Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Fat February.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I heard this yesterday.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Apparently, February is the month that everybody, we all need to celebrate our fatness.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: And when I was 365 pounds, it wasn't a celebration.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: I could barely bend over and tie my shoes.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: I was sweating profusely all the time.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: And I really felt like I had sand in my eyelids and in my joints, and it was just hard to move.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Not to mention every meal was a feast.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: I was eating all day long with very little time to do a lot of other things.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: So with that, I don't know if I'm going to be celebrating fat February.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: In fact, I would say that if you're thinking about acceptance, you might want to pull back and look at your health, see where you are flat.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Fat definitely causes inflammation.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: And there are a lot of other things that fat causes in the body that create problems, that creates high blood pressure because with that fat, especially if you have the visceral fat that's inside around your organs, they're really being choked out.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: So it's not a healthy thing to be celebrated.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: In fact, there's also arterial fat, there's all sorts of things that fat carries with it.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Now, yes, there is a certain amount that a person can carry without having the negative consequences of it.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: But if you're sitting there in your rolls like I was, and a 65-inch waist like I was, that's a problem.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: So I'm glad I fixed it.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: If you're going to celebrate Fat February, good for you.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: But I would say that if you've tried many times to actually trim down, to try to drop that fat, and you failed, maybe you need a different approach.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: What worked for me was stopping eating for a longer period of time and repeating that over and over and over until I got to where I wanted to be.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I still fast.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: And you need to talk to your doctor, get your medical professionals' advice.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Currently, I'm on day three of a dry fast.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: I haven't had any liquid.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: I've tried to maintain very little contact with water, and that's where I'm at currently.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Of course, no food with that as well.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: And the feeling is rather euphoric, not that I'm hallucinating because I'm not, but it really does a good job of really putting everything into perspective.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: And if you're able to do that, then you realize that you have no addictions at all and you've been purged from them.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: So whether it's water fasting, dry fasting, make sure you talk to your doctor, get your medical professionals' advice.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: The second one, dry fasting, definitely not for not for anybody out there.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: You got to be very careful with it because you're not taking in water.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: And although your body does eviscerate the fat cells to be able to pull out the hydrogen, combine it with oxygen, and make the metabolic water, still you have to be careful.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor with honor.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one.
