Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I did a video the other day talking about what happens when you've actually peeled off all the fat that you want to get rid of, whether it's through fasting or some other method.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: But one of the things that I also talk about is about what you should be eating to be able to start that process.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: And understand this, and you can do your own research, there is no such thing as a necessary carbohydrate.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: You don't have to have it.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: If you don't have it, you cut out all carbohydrates, and one of those carbohydrates happens to be sugar, you cut all of them out.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: What ends up happening is your body makes what it needs to power the systems that are dependent on those particular items, the carbohydrates and the glucose, your brain being one.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Through something called gluconeogenesis, your body will actually create enough to make it work perfectly.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: That's how the body is.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: So whether you're on the side of creation, we were created as these perfect entities, these perfect bodies, if you will.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Or if you're one of an evolutionary standpoint, we've evolved to this particular level.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Either way, we do have a particular mechanism as how we burn fat, we burn sugar, and how we stay in a particular semblance of shape and that homeostasis where your body finds that steady state and operates and lives there.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: A lot of the issue with the overweight people in the world, the fat people as I used to be, and I still struggle daily with these little cravings that I get and wanting to do something that I know is horrible for me, more often than not from an addiction standpoint, because food, the way that they make it, besides the food I'm going to talk about in a second, the food that they make is incredibly palatable, full of sugar and all the right stuff, and it makes you want to consume it, and it does create an addiction.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: In fact, if you look at studies, cocaine versus sugar, sugar's right there.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: So we have to be careful with that.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: What types of food should you be having?
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: You should be eating meat, you should be eating fish, you should be eating eggs, you should be eating vegetables and seasonal fruits in their whole form.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: That's what you should be eating.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Now, why does that sound easy yet difficult to do?
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Because when you go into a fast food restaurant, it's not just the meat.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: You have the bun, you have the condiments, you have whatever things that else they put on that particular burger, so it's not just the meat.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: In addition, the meat in the burger could be have other additives inside of it that are also detrimental to your health.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: They could have added some kind of filler or a flour, they could have added sugar.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: You'd be surprised what they add.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: But if you stick to those five things I just mentioned beef, meat, eggs, fish, vegetables, seasonal fruits, you'll be perfect.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Just be careful what you inject into them to make them taste differently or better.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one.
