  Constance Lavonice: We talked about the importance of knowing who we are in Christ, that we already have the victory over any scheme of the devil.

  Constance Lavonice: We already have the victory in Christ because of who we are, our identity.

  Constance Lavonice: The Bible exhorts us to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might to put on the full armor of God so that we will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

  Constance Lavonice: One way to stand firm and to have victory throughout your life is to know who you are in Christ, your identity.

  Constance Lavonice: You are the daughter of the Most High, creator of heaven and earth.

  Constance Lavonice: You have the power of Christ within you, and you can overcome all things through the power of the Holy Spirit that resides within you.

  Constance Lavonice: God loves us, but some of us have difficulty believing that God can really love me.

  Constance Lavonice: And if you're one of those persons who can imagine God loving everyone else, but you question if he really loves you, or if you have a hard time with the concept of Father God, Abba God loving you, or imagining him as a God who loves because of your past experiences with your own earthly father or men in authority in your life.

  Constance Lavonice: If you are imagining or wondering if God can really love you, He can.

  Constance Lavonice: The Bible tells us that you, we are His masterpiece, and you have been created for good works.

  Constance Lavonice: God so loved the world that He gave His only Son to die for us, to die for you.

  Constance Lavonice: God's love can never be taken away from you.

  Constance Lavonice: God's grace has saved you.

  Constance Lavonice: Not through our own works, not because of how wonderful we are.

  Constance Lavonice: No, He doesn't look on the outside.

  Constance Lavonice: God doesn't judge you from your past experience.

  Constance Lavonice: God sees you as his child.

  Constance Lavonice: And he said that it was good.

  Constance Lavonice: When he looked at his creation, he said it was good.

  Constance Lavonice: I just want to remind someone who's listening, all of us, that God loves us and to be resilient, to be able to go through the ups and downs of life, knowing who you are, your identity, and also knowing that God loves you will help you to flourish in life.

  Constance Lavonice: Jesus said that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come to give you life and to give you life more abundantly.

  Constance Lavonice: When you know the love of God, you begin to live life abundantly the way God designed for you to live, to reach your full potential.

  Constance Lavonice: So if you're having trouble believing that God, a holy God, really loves you.

  Constance Lavonice: He wants you to be renewed in your mind.

  Constance Lavonice: How do you renew your mind?

  Constance Lavonice: Open the Word of God.

  Constance Lavonice: Open the Bible.

  Constance Lavonice: Read the Bible and ask God to speak to you as you read his word.

  Constance Lavonice: I mentioned this last week.

  Constance Lavonice: Look at Ephesians chapter one, verses three through seven, where God tells you who you are in Christ, your identity.

  Constance Lavonice: And as you read the Bible, look at God's character.

  Constance Lavonice: Seek to see his character and his ways.

  Constance Lavonice: Look at the life of Jesus, Jesus, the physical manifestation of the invisible God.

  Constance Lavonice: Observe his ways, listen to his words as you read the Gospels, the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

  Constance Lavonice: The only way to know that you're loved by someone is to spend time with them, get to know them, observe their ways, what they say, what they do.

  Constance Lavonice: And as you begin to read the Bible, you'll see the character of God.

  Constance Lavonice: You'll see his love, compassion, and his mind for us as the people that he created, the woman that he created.

  Constance Lavonice: And when you know this in your heart, it will transform your life.
