Transcript
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome back to another episode with your hosts Lisa and Desi.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: We are going to be diving into an episode that will be an interesting one.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, where you are bringing our opinions to our podcast and our experiences.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: And there's something really big that's happening in the coaching world right now.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: And maybe you're thinking, well, I'm not in the coaching world.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Why does that matter?
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Don't worry, we're gonna be talking about intuition, discernment, how to really make decisions for yourself that feel good, and not with that FOMO, right?
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Like we can do so often.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: So here's a little bit of the backstory.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: And of course, we're not here to shame anybody or to put anybody on the hot spot.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Like we're all human, we all make mistakes, we all think that we may be right in a moment that we are wrong.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: And so we are a human, having a human experience, learning how to navigate this human life.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: And there's lots of trials and errors, and there's a lot of great things that happen too.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: And so there is a coach that put on a live event where other coaches within the industry paid$25,000 to speak on that stage.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: With that, there has been some allegations after this event took place that the deliverables were not satisfied.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: And so some speakers felt like their um their bios were changed and they weren't able to speak to exactly what they wanted to speak to.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: The projectors for their slideshows weren't working, a lot of the material and their booths weren't set up like they were supposed to, and there was just a lot of promises made of attendance and people being there that were not actually true in their experience.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: And so we are going to be talking a little bit about that because it is bringing up a lot of shadows in the coaching industry of you know, a lot of these coaches making lots of lots of money, and sometimes people are not satisfied, right?
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: And so it's so important that we use our own intuition and our own discernment when we are making these decisions.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: And there are multiple sides and perspectives, perspectives of every situation, and so we want to preference that.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: So we're not just presenting, you know, one side, we're not saying anybody's right or wrong, but we're just bringing to light some of the shadows that are coming out right now.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: So, you know, we're not here to, like I said, judge anybody or cast any kind of um shadows on anybody, but what really caught our attention isn't the drama, it's what's actually bringing out about the coaching industry and just about so many things that are coming to light.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: And I we are in the age of Aquarius, is that right?
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Um, Lisa, which maybe you can even talk a little bit about that.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Because I think that this actually has something to do with all the things that are not going to come with us to New Earth or coming to the forefront for us to heal as a society, heal as uh humans here and a community and really bringing all that forward.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Yes, so true.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: And that's what uh my mentor actually talks about too.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And this is Aquarius are known for progressive thinking, they're known for inventions and ideas and really helping the community as a whole.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: So, of course, right now, we are being shown the shadow side in order to heal it.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: And that's what we talk about all the time in our podcast and why we bring this podcast to real raw truth and our own stories and other people's stories now.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Because again, we don't realize when we're in it how it's affecting us.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: And I believe that when we are able to pause to have this discernment, to listen to our intuition, to really listen to our own power without all the noise, you start to really get clear on what actually matters, what do you actually value?
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: And also you're able to read the energy a little better.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: And something that I listened to recently was like you as women, especially, and of course, there's definitely men out there that are very intuitive as well, but as women, we are very intuitive.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: And I listened to a psychic on this take for what this situation has been happening, and she's basically like all of us women need to come back to our intuition, and all of us are really good at reading energy, but it's like we just need to come back to that because again, all of us have shadows that come through at certain moments, and we need to listen to what's actually being asked of us, or we need to listen and discern what is staying in our power, what does that actually mean, and how we can move forward.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So, for this situation, of course, you know, with this coach, you know, people are sharing their real stories.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And I love the fact I do like me and Desi have been talking about this because obviously we're both seeing these things happen and we're just sharing with each other what we're actually taking away from it.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: And why this is really important for us to talk about is again not because of the drama, it's because of what's actually happening and what we're also learning from this, because we are coaches in this industry.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: So we are also listening to our intuition, we are also listening to discernment and are staying in our power, and we're also like understanding real lessons right now.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: So for us, uh listening to our intuition has been such a big piece about our healing journey, and it's such a big piece about this podcast because again, you might listen to an episode and absolutely love it, you might listen to the next one and absolutely hate it, and that's okay because that's also your own energy, your discernment, you're staying in your own power and listening to your intuition.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: You're gonna pick things up and you're gonna put things down from what we share or guests share or whatever, but it's just another perspective for us, and it's an just another part of healing is not linear, we all experience this life in a different way.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: And what I can tell you is that for me and for Desi as well is we've we've been asking for our coaching businesses to get bigger and to really evolve in certain ways.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: And guess what?
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: That does not mean we get to hide from the shadows, that means we actually get to step up to the shadows, we get to heal through them and we get to understand them.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: And that's what listening to your intuition and listening to this discernment is really all about because we are we did the same thing, and I mentioned it to Desi.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: It was like, remember when in the beginning of the year, when I was going through the things and I was like, I'm ready, I'm ready to be a coach again, I'm ready to go all in, and like literally life happened.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Oh, okay, just kidding.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Like, but I was also like, you know what?
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Well, that's when we were literally birthing our podcast, and I was like, I went through a very big uh grief phase in my life because we lost someone close to us, and I was like, Well, it would make sense for me to actually show up and share my actual healing during this time.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: And Desi held me in that space because I was being asked, here, you want to be a coach?
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Well, guess what?
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: You get to go deeper into your own coaching and practices.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: So it makes sense because now I am more embodied in that way, and so does Desi.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Desi has been experiencing some things too and and going through it, like we're not apt from it just because we're coaches or like because we're healers or anything like that.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: But back to the intuition.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: Intuition is so important because we are that's our natural ability.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Our natural ability is listening to our own intuition, but because of the universe and because of our world now, we are distracted all of the time.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: There's noise every single place we look.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: And it's our turn and our our choice to not focus on it.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: So what you focus on expands.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: So whether you're focusing on that you have no money, that you hate your job, that the world sucks, you know, all these things, like clearly you're gonna have a reality that portrays that back to you.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: Or you have that choice of like, well, today's a great day and I get to make money in this way, and I know this is only temporary, so let's focus on the things that are going to expand or focus on the people around you, you know, listening to podcasts that lift you up, hopefully, like this, you know.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: So there's different things that are going to either expand you or contract you.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: So listening to your intuition to what is your yes and what is your no.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: And, you know, if you are curious about this and you're not sure what your body is telling you, whether it's a yes or no, please reach out.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: We have I have a practice that will help you be intuitive and listening to your yes and no.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: And I also have a challenge coming up as well that what we'll be sharing about about the intuition, because I am all about the intuition and mine is so clear right now because of all the things that I've been doing.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I don't ever want to go back.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: I need to keep listening to it because when you listen to it, you're able to access your heart space, you're able to access your higher power, God, source, spirit, universe, whatever you want to call it.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: That is what's the most important because unconditional love.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: And we literally choose to suffer a lot of times in this life, and it's not fun.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: And of course, again, you're human and it happens.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: So is allowing yourself to pull yourself out of it and listening to your intuition of what can I do next to allow myself a different outlook, allow myself a different perspective.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: So really, I can keep going on, right?
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: You know, to bring it back to this thing that is happening in you know the coaching industry, right?
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: Which is shining a light on the shadow.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: And our intuition gets blocked by so many things.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: It gets blocked by thinking we're making the right decision and we to quote unquote make the wrong decision, right?
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: It gets blocked by you know arguments with our partner, it gets blocked with us scrolling too much on our Instagrams, on our feeds, right?
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: It gets blocked when we aren't eating right, when we're not getting enough exercise, when you know, there's a lot of things that can block our intuition, right?
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: So we could be thinking that we're making the like proper decision, but like if we're not fully tapped in, and I think that's why your intuition is coming through so clear, Lisa, is because you are so tapped in, right?
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: And so sometimes it can feel like we are making like the right decision with our intuition, but if we're not so careful and like tapped in, tuned in, then um sometimes we can think that we're listening to the intuition, but we're actually listening to more of the noise, and that's why it's so important to know like what does my intuition feel like in my body?
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: And you know, there's when we do pick the quote unquote wrong thing with our intuition, it was actually a lesson that we needed to learn anyways and something that we needed to face.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: So there's really no wrong answers, right?
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: When we are doing our best to like tune into ourselves and who we are, and I think with with this whole whole situation, right?
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: Like when I heard$25,000, I almost fatteled fell out of my seat.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Oh,$25,000 to pay.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: And like the conversation we're having, I'm like, is it normal to pay that much money?
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, we're little baby coaches over here, right?
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: And so, like, I know both of us aspire to be big coaches that make lots of money that touch thousands of lives and hearts and souls and stuff.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: And so it's like this conversation is like, does it as you get bigger, is it do you get more attacked because you're making more money, right?
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: But obviously you're having more people come into your world.
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: So there's bound to be people that are unhappy.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: And that's just the numbers game, right?
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: At the end of the day, it's like a numbers game, right?
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: And then so there's just like there's just more to it, right?
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: And there's like more light that is gonna come or more shadows that are gonna come to the surface.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: And so I know that I want to make a lot of money, but I think there's this part of me that is like really scared to make a lot of quote unquote money because well, what if people are gonna attack you online?
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: What if people aren't gonna be happy, right?
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and those are the things that you have to be brave enough, right?
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: So this uh, you know, be brave enough to like to do to do the thing and then to be that person that can take radical ownership for the thing that is happening.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: And I think that's where there's been some like misconception here is that uh the people that are speaking out that after they had the conversations um felt that they had to speak out more because they their concerns and their what their uh experiences were not fully being heard, right?
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: So that's why I believe it came, you know, to like this online space where people are talking out about it.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: And I know for me, like when you learn what you when you see what you don't like, you get really clear on what like when wait, how is this saying?
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: When you know what you don't want, you get really clear on what you do want, right?
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: And so it's like I know I want to be a type of coach that like is very invested in her in their clients, like we were talking about earlier.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: You know, like we want to know our clients, we want to like almost be friends with our clients, like be in their lives and remember who they are and and not not just be another number, right?
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, having this discernment on what you're spending your time with, what you're spending your money on is so, so important because it can get again, that noise can get really loud, and then it's hard to know what is actually truth to us.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: So when I looked up this um definition of discernment, because I was like, what does that actually mean?
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: And I really liked what it came back with.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: And it says, discernment is the ability to judge something clearly and thoughtfully, especially when the answer isn't obvious.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: And I think that is a part that miss that we miss sometimes is that we actually don't take the time to sit with ourselves and ask ourselves, is this actually true for me?
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: Is this actually something I want to do?
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: Or is it FOMO?
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: Am I like feeling like if I don't do that, I'm gonna miss out?
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: Like we have to like really feel into that discernment.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: And it is that ability to be able to pause, listen to yourself, look at the information in front of you, and decide what feels true and right for you.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: And so when we're using our discernment and we're not just like going, going, going with life, or we're just making decisions because this person did that, right?
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: It's like, oh, I'm actually asking myself what is true.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: And I believe if you sit there and discernment, ask, you know, what is true, and then you still decide to make the decision, and then maybe it's something that didn't go your way, right?
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: And you're like, oh, I spent that money and I didn't get the return on my investment.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: And then it's like, well, I sat with it and I, you know, sat with my discernment and my intuition, and this is the decision that I made.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: So what are the actual lessons here for me?
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Like, what am what am I actually supposed to learn?
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Because maybe it's something way bigger about the money that I spent and more, maybe it's more about like a community that I'm trying to build, or maybe it's about a shadow that I didn't know was there that was highlighted to me.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: And so it's like, okay, then we get to fall back on those things because we actually took the time to make a decision from an empowered place rather than just hurry up and do the next thing, right?
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: And I think we can get really caught up on that as well as like when we're always in the go, go, go, go, go, which is like we're all guilty of it, right?
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: We're not we're not actually like sitting with ourselves, making decisions from our heart space, making decisions from our grounded root itself.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: We're making our decisions from the hustle and bustle of life.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: And so really asking yourself in these situations where you are making an investment.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: And I know that, you know, people are investing in us, which is really scary because like we had what two episodes, I think it was ago, we talked about investments.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: And, you know, the all of the fear comes out like, am I gonna get my uh return on my investment, right?
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: Am I gonna get out what they say they are?
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Like, am I gonna be able to show up?
- 14:51SPEAKER_01: Am I gonna have enough time, right?
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: All this stuff comes to play, and you know, investing in ourselves can feel really scary.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: But if you show up a hundred percent of the time, it there's always something to get out of it.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: And I think sometimes we I I personally had, I was thinking about have I ever invested in something that I wasn't happy with, and I I think it's happened probably more than I can remember right now, but I particularly remember I had just co uh graduated my coaching certification and I hired like a business mentor, and I had found her on like Facebook, and she was doing these lives on her Facebook, and I liked it, liked her, and I invested in this program.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: I think only like three people ended up showing up, and it was supposed to be like business focused on a certain area of of the business.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: I can't remember what it was, but then she was feeling like the people that enrolled didn't actually have like the basics of business.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: So instead of actually getting the program that I paid for, I was actually like downgraded to her, yeah, to her like like uh very foundational stuff that we had already did in our coaching certification.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: So I was like, I didn't actually feel like I mean it was helpful, don't get me wrong, but like I didn't actually feel like I got what I paid for.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: And I remember being really disappointed in that because I think it was like a three grand investment, which was a lot of money at the time, you know?
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and so I don't feel like I was a hundred percent in my discernment.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: It was 2020, COVID was happening, there was a lot of stuff going on, right?
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: And so I know that I I do remember having the conversation with Jason about it.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: Um, and he's so supportive.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: So of course he's gonna like support me, but I remember looking back thinking, like, I don't think I made that from an empowered place.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: I don't think I really sat with myself.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: I think I made it in like, oh my god, I need to make money, I need to get my business going.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: So let me just encode like let me just invest in this person, right?
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: And so discernment is learning to trust yourself without blinding trusting, or I'm sorry, discernment is learning to trust yourself without blindly trusting every thought, feeling, or person in front of you.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: So it's really getting to know yourself too.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: I think that's another big one as well.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: Like if you don't know yourself, you don't know what you stand for, if you don't know your values, if you don't know what you're okay with, then it's gonna be really hard to make a decision out of your intuition and your discernment if you don't actually know who you are.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: So that's really, really important.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And I think again, it does all come down to what do you value and what is the trust that you build with yourself.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Because all of it is, you know, your discernment, your intuition, it it comes from what you value, you know, like like again, like our conversation with investments, whatever you are spending your money on is what you value, no matter whether it's your bills and you don't want to pay them, or whether it's, you know, the actual clothes that you want or something else.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, like us, our value is is personal growth for us because we love to help ourselves heal.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, we want to also do this because we have clients that we also want to share experiences with, so it's a bigger learning and it's what we value.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: So this conversation does come back to that because it is about values.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: And the reason why we really we've been talking about this and why we br are bringing this as well is because this is reminding us as a lesson for from a another coach as well, and being in you know, more of a spotlight than us right now, but it's integrity.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: It is what is what do you stand for?
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: What are your values?
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: What are your morals?
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And of course, we both have the same, a couple of the same mentors, and we love them because of their values.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: Because they have driven our beginning coach um from our coaching certification, like she told us our her values from the very beginning, and she pretty much ingrained them the whole entire time.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: Like, this is what I'm about.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Like, she is a whole like you know, thing that she talks about and and she just tells us over and over again, like, I value fun, I value my energy, that's what it matters.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Like, so we felt that from her.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: That's why we liked her energy, that's why we invested in this.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: And of course, you know, like you were saying about like the whole investment piece and like, you know, not loving what you spent your money on or not getting what you think.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: And like, I love our coaching certification, but of course, it it is definitely a higher, higher amount, and you know, and of course, I didn't follow through to, you know, my my own self-trust and my things.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: So maybe I didn't necessarily get my technical like ROI and the amount of money, you know, from that, but I've learned so much.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: So it wasn't money necessarily that I got from it, it was something else, you know, and so sometimes we have to realize that we invest in something, whether it's money, whether it's time, whether it's you know, relationships, whatever it is, we invest uh our own time and and money, because those are what we mostly value into something.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: And if we don't understand the actual expectation or we don't understand the the standards that it's in, then we can easily be disappointed because we're not we're not in an empowered state when we are making that decision because we're putting a high expectation on it.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: And if that wasn't actually, you know, a verbally said or whatever, contracted, whatever it is, then we can easily be like blaming or like being like this, you know, not taking ownership and not taking responsibility of our own actions to like actually make it work.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: So for me, I know having a mentor and coach, I've had so many, I've invested in a lot of courses.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Again, that's one of my big values.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: I love learning because again, I want to help other people.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: So it's just been always a value for me.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: I want to, I want to help myself and and have good energy.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: So, of course, and eventually I will help it with my clients.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: So I've done so many courses, and a lot of it too is because I wasn't empowered.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: I wasn't in an empowered state because I wasn't trusting myself.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, I need to go to the next course because this is gonna be the one that helps me and like will really help me feel so confident in helping my clients.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: And you know how many times I've said that?
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: So many times, I'd rather not admit it.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: You know, and now I'm finally realizing and understanding how what it means to stay in my own power, what it means to actually trust myself, my intuition.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: And you know, kundalini has literally done that for me.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: And I've realized that my coach has been saying, like, kundalini is an activation.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: I've been doing all the manifesting things for years now, like the journaling, the meditations, the you know, the picture boards, everything.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: But what I didn't realize is I wasn't accessing my own power, I wasn't accessing that activation within me to be like so solid in my own self and really using my own intuition, my own discernment of like here, I my my mentor says, I know and I go.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: I have not had that.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: And today I had a realization I have never been like two feet in.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: I've always been one foot in, one foot out.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: And I think that's the integrity piece right now.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: It's coming through as like we see this coaches because I didn't trust myself to to guide people.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: I didn't trust myself to really hold a safe space for people.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: Could I do it?
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: I just it wasn't there yet.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: And that's okay too.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: So certain things, certain courses I've been in, and yes, maybe I haven't seen the ROI in the time that I wanted.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: It to be right, like we we haven't been there yet, or like we want it to happen faster.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: But sometimes we don't realize until hindsight, too, of like you're getting exactly what you need from this, whether you spent a dollar for it, nothing, or like a hundred thousand dollars for it, right?
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Like there's always something you're gonna be getting for from it.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: So this integrity piece of now I'm feeling so much more embodied.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: I'm so I'm feeling so much more in my own power, and I'm like, I need to help you with it now because I'm like, this is what feels so good.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, you can also feel this.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: So if you are in an empowering state, if you are embodied with your own energy and you are solid, you can make a choice instantly.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: You know what your yes and no's mean in your body.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Nothing that happens for you is not like it's it's for you.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: It's for you can't choose wrong necessarily, right?
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Doesn't mean that it's not hard or it could be a mistake, or you could be learning another hard lesson.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely not.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: That could totally happen.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: Because again, everything we do is a risk.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: And Desi reminded me of this uh to talk about because it's so true, you know.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: We can again invest in a coach, invest in a program, we can invest in a car.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: I can speak about this with my my boyfriend getting a car, and guess what happened?
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: It literally went into the shop and hasn't didn't come out of the shop for like over a month.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: And he's like, Is this a lemon?
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Because at this point, like, what the hell?
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: And they couldn't figure it out.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: You never know what's gonna happen, you know, with something like that, whether it's a car, whether it's a course, whether it's eating kit chicken right now or any food that they're telling you on this the TV and the news that like it's something's wrong with it.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like, what are you truly believing?
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: And again, it's it's listening to the energy, your own energy, your own yes and no's.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: And I've been actually listening to my own yes and no's with food lately a lot more because there's we've been cooking a lot, which I like we've been we prepped so well this week.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: I was like, I love not having to pick dinner every night.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: Like this is so good.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: And there's definitely been a couple of things, of course, you know, since we've we cooked it a couple of days ago, it's like I need to smell it and make sure.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: And if it's like I can instantly know if this is a yes or no, my body, and I'm like, okay, I'm like, nope, nope, not eating this tonight, or like whatever.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: And it's it's so funny, like it's so silly, but it's but it's so funny when like I I've been doing something and I do the other thing or I do the opposite when I know it's a yes and I do the no or whatever, you know, vice versa.
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh, I should have listened to my intuition.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: My intuition intuition was totally right, like and I totally ignored it.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so funny.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, all my my rule of thumb, if it's if it's been in there for less than seven days, then I can eat it.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: And usually it's pretty good.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: But sometimes I'm like, shit, what day did I cook this?
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: Like, dang it, I should have put freaking, I should have put a date on this.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, babe, when did we make this?
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: Oh no, maybe I don't risk it.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: At that point, I don't risk it.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: I've done it before.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: She's like, throw it away.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, throw it away.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: Like throw it away.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: I know I just don't like throwing away food that is like you know, that we didn't eat.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: Um then I'm like, Jason, you need to do a better job eating the food.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: No, we both do.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: Um, but you got like multiple boys at your house, so I would assume you guys eat most of the food.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, except for like it's so funny because Mason, like earlier today, I like I would we were telling them we're like, we cooked so much uh protein and so much food that like the fridge is stocked with cooked food.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Like there were so many options because Mason got so mad at us that we weren't cooking good food and he was sick, and then we ate the good food.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: So then he was upset with us because he's like, You guys ate the good food, and he was just having a weep.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: But we're just like, okay, and then we're we cook all this food this week.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: We're like, there's ground turk, ground turkey, ground beef, you know, there's all these things, and he's just picky, you know, sometimes.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: And then he's like, he drinks a smoothie, and we're like, and then last night after after football, he goes, Pop takes him to McDonald's.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: Oh we're like, come on, we cooked literally, so you didn't have to because Pop is one that complains about money, and we're like, we literally cooked so much food.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: We see the food in there.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: Why are you spending money on junk that's not this is real chicken, real protein, real food?
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: And then it's like like I'm like, this is exactly why we don't cook certain things anymore for anybody else.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: We're just cooking and prepping things that we need because, like, right, and then do do what you want with it, like add sauce to make it taste better if you need to.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: Like, we're trying to get better.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: It's just so funny.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: Oh man, yeah.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: I just I think the whole whole cooking conundrum of like what's for dinner tonight, like we need to eat for the I'm like, I can't.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: I it's exhausting, and I'm sure it is the listeners that are listening right now can totally uh we need to get a sponsor, like a hungry root sponsor, so it can just send us the meals and we can talk about it and then we'll tell them how easy dinner is, anyways.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: Hi Tajant.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, one of the things too, I I saw I've been observing and I've just been watching and I've been reading the comments, and I've just been, you know, I don't have any attachment, I don't have any feelings towards any of these people.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Like it's very like I'm just observing, we're just seeing what's happening.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: And the thing that was coming through for me was like both sides can be right, both sides could be wrong.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: Like whatever your truth is in whatever situation is not right or wrong, good or bad, negative, positive, right?
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: It's like what we give meaning to the situation, obviously is what we're gonna feel, right?
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: And so, like, we're not in the situation we don't know, right?
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: We don't know the truth because it seems like there's been some dishonesty, like who knows, right?
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: We have no idea, right?
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: We're just getting what people are telling us from the internet.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: And like, as people, we're so easy to like start judging, right?
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: And like putting our own perspectives or thinking about this and and this, that, or the other.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: And I know that there are have been people that have been dissatisfied with you know, coaches and with things that they've invested in.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Um, and then it comes into like, well, did you um show up to the calls?
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: Did you do the work?
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Did you actually take the action, right?
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: Because it's like at that point, like, are we taking that radical responsibility?
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: Did I show up and do the work, right?
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: And sometimes I know I was talking to one of my other girlfriends about this yesterday, and she was talking about how this coach that she, you know, invested in would just come and talk about her own life for like the hour on the call instead of actually like giving any value.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: She's talking about herself the whole time, right?
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: So, like there are things that have happened like that, right?
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: But I would think what's coming to light is like everybody we need to be in integrity, like Lisa was saying.
- 28:27SPEAKER_01: Like, what is an integrity with who I desire to be, what kind of coach we desire to be, right?
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: And so, like, all both sides could be right, both sides are wrong, right?
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: All of our truth is our truth at the end of the day.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: And healing can give us the capacity to hold both truths at the same time.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: And I think that's so cool because it's like, yes, I can be really hurt by you.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: And then also, like, say with me and Lisa, you know, had like a disagreement or we didn't see eye to eye about it.
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: It's like, okay, well, this is how I feel, and this is how you you feel.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: And then it's like we both can be like, okay, well, like you're right, and I see your point.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: And also, this is my experience, right?
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: And so it's like being able to hold the space for all that is happening in the moment is just so important for some something like this, especially, or just like when you're in a conflict with your partner, or like maybe a friend or something, it's like I don't have to sit here and prove my point to be right so that you can tell me that I'm right.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: And I think sometimes we get caught in that.
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: I used to get caught in that.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: Like, actually, I having the conversation last week on last week's uh podcast with Gigi, a lot of the things she was saying were was reminding me about like how much I had to be right, and you know, we're trying to like prove our point and like talking tower blue in the face so like you can understand me, but like what is that actually doing, right?
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: It's a waste of energy, it's hurting you and your the partner, right?
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: It's like okay, but this is how I feel, and I'm expressing to you how I feel, and I also hear what you have to say, right?
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: And sometimes you need to like leave the room or like you know, come back to the conversation, and like you know, just being in integrity is just so important, and I think too, like someone can like hurt you without them being a bad person, right?
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: Like, I I'm I'm there, you know, with that production of an event, there's a lot of moving pieces, there's a lot of different people, there's a lot of moving parts, right?
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: And so I'm sure some of the things unintentionally happened, right?
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: And maybe some things weren't given the attention that they needed.
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: Like, who knows?
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: But at the end of the day, when we're like showing up to invest in ourselves, like Lisa was saying, I really think that um everything we do is at a risk.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: Literally, driving down the street is at a risk.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: We're risking our lives with other drivers out there that are half of them are distracted, right?
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: And so we have to be okay with the the quote unquote bad thing that may happen of us investing in something or like going like quitting a job and starting a new job, and maybe you hate the new job, right?
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: Like everything we do is kind of at a risk.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: And so our capacity to hold what we're doing is so important.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: And this is why me and Lisa are coaches, this is why we do what we do because we know how it is to be on the side where we couldn't have hold the capacity, where I had to be right, where I didn't know how to say sorry.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of pain in that, there's a lot of suffering, and we know what it's like to be on this other side where it's like, okay, I hear you and I understand I hurt your your feelings.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, and also this is how I feel about this situation and not having to take it personal, not having to be right, not having to prove your point.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: And I think that's just so empowering at the end of the day.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: And you know, you can have compassion for someone's wounds without taking accountability for them, right?
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: Like, I know me and Jason have really had to learn this to like listen to each other.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: Like, sometimes it could feel like an attack.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: Like, I really didn't like how you did X, Y, and Z, babe.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: And then it's like we can get defensive and be like, Well, I did that because you said that, and then we were supposed to have dinner over here, and then da-da-da-da.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: And then we're just like automatically getting defensive.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: Not that I know that at all.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: I used to do that so often, right?
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: Because I like didn't know how to just be like, oh, okay, that's his experience.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: And maybe I didn't do anything wrong, but something happened to him in childhood that he's heard about and I triggered that.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: And it's like, oh, I'm not responsible for all of your wounds, I'm not responsible for making you feel comfortable every moment, thank God, because that's a lot of responsibility, right?
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: And so we can hold space for other people's wounds without having to uh make it all about ourselves, right?
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: And so taking responsibility for your part doesn't mean taking blame for the entire situation, it's saying, okay, I can see my part in that.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: And so I think this is all just a really big conversation that we're having, and yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: I think too like going through our certification, it really taught me how to have compassion for other people.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: You know, like I think that's the the biggest thing, and again, that's why we're we have our podcast is because real talk, real healing, like you're not in this human experience alone, number one, we all have our own experiences.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: We will probably trigger you, you know, and we trigger each other, you know, like there's certain things, it doesn't mean that anything is right or wrong, like you've said, or like, you know, it's just it's we're all mirrors for each other because we chose to have a human experience, you know.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: And I fully believe that.
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: I know you fully fully believe that, and most people that are listening are probably fully believe it.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: Like you guys probably resonate, that's why you're here.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: So I think a lot of this is coming back to compassion, coming back to community.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: And I think this is another big lesson for us during during this big coaching thing and you know, drama, what you want to call it, is it's about community.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: It's about what are we building here?
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: You know, we're not building here just to put on a show.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: We're not we're not here to just be like, we're better than you because we're healing and you're not, or like we're further than you, and you know, maybe you're not.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: Like it's not that at all.
- 33:55SPEAKER_00: It is literally because we believe that we have a message to share, we have a story to share, and we think it's gonna help you in some way.
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: And we want to build a community around that because again, you're not alone, neither of us we have each other, you know, and you're part of our group too, as you're listening, because we came back, you know, to support each other, and it's been a game changer for us.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: Like our lives have changed, and we're not even in the same state.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, right, you know, and it's like it is about community now, you know, like how often is everyone just divided?
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: How often does everyone have different opinions?
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: And you said this and you said that, and you agree with that, and it's really not about that anymore.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: Like, it is about coming together because when we come together, that is how we amplify.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: We amplify, we help, we support, we change.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: There is room for everybody, you know, that can be successful.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: There is room for everybody to receive love and to have unconditional love.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: Like, I know something that I've been doing that's like so silly, but so sad that it's like we don't even say hi to each other on the street when we pass each other anymore.
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: It's sad, you know.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: Like, and I've I've gone for a few walks and runs lately, and I'm like, I wanna like I have these people that live next to me that I don't even talk to.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: That is insane to me to like think of like how far have we come off from being humans, you know?
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: So it's really listening to this integrity piece, this intuition and discernment piece of being like, what do I truly value?
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Do I and again, uh coaching and and this stuff and these conversations are about relationships because relationships are literally the biggest point of life.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: You pretty much have to have some kind of relationship with everybody you talk to, with a job, with your partner, with kids, with you know, everybody.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: So how are you?
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: What do you value, you know, with that?
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: Do you value spending time with them?
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: Do you value having compassion?
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: Do you value being right?
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: You know, like sometimes that is okay as well.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: Like, but it's understanding what's underneath it a little bit.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: And then again, you know, if you were going to say you're gonna do something, then do it because that's your integrity.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: And I think that's a big piece with relationships too, that we all do this and we all, you know, get lazy a little bit because we're like comfortable, you know.
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: But it's like you could be holding yourself accountable and being like, I know this is this has been the biggest thing for me.
- 36:30SPEAKER_00: I've been building my own self-trust this this year, and because my word was bold this year, and I'm stepping into that boldness, you know, and again, it everything that's been happening, it's like, okay, here's your next level.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: Like, are you ready to step up?
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: Are you this is what you said, you know, be careful what you wish wish for and what you ask for because it is going to ask you to meet it where it is.
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: We have to raise our frequency in order to get to where we want to go, to get to that desire, to get to that thing.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: And relationships help us, and our own self-trust helps us.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: So listening to your intuition, and and when you have that conviction, your own truth, you're able to make that move quicker and you're able to get out of the fear, get out of the fear so much quicker because you're making the move, you're in movement.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: So, what are you doing now that is in alignment with your intuition and with your discernment and coming from an empowered state?
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: So, my mentor said this recently, and and she said this in another container, and she reminded us of this this week because I brought this up actually this week in our conversation, because I was feeling a little bit of fear come up and a little bit of scarcity around money, actually.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: And she was kind of talking me through it and being like, Well, you know, how do you view money?
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: Do you trust it?
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: You know, like all these things.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: And she said to us afterwards, and and kind of like the overall call was like, about are you staying in your power or not each day?
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: And she's like, get into the practice every night to ask yourself as your head lays on the pillow, was I my power today?
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: You know, and like I think it's a really important conversation that we're having right now about it because if you it's a yes or a no, number one, you know, like it's not like oh, I was kind of and da-da-da.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: It's about coming back to your power, coming back to that truth.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: Every single choice that you have in the day.
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: Like, if you want a healthy life like I am choosing right now, I have to make every choice that aligns with that.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: I have to be aware of what I'm eating.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: I have to be aware of what I'm listening to that's causing me to maybe choose differently because it's going to lead me a different path.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: But if I'm about it and I'm all in, then I have to listen to that.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: I have to listen to my discernment.
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: What is leading me there?
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: What is that choice?
- 38:43SPEAKER_00: And again, if I don't listen to it, I'm gonna not have a consequence per se, maybe, but I'm going to have a different path that happens because every day you get 1% better or you go backwards a little bit, right?
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: So it's allowing yourself, what is what is this intuition, this discernment?
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: And again, you know, there's there's a duality to everything.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: And we're going, we're in Libra season right now.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: So this is a perfect thing because balance, it's about balance.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you can you can absolutely have both.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: You can be spiritual and still want to stick with the rules and like be um be all about like the contract and and be by the book.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: You can trust people and still ask questions, you can admire someone and also still disagree with them, right?
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: You can invest in yourself without outsourcing your power, and that's what we really want to talk about here today, and that's what we want to remind you that you it is not about needing to prove anything, it is not about saying someone's good or bad because of their actions, it's really about well, was this a just decision or a choice in my power that I made?
- 39:50SPEAKER_00: And if it wasn't, okay, how can you choose better next time?
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: It's a lesson normally for this.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: And I would say, you know, uh if you are resonating with this, and if you're like, I need to find my intuition, I need to find my discernment, I don't know what I'm what I value right now, that's okay.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: And I want to remind you if you do decide to look for a coach or are want to work with one of us or someone else or a therapist, you're not really looking for someone that's never made a mistake.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: Who wants someone that's perfect on the outside?
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Nobody.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: Because guess what?
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: They aren't gonna be relate to you, right?
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: So you want someone that you actually resonate with, you actually relate with, but your job actually in that choice when you find somebody that that you actually resonate with and you think can help you and that feels good, not convincing you to do anything.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: I said this to the other day, I was like, I'm not here to convince you, I'm here to remind you of your own power.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: And so your job, if you want to look for a mentor, a coach, a therapist, or somebody that's going to support you and guide you, you need to stop handing those people your authority or your power just because they achieve something that you want, just because there might be a couple steps ahead of you.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: It is about coming back to discernment, your own power, your own understanding, your integrity, your values, and also self-trust.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: So this goal is really never about making a bad investment because guess what?
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: It's gonna happen again.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: You might waste money and you might feel like that was a waste or whatever.
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: It's it's not about that, it's not about being a failure or getting something wrong.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: The goal is to build enough self-trust that when something doesn't feel right, you don't abandon yourself trying to make it right.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: So good.
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I definitely have given my power away to like a mentor or coach before like, is this right?
- 41:39SPEAKER_01: Should I do this?
- 41:40SPEAKER_01: Should I do that?
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: Um, because sometimes it feels like I don't know if I'm making the right decision, right?
- 41:45SPEAKER_01: And like at the end of the day, yes, we want their opinion and you know, we want their feedback and stuff, but like we have to make the decision based on what is right for us, regardless of what the other person is saying, you know?
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: And so I know I've definitely been like guilty of that, and it's like, wait a minute, like this is such a good conversation because that discernment piece, again, is just so important.
- 42:04SPEAKER_01: And so pausing before you're making your decision, sitting with yourself, you know, like, and also too, that something's coming through is like we can ask people around us, like our mom or our sister or a best friend, and like then we're getting their opinion and stuff.
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: Like, again, that's not your discernment, right?
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: And so this is such a great conversation because I I really believe that this is a big a part of like me actually too, mate.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: In my decisions, it's like I can make really quick decisions with my intuition so quick, but like I don't always have to make such quick decisions.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: I can sit with it, I can be in the moment, right?
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: And I think that's um, you know, has happened a little bit of what's like going on in the like coaching industry is like we just make a quick decision because like their marketing sounds good or like they said the right thing, but it's like what is it that you actually feel and like what is it that you actually desire?
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, and and making sure that you're like the people I believe that I've all like I've invested in is like they're showing their truths online, like when they are having a bad day or when they are upset, it's like okay, how is this people working?
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: And are they just throwing the highlight reels, right?
- 43:06SPEAKER_01: Like that's important for me when I pick a mentor and a coach that I know that they are like going through the hard shadows and then they're working through it.
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: Because if they're just like kind of like love and light and spiritual bypassing and positive toxicity, blah blah blah, like that's not somebody I want to get coached by because yeah, I believe in the hard work.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: So yes, I believe in that too, and that's that's what it's all about.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: It's about being real, like and it's about being like, guess what?
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: I've been through it too, and now here's what we've done.
- 43:33SPEAKER_00: Like we've done the practices and we still forget to use them when we're going through it, you know?
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: And it's like it's just reminding yourself that, like, okay, when when we're too in our heads about something, or when we're just like going back and forth and just not being able to decide or being really indecisive about something, that means you're not in your power.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: You're not listening to that intuition, right?
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: You're not listening to that discernment of of energy, you know?
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: And again, it doesn't mean that you have to make the decision right away every single time, but but at the end of the day, we know what the answer is, but we just don't trust it.
- 44:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: Well, it's funny because I just said I just said, um, I believe in working hard, which is actually a belief that I'm trying to get away from because I kind of need to work harder than I need to work, but there is truth in repetit repetition and doing the hard thing and looking at the hard shadows and all that kind of stuff, right?
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: And so uh I just think this conversation has been really good.
