- Jessica Figueroa: Hi everyone, my name is Cindy Morler. You're listening to the Just For Today podcast, where we do things just for today. We take little actions, and sometimes those actions are thinking every day, and those little actions lead up to big changes. So today we are going to do 20 lunges. You can choose a side lunge, you can choose a front lunge, you could choose a one-legged lunge, you could choose your lunges, but we're going to do 20 lunges. Why are we going to do 20 lunges? Because it's simple. Because you don't even have to do them all at one time. You're gonna do them at some point in your 14 to 16 hours, you're awake. I want you to get in 20 lunges. Why? Because our legs have so many muscles, our quadriceps, our hamstrings, our glutes, our calves, and working out our leg muscles and keeping our legs strong improves our balance and our posture. And it just gets a heart rate boost, which then gives us some a burst of energy. It adds so much value and it's so simple. And imagine if you were in the habit, if you were in the habit of doing 20 lunges a day, you could do them while you're brushing your teeth. But if you were in the habit of doing 20 lunges a day, you would do 7,300 lunges in a year. Imagine how would you feel if in this next 12 months you did 7,300 lunges? And all you have to do is do 20 in the day. Five here, five there, 10 in the morning. 10 at night, knock out all 20. These are these little changes that add up to big, big results. So just for today, squeeze in 20 lunges. All right. That's it. However, you want to get them in, let's get them in and let's get the largest muscles in our body working and feeling good so we can feel strong. Because when we feel strong, we think well, we make good decisions, we're happy, it boosts energy. There's so many benefits. So just for today, Get in those lunges and I can't wait to talk to you guys tomorrow. You might even be sore sometimes if I haven't done this in a while, then I even get sore. But that will feel good too. And I love doing things that make me feel good the next day. I'll talk to you guys tomorrow. Bye.
