- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Bump bum bum.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to another week of Health Unscripted with Dr.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: D.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to put my phone on Do Not Disturb so that we can fully dive into the topic at hand today.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Because y'all know I love my favorite pastime is ripping fad diets a new one.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: I freaking love it.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: I love it because there's so much misinformation out there, and so many people fall for it.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: And I get it.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: I used to do the, I used to do it too.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: I used to fall for all of this stuff too and be like, it sounds amazing.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: It sounds so good to be true.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: I want to do this because they make it seem so easy.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: They make it seem so effortless.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: But here's the problem effortless does not mean lack of consequences.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Effortless and easy doesn't necessarily mean quality.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: I posted something on my Instagram last week that fast, cheap, quick, and quality do not go together.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Fast, quick, wait, I think I said those, you know, two of those meant the same thing.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Fast, quick, no, fast, cheap, and easy.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Fast, cheap, and easy.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Do not go hand in hand with quality.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: You can't get all four at the same time.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Wow, guys.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: It's cool.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: You guys are used to me by now.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: So if I had the reason I like fat diets is because if I break it down to you, you're like, oh my God, that sounds like the worst thing ever.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Who's actually gonna sign up for that?
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And then you're like, oh, they're making a multi-million dollar business on this shit.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: So I've made it one of my pastimes, one of my favorite hobbies to dismantle that and let you guys know the truth.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: So that, you know, yeah, there's some bias out there, some bias, because, you know, I really hate it and I don't think it's a great option for anyone.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: But you can again make informed decisions for yourself and choose what you think is best for you at the time.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: So um I am gonna trash talk a little today because I don't, there's there's one positive thing I see about this fad diet scheme, and I'll go over that.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: But today, imagine this, okay?
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Imagine this.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: I come to you on the street or I come to you talking to you, and I'm like, hey, how would you like to sign up for a plan where you're only eating a thousand calories a day and you're not even eating enough to be able to exercise?
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Does that sound good?
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Is that like something you want to do?
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Or how about the fact that all of the things you get to eat are products you have to buy and they're mostly full of anti, or excuse me, they're mostly full of inflammatory ingredients and they may upset your stomach.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Does that sound awesome too?
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I think that sounds awesome.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, and the final caveat is what if I also told you it's like$400 a month?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Are you down?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Like, are you in?
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: This sounds amazing.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: You'll lose the weight for sure, but then you won't get to keep it.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I think this is a shoe in, sign me up.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: You'd be like, fuck no, get away from me.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Who is this?
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: This sounds horrible.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Unfortunately, many people sign up for Octavia every single day.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly what it is.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what happens in Octavia.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: So in this episode, we're gonna be breaking down the what I call fad diet Octavia and what it offers, what it is.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: So let's dive in.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: If you have not heard of Octavia, just check out the website.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Just go to the website, check it out.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: They offer different plans, but most people start with their five-in-one plan.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: So Octavia operates off of four pillars: community, coaches, fuelings, and uh, I have this stuff written down.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Four pillars of success: a personal coach, community, habits of health model, and their own products.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: That's right, habits of health model.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: So they claim that their approach is like radically different from everything else on the market, and that it was put together by scientists and doctors and dietitians, and that it literally takes the guesswork out of weight loss.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: The problem is it takes the guesswork out of weight loss because you have to buy their products.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: And that's why you don't really have to think about what to eat.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It's available to you.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: But then you look at the ingredients of these products and you're like, first of all, why does this granola bar have like 30 ingredients and I don't even know how to pronounce some of these?
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: And they're all full of soy and dairy, which are the one of the top two, two of the top seven allergens in the world, and what most people have inflammatory responses towards dairy and soy.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: So that's a problem as well.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: But we dive into, we dive deeper into Octavia and you go through their plans, and what most people start with is their five-in-one plan, which means five fuelings, which are their products that you get to choose from, whether it be bars, meals, etc.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Even like the chicken dishes have soy in it.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I don't get it.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: You got chicken, right?
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Just add more chicken.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So five of their fuelings and one leaning green meal.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: They give you recipes for these leaning green meals, which make it easier, and that's great.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: But the leaning green meals, according to their website, are carb-controlled, so low carb, mostly, you know, veggies and lean sources of protein and small protein at that.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: So you're literally eating nothing.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: The standard person who joins Octavia and does the five in one is eating anywhere from 900 calories to 1100 calories a day.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: It is actually written as a disclaimer.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: We do not recommend you exercise while doing the five in one plan.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: What kind of diet is that if you can't even exercise?
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: So I will say I'm very passionate about this, and I have examples already to give because we've worked with numerous clients who've come from Octavia, numerous, where we've literally had to throw them right into a reverse diet immediately because they were eating nothing and they were having a lot of gut discomfort, a lot of stomach issues, and just burnt out.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: And I get it, you don't even have enough calories to be happy.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: There are no carbs.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Where are we gonna be happy there?
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: So a lot of people were irritable.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: We've just we've dealt with so many.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: I had one client who I got on the phone with her, or we got on the phone with her, and she didn't even have enough energy to walk around her block because of how much she was eating on this plan.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: That is a huge red flag to me.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Huge red flag.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: So they start you off with this five and one, and then they have this like transition model, as they call it.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: So you do the five and one, and then you go into the four and two and one, which is four fuelings, two leaning green meals, and then a snack, which is a fancy way of saying it's another fueling, because they offer snacks on their website.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: And then you would transition into their maintenance model, which is three and three, which is three fuelings and three balanced meals throughout the day.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: So the reason I don't love this and I don't think it's sustainable is because any diet or any weight loss approach where you have to rely on another company's products to lose the weight is not sustainable.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: That means like you can never stop using them or you can never get out of the plan.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's sustainable.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Who wants to be stuck on a product for life?
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: What if this company goes out of business?
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Then you just lose your results because you can't buy their products anymore.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Like, obviously, it's a great business model.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: It's a poor client uh morality model.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: Like it's not really good for clients and patients, right?
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: And then you're making your products heavily, heavily, heavily processed.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: And if we've seen in nutrition coaching and health all over the place, the recommendation is more whole foods.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: So I would even suggest having three and like four or five lean and green meals a day, but not so much carb controlled.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: It depends on the person, right?
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Would be healthier than having these fuelings because you're getting in veggies, you're getting in protein at every meal.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: They're more whole foods than something that's been processed and put in a container that you warm up.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: Okay, right.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: So that is number one why I do not love Octavia.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: So those are their plan structures.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: So the five and one, the four and two and one, and the three and three.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: So obviously, as you get higher up, you will eat more calories, I hope.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: But the five and one is what most people are on and they stay on.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: And I hate it.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: I hate it with a passion because of just the side effects that I've heard and how little they're having people eat.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: And so that's number one.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: So the fuelings that they offer, um, you have to choose three to five of these a day.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: And they range anywhere from like$22 on their website up to$30 for six to seven servings.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: That's$21 to$30 a week just on one fueling.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: And as we know and what we've learned, people don't like to eat the same things every day.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna have to buy multiple fuelings to get you through.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: And in fact, if you look on their website, their prices are very much on there, which is great.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: But their five-in-one plan with you know, the fuelings that you should need for a month is$400 a month.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: So people are paying$400 a month simply for the food, the fuelings, all of that.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: And that's really pricey, especially when you can hire a coach for less and actually learn something from the program and not be reliant on a product.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: I just think, again, you know, and this might be conflicting, conflict or, you know, contradictory opinions or unpopular opinion, but I think people will spend more money for ease and convenience, not realizing that you can't ease and convenience your way into health.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: You can't.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Like I know there's a big thing for biohacking and all this stuff out there, but the true things that are actually biohacking your health and helping helping you live longer are practices that are healthy for you and that actually take a lot of time, like red light therapy, sunshine, saunas, like certain vitamins, like those are actual biohacking and helping your health.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: You can't ease inconvenience your way into a healthier body.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: It's not going to happen.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: There's always gonna be consequences.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And the consequences of eating so low calorie, especially on Octavia, are gonna be hormone disruption completely.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: Women will possibly, you know, depending on how long you're doing this plan, will lose their menstrual cycles because it's not enough food to even sustain their bodies, much less than hormones and procreation.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have thyroid disruption, we're going to have just overall probably cortisol increase because of stress and under-eating.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: We're not exercising.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: So we're taking out that mental health component completely.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Uh, we're eating inflammatory products, which is going to mess up our stomach.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: We're probably gonna have a lot of gas, we're probably gonna have a lot of constipation.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: Why does this sound like a good time?
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: It doesn't, right?
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: But it gets better.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: It gets better.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: So you buy these fuelings and they're very much GMO, like they're not non-GMO.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: And if most things are made out of soy, you want non-GMO soy.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: You do.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Um, soy is very, very heavily genetically modified.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: So that's not an option either for them.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: So you have to worry about food quality here.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: And then let's break down the coaches.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: Let's get into the coaches, shall we?
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Straight off of their website, it says about 90% of Octavia coaches were clients first.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: What does this mean?
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: This means that they're not actually certified coaches, they are essentially sponsors.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: I, you know, I'm not relating this back to like AA or any type of whatever anonymous, but you don't have any credentials at all.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: You're just someone's like hype person.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: You're like the cheerleader or the motivator or making sure that they stay on track.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: You're kind of a sponsor.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: Uh, you're not a coach.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: And, you know, if people are listening to this who are Octavia coaches, um and you are certified, like you are the 1%.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: The fact that 90% were clients first, if you were a real coach and a real credible certified coach, you would understand that this product is actually very harmful for people and you wouldn't be promoting it.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: But why do people become coaches?
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: Why are there Octavia coaches then?
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: And it's because Octavia coaches in an MLME way, of course, this company had to be a pyramid scheme of some sort, get a percentage paid out to them from the client for purchasing fuelings through them.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: So they get a kickback.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: So that is the incentive to become a coach.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: It's not only like, hey, this program worked amazing for me.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: I want to scream it from the rooftops.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: It's because, oh, I did this program and I also want to make a little bit of money because yeah, it's freaking expensive and I want to make some of that back.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: So coaches get a kickback, which is very pyramid scheme.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: I don't like it.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't, I think that's very disingenuous.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: And uh they're not certified.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: So again, their coaches are are more of like the here's an accountability buddy, um, which we do like, but there's a negative, slimy thing behind it, right?
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Which we don't love.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: Um, their habit building and their community love those aspects.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Like, listen, we have a community as part of our team.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: We focus on healthy habit building.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: I'm never gonna knock anything that promotes good habit creation and community because those aspects are super, super important.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: So that is probably the only positive I have to say from Optavia.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: Um, if you see me looking at my phone, it's because I kept my notes on my phone this time.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: So I didn't have to like scroll around on my computer.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: So this is essentially what Optavia is.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: Um I did an Instagram post on this probably back into my God, 2021, end of 2021, early 2022.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: So it's been a while, and I had like this fad diets exposed thing on Team BDN.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Um, so you can scroll back and see some of these, but Octavia was one of them, and it's still so popular, and I don't understand it because nobody that I've talked to keeps the results.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: In fact, we had a close family friend um who did the diet, lost 35 pounds, he stopped the diet and gained the weight back plus some.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: And this is just a personal anecdotal experience from someone that I actually know in real life who is a man, so not even a woman, not even a client who we work with.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: That is what happened.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: So obviously, he didn't learn much in that scenario and was just full of like, I can't even imagine how men survive on five and one.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: If a woman has to eat a thousand calories, how do men do it?
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: Do they get like a 10 in one plan?
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Because like men usually eat more than women.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: So again, not healthy.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Instead, I'd rather you guys focus on eating full whole meals, focusing on whole foods, strength train, getting in walks.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: If we can't even have the energy to go for a walk around the block, what's the point?
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Like, aren't we trying to lose weight and feel better so we have energy for the day, keeping up with our kids, um, being able to do functional training so that when you like bend over to pick something up, it's easier carrying water, you know, pack of water bottles from the car to the house without needing like someone else's help because you want to feel strong and be able to do that, you know, one trip grocery stores.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: If you don't even have the energy to do this, I don't think that this is the right plan for anyone, for anyone.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna sit here and argue that forever.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Like I know with some of these, I've sat here and said on my semaglatide podcast that there is a population where semaglatide and nozempic are appropriate and where these should be used.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: I don't see a population where Octavia is beneficial to anyone.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: I think it's just a business marketing scheme.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: And, you know, as always, I know I'm shutting it down really hard, but if you have had a positive experience on Octavia and you've been able to shift out of it and you've been able to like move into a healthier lifestyle, I would actually love to talk to you, slide up in my DMs if we can have a civil conversation.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Like if you can like not attack me for my opinions, and I won't attack you for your opinions, right?
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Like, let's have an adult conversation back and forth and have a discussion.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: Because I am truly interested in how you did that and what the side effects were.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: If you gained weight back, how the transition was, because all of the ones I've seen have not been positive.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: I also want to note that when we drop calories so low like that, and when we cannot exercise because the calories are so low, yes, you are going to lose a lot of weight in that time period, but some of that weight is going to be muscle mass because we're not probably eating adequate protein.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: We're not continuing to exercise to keep that lean protein going and that lean muscle mass built.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: So you are losing muscle mass and you don't want to lose muscle mass.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: You want to lose fat mass.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: You want to keep the hard muscle that you have.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: So, again, it's not a good plan.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: It's not a good plan at all.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: We want to lose fat.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: We don't want to lose muscle because then our metabolism is just going to take a nose dive if we're losing muscle as well.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Because muscle helps us burn more calories over time at rest and helps us stay healthier and helps actually ward off cardiovascular disease, diabetes.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Muscle is so important.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: And I think I've mentioned this on another podcast that, you know, the epidemic isn't only becoming like an epidemic of obesity for risk factors for disease.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: It's not just about having too much body fat, it's being under-muscled.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: So even if you do have significantly more body fat, but you have a lot of muscle mass too, you will have better markers and outcomes than someone with less muscle with the same body fat percentage.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: So I think that's pretty neat.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: So why would you want to lose your muscle mass?
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: You don't.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: And I know some of you are sitting on here thinking, well, I'll just try it for three months and I'll lose the weight.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: And then, and then that's where we end the conversation.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And then, because and then what?
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: You're gonna go back to the way you were eating?
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: No.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: You're gonna go into the four and two and one plan or the three and three plan and still rely on these products and still waste your like hard-earned money, still not learning anything because you're relying on a product.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: And maybe you can start exercising at this point, but eventually you're gonna get to a point where you're like, I haven't learned how to have fun on the weekends while staying within my goals.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: I haven't learned how to have a significant sweet treat or a holiday or a vacation without bringing a bunch of fuelings with me.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: So you're going to boomerang back.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: You are going to regress and fall off track.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: And it just makes logical sense that that would happen.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Because again, let's say you're going out of the country for 10 to 12 days.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: You have an amazing European vacation.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: How many boxes of those damn fuelings are you going to take?
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And you know you're going to get to Italy and you're going to have all the pasta, and you know you're going to get to all these other places and enjoy their amazing food.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: And then you're like, yeah, but that's vacation weight.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I'll lose it when I get back when I jump on the plan.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: What if we didn't have to have vacation weight?
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: What if we just learned how to pick and choose food and enjoy our favorites and sustain what we've done and what we've built over vacation.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: So when we come back, we don't have to be really depressed and annoyed and feeling like absolute dog shit because the scale went up six pounds and now we're feeling terrible and we starve ourselves and we do this whole repetitive compensatory behavior cycle.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: What if we didn't have to do that, guys?
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying here.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: That is what we're trying to get away from is compensatory behaviors, starting over, just literally living every day the same because you've learned behavior changes and habit changes to make these things possible.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: What a fucking wild concept.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Woo! I'm getting fired up now talking about this.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: I don't know how long we've been recording.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: I wanted to keep these short and sweet, and I think this is short and sweet.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: So, bottom line on Octavia, please don't do it.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: I've said this on Instagram before.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: Like, what you can do as a better use of your money than buy Octavia is literally set it on fire because not only will it be more enjoyable to do and more fun to do, it will be pretty to look at as the$400 goes up in flames.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: That is a better use of your money than torturing yourself for a month on Octavia eating their shitty ass food.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: So, with that said, if you are looking for a sustainable diet approach and ways to actually know what to eat and how to eat and to hit your goals and something you only want to do for a short time, like six months, and then go off on your own.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Learn how to track your intake, guys.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Learn macros.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: It will be the best teacher.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: Even if you only want to do it for six months, you will learn so much more than you will learn on six months of Octavia.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: And it'll likely be cheaper, depending on who you work with and what coach you have.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: In fact, how about free?
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: Because I'm hosting a webinar next Wednesday, April 12th at 7 p.m.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: EST.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: It will be recorded for those who cannot make it live.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: I'm hosting a free masterclass called Mastering Macros.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: I will teach you all things macros.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: I will show you how to track.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: We're going to dive into macros because I know it's like a foreign concept for most people.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: When I ask, like, oh, is anyone familiar with macros?
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: They're like, uh, is that that thing where you just worry about how much protein you eat?
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: I'm like, kinda, kinda, you're almost there.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: So we'll get into it.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: We'll show you what you need.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: We'll show you how to do it, and you'll leave the workshop knowing how to calculate your own macros and how to start tracking on your own, even if you don't want to hire a coach.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to put the sign up link in the show notes so you guys can join me.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: It is absolutely free.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: And the link to re-watch it will only be valid for a week after the masterclass.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: So make sure you watch it.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: Otherwise, it's going to be a paid for video to watch after that.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: So thank you guys for joining me this week.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Next week, we'll probably get into another fad diet.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Haven't chosen yet.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: We'll get fired up about something.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: So I hope you guys have an amazing Easter weekend.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: It's Easter this weekend if you celebrate.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: Passover, I believe, is today and heading in.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: So happy holidays to everyone.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: And I'll see you next week.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Ciao.
