- 0:07SPEAKER_00: If you are great at what you do, your reputation is solid, and your network is full of impressive names, but none of it is helping you get closer to your business goals or professional aspirations, you are in the right place.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Social Capital Method.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Sabine Gideon.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: This is the show for the high-performing professional, founder-led business owner, or consultant ready for the referrals, revenue, and recognition your work deserves.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: Tune in each week for a breakdown of the strategies, systems, and identity level shifts behind sustainable relationship-driven growth.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Let's get into it.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: And so a couple of things that I just want you to take away from this is to treat your featured section as your highlight reel.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: So that means creating about two to three assets or featuring two to three assets that build trust fast.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: So that could be a clip of you speaking if you're a speaker, a client testimonial, if you're a consultant, coach, whatever, or maybe a thought leadership article, especially if you have newsletters, maybe your highest performing newsletter, or if you were featured in something, that would be a great place to put it in your featured section.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: And then the next step to that is making sure that you can arrange them in order of relevance.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: So you have the option on LinkedIn on your profile to actually reorder all of the pieces that you feature.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: So think about reordering them in terms of what is it that you want people to see first when they land on your profile that encourages them to continue to scroll along.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And then the other thing that I would say is within your featured section, you get to create a name, a title, and a description for it.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Just think about what is the what is it that you want to leave with your audience.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: So instead of just naming it um testimonial, maybe go into a little bit more detail that allows the individual to have some context around what that is.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: And so the goal of all of this is to ensure that when someone comes on your page or they visit your profile, they, you know, can answer the questions for themselves.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Can you do what it is that you claim to do?
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: So whatever it was in your headline or whatever it was that led them to your profile, do you have social proof that you actually do this thing?
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Thank you for tuning in to this week's episode.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Before you go, I want to put something in your hands that will help you actually apply this work.
