- Cindy Marler: Good morning, everyone. There was a study done by Harvard over a long period of time, I think 60, 80 years of people. And they were looking for the source of happiness for life. And it's a very popular study because I think it's the longest one ever done. But I'll sum it up for you. But you can also chat it or Google it. And it's basically community, it's people. So that's why we spent a lot of time on this podcast talking about improving our relationships with other people, with ourselves, with the Lord, because it is one of the largest sources of happiness. So I am going on a very special trip to Japan with my children, very excited about it. And then my parents came over and brought a map of Japan. Actually, they checked it out from the library. Did you know you could check out maps from the library? I did not. That is the value of older people in your life. They just know things, right? So we have this whole map of Japan laid out. And my mom is showing us where we're going and everything. It was so fun. Well, when it came time, she accidentally left the map at my house, which I need to get back to her. And I was trying to fold the map back up. And of course, I'm trying to fold it up how it was folded to begin with. And I got halfway there. How many times have you done this? With a tent, with a car shade, with a map. And I only got it halfway there. But of course, I wanna, if I tried to force it, it's not gonna work. But did you know people are like this? People have a way that they bend. They have a system that you can fold them. And if you don't learn to bend with their bends, Then you're kind of going against how they were made. So studying people, learning about people, especially those that you're interacting with closest in your life, is brings a lot of value because when you learn how to fold their map the way it was meant to be folded, it causes a lot less problems. Because if I were to try to force this map the other halfway in a way that it's never been folded before, it's going to look different. So I want you to practice folding the maps of the people in your life the way they were bent. Fold them the way that they are bent, not the way you want them to be, not the way you think is right or the way it should go, but the way it already is, the way that God made them. This is gonna bring a lot of value in your lives learning this skill. I'll talk to you guys tomorrow.
