- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: All right, welcome back to another episode of the gym business coach podcast.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm your host today, Randy Anxon joined with a special guest in studio, Mr. Ray Leak from 97 Display.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: How are we doing today?
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Good, right, it's so excited to be here and spend time with you guys.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: So 97 Displays out of is it Winston Salem?
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: Out of Winston Salem, North Carolina.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina, you're in town, visit and we said, hey, you're in town.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get you on the show.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about websites.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we've heard websites are dead.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: We've heard, you know, if you're not paying for ads, paying for leads, you're not gonna get the traction, but we don't believe that.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, you have a whole organization built around websites.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: That can speak to the legitimacy and the value a website can provide for a fitness facility.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: But before we dive into the specifics of the website themselves, once you give us a little background on a 97 display.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: marketing agency and it's kind of changed over the years to be more of a digital software provider to the fitness industry.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: Our three big categories are gem owners, martial arts and dance.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: We really focus on those three verticals.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: and focused on developing websites in the past now.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just websites, but it's basically lead generation platforms.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: Because websites are great, but leads are what, and customers are what we want.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: So we've really focused over the last several years on how do we create a platform or a multiple platforms that work together to optimize lead performance and improve ROI.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: Perfect.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously the topic of hand here is websites.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: The game is changed, you know, everybody's with the AI culture, the progression of software, technology, things along those lines.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: You guys have some really cool features that are brand new, essentially, that we want to dive into because ultimately, like you said, you nailed it.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, leaves are valuable, but what we need at the end of the day is the customer.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: Generating leads, websites have done that for years.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: But how do we get that client or the team that lead to then become a client?
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that some of these features can really help with that.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Why don't we start with the visibility IQ?
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is something that we were talking about before the episode that's really interesting to me because it takes, you know, if you think about your traditional website for you guys listening, right?
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: You built your website, maybe you found somebody local or, you know, maybe you jumped on wicks yourself or built something out.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: And with all of the four thoughts that goes into SEO and keywords and all of those things, it's great when you build a website out with those things.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: But then what happens is those things change, or as time goes on, right?
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: Why don't you tell me a little bit of visibility IQ and how that's kind of addressing the changes that have to take place over time?
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, sure, absolutely.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the things we get back in one of the things that 97 displays been known for is our back in platforms.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: where we've taken SCO over the last 10 years, and we've looked at what works for gems, and how do we implement that across all of our platforms?
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: So we're not somebody that is just, and I don't mean this wrong way.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: We're not a local agency that usually they've got to do very well in a lot of things, but we are looking at, we have over 800,000 clients in any one time.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: And so we're looking at what is working nationwide or in North America because we're North America, US and Canada.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so what we were looking for is how do we play in the new game because one of the talking points is how do we rank organically in the AI world?
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: And the reality is a ranking organically is what it's all about because most searches are organic how they start and then paid advertising as a thing to take over.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: So our new tool, visibility IQ, is what we use to help write the copy and design the website from the very very beginning.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: But then, and we also take our knowledge of 10 plus years of working with gems, and then also what is ranking relevant to today.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: What's relevant in today's world with AI changing things as it has over the last
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: But early six months, it has drastically changed.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it started a year and a half, two years ago, but the last six months, all the tools that everybody's seen out there, have really been a blessing to a lot of people, but also if you don't understand them, they can also, we talked about hallucination and things like that earlier.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't know what you're doing, AI is very powerful.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: So what our tool does, we design your website from the very beginning using the platform, our visibility IQ, looking at two things.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: How do we rank SEO wise?
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the comments that I made earlier before the show was, if Google doesn't trust you, AI, LMMs are not going to learn large learning platforms, they're not going to, AI is not going to trust you either.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: So what our tool is designed to help you create credibility and credibility, we can go into what does that mean, but there's a lot of things when it comes to credibility.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: In a lot of our other tools, as we get into them, we'll tie together working with this ability, IQ, to help you create that credibility.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: So this tool, we use it to develop, and then it rides on your platform 24-7 on our top two growth IQ platforms.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: It stays on there in monitors.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Your AI performance looking at all the different, the five top AI platforms, raw, cloud, chatGPT, looks at those.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: How are you ranking?
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: How is your competitor's ranking?
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: What are they beating you at?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then helping right copy, and we can either do two ways.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: We can automate it, we're automatically right to it, or we have it where it tells us, hey, this is what we think you should do.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: So we have a tendency for the first few weeks of it being on your platform, we monitor it, make sure that we've trained it properly.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then we turn it on, obviously with the gem owners approval, we turn it on and we let it ride and it's on 24-7 and it's always monitoring and always updating, looking at metadata tags, looking at copy, looking at your H1 to H5 headings, making sure that anything it can do to optimize your performance with both SEO and AI search.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's awesome.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, in an ever-changing world, to have a tool that can do this in the background without the gym owner having to lift a finger or, you know, go back to a developer, web guy, to have them update copy consistently.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: And quite frankly, I mean, you know, do gym owners know what needs to be done, right?
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: Who's doing the research to to make these updates and so forth?
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: Well, most Jim owners don't know, which is why they hire someone to do SEO, but we use, you know, with now to a.o.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: SEO combined.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: But hire people to do it.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of times, there's a pretty expensive price tag, especially if you get an SEO expert that really understands the complete, it's not just copy.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's like I was taking earlier metadata tags, age one to age five.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: how all that works together to make sure that you're ranking properly and that you're ranking locally because also it's it's a local search for gems.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a you're usually searching three to ten mile radius.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's where you want to win and that's where some of our other projects come into help.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: or alongside this tool, but you're absolutely right.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's a SEO can be a very expensive proposition to do it properly.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: And our tool, it's built into the platform.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: She'll get it as part of the growth IQ platform.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I love that.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I go and back, I mean, we've been partnered with your organization of heck, I mean, it's been years now, right?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I know just from other gym owners in the industry, everyone was always pitch with SEO optimization and right out of the gate, everyone's like, you know, this is a long game, you know, it's going to be three to nine months before you see any of the benefits.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: I imagine that a tool like visibility IQ can shorten that gap and get you somewhat
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it did can.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a new tool for us.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: I can't say it here and tell you how much it will shorten it, but we know because we're always monitoring that we're making consistent changes as it's needed, or as it's being recommended, where traditional SEO, you had to go into do the research yourself, discover, and spend time discovering who the competition was.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the benefits of AI right now is it's searching the internet and telling us
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Who it believes your competition is one of the other things we talk about is who you think your competition is versus what does a I think your competition is because it really doesn't matter what we think and it does to a point because we're advertising Great and promotions and things like that to compete against do we think our competitors but in a search engine if it thinks it's somebody else
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're losing right away if you don't know that because of the fact is it's showing who it thinks is your competitor is part of the search when a customer is searching.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair, right?
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: And we were talking before the show and you mentioned without some of these tools in place, you could actually be helping your competitors by, so yeah, when we get into some of the other tools are hyperlocal and social proof.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: And one of our hyperlocal tools is it really shows you a grid map and it shows you the keywords that you're ranking for.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: And then we've set and talked to you about what keywords, what your business does, what are the keywords we think you should have, you think you should have.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: Then we use AI to help understand if there's any new answers to that that we need to make adjustments to.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that tool then shows you, like I said, the three to 10 mile radius of where you're ranking on keywords that you feel like you want to rank for and who the competition is.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's also helps rewrite your Google Business profile.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: One of the things I mentioned earlier is Google Business profile is still very, very important.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: And local searches, it's near 40% of the search rankings and local search.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: So it's really critical to make sure that that your profile says who you are, not only that, but then does it match all your other social media profiles because what happens is credibility is one of the things AI is looking for.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're a Facebook and you're
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: or whatever other platforms, and we have 70 different local ranking searches, business searches that you can be ranking on, and a lot of those auto-populate.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: So what I mean by that is that looks at your Google Business profile from maybe three years ago and pulls data over.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: This platform allows you to manage all of those business listings.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure they say exactly the same thing, make sure that you don't just have your address, like you guys have an address here, and you could have your street address, but some people might have sweet 100 spelled STE, some might as UITE, make sure it's all the same, because AI is very smart, but it also looks at it and says, hey, this is not identical, it doesn't match.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: So on our hyperlocal search, ties in with our visibility IQ to help make sure that all the content is helping you be visible.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then when we talk about advertising for other people, so now we've gotten, you know, we've been found.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, our hyperlocal or visibility IQ helps you be found.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: But what happens then is AI is going to show three or four people.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to just show you.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then you ask about, are we advertising or are we for our competitor?
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: Well, or organically, even of showing for our competitor.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if you're not doing another piece of that, which is getting reviews and getting them on a frequent basis, and then not engaging with those reviews, you are helping your competitor.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: Because if your competitor, how many of us shop on Amazon, if one of the first things that most people do is what a customer is saying about this product?
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: And then it shows you, you may also like other products and you have a tendency to look okay, that one has a 4.8 stars, this one only has 4.6 Y.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: And, or has one negative review and that one negative review, you don't have enough positive reviews to outweigh one negative review and somebody makes a decision based off of that singular negative review.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: So our other tool called Social Proof and Hyperlocal Work Together to help you get reviews.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: So, goes out and through AI, we can ask for reviews, we can monitor reviews, we can then write AI responses to reviews, or prompt the business owner to write their own response.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we wouldn't write an AI response to review, it's less than a 4.5, because we want the business owner to get involved with, okay, why didn't I get a higher score, okay?
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: But, if you're not getting reviews across all your platforms, you very well could be advertising for a competitor because of the fact is somebody sees a positive review on this gem or six positive reviews and only sees one or two and all by the way those one or two were 30, 45, 60 days ago not something that happened in the last week or two or the last few days and AI also looks at engagement.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: Google does, too, but AI can look at it so much faster and can look at it across multiple platforms.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't just look at your Google business, or profile, it looks at all your social networks.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's really eye-opening, because I know Jim owners were constantly hunting or searching and trying to get those reviews for your Google profile.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: But the response side of it is really interesting.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know that AI was...
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: using the responses and weighing that to such a tune, but that's good information.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: I love the fact that everything that you're you're listening here has the ability to have the owner engaged and still active in doing some of these things.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: But in lieu of them actually taking that action, there is an AI component that they can carry some of that weight, some that burdened for the Gemowner.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I see it as both an increase in the effectiveness of the website itself and your chances to then take those leads and convert them to a client, but it also is a time saver for a lot of Gemowners.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: In revenue, like we talked about, updates on SEO and having to go back to a developer,
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: knowledge of what those updates should be, you know, this is kind of handling a lot of that all-in-one platform.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: It is and one of the other things I've failed to mention earlier is is that Jim owners, a lot of Jim owners are extremely busy and they might have somebody ahead of the gem or business partner that does some of their marketing pieces for them.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: So this system sends out a weekly executive report
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: to the Jim owner so that they don't even have to go in to the system to see what's going on.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: They get a weekly report telling them how they're ranking, what's improved, where the performance is improved or possibly declined based off a bad review or something.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: So they automatically get that and then if they are partnering with somebody in the at their company or jam or organization, they can then have a weekly one-on-one with them
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Or they can work with us, they're account management team at 97 to say, how do we improve this?
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: Another thing I think we didn't talk about so far, which is also a great tool for Jim owners is what we call a single sign on dashboard.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: So all these tools that we talked about, and we've talked about such a proof briefly, but you can go into this platform and this tool, and you can write post using AI, and you can generate images using AI or take your own images and have some AI enhancements to them, and post to all platforms in one place.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: So also, like a lot of people have other social media tools that they use to do that.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: but they're going over here for social media, they're going over here to see what's going on on Google.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: They have some other SEO tool or whatever they're using.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: This puts it all into one singular sign on platform and then gives it executive reporting and then, by the way, if you're all again, all the data is there alive and you can do comparisons.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: It brings all your Google data into that, so then more going to GA4, look or studio.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's all in this platform, all in one place
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's massive.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I know we talk all the time with Jim owners.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: The software stacks get convoluted.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: They're in million different places.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to have one home to have everything reported.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: To me, that's invaluable.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: It gives control back to the Jim owner, the visibility and everything that's happening.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's a powerful component.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: It puts you back in charge, as opposed to, kind of, grassmen, straws, or piece-milling things together.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: Um, now we were talking about the goal is being acquiring a customer, right?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: So tell me a little bit about the tools that that take place.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: I believe you call it lead flow.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, so it starts out from the visibility standpoint with visibility IQ and hyperlocal.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the front end tools.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously the website itself, but then these tools writing on the website help you understand help us and you understand how we can get you to rank locally and be found through the visibility side of it.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: So from there, once the customer or lead hits the website, we then have products that take over.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: We have AI chat that is on 24-7, and one thing we talked about AI is AI, if you don't have the right tools and you don't have the right knowledge in creative the right knowledge base for AI to use,
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: AI can, and some people call it hallucinate, but it's so smart that like we were talking earlier, it'll go back and find old URLs from old web pages, and if you're not telling it don't do that, it's going to do it because it's looking at the entire basically digital universe saying, hey, what's out there about this organization?
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: So we also stop it from doing that.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: So our chat take can take over from there.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: Chats with the client to go, goal is to get that lead to, or whatever the gem owners is it to get the leaf out of the lead form, is it to get it to book a appointment on their calendar.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: So there's multiple things that the chat can do.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: It can do it all though.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: Both of that are both of those things and more.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then, once whatever that action is, the lead flow IQ system then takes over and starts texting back to the lead, thanking them, and then also emails the lead, and thanks them.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: At this point in time, it does not call them, but it texts and SMS messages and emails them.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things we'd like to work on with Jim owners is that first touch.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: One of the things we do know is the gem that responds to the fastness, you know, is the gem that wins or the business that wins.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes somebody might be looking at Plotty's versus Jim or whatever.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: And they're looking at multiple different things whoever responds to quickest wins.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: So this tool takes over and helps you respond even at 11 30 PM at night.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's responding for you.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: benefits of AI right you don't have to have that employee 24 seven and then if for some reason the lead would call the gym while you're either not open or that you've just brought in any prospect and they're you're walking that lead or potential customer around and somebody can't get to the phone.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: Our AI voice agent answers the phone for you and can do all the exact same things that we just talked about.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: The chat agent does and it can also if the customer doesn't want to deal with the AI voice agent or the lead, doesn't want to deal with that.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: It can transfer so it'll allow them if you're open.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, we train it if you're not open.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: We can't transfer the call.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: We tell the person that somebody will be contacting them.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then what's unique about this whole tool is that when you open up the next morning, whoever is responsible for your lead, Jen, and your gem, opens up and there's a conversation dashboard that shows all the conversations that happen with AI the night before.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: It shows you if it's a voice you can listen to the conversation as well as read it and you can read the entire conversation and if you want to add that personal touch or that lead maybe didn't do exactly what you wanted to do you can then reach out like it traditionally would anyway.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then all the work flows and lead flow like you can be set up to nurture the lead.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Those can be, we can create all kinds of different work flows with different triggers.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things too is we tell the first thing I would do is a gem owner.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: If I own a gem is when that person got my first SMS message.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: I, a message directly from the gym owner.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you for reaching out to us.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: And today's world, there's a lot of people that are also using video messaging.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that is so, I've worked in natural health for a while and car practice.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: And car practice does do that or winning, because it, in fact, is the person, they know that's the doctor they're gonna see.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that would work in the gym world as well.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we talked about that in part of our process.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that is massive value around something like that.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where leaf flow IQ takes over, and then from that standpoint, the other product is the social proof of getting people to check in when they come to your facility, saying, hey, I'm here.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: I love this, you know, I love this gem, and using social media as an organic search engine as well, because AI does look at it.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: So those two kind of,
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: But that's also helping in such a ability.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: But where a lot of people fail is they win that client, then they don't use the current customer to advocate for their business.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where a lot of positive reviews can come in asking, and I talked to you earlier about the book, I love this book called The Go Giver by Bob Berg.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're not giving to your customers and asking your customers to give and help support your gym, you're missing out,
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: I absolutely.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, social proof is huge for gyms.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we all know it.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, everything from a before and after that helps show what you can, you know, achieve for a client.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: But even the positive reviews earlier, we were talking to touch a little bit about the importance of organic before page strategy.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: on a touch on that a little bit because I think I think this is what this is really important for Jim owners to understand most Jim owners have some form of paid uh... add strategies out there with a remetta whether it be Google and so forth but you you touch on something that with i think is really important to share and it's the importance of the organic first
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, my daughter's both played soccer if I guess some people go football, but if you're in Europe and college, so they played, so the fundamentals of any sport in a gym, the fundamentals of strength training, I can't go into a gym start lifting 300 pounds.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trying to do that, so I don't have the core in place or the fundamentals in place to be able to do that.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: And so organic is the fundamentals.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't build the fundamentals first, yeah, you can generate some leads with ad spend.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: But it's costing you a lot of money for two reasons.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: One is AI and Google both look at organic.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a lot of things out there, and we won't get into Google algorithms.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: But there's a lot of things out there that one plus one in Google doesn't equal to if you're organic because really ranking well and you are doing paid, you have a tendency to rank higher, because you're organic because they're looking at it.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: So the same thing's happening with AI.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: If you're not investing in the core of who you are from a marketing standpoint,
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: you're spending money that you may not need to spend on paid advertising because you want to win organically first you want to be in that top one to three organic positions in AI as well as in Google SEO.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're these tools help you do that, but it requires discipline.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: Just like exercise requires discipline, it requires discipline to get in, and manage in the tool.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of times it's easier to spend money than it is to be
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so, that's where we find out, like winning organically is all about putting the processes in place, putting the tools in place, and sometimes if you're too busy as a Gemowner, finding that right person on your team to do that.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: And if it's not 97 displays as an organization to help you find somebody.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: For when we talked about the day, there's a lot of things you can do, and we have a new book, ebook that will be what'll be in the link.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: Trevor, we're doing a link in the show, no church notes.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: And if you take this book, it's winning in the modern digital world, winning marketing in the modern digital world.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: And we have, in that book, we have work sheets to tell you what to do.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and our system does a lot of this, but if you don't want to use our system, we use to do it yourself, find somebody to build your organic platform first, because it'll save you a lot of money in a long term, and on top of it, it's...
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: where I've seen earlier, 1 plus 1 does an equal to.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing, if you're winning organically, that means that when you turn on the paid advertising, that you've got all the CTAs, you know, there's right calls to action, the right copy on your page that's going to help close those paid leads quicker, just like it's doing with organically.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: So you really have to spend the money, and I was at a event I won't say where, but I was at a event with some martial arts people, and we had this platform on one of their masters, and he talked about the fact that after having it on for several months, they really didn't have to do any paid advertising anymore, because they were getting enough organic leads for their business to be successful without paid advertising.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so it was worth the ROI to him to spend the money for the platform, and we talked earlier.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: The calls for the platform, which will be in the show notes as well, is not very, when you look at it, overall grand scheme of things.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: For my website, to all the tools that are on the back end, and that single sign on platform, it's not an expensive proposition.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: Most people spend more money and paid advertising a month than what we're talking about for run this platform.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah and that's huge.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you nailed it when you said, you know, you're spending money that you don't necessarily have to spend if your organic isn't in place.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: I see a massive time saving for gym owners, massive costs saving for gym owners in a, you know, in a world where meta ads or excuse me, meta leads are getting more difficult.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: We preach all the time that the quality of the leads that come for through our website are exponentially more valuable.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: We know the difference between intent-based searches.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: If somebody comes to a website looking for service versus us, kind of almost slapping them in the face with a Facebook ad, they might not be actively searching for a new fitness facility or fitness program.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: But to be able to kind of pour fuel on that fire,
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: rather than just throwing good money at the wall and hoping something comes from it, there's massive value around all of this.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: So we touched on a couple of those different features between visible IQ, hyperlocal, the social proof.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, these are different features.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're part of, is it called growth IQ?
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: We have two growth IQ packages.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: And you guys are kind enough to put together a special promotion for our listeners.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: So again, there's a link in the show notes.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: If you do want to take gray up on the growth IQ and website and have all of these tools working for you, check those show notes, they put together a real nice special package for you guys and with a pretty hefty discount.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely check that out.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Is there anything else that you feel our listeners should really understand about this process, whether it be the website itself, the tools that are working in the background, but anything else that you feel you want to share?
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I would just say this.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: Websites have changed over the last two years.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: And if you website to not something that's set and forget, I mean, it's just not.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why the AI tools that we've created are monitoring and managing content on a consistent basis.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, if you haven't taken the time to reevaluate where your website is at, this would be the time to do it.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now's the time to do it because, and finding the right tools.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: We offer those tools.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: We'd love to work with all of your gym, any of your gym owners, all your gym owners.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: But if you don't, haven't,
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't work with us, do it with somebody.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: Take the time to look at where you're at, of self evaluation.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of us do that at the beginning of every year.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: We're still early on in the year.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's February.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: So do that because it's very important to set back and do a self evaluation.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: Where's my, where's, you know, how's my gym website?
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: Where am I ranking?
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we offer a free report.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: So what I would tell you is the book is free, it's a free download.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a free online report that we will run for you, that tells you where you're ranking, shows you your opportunities.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: And whether you, you know, help, whether you allow us to help you fix it,
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Whether you're you're already ranking off the charts when we just say congratulations, we're there to help you with that and so reach out to us for that.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's all free.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: Our goal is to give you the tools to understand where you're at and then help you make a decision whether and we'd love that decision to be with us, but if it's not.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: Make a decision on how you're going to improve your performance in 2026 and beyond, but also remember that every so often, if you don't have tools like this on your website, you absolutely need to be doing it in a valuation of where you're at because AI is changing things on a very, very rapid basis.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's extremely fair and I appreciate that.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for joining us.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: As Ray said, there's going to be a couple of links in the show notes, check those out, check out the free resources.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to get started with 97, these are the ones that we trust with our websites.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: These are the organization we've referred all of our coaching clients to and anyone in our ecosystem for years now.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: We're just, it's almost like the tip of the iceberg.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: My recommendation is not going and doing it yourself, but you've got enough things to work around in the gym, so if, you know, for the cost, I mean, you know, when we get into the cost of what it takes to get started, you know, it's a one or two clients for your entire year, you know, if you can sign one or two clients, this system's going to pay for itself.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: In my opinion, you know, there's no better spent ROI than being able to outsource something that quite frankly, you know, you listening probably shaking your head like, I don't have the time to do all that
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, utilizing their tools, check the link in the show notes for that special promotion, dive in, get the value out of the website that you actually deserve, get those leads across the finish line, sign up new customers, and let's win big for 2026.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, Ray, appreciate it.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for being here.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: Randy, thank you and Tim, thank you for inviting me.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's great to be here and look forward to many years to come working with you guys.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they're guaranteed.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate the time.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's everything we have for this episode.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: Keep changing lives.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: See you in the next episode.
