- Jessica Figueroa: Hello everyone. I want to talk about isolation today. What do you guys think the difference between being isolated and being alone is? You know, it's very trendy, do solo trips, solo this. You know, I'm in a solo part of my life going through a divorce where I'm doing things alone that I've never done before, even if it's simply going to a restaurant or shopping or making decisions, I'm in a a solo kind of place in my life. But let's talk about the difference. Being isolated and being alone. So we can isolate ourselves, can't we? Or we can be isolated by other people. Maybe someone had this big party and didn't invite you. They isolated you. But maybe you isolate yourself by not jumping in, by not joining, by not reaching out. Well, isolation is a playground that the enemy loves to play in. Boy, does he love isolation because when we're isolated, he can do his best work. So let's make sure of the areas in our life. Let's discern the difference between being alone and being isolated. Let's look at the situations where we're being isolated by others or where we're isolating ourselves. And let's try to avoid isolation with our faith, with our physical, with our mindset, with our career. Nothing good happens in isolation, which is different. Than being alone and being okay being alone. Just something to think about. Maybe look up these definitions. Maybe write down your own definition of these words and cultivate what to you is the difference. Because each person is different. Each person requires a different amount of alone time and togetherness. And this is something you have to get to know about yourself. So you can avoid isolation where the enemy would just love to meet you. All right, guys, let's stay away from being and feeling isolated. To the best of our ability. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
