attractive. I mean, they
- 2:18Speaker 4: used to think that sinning made you ugly, which is
- 2:20Speaker 4: basically true because people will treat you as if you
- 2:22Speaker 4: have sinned if you're unattractive. So C.S. Lewis wrote a
- 2:25Speaker 4: series to say, nah, they don't have uggos in heaven.
- 2:28Speaker 4: And apparently, according to people in my comments, C.S. Lewis
- 2:32Speaker 4: was even more explicit about this in his book The
- 2:34Speaker 4: Great Divorce. But understand that clavicular is popular because he's
- 2:38Speaker 4: hitting popular pain points in society pretty frequently. For example,
- 2:42Speaker 4: there's a clip of him running over a guy who
- 2:43Speaker 4: was blocking his Tesla, and it went viral.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Is he dead? I don't know.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Hopefully.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Should he have done that? Probably not, but the reason
- 2:52Speaker 4: that this moment resonated with a ton of people is
- 2:55Speaker 4: because everyone's tired of idiots blocking the road. But outside
- 2:58Speaker 4: of that, and outside of him going viral for degenerate
- 3:00Speaker 4: reasons like shooting a dead alligator in Florida, the main
- 3:03Speaker 4: reason that people are supporting him is because of stuff
- 3:06Speaker 4: like this.
- 3:06Speaker 3: You're a content creator, you're screaming all the time. You
- 3:09Speaker 3: think that if you were not physically good looking, you
- 3:12Speaker 3: wouldn't have as much success?
- 3:14Speaker 5: No, I wouldn't at all.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Even if you were like a genius, like Beethoven level creative,
- 3:18Speaker 3: but you were busted, you don't think you'd pop off?
- 3:20Speaker 5: Well, that's the thing.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So now you have to be so well off in
- 3:24Speaker 1: another category to compensate for your lack of looks. that
- 3:27Speaker 1: you have to be a Beethoven-level player in order to
- 3:32Speaker 1: compete with a guy who's, you know, just like, you know,
- 3:36Speaker 1: mogging and going.
- 3:37Speaker 3: To the club.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It really gives people huge advantage in life to have
- 3:42Speaker 1: looks on their side.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's definitely true.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't build skills or
- 3:47Speaker 4: a personality or be a good person. All of those
- 3:49Speaker 4: things are very important, and they should never be sacrificed. However,
- 3:53Speaker 4: ignoring the importance of appearance is completely retarded. you need
- 3:56Speaker 4: to do what's in meta. I'll say it like this.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Imagine you're playing a video game. I'll use Expedition 33
- 4:02Speaker 4: as an example, because recently I was looking at the
- 4:04Speaker 4: meta for this game a lot. Expedition 33 has some
- 4:07Speaker 4: pretty tough bosses, and you know, you can get in
- 4:09Speaker 4: there and memorize all of the attacks, do a little
- 4:11Speaker 4: bit of damage at a time, and eventually, you'll come
- 4:13Speaker 4: out as victorious. Or, you can develop a deep knowledge
- 4:16Speaker 4: of how the game works, set your characters up properly,
- 4:19Speaker 4: and do like a billion points of damage to the
- 4:21Speaker 4: boss and kill it instantly. Yes, there are many ways
- 4:24Speaker 4: of getting stuff done, but if you're playing a game
- 4:26Speaker 4: where your life is on the line, then why would
- 4:28Speaker 4: you not use the most effective build?
- 4:30Speaker 2: If I had to date in the year of our
- 4:31Speaker 2: Lord 2025, I would be very upset. I would have
- 4:35Speaker 2: to learn how to mog. I would have to learn
- 4:37Speaker 2: how to mu. I would have to learn all these
- 4:38Speaker 2: skills that I don't possess. Yeah, absolutely.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And I would say that the main reason that is
- 4:44Speaker 1: is because of Instagram. You know, maybe you had a
- 4:46Speaker 1: girl from your town who was going to try to
- 4:48Speaker 1: date above her looks level. maybe just in her immediate surroundings.
- 4:52Speaker 1: But now we've got people like, you know, professional athletes
- 4:57Speaker 1: DMing them on Instagram, flying them out. So you're not
- 4:59Speaker 1: just competing with the top chads of your 15 mile radius.
- 5:04Speaker 5: You're competing with the entire world.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I'm not really sure about the whole Instagram argument. I've
- 5:08Speaker 4: never seen that with regular women. However, I have seen
- 5:10Speaker 4: it with social media influencers. But whether the Instagram thing
- 5:13Speaker 4: is actually affecting women's perception of the dating market or not,
- 5:16Speaker 4: it's clear that dating apps are. just for the simple
- 5:19Speaker 4: fact that it's giving you access to people that are
- 5:21Speaker 4: as far away as you are willing to drive, versus
- 5:23Speaker 4: in the past, you would really only date people in
- 5:25Speaker 4: places that were convenient for you to regularly visit. So
- 5:28Speaker 4: your competition jumped by five or ten times. And even
- 5:31Speaker 4: though personally I despise dating apps and I think people
- 5:33Speaker 4: shouldn't use them, that doesn't change the reality that tons
- 5:36Speaker 4: of people do and tons of women do. Because dating
- 5:39Speaker 4: apps are like drugs for women's ego, just like porn
- 5:41Speaker 4: is a drug for men's dopamine system. Really, I think
- 5:44Speaker 4: porn and anime camera angles are a major contributor to
- 5:47Speaker 4: the incel problem. So whether you like this reality or not,
- 5:50Speaker 4: because our perceptions are all warped from porn and dating apps,
- 5:54Speaker 4: everyone's got to level up, at least a little bit.
- 5:56Speaker 4: It's time to return to tradition and start being more
- 5:58Speaker 4: superficial about our appearances, instead of allowing like 70% of
- 6:02Speaker 4: Americans to be fat slobs.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'm attractive. I never get hit on.
- 6:09Speaker 5: Ever.
- 6:09Speaker 2: And I'm like, I'm a flirty girl.
- 6:12Speaker 5: I'm a real flirty girl.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Like if somebody hit on me like in line at
- 6:15Speaker 2: the store, I'd be all about it.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I never get fucking hit on.
- 6:21Speaker 3: And I don't know why. I would love for someone
- 6:23Speaker 3: to give me, like, the actual genuine reason why it
- 6:25Speaker 3: drives me fucking crazy.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Like, hit on me.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Oh, this one's easy. Take out the nose rings and
- 6:31Speaker 4: get braces. She doesn't have to change that much to
- 6:34Speaker 4: significantly improve her appearance. And stop acting so desperate. And look,
- 6:38Speaker 4: I'm not saying that everyone has to chad the hell
- 6:40Speaker 4: out and spend all day on looks-maxing forums. That's not realistic.
- 6:43Speaker 4: And sorry to be mean, but no amount of internet
- 6:45Speaker 4: forums is going to turn a person like this girl
- 6:47Speaker 4: into a 10 anyway. But there are things that will
- 6:50Speaker 4: make her look significantly better. Like a different hairstyle. Look
- 6:53Speaker 4: how much better that looks. Second would be getting rid
- 6:56Speaker 4: of the acne. I know that's a lot more difficult
- 6:58Speaker 4: for women than men, but too bad. Third, like the
- 7:01Speaker 4: other girl, get braces. Four, never do this makeup style again.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Men hate this. Personally, I don't think men actually hate makeup.
- 7:08Speaker 4: That's a lie from Red Pillars. For example, this woman
- 7:11Speaker 4: is wearing makeup in both cases. Imagine going live for
- 7:15Speaker 4: a video, having to put on a fake face of
- 7:18Speaker 4: no makeup before you put on the extra layer.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Of real makeup.
- 7:21Speaker 4: So she's wearing makeup in both examples, yet one is
- 7:24Speaker 4: complimented and the other is not. What men actually don't
- 7:27Speaker 4: like is this style of makeup that was popular in
- 7:29Speaker 4: the 2000s. And it's the same for this girl too.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Men like makeup that looks like you aren't wearing makeup.
- 7:34Speaker 4: And last, going back to that prior girl and going
- 7:37Speaker 4: into the next topic. I would say that she has
- 7:39Speaker 4: a little bit of a double chin. If she's not fat,
- 7:41Speaker 4: then I believe she can get liposuction or some sort
- 7:43Speaker 4: of injection for that. Sometimes thin people have double chins,
- 7:46Speaker 4: and the only way to fix that is surgery. Understand
- 7:49Speaker 4: that facial aesthetics is the most important thing when it
- 7:51Speaker 4: comes to physical attractiveness, so the investment might be worth it.
- 7:54Speaker 4: But if she does those things, then we have a
- 7:56Speaker 4: way more attractive person who will have a much easier
- 7:59Speaker 4: time in life on tons of different metrics. Now, before
- 8:01Speaker 4: we hit the next topic, I don't see why there's
- 8:03Speaker 4: such a recoil on people trying to improve their appearances.
- 8:06Speaker 2: We've talked about maybe a neglect of the spirit, spiritual maxing,
- 8:09Speaker 2: but what about even like book maxing? What about even
- 8:12Speaker 2: cultivating loves for art or culture or things that, that
- 8:16Speaker 2: yet again are not exactly physical, which make you interesting
- 8:20Speaker 2: and will make girls find you interesting.
- 8:22Speaker 4: I get that people can be obsessive about the way
- 8:24Speaker 4: they look and we'll talk about that. But are you
- 8:26Speaker 4: going to tell me that people should channel spirituality or
- 8:29Speaker 4: become a master at a skill at the sacrifice of
- 8:31Speaker 4: learning something much easier, like learning what clothes to wear
- 8:34Speaker 4: or how to style your hair? Note that physically attractive
- 8:37Speaker 4: people tend to have more friends, so that will give
- 8:38Speaker 4: you better access to learning spirituality or a skill. Hell,
- 8:42Speaker 4: most things that will make you more attractive are also
- 8:44Speaker 4: things that are good for your health anyway, like losing weight,
- 8:46Speaker 4: building muscle, fixing your posture, getting good sleep, chewing gum,
- 8:50Speaker 4: brushing and flossing your teeth and cleaning your tongue, taking
- 8:52Speaker 4: care of dust, animal hair, and pollen allergies, and not
- 8:55Speaker 4: using recreational drugs because those will age you. And despite
- 8:59Speaker 4: all the people making fun of Clavicular for hammering his face, which, yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 4: that's retarded, But despite that, it's nice to see the
- 9:05Speaker 4: strong return to form on how important attractiveness is in
- 9:08Speaker 4: recent years. Probably the best example is that new One
- 9:11Speaker 4: Piece series. I mean, holy shit, everyone hit the gym
- 9:14Speaker 4: hard for that show. Even the canonically fat girl who
- 9:17Speaker 4: turns thin in the anime hit the fuck out of
- 9:19Speaker 4: the gym in real life. Welcome back to old Hollywood,
- 9:22Speaker 4: where very few people on screen are ugly.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm getting a double jaw surgery a couple weeks from now.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So that's probably the furthest.
- 9:33Speaker 5: It goes.
- 9:33Speaker 1: It's plastic surgery.
- 9:34Speaker 4: To be clear, I think clavicular is retarded for wanting
- 9:37Speaker 4: plastic surgery. No homo, but he's already there. He doesn't
- 9:40Speaker 4: need any more looks maxing.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Why are you doing that? You're a good looking guy.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Well, you know, because I want to look better.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Look, I would get it if you looked like some
- 9:48Speaker 2: mutant and you had some deformities and it was really
- 9:50Speaker 2: messing up your life. But you're tall, muscular, you've got
- 9:53Speaker 2: defined bone features. what why do you need to go further.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Well you know just because you're already doing okay or
- 10:00Speaker 1: you're well off is that a reason to to quit
- 10:03Speaker 1: is that a reason to sort of put the brakes
- 10:06Speaker 1: on that seems a little ridiculous.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Again he's being stupid however that's not to say that
- 10:10Speaker 4: things like pharmaceutical enhancements and plastic surgery don't vastly improve
- 10:14Speaker 4: people's appearances This picture has been going around the internet recently.
- 10:18Speaker 4: A little finasteride could have saved this guy's life. As
- 10:20Speaker 4: for plastic surgery, it's the same thing with the makeup coat.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Guys don't hate plastic surgery. The same guys who will
- 10:26Speaker 4: shit on plastic surgery will go goon to Instagram models
- 10:29Speaker 4: with like five obvious BBL surgeries. What people actually don't
- 10:33Speaker 4: like is bad plastic surgery. Like buccal fat removals. That
- 10:37Speaker 4: shit should be outlawed. Who is telling women that this
- 10:39Speaker 4: looks good? However, when it comes to things like nose
- 10:42Speaker 4: surgeries from a competent surgeon, holy shit does it make
- 10:45Speaker 4: a difference. Again, facial aesthetics is the most important thing
- 10:48Speaker 4: when it comes to being attractive. Like, I don't see
- 10:50Speaker 4: why this is some sort of big spiritual crisis to
- 10:52Speaker 4: want to look better. I can see why there may
- 10:54Speaker 4: have been philosophy around this in the past, but in
- 10:56Speaker 4: these days, we have technology that will fix tons of
- 10:59Speaker 4: these issues. The only place where I would say it's
- 11:01Speaker 4: a real problem is if you have a plastic surgery addiction.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Plastic surgery can be addictive for some people. so you
- 11:07Speaker 4: gotta know when to leave the table and cash out. Otherwise,
- 11:10Speaker 4: you'll end up looking like a disgusting mess. For example,
- 11:13Speaker 4: if you get so much plastic surgery that you end
- 11:15Speaker 4: up looking like the wizard Liz by the time you're
- 11:17Speaker 4: 26 years old, I'll be honest, I'm going to make
- 11:20Speaker 4: fun of you, because I care and I don't want
- 11:22Speaker 4: other people following in your footsteps. Now, as for the drugs, first,
- 11:26Speaker 4: speak to a medical professional, and I will say that
- 11:28Speaker 4: stuff that will heavily enhance your appearance, like Accutane or Finasteride,
- 11:32Speaker 4: are not harmless. Accutane is for acne, and Finasteride is
- 11:35Speaker 4: to stop hair loss. So I will say that these
- 11:37Speaker 4: drugs do have side effects. I'm not going to deny that.
- 11:40Speaker 4: But I think the side effects of both are vastly overstated,
- 11:43Speaker 4: unless you're a woman. Sorry, looks maxing for guys is
- 11:45Speaker 4: much easier. But both of these drugs are decades old.
- 11:48Speaker 4: They're well studied. And for the most part, they're incredibly
- 11:51Speaker 4: safe if you work with a doctor and understand the
- 11:53Speaker 4: limitations of the medication. I will say that if you
- 11:56Speaker 4: want to weigh your options, there are probably lots of
- 11:58Speaker 4: things that you do that are worse for you than Accutane. Again,
- 12:01Speaker 4: I think it's stupid to ignore appearance.
- 12:03Speaker 2: You ever see young Hillary, like pictures of younger Hillary?
- 12:06Speaker 1: She wasn't too bad.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Can I say something that's going to get everyone mad?
- 12:09Speaker 2: I think she actually looked pretty good, young Hillary.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Not good enough to stop Bill Clinton from cheating on her.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I'm sorry, that clip wasn't necessary. I just hate Hillary Clinton,
- 12:17Speaker 4: and I thought the statement was funny. Now, as for
- 12:19Speaker 4: a final point from Clav, I actually think at this moment,
- 12:22Speaker 4: he was spot on.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm saying for young men to succeed, they need to
- 12:26Speaker 1: put themselves in the forefront and all the other stuff about,
- 12:30Speaker 1: you know, society, the direction it's taking. That needs to
- 12:33Speaker 1: take a backseat for their individual struggle. Because they're really
- 12:37Speaker 1: not doing well. Men are doing worse than they ever
- 12:40Speaker 1: have in almost every metric. And the only way to
- 12:44Speaker 1: overcome that is just focusing on oneself to the maximum.
- 12:49Speaker 1: And there's no place for any of the stuff that
- 12:52Speaker 1: you're talking about in that mentality.
- 12:54Speaker 4: He's right. If you're 18 and your life isn't going well,
- 12:57Speaker 4: then doom-scrolling politics on the internet is not going to
- 13:00Speaker 4: help you. And also, your opinions for society at large
- 13:03Speaker 4: aren't particularly useful if you don't have your shit together.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I didn't show it, but Michael Knowles spends so much
- 13:08Speaker 4: effort pushing back on this sentiment from Clav. However, this
- 13:11Speaker 4: is exactly what Jordan Peterson was saying 10 years ago,
- 13:14Speaker 4: before his daughter destroyed his reputation. If you're asking how
- 13:18Speaker 4: to create political change and make society better, then understand
- 13:21Speaker 4: at 18, you don't have the power to change shit.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Build yourself up, learn more about the world, and then
- 13:27Speaker 4: you can help turn where you live into a better place. Anyway,
- 13:30Speaker 4: it's time for some nuance. I mentioned before that I really,
- 13:32Speaker 4: really don't like Clavicular. There's a number of reasons for why,
- 13:36Speaker 4: but for this last part, I want to ignore most
- 13:38Speaker 4: of the drama and just focus on the stuff that's
- 13:40Speaker 4: in my area of expertise.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I don't really like to talk on any issues I
- 13:46Speaker 1: don't have too much authority on.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Right, that's a very mature thing to say. Honestly, I
- 13:51Speaker 4: don't think he's stupid. However, what I do think is
- 13:54Speaker 4: that he's promoting some horrendously dangerous behaviors to a lot
- 13:57Speaker 4: of people unnecessarily, not because he's a looks-maxer, but because
- 14:01Speaker 4: he's a drug addict looking for an excuse to use.
- 14:04Speaker 3: You do meth.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't done meth in two weeks, but I
- 14:09Speaker 1: do meth, yeah. Stimulants cause appetite suppressants. I'm trying to
- 14:14Speaker 1: maintain my leanness because the leaner you are, the more
- 14:17Speaker 1: angular your face. And while I do use GLP-1s, sometimes
- 14:22Speaker 1: that's not enough to suppress my appetite. So I need
- 14:25Speaker 1: to rely on stimulants.
- 14:28Speaker 3: What?
- 14:28Speaker 4: I mean, you could just not be a pussy and
- 14:30Speaker 4: deal with being a little bit hungry. You know you're
- 14:32Speaker 4: telling your audience to follow in your footsteps, right?
- 14:34Speaker 1: I advocate against stimulants. I don't think that kids should
- 14:39Speaker 1: be prescribed Adderall at the ages they are. I think
- 14:42Speaker 1: that people are going to misuse their stimulant prescription more
- 14:46Speaker 1: than not, in more cases than not. So I'm very
- 14:49Speaker 1: against it. I'm just open with everything that I do.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I don't openly advocate for anyone to do this, right?
- 14:55Speaker 1: I think a lot more people are going to wind
- 14:56Speaker 1: up f * * * ing themselves over. Excuse me. uh,
- 14:59Speaker 1: screwing themselves over if they are to go this route
- 15:02Speaker 1: rather than, you know, if they were to decide, you know,
- 15:05Speaker 1: to stay natural.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Oh, right, so this guy's a real philosopher. He's a
- 15:08Speaker 4: real do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do type of guy. Gee, no one's ever thought
- 15:12Speaker 4: of that before. Clav, you know that doesn't matter, right?
- 15:14Speaker 4: People aren't going to listen to you saying, yeah, don't
- 15:16Speaker 4: do this thing that I did that totally worked, it's
- 15:19Speaker 4: bad for you. That's not how people behave. For example,
- 15:22Speaker 4: you have Trainwreck out here who profited like hundreds of
- 15:25Speaker 4: millions of dollars by promoting gambling on his stream. But
- 15:28Speaker 4: don't worry, guys. Trainwreck said that gambling is bad for you.
- 15:31Speaker 5: Do not gamble. Do not start. Gambling is entertainment and
- 15:35Speaker 5: entertainment only. You won't break even. You won't win. You
- 15:39Speaker 5: won't do any of that. Do you understand? You will
- 15:43Speaker 5: only go into debt and ruin your fucking life. I
- 15:45Speaker 5: do this because I fucking love it. I do it
- 15:47Speaker 5: all the time. It's entertainment for people who can afford it.
- 15:50Speaker 5: And that's it. You will lose.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Guys, learn human psychology. If you're watching Trainwreck's stream, you're
- 15:56Speaker 4: probably a gambling addict. I hate gambling, so why would
- 15:59Speaker 4: I be entertained by some loser playing slots? More importantly,
- 16:03Speaker 4: what gambling addict doesn't know it's bad for them? Of
- 16:05Speaker 4: course they know it's bad. They can't stop, and watching
- 16:08Speaker 4: people gamble triggers them to use, just like an alcoholic
- 16:11Speaker 4: early in recovery gets triggered by watching people drink. I'm
- 16:14Speaker 4: almost certain that Trainwreck just said that to cover his ass,
- 16:17Speaker 4: and not because he genuinely has empathy for addicts. Though, honestly,
- 16:21Speaker 4: if addicts are going to do stupid shit, that's their choice,
- 16:24Speaker 4: I guess. I really don't have a lot of sympathy
- 16:26Speaker 4: for people who are choosing to continue their pathological behaviors.
- 16:29Speaker 4: But outside of that, what Clavicular is actually doing here
- 16:33Speaker 4: is giving meth heads a justification for using.
- 16:36Speaker 2: If you say don't do what I'm doing, why are
- 16:38Speaker 2: you doing it?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Because I have enough willpower to be able to taper
- 16:43Speaker 1: off of meth.
- 16:44Speaker 4: You're going to tell me that you don't have enough
- 16:46Speaker 4: willpower to deal with a little bit of hunger, but
- 16:48Speaker 4: you do have enough willpower to taper off addictive drugs?
- 16:51Speaker 4: This is ridiculous cope. Every addict says, but I can
- 16:55Speaker 4: control it when they do drugs. And actually, because he's
- 16:58Speaker 4: young right now, he probably is able to limit his intake,
- 17:02Speaker 4: but it won't always be like that.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Your social experience in school, though, how was that? What
- 17:05Speaker 3: age range are we talking about? I guess like right
- 17:07Speaker 3: around 13, 14 is what I'm thinking.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Well, that would have been during the pandemic, so.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I was in online school.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Wow, I did not realize how young 19 was until
- 17:18Speaker 4: he said he was like 14 during COVID. He also
- 17:20Speaker 4: started taking testosterone around that time that he bought off
- 17:23Speaker 4: the internet, so he might have been a victim of
- 17:25Speaker 4: the Keffel-sponsored drug trafficking website for transgender kids. Also, Keffels
- 17:29Speaker 4: never went to prison for that. I believe nobody got
- 17:31Speaker 4: in trouble for it. By the way, this guy goes
- 17:34Speaker 4: on testosterone for five years for the extreme glory of
- 17:37Speaker 4: being able to bench 135 pounds.
- 17:41Speaker 4: For context, this was clipped for Twitter out
- 17:49Speaker 4: of context to make him look worse, but I believe
- 17:51Speaker 4: he benched it seven times, not twice. Still, holy shit,
- 17:55Speaker 4: you are really weak for a guy who's on steroids.
- 17:58Speaker 4: I mean, Mamdani is not that far behind you. It
- 18:00Speaker 4: doesn't take that much work for a guy to bench
- 18:02Speaker 4: over 135 without steroids. And I do want a tangent
- 18:06Speaker 4: on this for a second, because some guys think they
- 18:08Speaker 4: need to gym cell for like two hours a day
- 18:10Speaker 4: to build muscle. That's not necessary. For one, from a
- 18:13Speaker 4: looks maxing perspective, most women hate the super muscular look. Second,
- 18:18Speaker 4: you can get a pretty nice physique and lift pretty
- 18:20Speaker 4: heavy amounts of weight after some time by doing a
- 18:23Speaker 4: total body workout with two sets of six to eight
- 18:25Speaker 4: reps per exercise with a one to two minute break
- 18:27Speaker 4: in between and be in and out of the gym
- 18:30Speaker 4: in around 30 minutes depending on how crowded it is.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Do it three times a week and this will build
- 18:34Speaker 4: your muscle at least until you are maximally attractive to women.
- 18:38Speaker 4: So this is not horrendous amounts of work, and unless
- 18:40Speaker 4: lifting weights is an extreme hobby of yours, you should
- 18:43Speaker 4: not be doing these crazy long workouts. There needs to
- 18:46Speaker 4: be less discussion of what Mr. Olympia is doing and
- 18:48Speaker 4: more discussion about what the most time-efficient thing to do is,
- 18:52Speaker 4: especially for people who are nowhere near their genetic potential.
- 18:55Speaker 4: You can get away with a lot if you aren't
- 18:57Speaker 4: close to maxing out. But also, believe it or not,
- 19:00Speaker 4: these are not the only drugs that Klav uses. And
- 19:02Speaker 4: of course, he's got a moral cope for it.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I don't really think that people should be Uh, drinking
- 19:09Speaker 1: and doing, uh, recreationally for the most part. And I
- 19:13Speaker 1: know that would, uh, appear super hypocritical because, uh, I
- 19:17Speaker 1: do it a good amount, but, uh, it's just something
- 19:22Speaker 1: that I utilize for my work, for my content. Cause
- 19:26Speaker 1: I can't really like function around, uh, people too well
- 19:30Speaker 1: or be super entertaining in my, my sober state, I think.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Using drugs to manage emotions is key behavior of addicts.
- 19:38Speaker 4: That's like the number one reason that people can't quit drugs.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Let me just go on another self-improvement tangent here because
- 19:44Speaker 4: a lot of kids who are in school during COVID
- 19:45Speaker 4: like Clavicular was have extreme levels of social anxiety and
- 19:49Speaker 4: you do not need drugs to solve this problem. You
- 19:52Speaker 4: need meditation. And what I mean by that is that
- 19:55Speaker 4: to get rid of any anxiety issues, All you have
- 19:57Speaker 4: to do is learn how to bring your mind away
- 19:59Speaker 4: from whatever thoughts are causing you the anxiety. If you
- 20:02Speaker 4: can distract yourself with something else and stay focused on
- 20:04Speaker 4: that for an extended period of time, the anxiety will
- 20:07Speaker 4: go away, and when you get good at that, you
- 20:09Speaker 4: will no longer have anxiety issues. Anxiety is actually an
- 20:12Speaker 4: incredibly simple problem to solve. You know, maybe delete TikTok
- 20:15Speaker 4: off your phone if you want to learn how to
- 20:17Speaker 4: maintain focus for long periods of time. But like I said,
- 20:20Speaker 4: make no mistake, Clav is an intense drug addict, and
- 20:23Speaker 4: he is just coping.
- 20:24Speaker 1: The worst time... I got exposed for my. org threads
- 20:28Speaker 1: is I used to document literally everything I did back
- 20:31Speaker 1: in 2024 at work. And someone sent all my. org
- 20:35Speaker 1: threads to one of my managers about me being drunk
- 20:40Speaker 1: pretty much every single day, me constantly being high on
- 20:44Speaker 1: blow at work all the time, just outlining all my degeneracies,
- 20:49Speaker 1: how I was basically slaying. The thing is, I was
- 20:51Speaker 1: so good at my job that I could do that.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I could get away with being drunk Literally every day.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Right, so he was frequently doing drugs, but he was
- 20:59Speaker 4: able to do them at work, so I'll wait for
- 21:00Speaker 4: him to call himself a functional addict. But I think
- 21:03Speaker 4: you guys get my point. My primary issue is not
- 21:05Speaker 4: the looks-maxing ideology that made him popular. It's the fact
- 21:08Speaker 4: that he's choosing incredibly short-term and dangerous solutions to his problems,
- 21:12Speaker 4: and then promoting them to tons of people. And worse,
- 21:15Speaker 4: he's doing those things to achieve success and results... that
- 21:18Speaker 4: he could easily achieve naturally, because the reality is that
- 21:21Speaker 4: becoming successful is the part that's simple, especially in terms
- 21:25Speaker 4: of social media. Lots of people go viral, and then
- 21:28Speaker 4: flame out minutes later like the Hak Tua chick. The
- 21:30Speaker 4: hard part is sustained success. The hard part is taking
- 21:33Speaker 4: these little victories and turning them into a 10 or
- 21:36Speaker 4: 20 year career or longer. But everything Clavicular is doing
- 21:39Speaker 4: is short term, and what I mean by that is
- 21:41Speaker 4: that the odds of him having a catastrophic downfall or
- 21:44Speaker 4: the odds of him experiencing heavy complications from drug addiction
- 21:47Speaker 4: is very high. The way you actually sustain success and
- 21:51Speaker 4: not become one of those losers who eventually blames the
- 21:53Speaker 4: algorithm for low views the minute that people start getting
- 21:55Speaker 4: bored of them is to take the long route that
- 21:58Speaker 4: is slow and boring, but provided that you take the
- 22:00Speaker 4: time to learn and understand the principles of success in
- 22:02Speaker 4: your market, it will result in explosive growth once you've
- 22:05Speaker 4: paid your dues. A decent book that lists a lot
- 22:08Speaker 4: of the principles of sustained success is called Good to Great.
- 22:11Speaker 4: You'll do a lot better listening to people who have
- 22:13Speaker 4: been successful for a while then to listen to someone
- 22:16Speaker 4: whose game plan is to take a bunch of chemicals
- 22:18Speaker 4: that are very likely to destroy your life with addiction,
- 22:21Speaker 4: or cause you to die young from an overdose. Anyway,
- 22:24Speaker 4: thanks for watching, follow me on Twitter, and I'll see
- 22:26Speaker 4: you in the next video.
