Why does Zelenskyy feel confident enough to send a 'cheeky' letter to Putin
Ukraine has demonstrated its increasingly deep-seated attack capabilities within Russia. Just before the letter was sent, long-range Ukrainian drones successfully destroyed an oil refinery and naval base in St. Petersburg , Putin's hometown, coinciding with the opening of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). This demonstrates that Russia's interior is no longer safe.
