- 0:00SPEAKER_01: This week we're talking to a real estate agent who's had one of the biggest improvements, one of the fastest improvements that I've seen.

- 0:14SPEAKER_01: And you're gonna hear the story of how in just one day recently she made more than she did the entire year last year, and how it's changing her life and her family's life.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: We're talking with Paige Corbett from Indianapolis, Indiana today.
- 0:35SPEAKER_04: I like to buy houses, I like to sell houses, it's great.

- 1:13SPEAKER_01: God knows we all need a little additional gratitude this year, this crazy year.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Um, and I don't necessarily mean that like negatively, like there's a lot to be thankful for this year.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: And I think we recognize it this year than most.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: So hopefully you've had a chance to do that.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: If you haven't really, if you've just, if you're still just going too fast, if you're still just kind of like, you know, this year has really kicked my ass.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: I want you to reflect whenever you're listening to this, to take five minutes today and reflect on the good things that have happened.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's just been a shift in your mindset.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's been a shift in your business.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Maybe you've realized, you know what, that thing that I was doing, that I was spending so much time doing, it just flat out will not work anymore or doesn't make any sense to do anymore, or you you cut a major expense, or you move to a different company, or whatever.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: It and maybe you haven't seen the results that that you've that you hope you'd have by now.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: But but if you've made a positive change, please take a moment and be grateful for that.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: This year, guys, 2020's been crazy.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: It's been crazy.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: And it when we started the year, none of us had any fricking clue that today, Thanksgiving, we would have gone through the insanity and are still going through a lot of insanity.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Uh, we had no idea.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: But there's so many blessings that have come with that.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: So I just want to express my gratitude first of all to you.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: Thank you for listening.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Thank you for your feedback.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Thank you for your support.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: You know, if you're clients or members of uh the Massive Agent Society or users of the Massive Agent Daily, or even if you've shared one of our episodes before or tagged us in a post, thank you.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: It means the world to me that uh that you take a second of your day and do that.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Even that we have your attention enough by we, it's the the royal we, right?
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Even though uh I don't know, because it always sounds weird.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: I'm like I like thank you for listening to me, and I do I don't know, like we just sounds better.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Anyways, um the fact that you're even listening to this is amazing, and that's something that I am extremely grateful for, and I do not take lightly.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: So happy Thanksgiving.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Hope you have a great time with your friends, with your family, your those you're closest with, and uh use this time to prepare mentally for next year because uh next guys, I've never seen more opportunity, not just in our real estate industry, but in business in general.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: I've never seen more opportunities than exist right now.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: And so many of us, and unfortunately, so many of our friends or our family, they just don't see it.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: They're just like, oh my God, I got like, well, crap, I lost my job.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: And you know, what am I gonna do?
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: I need to find another job, and so I'll take half the pay and work twice as much.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: And and like I look, I'm empathetic to that.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: I understand, but they just they don't understand what they don't they don't understand what they don't understand.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: They don't know what they don't know, and they don't see all the opportunities.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Help them, if you can, to see some of those.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Some people, you know, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: But do your part.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: There's so many opportunities.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: If you see them, help others see them.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: If you don't see them, let us help you open your goddamn eyes because I've never seen so much opportunity.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, wow.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: So I'm so excited for 2021.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: All right, guys.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: Um, this week, this week's episode is awesome.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, so we're talking with Paige Corbett, a realtor in Indianapolis.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: She is a member of my team, and I've seen more improvement in her than almost any agent that I've worked with over the last few years, and it's happened relatively quickly.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna talk with her today about how she did it.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Like, what are those things?
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Like, what are the tactical action items that she did to turn the tables and to start selling a bunch of homes and having, you know, four, five, six closings in a month where she had three last year, you know, the three in the whole year.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Uh she's made a dramatic change for the better in her business.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: And so she's she's gonna share that today.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Uh, we we tell some stories, so you know, some personal stuff uh that I think a lot of you will be able to relate to.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Um it's it's just it's a great, it's a great conversation with uh one of my favorite people in the industry by far, uh, Paige Corbett, and somebody who should be celebrated, somebody that should be respected, and you know, somebody that you guys can look up to and be like, you know what, you've you're kicking ass right now.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: I can see why.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: Congratulations.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: No, I'm gonna do it too.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: I hope you guys leave this episode with that exact mindset is you know what?
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: You killed it, but you're just like me.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: You've done these few things.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: I need to do those few things.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna kill it too.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Like, good for you.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Now it's now it's good for me.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Like, let's go.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: I hope you walk away with that.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: Holy shit, I'm like, what, eight or nine minutes in?
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: And if you're new to the show, you don't know how you don't even have a clue who I am.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's a good thing.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Maybe that I'm actually serving you by not introducing myself, but I'm gonna go ahead and do it because I probably should.

- 8:04SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: Paige Corbett is uh easily one of the fastest growing, fast, fastest improving agents inside my whole team, inside my organization.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: She's on social media at uh Page Sells Indie, and um I think you guys are really gonna resonate with her story.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: She's an amazing person, uh, amazing mom, amazing wife, and amazing real estate agent that's really found her stride over the last six, seven, eight months.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: I think you guys are gonna really like her story and have some things to learn from it.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: So let's jump into it with Paige Corbett.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: All right, I'm here with Paige Corbett, a rock star realtor in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Paige, welcome to the Massive Agent Podcast.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: How's it going?
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: Good.
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: Thanks so much for having me.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: I'm so excited.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: Well, you've been doing some big stuff over the you know what, the summer.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, you're you're on track to be, you know, well, you already are a top producer, and you're on track to potentially hit um icon status at our company, and you know, you're doing some cool stuff.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: So making a change and like really getting uh getting your career jump started is the hardest part.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: Like you've got to do certain things to really like you know, light it on fire.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: And so that's what I want to focus on.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: You've done that, and I'm seeing you do it, and it's really fun to watch.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, I wanted to celebrate you a little bit, but also let you tell your story of you know how you've done what you've done over the last half a year or so.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: Um, but first, who you know, give people you know, 45 seconds or so, you know, before real estate, what were you doing?
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: And then how long have you how long have you been an agent?
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 9:42SPEAKER_03: Well, um grew up my whole life here in Indy, um, been married for nine and a half years, and um, we have three kids.
- 9:51SPEAKER_03: So um two big kids, they're eight and seven, and then my little one is two.
- 9:56SPEAKER_03: So when I was pregnant with Cooper, the youngest, um, my husband was gone doing a lot of military training, and I was still in the dental field, so that's where all of my schooling and everything was, you know, science and math.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: And um, but I needed a change because with my husband being gone so much, and then that third kid not being in school or anything, I was, you know, the dental field was really demanding, so I had to have a little bit of a change.
- 10:25SPEAKER_03: And so my mother-in-law is a realtor, and she was like, Listen, this would be really great for you, especially with baby being young, so you can get started.
- 10:33SPEAKER_03: And so I left the dental field while I was pregnant with him.
- 10:36SPEAKER_03: I took my real estate exam, and now I got my um in April, it'll be two years that I've been an agent.
- 10:46SPEAKER_03: So how I rolled into it.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: So you didn't exactly like grow up going through school telling your teachers that you're gonna be a realtor when you grow up.
- 10:55SPEAKER_03: No, no.
- 10:56SPEAKER_03: I uh it was always that the dream was to be a dentist, but then I realized I didn't want to actually be the dentist, I just wanted to help and do still see yucky teeth.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: And you know, I still have an affinity for that, but now I don't have to do it all day, every day.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: Um, so when you when you jumped into real estate, did you get it right away?
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: Did it click, or you know, what did you struggle?
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: You know, to tell us about you know the the first six months or so or first year of being an agent.
- 11:27SPEAKER_03: Oh man, so so I you know, you I'm I don't know, maybe I was just kinda ridiculous with this, but uh it's one of those things like, oh, it looks easy.
- 11:37SPEAKER_03: And I've heard you say on your podcast, like this can this real estate is easy, you know.
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: Um, but it's what do you say?
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: It's tough or it's uh Clayton Gitz always says real estate's easy.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: Um I don't know what I say.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: I I don't remember what I had to bring.
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: But getting it going, knowing the every day was was I had no idea what I was getting into.
- 12:05SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: So you don't know what you don't know.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: No, yeah.
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: So so figuring out, you know, and getting through the course, that's that's not what you're doing all day long, what they tell you.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: So um I could write You're not dealing with meets and bounds all day, Paige.
- 12:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, especially not out here in Indiana.
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: No way.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: Um that's hilarious.
- 12:26SPEAKER_03: No.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: Um you haven't heard that term since your your exam.
- 12:31SPEAKER_03: Right, exactly.
- 12:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, no, I haven't even had to deal with a survey, so there's that.
- 12:35SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: Um so I was like, okay, everyone's just gonna come flocking to me because everyone wants to buy a house and they know me, so here we go, you know, and then it was like crickets.
- 12:47SPEAKER_03: So um I could write a contract, like it was super easy, you know, like that came naturally, the contract part of it and understanding that.
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: But when it came to everyday stuff to actually get business, forget about it.
- 13:01SPEAKER_03: Like I had no idea.
- 13:03SPEAKER_03: And I, you know, my mother-in-law was my mentor, and she could she's been doing this for a really long time, so she was able to teach me all the background stuff, and I had been watching her anyways, my whole relationship with my husband.
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: So I got the gist of it, but actually getting my own business and then knowing what to do moving forward was like nothing, like I had no idea.
- 13:25SPEAKER_03: So um, I had three closings in my first year.
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: Um, and that was that was like that was pretty tough because I got paid really well in the dental field, and um can you hear him crying?
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Oh go check on him, it's fine.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: No, he's like I I just leave him in there, but I still want to make sure it's not gonna be a big distraction.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Well, why don't you finish your thought and then we'll we'll pause it for a sec.
- 13:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: Um you had you closed three deals your first year.
- 13:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so I closed three deals my first year, and um, it was just uh it was tough trying to get that figured out and paying the bills and just being like, did I make a mistake for my family because we were struggling then?
- 14:13SPEAKER_03: And and then you know that guilt comes in like, oh, I'm still being a mom, but I feel like I I can I need more and it just it wasn't it wasn't going.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: So so you thought you'd be closing more than three deals your first year.
- 14:27SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Like the rest of us, or like, oh, you know, we're gonna get our license, and you know, people are just gonna hire me and you know, yeah, everyone make 250 this year.
- 14:37SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 14:38SPEAKER_03: I was like, my goal is like 20 deals in my first year, right?
- 14:42SPEAKER_03: Whoa, Paige, pump the brakes a little bit because you know, and some people can do that, but I didn't I didn't one have the discipline or two really knew what it take to get the job done.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: So well, you've you've seemed to have figured it out, and you know, it sometimes it's it's one little adjustment, sometimes it's many adjustments, sometimes it's just a mindset shift.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: What was it for you that let's talk about this year?
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: Because you know, over the last half a year or so, you you you're just on fire and you're on a roll and you have momentum, and it's really cool to see.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: So, what what did you do to get there?
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: What did you do to cause that momentum to start happening?
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 15:27SPEAKER_03: So um it was a year ago now in October.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: Um, I love listening to podcasts, and so I just searched like real estate coaching on Apple Podcasts because I I just needed more structure and know what to do.
- 15:41SPEAKER_03: And so then I found um I found Neil Mathweg's podcast, the Agent Rice podcast.
- 15:48SPEAKER_03: And uh Neil, the godfather.
- 15:51SPEAKER_03: Oh, I just love him so much, but um I binge listened to like the entire podcast and I got so much from it.
- 16:00SPEAKER_03: But you know, and he says it a lot in his podcast, like, yeah, you can get all this, but if you want, if you need to know how to implement it, like I can help you do the rest of it and learn how to actually implement these things.
- 16:10SPEAKER_03: So so I took the plunge and um uh again, I wasn't doing too hot financially, so I actually borrowed the money from my mom.
- 16:20SPEAKER_03: I was like, listen, I just need like one month of this, I'll just go in there and steal all this stuff, and then you know, and then I'll have the foundation, which hello, that's not how it works.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: But thinking that thinking that your problem was a lack of information, exactly.
- 16:36SPEAKER_03: Yes, so and you know, as if I didn't get enough information from listening to his whole podcast, you know.
- 16:41SPEAKER_03: So but then I borrowed the money from my mom um for the first month, and um, because she's a saint, and I um instantly my first conversation with him, I knew that like okay, this is way more than just like getting documents and you know, structure, whatever.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: So I um I went with it.
- 17:04SPEAKER_03: I've been with Neil ever since, as you know, but that first month was crazy, like so informational.
- 17:10SPEAKER_03: And I learned a lot about myself and what I needed to do and how I needed to form my business.
- 17:15SPEAKER_03: And one thing I really enjoy doing is social media.
- 17:20SPEAKER_03: So he had just had his summit in Madison, Wisconsin.
- 17:23SPEAKER_03: Um back when we could do in-person meetings.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was one of the last ones I did.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: Shit.
- 17:30SPEAKER_03: Oh, and it was a year ago.
- 17:32SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
- 17:33SPEAKER_03: So um he let me have the replay of that, and then I obviously, like I said, I'm super into social media.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: So that's when I saw your stuff.
- 17:44SPEAKER_03: Um, you had you went to Madison, you spoke, and I was like, yo, this guy has exactly what I need because I can't spend a ton of money to pay someone else, you know, to do all my ads for me.
- 17:57SPEAKER_03: But I need the little details because I get social media, but I needed, you know, had the background stuff.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: So that's when I found your podcast through that.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: And then I was like, yo, I need this podcast.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: So then I reached out to you.
- 18:13SPEAKER_03: Um, and you luckily you were having like a fall sale or something, like one month for half the cost.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, on the Massive Agent Society, yeah, on the Massive Agent Society.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: And I was like, Yes.
- 18:27SPEAKER_03: So again, borrow the money from my mom,$140, because you know, a year ago that was life-changing money to me.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: I don't say that lightly.
- 18:38SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 18:38SPEAKER_03: Um, and I was like, I'm just gonna go in there and get everything I need, and then I'll be, you know, get the information.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: You know, take it.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: Download it all screenshots and file it away.
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: I was like, I'm just gonna screenshot everything, save all the files.
- 18:53SPEAKER_03: Like I would ever go back through all that, which who does that?
- 18:56SPEAKER_03: Nobody, but right.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: Um sounds good at the time.
- 18:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: So last October sounded great to me, but um quickly again found out that like this is I need way more.
- 19:07SPEAKER_03: I still need help or support implementing these things, you know.
- 19:12SPEAKER_03: Um, so I had in two of those closings that I had last year were the end of the year, like October and December.
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: Um, so I was able to like keep going, but then I was in this super dry spell from December until my next closing wasn't until March 31st.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: And I know exact looking back, I know it's because I was only like I was only watching your guys' videos, or I was only listening to podcasts, and I wasn't actually implementing anything, you know.
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: Yes, or asking for help implementing anything.
- 19:50SPEAKER_03: I was just like trying to take in all of the information, but that doesn't do anything, don't do anything with it.
- 19:58SPEAKER_03: Yes, back it all makes sense.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: And that's that's common.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: I I did that for years, and it yeah, it's incredible.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Um yes, so you you just continue your story, sorry.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: I I totally cut you off there.
- 20:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, that's yeah, you're right.
- 20:17SPEAKER_03: I just wanted to like try and retain all the knowledge, but then I wasn't doing anything with it.
- 20:22SPEAKER_03: So sure.
- 20:23SPEAKER_03: So that's an issue.
- 20:25SPEAKER_03: Um so Neil and yourself were like still doing, I was being in all of your coaching calls, you know, and being like, oh, I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do this, but I had so many ideas I couldn't just narrow it down.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: So that's when I really started to take in what Neil was saying and helping me like structure, okay, what do I want to do with this part of my business?
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: And how does what's what are my strengths, you know?
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: And so I I really started dialing in on that and actually doing the stuff.
- 20:53SPEAKER_03: And lo and behold, it started working.
- 20:55SPEAKER_03: But but I was like, listen, I want to work more with them.
- 20:59SPEAKER_03: So I listen, I brought my little journal because I had to show you something that I wrote in middle of March.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 21:07SPEAKER_03: And um so this is one of those Rachel Hollis start to day journals where you write your dreams, 10 dreams, and you just every day you write them down.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: And you're a journal junkie, aren't you?
- 21:19SPEAKER_03: Listen, don't I know you like to make fun of that with all my not making fun?
- 21:24SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's look at all my colors of pens.
- 21:26SPEAKER_03: They all mean something different.
- 21:28SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: I like it.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: I like it.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: Hey, if you use them, I mean, why not, right?
- 21:33SPEAKER_03: Like Yeah.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:35SPEAKER_03: So back in the middle of March, I wrote it like 20 days in a row that I was going to I thought about this this morning.
- 21:45SPEAKER_03: And so I went and pulled it, went back to it.
- 21:48SPEAKER_03: And um, number five that I wrote down was I am a partner with Dustin and Neil.
- 21:54SPEAKER_03: Because you're supposed to write it as if you're already there.
- 21:57SPEAKER_03: And I just kept writing it and kept writing it and kept writing.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: It and because I just felt like I was like, okay, they they've they have the same mentality that I have, they you know, they want the same things in life, they have the same, you know, goals and morals, and the those are people I want to surround myself with.
- 22:15SPEAKER_03: So I thought it was really cool to bring that and show you that I had that because the end of March, it was my birthday, and I was just like, okay, I I need a change.
- 22:27SPEAKER_03: Um and not because of anyone's fault but my own, but I needed to surround myself with like really forward-thinking people who are gonna help me, you know, break through this plateau that I was on, okay.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: And Neil and I.
- 22:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it was pretty cool the way this works.
- 22:48SPEAKER_03: Can I share that story?
- 22:49SPEAKER_03: Do you care?
- 22:49SPEAKER_03: Please, of course.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is your story, Page.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: You don't need to censor anything here.
- 22:55SPEAKER_03: So what I did next was um I was like scheduled a Zoom call with you about EXP.
- 23:03SPEAKER_03: And I was like, okay, so this is my next step.
- 23:07SPEAKER_03: And at the time at my brokerage, um, I only had a$400 transaction fee.
- 23:13SPEAKER_03: Um, so the 80-20 split, at first I was like, dang, you know, that's more money.
- 23:19SPEAKER_03: And but in my mind, I was like, I need that money at that time, so it was like hard for me to justify.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: But you know, I talked to I remember that same thing before I left my flat fee brokerage.
- 23:31SPEAKER_03: And so hearing you say that on your podcast really made me make the jump.
- 23:35SPEAKER_03: You had mentioned it one of those weeks, like that you had come from, you know,$499 or something.
- 23:41SPEAKER_03: Mine was$400 flat fee.
- 23:44SPEAKER_03: But I was talking to my husband about it, and I had already basically made up my mind in my head, but you know, you just need someone to help help you justify it.
- 23:52SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: Making the jam.
- 23:53SPEAKER_03: And so I had talked to you, and you were like, listen, I can tell you've already made up your mind.
- 23:57SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, I know I have, but it's scary.
- 23:59SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 24:00SPEAKER_03: Um, about joining your EXP team and partnering with you.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: And so I talked to my husband about it, and he's like, baby, like I'm here to support you, whatever you think is best.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: He was like, I know that we're struggling right now.
- 24:10SPEAKER_03: He's like, but what are you gonna get out of it?
- 24:13SPEAKER_03: Like, what what value are you actually gonna get out of it if you make this jump?
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: Which is the right question.
- 24:20SPEAKER_03: I know, and so he was he was spot on because right then I was like, okay, I'm gonna have access to Dustin, which is um, in Neil's terms, my chase pillar, all my online marketing, that's what I do, is online, and then that's you.
- 24:36SPEAKER_03: So I was like, I'm gonna align myself with Dustin, and then um I'll just still be a part of Agent Rise, which will help me, you know, move forward.
- 24:45SPEAKER_03: And I was like, okay, I'm gonna do this.
- 24:48SPEAKER_03: Well, then I was like, well, I should probably include my coach in on this big life change.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: So I called Neil right after I got off the Zoom call with you, and I was like, hey, so I'm thinking about moving brokerages and going with Dustin, you know, but I'm really nervous about it and going to EXP.
- 25:03SPEAKER_03: And he he like cut me off.
- 25:05SPEAKER_03: He was like, no way, I've been thinking about making the move to EXP too, because it's just so flexible that he was about to go on his RV trip with his family and sell everything that it would still work for him to be able to hang his license somewhere, but still be traveling.
- 25:22SPEAKER_03: And it just made so much sense for his family at the time, too.
- 25:25SPEAKER_03: So then I think it was like the next day, us three got on a Zoom call together, and we were like, all right, let's do this together.
- 25:33SPEAKER_03: So Neil and I made the jump together and partnered up with you, and um, it just it was I remember sitting on that call and just being like fangirling so much because both of them because both of my mentors are like in one Zoom call and I was felt super exclusive and like super famous or something, you know, like like such a child.
- 25:56SPEAKER_03: But I was just like so excited that you know, both of my mentors are now gonna be aligned, and I'm like, oh my goodness is amazing for my business because I'll have Neil on my team, I'll have direct access to him all the time, and then Destin 2, like it blew my mind, and um, so that's how it it helped me was just looking at the value, you know, making that jump.
- 26:19SPEAKER_03: And then so let's talk since then.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: So I think the let me add a couple points to that because this the story is incredible to me for for many different reasons.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: It's it's one of those it there's just so much serendipity and and stuff that when you look back at, you're like, I cannot believe the timing of all of that.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: So first off, I need to thank you because you you really are responsible for bringing Neil and I together to partner, you know, at our company.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: And we've been able to do some big stuff so far.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: It's been great for his family, it's been great for mine, it's been great for yours.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: And you know, if it wasn't for you letting him know that you were making a switch, it probably wouldn't have happened.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, Neil and I are close, like we're friends, but I didn't know that he was, I didn't know he was planning on moving.
- 27:08SPEAKER_03: Well, that speaks to another thing about you know talking, just talking to the people around you.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: You never, like you said, you guys are friends, and he had already had the thought and talked to some other agents, you know, to get ideas about exp.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 27:21SPEAKER_03: And so that just talks talks a lot to you.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: Don't know what people other people are doing.
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: So great point, great point, yeah.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know, in hindsight, yeah, I I should have been like talking to him more and pursuing him, I guess, as a potential partner to join the team.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: But um, it it's it's so weird because if one little thing didn't happen, like if if for some reason I mean not to make this like look what I did, but like had I not got gotten on a plane and gone to Madison, Wisconsin to do Neil's Agent Rise Summit, you know, you wouldn't have known who I was, you wouldn't have listened to my podcast, you know, it wouldn't have connected the dots later on.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: It's crazy.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you're so so right because you Massive Agent Society offers exactly what I what I love to do, which is a social media platform.
- 28:16SPEAKER_03: And then with which you're doing great at, by the way.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna get some tips for you on how to do better content on social because you're doing a great job.
- 28:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, thanks.
- 28:24SPEAKER_03: Um, but yeah, you're right.
- 28:26SPEAKER_03: It's so crazy.
- 28:27SPEAKER_03: I talked to my mom about it multiple times.
- 28:29SPEAKER_03: I was just like, I can't believe the way you know, some people say like the stars aligned, like it just everything, it just like happened at the perfect timing.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: It was so good, yeah.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: And you put it in your journal, like what two, three weeks before it happened.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so Neil Neil joined exp on April 1st.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: Yep, and as he says, which is so funny.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: April 1st, no joke.
- 28:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: He loves telling that stupid joke.
- 28:55SPEAKER_03: Umil, right?
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: Um, but so you were putting it in your journal before any of that really happened.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: It's just it's it's mind-boggling.
- 29:05SPEAKER_03: So then it's kind of one of those things that's the whole point, is just kind of to like will it into existence.
- 29:11SPEAKER_03: And so somehow, you know, it works because here I am a year later and we're partnered up together.
- 29:18SPEAKER_03: It wasn't even a year later, but you know, it it happened.
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: Putting things in writing, it's in I've heard this for years.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: Ever since I first started diving into personal development and you know, starting with Tony Robbins and then T.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: Harvecker and you know, literally everybody else.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: I I'd hear you have to set goals and you have to actually write them like with your hand, you have to write them on paper and put them somewhere where you can see them.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: But even if you don't put them somewhere, just writing it has a certain like magical power.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: And I thought that was total bullshit.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: I I'm like, that sounds great, but like I don't believe in this like magical fairy dust bullshit where you write something down and it just happens.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I wonder if it's you're thinking taking more time writing it down, you know?
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, actually exactly.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're like, Well, I I have my goals in my head, like well, I don't need to write it down.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: I've written some stuff on on a whiteboard that's in front of me that I see when I'm sitting here at my desk, and it's mind-boggling.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: When I'll just like glance at it every once in a while, and I'm like, holy shit, like that already happened.
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: Like, I already did that.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: And I love that.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: And see this little uh canvas print behind me.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: I put it on my Instagram story the other day.
- 30:35SPEAKER_03: Your story, that's so exciting.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: I know you guys can't see this because uh you're listening to the podcast, but I bought a canvas print and it says one million dollars a year, um, eight eighty-three thousand three hundred and thirty-three a month, nineteen thousand two hundred and thirty a week, and see I'm trying to talk into my mic and read the damn thing behind me, and two thousand seven hundred and thirty-nine dollars a day, dreams don't work unless you do one of my goals is to earn a million dollars a year, and seeing it broken down by month by week by day, and having that in my office so I see it all the damn time.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: That's one of those visualization things that's just gonna it, it's just a matter of time.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: So, um, guys, if you have goals, being in your head is not good enough.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: Put it out there where you can see it, write it down, buy a damn canvas print if you really want to get crazy with it.
- 31:28SPEAKER_03: Um that's right up my alley.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: So, okay.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: Um so thank you.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: I I appreciate you, and uh, and I'll always have um, you know, I'll always appreciate the fact that that you helped us all become partners together at our at our company, and you know some really cool stuff is happening as a direct result, and and it's awesome.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: Um back to you starting to sell a bunch of homes all of a sudden.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: So you know, and look, I appreciate it.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: I thank you for the kind words.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: It's it's crazy and weird and surreal to kind of to hear that.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: Um to hear that.
- 32:11SPEAKER_01: I appreciate it.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: You have no idea how much that means to me, but I also want you to know that you know, even though we may have played a role in inspiring or encouraging or you know, uh focusing your efforts, you still had to do the work.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: You still had to do the you had to do the things, you know.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: So let's talk about those things.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: What you know, and you're right, Neil Mathweg is I believe he is the best real estate coach in the industry, especially for the money.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: Like the I mean, he should charge 10 times as much as he does, he really should.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because a lot of coaches do, and they're shit.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: Um, but I mean, he's sold a thousand homes, he's he's been the CEO of a brokerage, like he really, really knows his stuff.
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: Uh, what are some of the things that you did that you when when you look back at it now, after all the closed transactions you've had over the last six, seven months, what are some of those things you you did?
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: What are some of those dominoes that you kicked over back then that led to selling a bunch of homes?
- 33:12SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: So, so hands this is gonna sound super cliche and ridiculous, but it's hands down, like what I'm kind of it's kind of what I'm preaching right now is like, okay, so the week after I made the switch, COVID shut down the world.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 33:28SPEAKER_03: And um, and I I already knew that part of my um issues, if you want to call them, or or lack of success was due to my mindset and just like carrying baggage around from even like my childhood, you know, just stupid stuff that that I don't need to even be bothered worrying about.
- 33:49SPEAKER_03: Um so I used the opportunity to when the world was not doing anything and people were afraid to buy houses or go out into the world, you know.
- 33:58SPEAKER_03: And and I don't say that lightly because I know we're still living in it right now, but when the first, you know, onslaught of it happened, the world did shut down.
- 34:07SPEAKER_03: So that's what I'm speaking on, yeah.
- 34:09SPEAKER_03: Um so so I really started working on mindset stuff and and because I knew I couldn't move forward if I was still holding on to, you know, worrying about what everyone else thought about me.
- 34:25SPEAKER_03: And you know, one really recent major one was moving brokerages.
- 34:30SPEAKER_03: Like I that was really that was a hard thing to do because you know, you know this, but my broker was my mother-in-law, and um it, you know, and we're best friends, so I didn't, you know, I was so worried about what she was gonna think that I couldn't move forward like with my actual business because I was worried she was just gonna like not work anymore, you know, some that's tough.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: So that's a sticky situation, you know.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: You're you're you know in business with your family, and then you're saying, Hey, I I'm not gonna be in business with you anymore.
- 35:03SPEAKER_01: Like that's that's not something ever all that all of us have to go through.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: We're just like, oh, let's go from this team to that one now.
- 35:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's a big deal.
- 35:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 35:13SPEAKER_03: So I had to work through that myself, and then also um I have struggled um all of my adult life with with anxiety, like and and I heard Ed Milette say it.
- 35:26SPEAKER_03: Um, this spring there was um um a virtual like summit basically, and Ed Milette was a speaker at it, and I know you've referenced him before, but that was the first time I had even like heard of him.
- 35:40SPEAKER_03: And he said something about anxiety that, and I'll never forget it.
- 35:44SPEAKER_03: I wrote it down next to my desk here.
- 35:46SPEAKER_03: Um, that anxiety is fear of the made-up future.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 35:51SPEAKER_03: And it literally shattered all those walls for me because it's so true.
- 35:57SPEAKER_03: I and my anxiety was so so tightly wound after, you know, at that point, 28 years of just worrying about like literally a made up scenario that in my head that it was crippling.
- 36:13SPEAKER_03: And so I started say that one more time.
- 36:15SPEAKER_01: Uh quote.
- 36:16SPEAKER_03: Um, fear is, or I'm sorry, anxiety is the fear of a made-up future.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 36:24SPEAKER_03: I mean, think about that.
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: It's so true.
- 36:28SPEAKER_03: I would worry about what a family member was gonna think about, you know, what I dressed my kids in.
- 36:33SPEAKER_03: Like it was that that ingrained, or like I couldn't post certain things on social media because I didn't want, you know, people from high school.
- 36:42SPEAKER_03: I graduated 11 years ago.
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: I was worried about what they were gonna think about my career change, you know, like who cares?
- 36:48SPEAKER_03: I haven't even seen them in person in 11 years, and they're off doing their own thing, you know.
- 36:53SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 36:53SPEAKER_03: So, and I I think a lot of people struggle with that, but but it was very deeply ingrained in like every cell of my body.
- 37:00SPEAKER_03: So I was like, okay, I've got to work through this.
- 37:02SPEAKER_03: So I started reading like every I don't even know, self-help book or or like you know, personal development.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Personal development sounds much less you know floofy, whatever.
- 37:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 37:17SPEAKER_03: So I read um David Goggins You Can't Hurt Me, and that book changed my life, Dustin.
- 37:27SPEAKER_03: It and if you get the audiobook also, he um he talks after every chapter and gives you like challenges and gives like more um dialogue on the chapter and stuff.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: So it's like a podcast podcast mixed with an audiobook.
- 37:43SPEAKER_03: Oh god everyone, if you hear this, you need to go.
- 37:47SPEAKER_03: Like you can't hurt me by David Goggins, um, changed my mindset forever.
- 37:52SPEAKER_03: And then also I read You Are a Badass, and that one again helped me just break down even more walls.
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: And I know self-you know, personal development doesn't happen overnight or whatever, but in this things people still always work on, but I was able to break down enough in those few months that COVID shut down everything that it just opened up a whole new world because then at the same time I was you know working on these systems, putting systems in place, and you know, work I was able to, you know, work on my business, and then now here we are.
- 38:27SPEAKER_03: And I I'll never forget uh last month we were on a team call and I was on my way to a closing, and I know that it's never all about the money, um, but uh and I was like start crying on our team call because I'm ridiculous.
- 38:44SPEAKER_03: But um I was I made more money in that one day than I did in the whole prior year.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: Oh shit, yeah.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: Well, that's worth crying over.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: That's um that's incredible.
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: Um, how many closings did you have that day?
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: Was it three or four?
- 39:01SPEAKER_04: I had I had two that day, but I had four that week.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: Four that week, okay.
- 39:06SPEAKER_01: That's a big week.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um that's amazing.
- 39:09SPEAKER_01: That's so cool.
- 39:10SPEAKER_01: So um let's unpack some of this.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: And you know, hearing, you know, because I I'm like, what did you do to turn it around?
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: And you you talked about working on yourself when I was in a certain spot, when I was stuck, when I was struggling, when I was frustrated that things didn't appear to be happening for me.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: Um, money was tight or you know, wasn't even tight, it just wasn't there.
- 39:37SPEAKER_01: Um, whenever somebody was when I'm like, just tell me what to freaking do and I'll do it.
- 39:43SPEAKER_01: Like, tell me the things to do and I'll freaking do it.
- 39:45SPEAKER_01: Every time I heard somebody say, listen to an audiobook or you know, work on yourself, I was like, screw you.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't want to hear that shit.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: But it's true.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: Like they it's not like they're lying to it's just because you may not like the answer doesn't mean it's the wrong answer, you know.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: So that that's I'm glad that you mentioned that because that that's a lot of that is in my story as well.
- 40:12SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, personal development takes a lot of time, but sometimes you can hear a quote, read a certain chapter, read a paragraph, hear a little clip that all of a sudden, like because the mood you're in and the mindset you're in and where you're at that day, it just like it makes a shift and and it causes you to like do something.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: Like maybe it makes you write an email that you wouldn't have done otherwise.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: Maybe it makes you post a certain thing on social media or have a certain phone call or a certain conversation that you've been avoiding, and that thing, boom, causes the next thing to happen.
- 40:48SPEAKER_05: Yep.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: And it and you may not realize that for six months or two or five years, even like, but it starts that process of doing, and and you know, if if you were just doing everything right right now, there's no need for personal development because you're perfect, you're you're freaking perfect.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: If you were do like you you're not listening to this podcast if you have it all figured out, you're just not, unless you're like, I wonder what this jackass is gonna say this week, which I totally understand.
- 41:17SPEAKER_01: Um and it's 1111, by the way.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: Just gotta say that.
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: Personal development absolutely uh plays a huge role in success, but you just don't realize it until you look backwards.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: You don't realize it until you're reflecting back.
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: Um, and that could be as simple as reading 10 pages of a book every day, listening to an audiobook, listening to podcasts.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: But the reason why it's important is it gets you mentally to a point where you start doing things.
- 41:49SPEAKER_01: Because just listening to shit and and do reading books, but never doing anything, like you know, the secret and the freaking red bike, where if you just think about it, it like arrives on your doorstep, doesn't really work that way.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: Like you have to actually do some things.
- 42:02SPEAKER_01: So let's talk about those, okay?
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: The these systems that you put in place, social media, all the stuff.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: Um, you got your you you started working on yourself, working on your mind.
- 42:13SPEAKER_01: What are some of the actions that you started taking as you arrived in that place?
- 42:18SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 42:19SPEAKER_03: So um we talked about like putting pen to paper and how much of a difference that makes.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: Um, and that's really true.
- 42:27SPEAKER_03: So I have my binder here.
- 42:29SPEAKER_03: Now you can't see it.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: Your trapper keeper.
- 42:31SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 42:32SPEAKER_03: And the word focus is my word of like the century.
- 42:35SPEAKER_03: I have it plastered all over around.
- 42:37SPEAKER_03: And so I also write it on my hand during the day in case I get stuck in an Instagram like wormhole, then it's on my hand and it tells me to get off of Instagram.
- 42:46SPEAKER_01: So oh, that never happens.
- 42:47SPEAKER_01: Instagram wormholes, that doesn't ever happen.
- 42:49SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, not to me.
- 42:51SPEAKER_03: Because we're perfect, yeah.
- 42:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: Um so so part of Neil's system is an engagement trigger.
- 42:58SPEAKER_03: So so, you know, what are you actually doing to build your business every day?
- 43:03SPEAKER_03: And this can apply to anyone.
- 43:05SPEAKER_03: You know, he gives us some key things to be doing during the day based off of what we want our business to look like.
- 43:12SPEAKER_03: But are you actually keeping track of what you're doing?
- 43:14SPEAKER_03: Because I mean, there were days still during COVID where like, I think I was like still like depressed because we had zero money and our you know, electricity was gonna be turned off.
- 43:25SPEAKER_03: Like I it was it was a dark time.
- 43:28SPEAKER_03: So like the kids would go to school, or actually they weren't in school, they were home, and I would just like lay in bed.
- 43:34SPEAKER_03: And then by the end of the week, Neil would check in and be like, How many points do you get on your on your engagement tracker?
- 43:39SPEAKER_03: And I had like one, you know, and the goal is to get at least 30 or above.
- 43:45SPEAKER_03: And so then I started so as far as systems, I started actually being like, Okay, it became a race because I grew up as an athlete, and so I started competing, like, okay, how many can I get?
- 43:57SPEAKER_03: You know, and this is even like writing a car.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: To someone for their birthday, or you know, calling someone to um see if they found any houses or even get like their criteria, you know, any conversation that you have, or a face-to-face, which were kind of eliminated during that time, but now they've been back up.
- 44:16SPEAKER_03: Like if I can meet someone for coffee or even do a Zoom call or something with someone about, you know, what they, you know, buying a house or selling a house or you know, listing appointments, anything anything to do with your business, if you keep track of them, oh my goodness, it makes such a difference.
- 44:32SPEAKER_01: Because then you attach points to them, yeah.
- 44:35SPEAKER_03: And so it's a point tracker, and then you when it's like right there in front of you and you see what you actually did that week, it's either super satisfying or super kick in the ass.
- 44:45SPEAKER_03: So yes, so so that's that's one that's like huge, been huge for me.
- 44:51SPEAKER_03: And then also I learned um with you all about the Facebook lead ads and the lead forms through the Massive Agent Society.
- 44:58SPEAKER_03: And so I was doing that and I was getting a ton of leads, but I didn't really know like where those people were going afterwards.
- 45:05SPEAKER_03: So I started pinpointing, figuring out how to do retargeting ads.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: That a girl.
- 45:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 45:13SPEAKER_03: So then I went down like a super wormhole with that.
- 45:16SPEAKER_03: Like it it becomes very fun, but you can't you can easily spend a whole day in there.
- 45:21SPEAKER_01: And a whole and a whole lot of money too.
- 45:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but luckily I don't have to spend too much money.
- 45:26SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: Um, but it's different now because I'm able to, which then brings back more people back around, you know, when they first saw my lead or my ad for it list of homes, and then they're able to continue to see ridiculous videos of me, like like real style, and then they set an appointment with me to talk.
- 45:45SPEAKER_03: I'm like, okay, it's working, you know.
- 45:47SPEAKER_01: Wow, yes.
- 45:48SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: So so let's dive into that a little bit.
- 45:51SPEAKER_01: And this is what Grant Wise was talking about.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: I want to say three, four, five episodes ago, because this is episode 153.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: Um, three, four, five episodes ago with Grant Wise.
- 46:03SPEAKER_01: He's talking about video retargeting of your leads, the people that already gave you their info, but now you just now they start seeing you in their news feed and it increases conversion over time.
- 46:13SPEAKER_01: And and so you've seen that then.
- 46:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 46:16SPEAKER_03: So I think it's been um I at that episode actually, I remember I wrote you a message and I was like, okay, it's 11 a.m.
- 46:22SPEAKER_03: and I've listened to this episode three times.
- 46:25SPEAKER_03: It's like that, like it just clicked for me.
- 46:28SPEAKER_03: And like you said, sometimes you just hear something or you read something and it finally clicks in your mind.
- 46:34SPEAKER_03: And so, um, so I had already kind of dove into figuring out how to do retargeting, but the video part, I'm like, I love doing videos, you know, with um for Facebook.
- 46:45SPEAKER_03: My husband and I do like QA stuff, and it's so much fun.
- 46:48SPEAKER_03: We're in the middle of a series right now about mistakes and things we did buying our first homes, you know, because we got married really young.
- 46:55SPEAKER_03: So so that's really fun.
- 46:57SPEAKER_03: But as far as putting it into retargeting stuff, I started that a few weeks ago.
- 47:01SPEAKER_03: And yeah, I mean, like I have two videos going as far as retargeting, and they each do like$2 a day.
- 47:09SPEAKER_03: And I've had two people in the past couple weeks like click on it, and I know it came from that one because it from the video, because that's the one I have it to where they can set up a phone call with me, like it goes to like a calendarly link.
- 47:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, sweet.
- 47:24SPEAKER_03: And then I wake up and it's just like chilling in my calendar that I have a call with someone that day, and I was like, What?
- 47:30SPEAKER_03: It's actually working, it's so cool.
- 47:34SPEAKER_03: So so that was really cool.
- 47:36SPEAKER_01: That's super cool.
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: So, okay, how are you doing that retargeting?
- 47:40SPEAKER_01: Is it once that you create a custom audience of those who fill out your lead form?
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: I have that even if they just click on it.
- 47:47SPEAKER_03: So I set it to where if they click on it um on my ad, it's a carousel of um not a carousel, but it's a video, a slideshow of homes in the area, and it says like Hamilton County, homes under$300,000.
- 48:04SPEAKER_03: And then at the top, I decide to do something new.
- 48:06SPEAKER_03: I put like those little red alarm emojis and I put updated hourly because then it makes it look like it's like we know it's updated, but if they see it multiple times, they might think it's not updated.
- 48:18SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 48:18SPEAKER_03: I was trying to look at it from like the consumer side of it, and um, so if they even click on that, then they get put into a custom audience, and then I have it set to where one of the little reels type video plays for them within the first three days, and then after that third day, there's another video that pops up in their slide in their um timeline.
- 48:42SPEAKER_03: So I keep getting more ideas for more videos, but we'll see.
- 48:46SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 48:47SPEAKER_01: I and and two dollars a day is great, two or three bucks a day is great for stuff like that.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, it's not like you have 500 people a day clicking on your ad.
- 48:57SPEAKER_01: That'd be great.
- 48:58SPEAKER_01: You'd have to have a pretty big budget for that to happen.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: But you know, you might have I don't know, 50, 30 people click in a day, maybe, maybe you know, five to ten leads from it, but you're retargeting those that click, whether they submit the lead form or not.
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and and it's super powerful for those that do submit the form and become a lead, because as we all know, most people aren't gonna respond, not for a while.
- 49:23SPEAKER_01: Even if you do literally everything right with your follow-up and your drip campaigns, and and you know, you respond to them instantly when they submit their form and do a great job.
- 49:35SPEAKER_01: People are still people, they still, you know, it takes a lot of different impressions over time to get somebody to respond.
- 49:44SPEAKER_01: But when you all of a sudden start showing up with videos of you just being yourself in their news feed, now they're like, Oh, Paige, like, wasn't I on her website a minute ago, or didn't I that that's the ad I filled out or the lead form I filled out?
- 49:59SPEAKER_01: And then they start seeing you, and they think you're everywhere, they think you are the biggest agent in town because to them you are, because you're literally all over their news feed.
- 50:09SPEAKER_01: It's so powerful, and it doesn't have to be expensive when you do it the way you're doing.
- 50:13SPEAKER_01: Um, I I love those.
- 50:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so that's exciting, but I forgot to tell you something really cool that happened this last Saturday.
- 50:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the first time that anything like this has happened where I was recognized.
- 50:25SPEAKER_03: And and oh my goodness, it was like out in the world recognized, yeah, like in person.
- 50:31SPEAKER_01: So famous page.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: Love it, you deserve it.
- 50:35SPEAKER_03: No, so it's actually really weird story.
- 50:37SPEAKER_03: So she she clicked, she clicked on that lead form and became a lead, and her husband did as well.
- 50:43SPEAKER_03: Okay, so I had cut had a conversation with them, and they're like, listen, they live an hour and a half away out east, like almost close to Ohio, okay, but she works here in Noblesville.
- 50:54SPEAKER_03: And um she was like, Yeah, you know, we're thinking about moving out there, but it might not be for another year or so.
- 51:01SPEAKER_03: But, you know, thank you for being in touch with us.
- 51:03SPEAKER_03: And then I talked to her husband too, and he said the same thing.
- 51:06SPEAKER_03: And so, you know, I didn't want to like lose them or whatever.
- 51:09SPEAKER_03: So I still keep them on like getting lists of homes and stuff, and then I also send a weekly email newsletter to everyone in my database um because that just lets me get like my design part that I like, my marketing thing out of my system every week that I like to do because then I can make it.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: That's a big deal.
- 51:27SPEAKER_01: That's a big deal.
- 51:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, then I can make it really pretty.
- 51:30SPEAKER_03: So I started doing that also.
- 51:31SPEAKER_03: That could kind of go into systems everywhere.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: Real quick, what do you send it with?
- 51:34SPEAKER_01: Do you use MailChamp or KB Core or how do you send it?
- 51:37SPEAKER_03: Flow desk.
- 51:39SPEAKER_01: You use WhatsApp?
- 51:40SPEAKER_01: Flow desk.
- 51:40SPEAKER_03: FLL flow desk, yeah.
- 51:42SPEAKER_03: And it's um it's like$19 a month.
- 51:45SPEAKER_03: There's a free version, but I like the the different things you can do.
- 51:49SPEAKER_03: But I just have a zap set up, so zapier any new lead that goes into my KB core, then zaps over into Flow Desk automatically.
- 51:59SPEAKER_03: And then every Wednesday I just go do and I just do like two or three, four points, and then I also have it linked to my Instagram at the bottom.
- 52:06SPEAKER_03: It shows like the last three things that I posted on my Instagram.
- 52:10SPEAKER_03: So if they click on that part of it, it'll go straight to my Instagram, and then I've noticed more followers that way.
- 52:16SPEAKER_03: Um, but that is something that's another system that I've implemented since we're on that.
- 52:20SPEAKER_03: Um so they were awesome.
- 52:23SPEAKER_03: So she's been on that list too.
- 52:25SPEAKER_03: Well, okay, this weekend I went and made an appointment.
- 52:29SPEAKER_03: I don't know, you may have seen my post because again, social media is life.
- 52:34SPEAKER_03: Um, I went and got microblading done for my eyebrows, something I've wanted to do for years, but I've never like one been able to spoil myself with something like that, or two, just like that's one, the main thing.
- 52:45SPEAKER_03: I haven't been able to do it.
- 52:46SPEAKER_01: So oh, I saw it.
- 52:49SPEAKER_01: As a as a guy, I don't understand it.
- 52:51SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm like, teach me.
- 52:53SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't, I don't, I don't get it.
- 52:55SPEAKER_01: So I noticed it.
- 52:56SPEAKER_01: I I know the post you're talking about.
- 52:57SPEAKER_03: The post, yeah.
- 52:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:59SPEAKER_03: Well, um, so I had made that appointment, and it was just a girl here in Noblesville.
- 53:03SPEAKER_03: Um, my mother-in-law gets her lashes done at this shop, so it was she's very highly recommended this shop.
- 53:10SPEAKER_03: And I know this is all stuff that like you don't care about because you're a man, but whatever.
- 53:14SPEAKER_03: It it pleads into the story.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 53:17SPEAKER_03: So the girl that's sitting there doing my eyebrows, you know, it's basically a tattoo that lasts for two years, just to put it in this perspective for you, so that you understand.
- 53:26SPEAKER_01: Got it.
- 53:27SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 53:28SPEAKER_03: So she's doing my eyebrows, and she was like, Yeah, so um we were talking about marketing because I loved her Instagram.
- 53:36SPEAKER_03: And I was like, you know, I followed you, and she was like, So I knew who you were when you came on my calendar because I recognized your name.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: Um, I love your weekly emails, and then I started seeing your videos in my timeline, and I was like, What?
- 53:50SPEAKER_03: You know, like I didn't make any connection.
- 53:51SPEAKER_03: I was like, Really?
- 53:52SPEAKER_03: You get my emails?
- 53:53SPEAKER_03: She was like, Yeah, my husband and I um we actually chatted with you a couple months ago about um moving in a couple years, and I was like, I knew their names and everything.
- 54:03SPEAKER_03: It all clicked for me, and I couldn't believe it.
- 54:05SPEAKER_03: And she was like, So when your name popped up on my calendar, I had remembered your videos and then also your weekly emails, but I didn't want to say anything until I met you in person to make sure you were like a real person.
- 54:15SPEAKER_03: And I was like, So now that just locked in those clients, you know, for whenever they're ready to move, and now they're taking it more seriously and they're gonna talk with the lender.
- 54:25SPEAKER_03: But it was the craziest thing, like how that happened.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: That's amazing.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: When you just start doing little things, and because doing a weekly email, that that's that's not a huge thing, like it doesn't take all week to do, it doesn't cost a thousand dollars to do.
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: It's it's something you could do in an hour per week, you know.
- 54:46SPEAKER_01: Um, and it may seem like oh, nobody responded, you know, only only 20, only 30 opened it, maybe only 10 opened it.
- 54:55SPEAKER_03: You can see who opened it, you can see who clicked on what links and everything.
- 54:58SPEAKER_03: And sometimes it is like, wow, only like a 30% of the people even opened it, and like six people actually clicked on a link.
- 55:05SPEAKER_03: But hey, it made enough of an impression that she knew who I was.
- 55:09SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 55:10SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: You start doing these things and it just started working for you.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: Um what what are your what are your plans or um what are your goals for 2021?
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: Let's talk about that because you know, I think now you see how much you can actually do.
- 55:30SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, I I know that you've built a lot of belief in yourself, which is amazing, and it's been proven out.
- 55:37SPEAKER_01: What are your goals for 2021?
- 55:38SPEAKER_01: What do you see happening?
- 55:41SPEAKER_03: My year has kind of shifted now that um with EXP, I love that.
- 55:48SPEAKER_03: Um my year, my year has shifted a little bit.
- 55:52SPEAKER_03: I don't necessarily look at like January 1st or anything at this point.
- 55:56SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 55:56SPEAKER_03: Because my fiscal year with EXP starts May 1st.
- 56:00SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 56:01SPEAKER_03: Um, which is kind of fun because that's the anniversary of my real estate license.
- 56:05SPEAKER_03: And so it's it all worked that like that's the perfect year loop.
- 56:09SPEAKER_03: So so my first year I did three transactions.
- 56:13SPEAKER_03: I'm on uh like calendar year, and then this calendar year since July um now I've done 15.
- 56:22SPEAKER_03: So I've way surpassed what I did last year.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: Yes, that's amazing.
- 56:28SPEAKER_03: That's amazing.
- 56:29SPEAKER_03: Um and so now in December, I am going to cap.
- 56:36SPEAKER_03: You know, for the first time I made a really huge post on Instagram about this because it all goes back to that mindset thing.
- 56:42SPEAKER_03: Like I never thought that I I guess I like saw like, oh, you you're oh cool, you were able to cap at EXP, but I never put myself in that position that like I would even get there.
- 56:52SPEAKER_03: I just thought it was like, okay, I have an 80-20 split, and then after you cap, you get a hundred percent.
- 56:57SPEAKER_01: But I just didn't even put myself in that arena for some because those other agents, those that actually sell enough to cap, right?
- 57:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like you just like you didn't see yourself as one of them.
- 57:08SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 57:08SPEAKER_03: I was just like, no, I'm never.
- 57:10SPEAKER_03: Well, you know, a few weeks ago, I was like, wait a minute, I'm like one transaction away from capping, like getting it under contract.
- 57:17SPEAKER_03: And I did like last week I got them under contract, and now when we close in December, that'll cap me.
- 57:23SPEAKER_03: And that leaves five full months of just either a hundred percent, you know, commission, which is amazing because it'll restart May 1st.
- 57:34SPEAKER_03: Um, or now I've set up a different goal.
- 57:37SPEAKER_03: Uh, it's a little daunting as the days tick by, but I love the exp gives you that next level award by units, not by dollar amount.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: So to cap it's at 16,000.
- 57:50SPEAKER_03: But to hit icon status, if you cap and then also um sell 20 more properties um before your anniversary date, you get icon status.
- 58:05SPEAKER_03: And um so that's what I said.
- 58:08SPEAKER_03: I spoke it out into the world and I cried all over the world thinking that I could even possibly do that.
- 58:13SPEAKER_03: If you can't tell from this episode, I'm very emotional.
- 58:16SPEAKER_00: Um so so am I.
- 58:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 58:20SPEAKER_01: Big cryer.
- 58:22SPEAKER_01: I really am actually.
- 58:23SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you're making fun of me or I guess kind of, to be fair.
- 58:27SPEAKER_01: I guess I guess kind of.
- 58:28SPEAKER_01: I'm just you know talking shit.
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: But I mean, I just I don't cry on the podcast, but you know, yeah, I get it.
- 58:34SPEAKER_01: I get it.
- 58:35SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna stop talking about that before I do start crying on your podcast because I eat tissue just in case.
- 58:40SPEAKER_03: But do you want to kind of explain what that means for icon status?
- 58:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so if you if you sell 20 additional properties after capping, you get your whole sixteen thousand dollar cap given back to you in the form of company stock in eXpi, exp world holdings.
- 58:58SPEAKER_01: And uh amazing.
- 58:59SPEAKER_01: So basically, if you sell, you know, and capping, you could do that in three three transactions if you're in California or Hawaii or New York.
- 59:08SPEAKER_01: Um, it you know, whatever 16,000 is 20 of your deals equals six sixteen thousand.
- 59:14SPEAKER_01: It's about 2.6 million in production.
- 59:16SPEAKER_01: After that, still 20 additional units.
- 59:19SPEAKER_01: If you're selling, you know, 20, 25 homes in a year.
- 59:22SPEAKER_01: Um, EXP will give you your whole cap back in stock, which uh I'm buying the shit out of the stock right now.
- 59:30SPEAKER_01: Like I'm buying it.
- 59:32SPEAKER_01: Um all the money that I uh have set aside for investment, I'm putting it all in there.
- 59:38SPEAKER_01: Well, most of it, not all of it, but most of it.
- 59:41SPEAKER_01: So that is something that will pay off years later.
- 59:45SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh, that 16,000 is now worth 48,000 or 60 or whatever.
- 59:50SPEAKER_01: So cool program for those that are selling 20 something homes.
- 59:53SPEAKER_01: And I love that you uh that you set the goal of doing that in in the next five months, well, six months.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_01: And uh you can do that, you know.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_01: That's that's less than four homes per month, and you've been doing that the last couple months.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you've you've just got to keep doing those things and you know, doubling down.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_01: And as you know this, I I know you know this, but for those that maybe haven't done this before, you're just starting to get some momentum.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_01: You have to figure out a way to keep doing the things that got you busy in the first place.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_01: The this happens all the time with agents.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_01: That's why we have the boom and bust.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_01: You know, we're sell a bunch of homes and then oh shit, I don't have any more homes to sell, like I don't have any clients, and you start the cycle again.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_01: The reason why that happens is we stop doing the things that got us busy.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_01: So your weekly email or spending that money on Facebook ads and the retargeting campaign.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_01: Uh, even if you want to, you know, pair back on getting new leads and you just want to retarget videos to your network, you could just do a custom audience of your email list and just everyone you went to high school with, now they see you all through their news feed all the all the damn time.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_01: Um, but you've got to keep doing that stuff if that's what got you busy in the first place.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I know I know you, I know you're gonna do that.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_01: Um and you can absolutely reach it.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_01: It's uh it you know, it's a very achievable goal, not easy, but not impossible.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and uh, you know, and now it's out there on the Massive Agent Podcast page.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: You've got to do it.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_03: Now it's not just on my Facebook, it's out to the world.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_03: So here we go.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_03: Now I can't feel so kind of that's the same thing.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_03: I started 75 Heart after you, you know, you I'm glad you brought that up.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm super proud of you for this.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_03: But um, but here we go.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_03: So I'm on day seven right now.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_03: You're you know, you you you shared, like I'm so thankful that you shared your journey and your wife, Jordan's journey.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_03: Like you guys were a huge inspiration for this.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_03: And um, and so not just mental change is what I needed, but I've also needed, you know, I've needed to feel better physically and I needed more energy.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_03: And you know, I've gotten a little pudgy since COVID happened, so it doesn't hurt that.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_01: And um the the COVID-19, yes, easily.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_03: And um, and it, you know, I'm two years past my last baby, so I can't blame it on baby weight anymore.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_03: Um, so so yeah, I'm on day seven right now, and uh I'm super excited about it.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_03: And I put that out into the world too, so I couldn't take it back either.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_01: So Paige, I I'm so freaking proud of you because 75 hard, it's it becomes easy at the end, or not, it's it's not easy, it becomes routine, nor well, okay, it's it's hard, but you get used to it, you know, to where it feels easy when you're just doing hard shit and making it easy, right?
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_01: Uh, that's where you're going, and it's really cool.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_01: But I remember how nervous I was to start, how intimidated I was.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_01: Um, once you start, once you get the first day done, you're like, okay, I'm gonna do this tomorrow.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_01: I'm freaking exhausted and I gotta get to bed earlier than I normally do, and I've got to really be on point.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_03: And my body is so sore after two days.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, there's that.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_01: Expect that for the first few weeks.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_01: Um it wasn't until like day 21 or 24 that I my body got used to the two exercise, uh, two workouts a day.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_01: But what I love about your whole story to kind of like tie a bow on this, you've taken drastic action, like no one thing except for 75 hard.
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_01: That that's a big commitment of time, of mental energy.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_01: Um, and you still have to do all the other stuff.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_01: That's why it it that's why it's such an impactful program.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_01: It's like a Andy Frisella, the creator, calls it um like a mental Iron Man.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it really is.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_01: But that's like a big thing.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_01: All the other stuff is is a bunch of little things that add up to a very, very big thing.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_01: And you just take in drastic action and you're getting results from it.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_01: It's amazing.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_01: I I cannot everybody listening.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_01: If you didn't hear my episode last week on how one decision can change your life and how fast it can change your life, and we talk a lot more about the 75 Hard program.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_01: If you're just hearing about it for the first time, go back there or go to 75hard.com, it's totally free thing.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_01: Um but when you just start doing the things that you know you need to do and then you do them consistently, things turn around.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_01: You start selling homes, and then Paige can come on the podcast and say that she in one day made more money than the entire previous year.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: That is amazing.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_01: And I think I just figured out the episode title.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_01: I'll figure out how to word that, but that's a good episode title.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_03: So I, you know, there's a lot of people that were like, I'm gonna wait till after Thanksgiving to start, you know, 75 Heart or maybe the new year.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_03: And and I totally get that because that's where my head was.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_03: But then after your episode last week, I was like, okay, like, like I need this mental shift and the physical change to have a little bit more confidence too, so that I can hit icon status.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_03: So I was like, Oh, screw it.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_03: I'm just gonna go ahead and start.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_03: So I just last Tuesday I was like, my husband's like, Where are you going?
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I'm going on a walk, it's cold, but I need to be outside for this one.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_03: And he was like, Oh, you started, and I was like, I guess, you know.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_03: So that but I needed to go ahead and start because like I really want to hit icon my first year with EXP.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_03: One, I didn't even know that was a thing, but that it could be accomplished, but here I am.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_03: So I'm like 75 75 hard might give me that mental and physical push to to will through it.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_01: So damn right.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_01: And man, it's just it's incredible how much more natural energy you'll develop.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_01: You'll you know, you'll lose weight, you'll lose body fat, you're gonna feel better about yourself.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_01: You're going to when when on those days that you're like, I'm busy as shit, I haven't been able to work out yet.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_01: I and it's dinner time and I still have two workouts to do, and then You figure out a way to make those happen.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_01: You do one at seven, and then another one at 10:30.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_01: Uh, doing those things that you're like, that most people would quit, or most people would would be like, I can't do it today.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_01: Like, I screwed up, I'm gonna have to start over.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_01: And when you do it, you you now have just shown yourself that you can do hard things, and each hard thing gets a little bit easier, and that gives you such a mental edge and a physical edge.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_01: And I'm excited for you because I remember where I was at mentally when I started, when I was a weekend.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_01: So good for you, Paige.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_01: Um, really proud of you.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_01: You're doing some cool shit, and uh, I'm just I'm excited for your family, and it's cool to watch your your success.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_01: So thank you for sharing your story.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_01: Um, we need to do the rapid fire questions and then wrap this sucker up.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_01: We have our team call here in 20 minutes.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, when I first heard your podcast, I was like, oh, one day I'm gonna be on there and I've I'm gonna have all these answers already.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_03: So this is like basically a dream come true.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_01: Well, all right.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_01: Well, I actually changed up all the questions, they're all brand new this week.
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_03: Oh, dang!
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_04: No, I'm just getting for a year.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_01: No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_01: I'm just kidding.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_01: All right, rapid fire questions, then we'll let uh we'll give people a way to follow you and you know, reach out to you if they have questions for you.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_01: Um, either or pick one or the other.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_01: You don't need to elaborate unless you want to.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_01: Facebook or Instagram?
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_03: Oh man, I thought I knew, but I've I've recently become I like looking on Instagram, but I like um I like the algorithm of Facebook better.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_01: So there's that.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_01: You've been waiting all this time and then you're like zero in the headlights.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_03: And then I got put on the spot.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_01: That's funny.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: Uh sorry, which one did you say?
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_01: Or you like them both for different reasons?
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_03: I enjoy Instagram for pleasure.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_03: I like business, Facebook.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_01: Okay, cool.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_01: Instagram or it or LinkedIn?
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_01: Instagram books or podcasts.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_03: Podcasts, but now 75 Hard makes me read every day.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_03: So we'll see what my answer is, you know, 75 days from now.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_03: But I love podcasts.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_03: Love podcasts.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_01: Podcasts or audiobooks.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_04: Podcasts.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_01: It sounded painful.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_01: iPhone or Android?
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_03: Oh, iPhone for sure.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_03: Everything Apple.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_01: Good call.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_01: Alexa or Google Home.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, we have too many Alexas in my house, but I wouldn't change it.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_01: Burgers or pizza?
- 1:08:29SPEAKER_03: Oh, pizza.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_01: New York or LA.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_03: I have never been to either, either.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_01: Um you've never met in the mountains, right?
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_03: What is wrong?
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_03: I've just been stuck in the Midwest for my whole life.
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_01: When you hit icon status, you better uh you need a reward, okay?
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_01: Both for completing 75 hard and for hitting icon.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_01: You need to plan a trip.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_03: Whether that's you're the one that told me if I hit icon, you're flying out here.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_03: So nice try to try and forget that.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_03: But you said it in our team call.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_01: I didn't say that they both can't happen.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_03: Okay, okay, you're right.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_01: My I told you I'm taking you and your husband to dinner when you hit icon status.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so then we'll fly out to the mountains and I can experience that for the first time.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_03: If I had to choose, I would choose beach over Stargo, California.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_03: I don't know if there's a beach in LA, but yes, yes, there is.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_01: There is indeed.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_01: Um, but LA's a very big city.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_01: LA sucks, to be honest with you.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_03: Okay, but in New York, I don't know.
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_01: But like you know, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_03: Um I've been to San Diego.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, fantastic.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_01: San Diego's amazing.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_01: Uh NFL or NBA?
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_03: NFL for sure.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_01: Um football or baseball?
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_03: Football.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_01: College or pro.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_03: Pro.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_01: You must be a Colts fan.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we just beat uh the Packers this week, so yay.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_01: Fantastic.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_01: It's so weird.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_01: I have not paid attention at all to the NFL.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_01: I don't even know any of the the new players like this season has been really weird.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_03: Normally we were really big on our fantasy team and stuff, but this COVID just screwed everything up.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_01: COVID and I don't know, just busy, I guess, or something.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_01: Um mountains or beach?
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_03: Normally I'd say beach, but you you've been compelling us to say mountains, so it's a good call.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_01: Bubble, nope, that's an old one.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_01: Podcast or vlog.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_04: Podcast.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_01: YouTube or Facebook Live.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_04: Facebook Live.
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_01: Uber or Lyft.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_03: Uber.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_03: I don't use that.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_03: I've only been on Uber like twice.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_03: So really when I was in Florida.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_03: So Okay.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_01: Gary V or Grant Cardone.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_03: Neither.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 1:10:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_03: Um 10X, and I liked that book.
- 1:10:54unknown: Yeah.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_03: But I don't like his stupid ads.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_03: He is the m-he just seems like so full of himself, so I can't handle it.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_03: I can't stand it.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_03: So he is.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_03: Then we'll go Gary V.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_01: That's what I love about 10X, though, is he like his uh and I mentioned this before, but what I even though I don't like him personally, he the reason we even know who Grant Cardone is, is because we see him fricking everywhere.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_01: And if you want to build a brand, if you want to be successful, whether that's in in Naplesville, Indiana, or the world, you need everyone to see you over and over and over and over and over and over again.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_01: And he's really freaking good at that.
- 1:11:36SPEAKER_01: Um that's it.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_01: But uh, but yeah, he's a douchebag.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_01: What's the most impactful book you've ever read or listened to?
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_03: So I'll go back to You Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_03: That was that, yeah, that changed everything.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_01: That's cool.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_01: Um, that one got me running at the gym.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_01: Um, I was like, shit, if he can run a hundred miles with like broken kneecaps, uh, you know, I or no broken shins.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_03: His shin he duct taped them.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he duct taped his broken shins and ran another 30 or 70 miles or something.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_01: Like the guy is amazing.
- 1:12:13SPEAKER_01: He got me running.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_01: Um, last one, one app recommendation.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_01: Any new apps that you're playing with or obsessed with?
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_03: Well, the one app that I now have on my home screen is the 75 heart app, but there you go.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_03: Let's see.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_03: Oh, you know, uh My Fitness pal.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_03: Um tracking your food.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but I am actually so my diet choice um is Weight Watchers.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_03: So I've been using that app a lot to stay within points and stuff.
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_03: It's hard for me to follow macros and stuff.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_03: I don't know why it just doesn't click in my brain, but system with Weight Watchers, it it just works for me.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_03: So that's what I'm doing.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_03: Um here's one uh social coach.
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_03: That's on my home screen too.
- 1:13:00SPEAKER_00: I've heard of that one.
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so so you know I'm on Dustin Broome's you know social coach platform.
- 1:13:08SPEAKER_03: So there's that.
- 1:13:09SPEAKER_01: MassiveAgent Daily.com.
- 1:13:10SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Pai.
- 1:13:11SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_01: Like it, cool.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_01: Where can people find you?
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_01: How can they follow you?
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_01: What are your uh social media handles?
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so everywhere.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_03: Uh LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram is uh Page Sells Indie.
- 1:13:26SPEAKER_01: P-A-I-G-E.
- 1:13:28SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_01: Sells Indy.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 1:13:31SPEAKER_03: Awesome.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_03: That's where I am.
- 1:13:33SPEAKER_01: Paige, thank you so much.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm super freaking proud of you.
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_01: You're doing amazing.
- 1:13:38SPEAKER_01: You can absolutely hit icon status.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_01: You have over five months.
- 1:13:43SPEAKER_01: Just uh, you know, lay out the plan and stick to it.
- 1:13:46SPEAKER_01: You'll get it.
- 1:13:47SPEAKER_03: Well, now you spoke it to the world, so I can't back down now.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_01: We both did.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_01: We both spoke it to the world.
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_01: It's good, it's happening.
- 1:13:54unknown: Thanks.
- 1:13:55SPEAKER_03: You know, you've been a huge part of this, so I appreciate you.
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_01: Appreciate it.
- 1:13:59SPEAKER_01: Talk soon.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_03: See ya.
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_01: She's amazing.
- 1:14:02SPEAKER_01: Paige, congrats on doing 75 hard.
- 1:14:05SPEAKER_01: It's uh it's hard.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_01: It's hard, but it's hard mentally and but for reasons different than you think.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm just proud of you.

- 1:14:26SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's like an image or a meme or a specific saying or phrase or whatever, and you can just boop-boop boop, click a few buttons and post it.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's a video saying, hey, here's what you need to post today and here's why.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_01: So there's training and coaching involved.
- 1:14:39SPEAKER_01: The goal is to not just tell you what to post every day so you're you're not spending time worrying about or thinking about what to post and then still posting crap, which a lot of us do.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_01: We waste way too much time and still post pure, pure dog shit.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_01: Well, let's stop doing that.
- 1:14:55SPEAKER_01: We'll tell you what to post that's actually good, that will actually work, and we'll teach you why so that you don't need us anymore at a certain point.
- 1:15:01SPEAKER_01: You're a master of social media marketing too.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_01: So you can get that at massiveagentdaily.com.
- 1:15:07SPEAKER_01: Still, one of the most common questions I get is what do you use for a website?
- 1:15:12SPEAKER_01: What do you use for a CRM?
- 1:15:13SPEAKER_01: Well, I'll tell you the CRM.
- 1:15:15SPEAKER_01: I use two CRMs.
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_01: I use KV Core for website and CRM because we get that as EXP agents.
- 1:15:22SPEAKER_01: With my company, we we get those.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_01: Those are amazing.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_01: I do not recommend you buy them on your own because it's$500 to$1,000 a month.
- 1:15:30SPEAKER_01: Not a good investment.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_01: Well, it if you have a large budget, if you can make that work, it's a great freaking platform.
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_01: Use KV Core.
- 1:15:37SPEAKER_01: But the vast majority of us don't have a budget where we can spend an extra$500 to$1,000 a month, nor does it make sense based on our goals.
- 1:15:44SPEAKER_01: So Easy Agent Pro is the website I've been using for a long time, for shit, almost four years now, MassiveAgent Podcast.com/slash EAP.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_01: And you can find out more about them.
- 1:15:55SPEAKER_01: I still have my website with Easy Agent Pro.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_01: I still believe they are hands down, without a doubt, and not even frickin' close, the best value in our real estate industry.
- 1:16:06SPEAKER_01: The best value for a real estate agent website that I've ever seen for less than$200 a month is Easy Agent Pro.
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_01: And then the CRM that I recommend, if you don't have KV Core, if you're not part of our team or part of our company or a company that provides that, is Wise Agent.
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_01: WiseAgent lets uh man, it gives you a local phone number to text with, um, video email, video text.
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_01: You can actually, when you get a lead, it automatically populates their social media profiles.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_01: You could, like, if they leave you bogus contact info, you can go like add them on Pinterest.
- 1:16:40SPEAKER_01: You can follow their board on Pinterest, you can add them on Twitter, add them on Facebook, and connect with them that way.
- 1:16:46SPEAKER_01: Um, landing pages that you can customize and create so you don't have to go get lead pages or something like that.
- 1:16:52SPEAKER_01: Um, I am a huge fan of Wise Agent, and they are doing a 14-day free trial.
- 1:16:57SPEAKER_01: And if you use MassiveAgenPodcast.com slash Massive Agent, if you use that link and go through that link, they will connect you with our promo code.
- 1:17:08SPEAKER_01: And what that gives you, in addition to the 14-day free trial, all of my drip campaigns, the drip campaigns that I personally use for buyers, for sellers, and open house attendees, you can download and import into your wise agent account for free, but you have to go through massive agentpodcast.com/slash wise agent.
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_01: And if you're a current wise agent user, just email support or you know, click the support button and say, Hey, um, I want to be attached to the Massive Agent promo so I can get the drip campaigns.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_01: If you have not listened to episode 149 just a few weeks ago with Grant Wise, it's called The Problem with Facebook Ads.
- 1:17:44SPEAKER_01: You guys, as real estate agents trying to grow a business, you need to go listen to that.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_01: Um Grant Wise is he's somebody that I look up to.
- 1:17:54SPEAKER_01: He understands Facebook advertising so very well.
- 1:17:58SPEAKER_01: Um, and on that episode 149, he gives some amazing advice on how you can use video retargeting to dramatically increase how many of your leads you convert into clients.
- 1:18:09SPEAKER_01: And so we talk about that on 149.
- 1:18:11SPEAKER_01: But what we also talk about is this easy button that he's created to help agents automate their Facebook advertising.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_01: Now, you guys know I have the Massive Agent Society.
- 1:18:20SPEAKER_01: I'm a big believer that we need to know how to control, how to do the Facebook advertising ourselves.
- 1:18:28SPEAKER_01: However, sometimes it makes so much sense to automate the mechanical process of doing it.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_01: So I've been using Grant's new uh software platform called Whitley, all right.
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_01: And we talked about that in episode 149.
- 1:18:42SPEAKER_01: Again, for the for like the 17th time in the last two minutes, go listen to episode 149, please, after this one.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_01: But his platform, Whitley, automates the mechanics of running a Facebook ad.
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_01: So you can focus on what you want the ad to do, what you want it to say.
- 1:18:58SPEAKER_01: And the Whitley platform, which I've personally been using and I think it's freaking amazing, it will do for you.
- 1:19:05SPEAKER_01: And it will actually automate and update some of your retargeting audiences automatically when you get new leads coming in.
- 1:19:11SPEAKER_01: You get a new lead comes in, it goes to your CRM, and boom, Whitley starts retargeting that lead with the ads that you have set up that you want to show that lead, like videos, uh, certain posts or articles you've written or whatever.
- 1:19:24SPEAKER_01: And it happens automatically.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_01: Whitley is a huge time saver.
- 1:19:27SPEAKER_01: I cannot recommend it enough.
- 1:19:29SPEAKER_01: Go over to MassiveAgent Podcast.com slash Whitley, give it a shot.
- 1:19:34SPEAKER_01: They have a free trial, but after you use the free trial, you're gonna be like, uh yeah, I gotta do this, I gotta use this.
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_01: Like I said, I'm personally using Whitley, I'm a big fan.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_01: Um it it helps take a lot of the time away, the mechanics of doing the ad properly.
- 1:19:50SPEAKER_01: It it just removes that and automates it for you.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_01: And so you can focus on just what kind of ads do you want to run, and Whitley runs them for you.
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_01: Lastly, I said last like a hundred times this episode.
- 1:20:02SPEAKER_01: It's kind of weird.
- 1:20:03SPEAKER_01: Anyways, for last time, MassiveAgent Podcast.com slash Whitley.
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_01: That's W-I-T-L-Y.
- 1:20:09SPEAKER_01: Go check it out, go use the free trial, and I think you guys will love it as much as I do, maybe even more.
