Continuation of the Holy gospel according to Saint Matthew at
• 0:06
that time Jesus spoke to his disciples this parable the
• 0:11
Kingdom of heaven shall be like to. 10 virgins who taking their
• 0:15
lamps, went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride, and
• 0:19
five of them were foolish and five wives.
• 0:23
But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take
• 0:26
oil with them, but the wise took oil in the vessels with their
• 0:31
  lamps. And the bridegroom tarrying,
• 0:34
they slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry
• 0:38
  made. Behold, the bridegroom cometh,
• 0:41
Go ye forth to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and
• 0:46
trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the
• 0:49
wise, Give us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out.
• 0:55
The wise answered, saying, Lest perhaps there be not enough for
• 0:59
us and for you, go eat rather to them that sell, and buy for
• 1:04
yourselves. Now whilst they went to buy, the
• 1:08
bridegroom came, and they that were ready went in with him to
• 1:11
the marriage, and the door was shut.
• 1:15
But at last came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord,
• 1:19
open to us. But he answering said, Amen.
• 1:24
I say to you, I know you not. Watch ye therefore, because you
• 1:30
know not the day nor the hour.
