  forensic stuff, the, So the answer is probably yes.

  Now, would you get the same media attention?

  Probably not. But for me, it's mostly about

  that we have a member of a segment of our population that

  is the most vulnerable, right? I, I, I think that we all feel a

  little more, I guess, touched or influenced or outraged when a

  member of our society, a member of our individual communities

  who is in a segment that is a little more vulnerable when it
• 3:09
  happens to them. And so, you know, when we talk

  about children, we get outraged. When we talk about the elderly,
• 3:15
  we get outraged. And it gets really easy to look
• 3:17
  at a photo of Miss Guthrie here and say, that could be my mom or
• 3:22
  that could be my grandma, right? And, and so, yeah, there is a

  little bit of celebrity attached to this for sure.

  But I honestly think that that's just works well in the, in the

  favor of this case, works favorably in this case because

  Savannah Guthrie is so well known and they know how to use

  the media and the media kind of stands behind their own.

  And in this case, I, I would say good on them for it.

  the mother of the Today anchor Savannah Guthrie, who has been

  missing since Sunday and whose disappearance is being

  investigated as a crime. Miss Guthrie was last seen at

  her home near Tucson on Saturday night around 9:30 PM, according

  to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos.

  In an interview with CNN on Monday, he said he thought that

  Miss Guthrie had been kidnapped based on the scene at her home.

  That is just so scary, so scary. Miss Guthrie was last seen.

  I just read that. Here's what we know.

  What happened. The authorities responded to a

  911 call reporting Miss Guthrie missing at noon on Sunday.

  Sheriff Nano said they began to a search for her, employing a

  search and rescue team, volunteers, dogs, drones and a

  helicopter. Sheriff Nanos described Miss

  Guthrie's home as quote, a crime scene. close quote on Monday,

  adding that quote. We saw some things at the home

  that were concerning to us. close quote without offering

  more details. He added that Miss Guthrie has

  limited mobility and requires medication every 24 hours and

  could die without it. I wonder if they looked in the

  house to see if the medication was left behind.

  I would imagine that that they would.

  I mean, I've, I've only ever been on like a it wasn't even a

  crime scene. It was a death scene, a death

  investigation scene. And I've only done that one time

  in my life. And the one of the first things

  that death investigator did was look at the medications anyway.

  Kevin Adger, a public information officer with the

  Sheriff's Office, said on Monday that investigators believe she

  was taken from her home against her will, possibly in the middle

  of the night. Excuse me, I got to do more

  breathing exercises. Now detectives are looking into

  a possible kidnapping or abduction.

  Miss Guthrie was described in a missing persons notice as 5 feet

  5 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

  And vulnerable, of course. She's 84 years old.

  This kind of stuff, crimes against the elderly, pardon my

  language here for a second, just really pissed me off, man.

  They are the most vulnerable part of our society.

  And I mean, I know children are vulnerable too, but I just feel

  like many adults, even those that are beloved, are just way
• 9:49
  more vulnerable because because they have been independent their

  whole lives. And I see in my day job as a, as

  a reporter on the crime beat, I see people taking advantage of

  the elderly all the time through scams and stuff like that.

  So this just this just gets under my skin, man.
