- Jessica Figueroa: Hey everyone, do I love what we get to do here together? This is Cindy Marlar with your Just For Today podcast. And today, what we are gonna do just for today is we're gonna press our clothing. And if you've never used that word, I learned that word from my stepmom. So you don't iron your clothes, you press them. Now that's also something you learned new today, didn't you? Ironing is not the verb, pressing is the verb. Maybe this has shifted over the years. But just for today, we're gonna press our clothing. Even if you're wearing a t-shirt and leggings today, you're gonna get out that iron, you're gonna get out that ironing board, and you are going to press your clothes. Press the leggings, press it all, press the entire outfit. Just for today, we're gonna leave with the least wrinkly clothing on our body that has ever existed. You don't have to do your hair, you don't have to do your makeup. If you're a man, you do need to brush your teeth. But just for today, we are going to press our clothing. I don't know if this will be have a big impact on it on your day or not. Maybe it will, maybe or won't. But just for today, we're going to press our clothes. No clothes too fancy, no clothes too casual. They're all getting pressed. That's right. You're wearing are you wearing athletic shorts today? Press them. Are you going to wear socks today? Press them. That's it. We're not going to overthink this. We're just going to press them. I'm Cindy Marlar here, changing your life one minute at a time by doing things. Just for today.
