- 2:58Speaker 1: It's as simple as that.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That's what we're doing.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I had some more notes here to pop up.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Hang on a second.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Where'd my notes go, josh?
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'm all discombobulated.
- 3:11Speaker 1: But yoga is really really good for you.
- 3:13Speaker 1: It's so.
- 3:13Speaker 1: It's good for your mind, it's good for your body.
- 3:15Speaker 1: It's my favorite aspect of yoga.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It Really is uncomfortable While I'm engaged in it.
- 3:26Speaker 1: However, I Feel so good when I'm done and once again, we talked about this today with flexibility.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You need flexibility and you know many of you, let's.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Let's be real.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I know I'm no spring chicken.
- 3:38Speaker 1: No, you know.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah, neither are probably you.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Chances are, you're probably not either.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Hence why we got to do the flexibility, and the flexibility is often the stuff that we don't necessarily want to do.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It's not really all that sexy or exciting and but it's so incredibly important for our ability to sustain, so Just wants you to, yeah, engage in that yoga session.
- 4:01Speaker 1: So what else?
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm talking about?
- 4:04Speaker 1: The For a mindfulness aspect.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You know, as we're getting into this, we're getting closer and closer to Christmas.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I know tonight I had to go to the mall, which is absolutely hell on earth for me personally, and Starting to get kind of rushed and kind of hectic.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'm feeling it.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I feel in the pinch Like I got it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I got it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I got the pressure of getting some gifts, the, the holiday schedule, trying to navigate the schedule starting to happen starting tomorrow.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I know I've got a lot of friends already starting to travel.
- 4:29Speaker 1: So Use this opportunity with yoga to also practice some mindfulness and and just think about balance.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Right, that's what yoga is all about balance.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I want you to not only have balance physically, the balance in your life, and so, as you begin the rush and all the preparedness of the holidays, just slow down, slow as smooth and smooth as fast, and just remember to keep the peace in the harmony.
- 4:54Speaker 1: That's what yoga reminds us to do.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Keep that peace and harmony between the body and the mind so we can survive, so we cannot throw punch that family member that we want to typically throw punch to give us some peace and calm.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Right, and then you once again share that, that, that, that, that great meal that you'd like to share with everyone else, the recipe, right, and so that's it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So that's it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Holidays can be joyful, but it can also feel like juggling a bunch of responsibilities, a bunch of festivities, a lot of different emotions.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yoga is really good for balancing that, and so it just your physical fitness in general.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So that's why we're doing this 12 days of fitness, so we can maintain the momentum, maintain our mind and our body to get through this holiday hustle.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And Just remember the holidays aren't about perfection, it's not about doing all the things and people pleasing everyone.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It's about finding moments of peace and finding meaning for yourself.
- 5:53Speaker 1: What is the meaning of the holidays for yourself?
- 5:56Speaker 1: And Just, just remember that you don't have to participate in all the chaos.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I think yoga in the physical fitness helps ground you.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Take the time also to do some meditation and soul the mind.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's one of my favorite things about yoga is the corpse pose, where you're the very last move, where you're laying there and you're just in silence with your eyes closed for five minutes.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I try to least lay there for five minutes and and and it really does center you really well.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So let's embrace the holiday season.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It's not a time of overwhelm, unless you choose to let it be and use it as an opportunity to cultivate connection and peace and balance.
- 6:37Speaker 1: And and that's it.
- 6:39Speaker 1: That is day nine.
