At that time Jesus said to his disciples, If any man come to me
• 0:40
and hate not his father and mother, and wife, and children,
• 0:46
and brethren and sisters, yeah, and his own life also, he cannot
• 0:52
be my disciple. Whosoever does not carry his
• 0:56
cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.
• 1:01
For which of you, having a mind to build a tower, does not first
• 1:05
sit down and reckon the charges that are necessary, whether he
• 1:10
have wherewithal to finish it, lest after he hath laid the
• 1:15
foundation and is not able to finish it, all that see it begin
• 1:20
to mock him, saying this man began to build and was not able
• 1:25
to finish? Or what king, about to go to
• 1:28
make war against another king, does not first sit down and
• 1:33
think whether he be able with 10,000 to meet him, that with
• 1:38
20,000 cometh against him, or else, while the other is yet
• 1:43
afar off sending an embassy, he desireth conditions of peace.
• 1:50
So likewise, everyone of you that does not renounce all that
• 1:56
he possesses cannot be my disciple.
