- 0:00SPEAKER_00: If you've ever lost someone you love, you know the hardest part isn't the ceremony.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: It's when you still reach for the phone to call them.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Parents carry a uniquely heavy version of that weight.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: Today we're joined by Beth Lynch, a median and mediation teacher who has spent 28 years helping families receive messages from the ones they miss and teaching grieving parents that their children live on.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: This is a conversation about grief, yes, but it's really a conversation about how you keep loving people who aren't in the room anymore.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Before the mediumship, what was the moment of grief or loss that touched your life that set you on this path?
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: My mother was killed in the Amtrak crash in 1993, and I was I dreamt that night she died.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: And I woke up in the morning to hear it on the news.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: And then I went to a medium a year later and was told I was gonna do it.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: And I thought she was crazy.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Here I sit.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, I was dreaming, heard it like over an intercom.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Well, every session in the last 30 years I've done full time this work.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: I've helped honored my mom and my dad died three years before her.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Been a long time.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm glad to hear that you're using their their memory to, you know, you know, like it definitely wakes you up.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Something that grief does is awaken you to your true nature, I think, and what you're supposed to do.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Whatever it is.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: So you wrote life, death, and be in between, and you've said to understand life, we must understand death.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: So for a parent who's grieving and doesn't know what to believe, what does understanding the in-between actually look like in practical terms?
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: So basically it would look like this.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: When we look at death, we have this even traditional or subconscious feeling that it's endings and never seeing them again.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: But when we bring in the understanding of our true spirit, the eternal essence of our own spirit, then we can start to bring that into the grief process of understanding we will see them again.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: We can be more open to their presence, their sense, their signs, and everything that will happen always.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: That's that's great.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: That's powerful.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: And and so, you know, I've kind of dealt with this.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: It wasn't a person, but I've dealt with this recently with my kids.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: My five-year-old really took it hard when we lost we just lost our dog this year.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: What's your recommendation for parents that uh are having kids grieving, you know, pets or they're grieving maybe uh, you know, maybe not a person, but but something else, or is is it the same?
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Is it as is the same as a person, or is it completely different?
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And okay.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: It you know, I don't want to say take away from it being a person, but pets, we love them, we have an energy connection with them, a spiritual bond with them, and an emotional bond, the same thing really.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: And so grief will come maybe in different titles, but the emotions can be just as deep.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: And especially for a child with a pet that maybe has not lost a family member yet or a grandparent or whatever, that is going to be their first experience with grief.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I the greatest gift you give them is the simplicity of they can be your guardian angel now.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: We really, you know, we really don't die, just our, you know, depending on the age of the child, of course.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: And just reaffirming the eternal understanding of who we are, because it is the beginning of and how we grieve, you know.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Like I said, just coming off that conference where there were, you know, siblings there who've lost their siblings and the parents who've lost, you know, one of their children, some two of their children.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: And many times in the channelings, the pets are there with them.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: They show us, you know, a medium, this the pet.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: So the spirit of the animals is very powerful.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: And, you know, as adults, we might be able to rationalize that a little more than a child, but it will be the one of the beginnings of their journey of grief.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: And just showing them the strength that they have inside is, I think, the greatest gift we give them.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for sure.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: And sorry, I'm kind of welling up because like every time I think about it too, I get, you know, I get emotional too.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: Cause it's like I haven't, I haven't dealt with grief a lot.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Um, I've been very lucky.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: I still have my immediate family around me.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: And I know that's not that's not typical.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: So I'm I'm very appreciative of that.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: But it was, you know, I think it's also like it's it's the emotion of of being a parent now and dealing with that grief, but also dealing with the grief of my five-year-old and trying to rationalize it for her.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: And she's on the spectrum.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: So she her understanding of things is a little bit different than maybe the typical kid would would be.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Very deep.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: They're very deep.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And so she's always constantly like asking me when he's coming back and like all these questions and stuff, and it's very hard to like drill it down to her that he, you know, he's not, and we got a new dog, and you know, not that he's gonna replace him, but it's like it's one of these things.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: But it's like every time she brings it up, it's just like I start to well up, or I brought that picture, and I'm just like, oh my God.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Cause it's like for me, like time had like, you know, for me, it was more of like it was a goodbye to my late 20s and my early 30s.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Like it was almost like this period of time that's just gone.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: And it it's kind of a symbolism of that rather than just the loss of a pet.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: And it was more just like, okay, now this is like I lost my youth.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: I lost my, you know, I'm I'm a I'm a man now in my 40s.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: And it's like, it's like this weird sort of chapter that closed, and this new chapter that opened that I'm not really loving.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: But yeah, it's just it's very complicated for me.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: So I just I had to bring that up.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: I know, and again, I'm not for those listening to the city.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: I'm glad you did.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: I think it's okay.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: No, it's very much a part of, you know, there's so many different forms of grief, and the utmost, hardest is going to be children, spouses, parents, pets, and pets fall in there and a lot of in-between.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: But I'll point something out in in the experience of spirit world for over 30 years on purpose and 30 something, I didn't know what was happening.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: But one thing they'll they'll say to me, and it is a little bit of a spiritual humor, but you know, respectfully, is don't say we're lost.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: You didn't lose wait, you didn't lose us.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: We're not lost, you know where we are.
- 6:03unknown: Yeah.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: And they're they're referring heaven.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: And I think the first time I heard that from a spirit to their loved one and living coming to me, I was like, that's true.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: And but we don't realize how some, you know, you understand the law of attraction, I'm sure.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: That subconscious wording is constantly moving emotions into I lost you, I lost you.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: And so we do have to bring an awareness, not say don't say it, or oh no, I shouldn't say it, but just be aware, take a breath and say, Oh no, I know where you are.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: You know, remind yourself sometimes.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: And that's good for the children too.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: You know, you didn't lose them.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: And put, I feel your child needs reminders of that, Pat.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: That's maybe a more of an intuitive.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: Maybe you already have, you know, the paw print or the pictures, and I feel that that really would help.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So you're probably already doing it, but yeah, we reinforce it, but it it's just it's so random.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: It'll be like, you know, this random thought she'll just come up with, and it's like, because you know, I I'm I'm obviously still a little, you know, as you can see, shaken up about it.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: But I'm like, I heal and I feel like I'm over it, you know what I mean?
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Like I'm, you know, moving on and I got other stuff to worry about.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: But then she'll bring it up, and then it's almost like this wound opens up for me because then I have to not only deal with my own emotions, but then also try and my wife and all that.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: And it's just it's it's just this weird dynamic of, you know, now that I'm grieving, it seems like you know, we're all grieving as a family, but it's I feel more for her because again, it was like her they grew, you know, like she grew up with him, and that was her brother, so to speak, before she had a brother, and now I have two kids.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: But yeah, it's just it's this weird dynamic.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: So can you talk?
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: You just mentioned you were at a conference, and can you talk more about the work that you that you do with parents and especially particularly for you know, probably parents losing their kids or um things like that.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: That's gotta be really, really difficult to to move on.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: I can't even fathom, to be honest with you, as being a parent of young kids, how they do that, how they uh they garner the strength to do that.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: I I no idea.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: So can you talk a little bit about your work with that and and how you help them and and how you actually like in I might be a misphrasing or miscategorizing, but how you kind of summon the I like that.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Summon.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: That's cute.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: So but I I get the word.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: I mean it's definitely, you know, used.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: And uh you know, when you're working with families that lose kids, first of all, when you the communication is so sacred, and I I'll just kind of start and work the other way.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: You know, I always do a prayer or a blessing to bless the session.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: And during I start getting a lot of visions and feelings and names and I can get sense, I get everything.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: And those are I know now, and I've known for a very long time, otherwise I wouldn't continue to do the work.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: I don't think I could, is that these are these visions are coming from their emotions that are forming these pictures.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: So when you're giving that kind of, you know, guidance to somebody, I had somebody like during the conference and the sun and spirit kept saying waffles and waffles, and they were kind of going, Well, we don't eat those.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: And she goes, I don't cook.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: And they had this whole little thing, and I go, No, he's saying waffles and chicken.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: He's adding chicken.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: And they said, I go, I don't know.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: Do you eat?
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: I don't know what to tell you.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: But no, and the what ended up happening when they kept saying no, which is fine.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: I they didn't relate to it.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: They kept saying, No, we don't know what that would mean.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: I go, he said to tell his brother.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: I go, Does he have a brother?
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: I guess he does.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: And I go, I didn't know.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: And they go, Yeah, he has a brother.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Well, they ended up, you know, and other things came in and they were fine.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: They they recognized him, but that was one thing they definitely didn't recognize.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: And I ran in the at the conference, I ran into them in the hallway and they were screaming, and they go, We called his brother, and he had chicken and waffles the other day on vacation.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: And and and he just couldn't believe it that his brother was there.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: And he, of course, he thought about his brother when he was away.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: But you know, he said, then they said, you know, he believes now.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: In that simple thing, waffles and chicken.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: They see you eating, they see the things that you're doing, and that's the in-between between our life and our passing, our death, is the in-between moments that we're gonna have no matter what side we're on.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: And I think the the understanding of that, and when they make you laugh like that, you know, there is laughter, and there's nothing funny about why we're channeling for anybody, whether it's for children or for anybody.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: But, you know, when they can bring in their personality that has a sense of humor, then you feel them.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: And that's what supports the people.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: You know, I lived it too.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: I sat with a medium, devastated that both my parents were gone, devastated that I dreamt the night my mom died, she died.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: I heard it like an intercom, woke up to see the time, and that was the time the accident was.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, everything unfolded.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I had grief that I didn't understand for so long.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: And one visit with a medium, I was a hairdresser at the time.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: I didn't know the lingo or get it.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: You know, I was busy being a hairdresser for 20 years, but when she told me I would do the work and help others, I just, you know, couldn't comprehend that in the moment.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: But within a week was starting to open doors to understand it more, which flew open the roof and everything else.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: Do you see yourself or do you find yourself doing that, or do you use it more for for helping other people?
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Or how do you wield that power?
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: It's it's definitely a a humble understanding of the natural communication that we have.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: So I step away from the word power a little humbly because it is a, as I tell people, it's a superpower we all have an ability to communicate.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: When you think about it, you talk to yourself all the time.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Who are you talking to?
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: Your higher self and your personality or having these conversations.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: That's the way I look at inner dialogue.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: And so for myself, you know, because I was on a search to try to understand it for so long, I started having little moments in my own meditation time where I would see them.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: And, you know, it wasn't long ago.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: I went through an experience where I was looking at my hands and going, Oh my goodness, mom, my hands look like your hands.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm kind of in that age now, I guess.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: My mom didn't even reach my age.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: And so I had a moment, I got really emotional.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: I think I wept a little.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: I had my human moment, as I call it, but I just couldn't get over my hands.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: And I said, I haven't touched your skin in so long.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: I go, I just haven't kissed your cheek in so many 30 years.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: And I went, wow, that's so weird.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: And had the moment and I let it go, you know.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: And then the next morning I was waking up in the twilight, and the twilight's a very powerful time for your own loved ones to come to you or for guidance to come to you for yourself.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: And I was kind of in that twilight, I was definitely more asleep.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: And I was dreaming that I was on my front porch when I was a child, like when I was like 12 or 13, and my little sister was sitting on the porch next to me.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: I could even see her short set.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: That was something she really had.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: And I was we were sitting there in the dream, and I looked, put my hand on her knee, and I went, Oh, your skin's so soft, just like a sister saying to a little baby sister.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: And as I did that, I looked at her and it my mother morphed and she went, My skin.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: And when I woke up, I mean, I was literally going like this, like I was in the dream kind of doing it.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: And I went, You let me feel your skin.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: And it was crazy.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: And so I tell people just, I mean, I didn't try to do that in my own power.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: It was more of a trust of, or it was more of an inner conversation with an emotionally with her that I think in one level I know they hear, but I know they have things they do up there, and maybe they're not tuned in right then, you know.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: But I tell people to trust that ability, put it out there before you go to sleep.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Say thank you.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: I know you're with me in my dreams.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: It's basically what I did.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: I didn't say I missed you, I want your skin, I want to touch your skin.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: I just had a conversation about a realization, you know, and it allowed it.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: And I'm no different than anyone else when it comes to the grief part, you know.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: I just trust it and understand it, and that's what I try to give people.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: I think I do give people.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and can you walk us through like what maybe like the most common question or fear parents bring to you about their their loved one, perhaps that that's not maybe typically about death or because I know if like personally for me, uh, you know, and again, I I don't have the experience of a close and immediate person dying.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: But again, going back to my my pet that I showed you, like for me it was like it was really tough when I'm like, I, you know, for 14 years I was his protector, I was the one that was there for him.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: And so like now that he's gone, I'm always like, I just want to go join him, like I just want to go be with him because I know he's okay, kind of thing.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Like that's where my mind went, which is it sounds crazy, but but it's like that that I that recurring thought was what I had the most.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: So is there something that like parents that are actually grieving, you know, a child or they're grieving, you know, like in your case, your your their parents, that they they just have this kind of like fear or or worry about their loved one.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: And it's a very common emotion, you know, and there are families that have lost, you know, one child but have one or two more home, and and they'll confide that they just want to be there and they don't want.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: And it takes everything they have to focus on who's still with them and who's also grieving.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: So it's very natural, I want to share that with you, even with a pet, to feel that, you know.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: And so don't feel guilty, but just rearrange the thoughts.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: No, I know you're with me.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: No, I know you're you are with me, your spirit is with me.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: I will see you again.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: And you will see the animals in the spirit world again.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: They're front and center with your people, you know, and and that's giving, you know, reminding yourself maybe of, you know, that you will see them again, that the spirit is eternal, their spirit is eternal, and the signs will be there and that it's important to be where you are for those who do love you.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I'm so sorry.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm having a like an emotional moment.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: This is a emotional episode for me.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, usually I I don't cry usually on these episodes.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: But you know, emotion is a release, and and when you're with, you know, I know I've worked with many people and men and you know, sons who don't even cry in front of their mother, but we get into a session and there they are releasing, you know, a year of grief or whatever.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: And it's natural to cry.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: It's when the nervous system is saying, okay, I'm overloaded.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: And I always say, allow it and just breathe.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: Slow your you can always slow your breathing.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: That can help.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: Um, because it starts regulating the nervous system again.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: And, you know, death grief can cause anxiety, um, you know, because anxiety is when the energy field is out of balance and it's trying to go up in frequency to balance again.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: And the frequency, the higher the frequency, the more in the spiritual energy you are of yourself, which supports you in grief because your spirit is eternal and it knows you're gonna see everyone again.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: And that's one of the things we feel death is so finalizing and we're never gonna see them again.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Not in the same way that we would, you know, like sitting down at the kitchen table or something, but their spirit could be there.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: Their their signs will be there and they will be there.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: They always are.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: I think that's the hardest thing for me, too, is when my daughter asks, you know, when he's coming back.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I don't I don't know how to like direct that or how to answer that because I'm like How old is she?
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: You won't.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: She's she just turned five.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, bless her heart.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love that age.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: So she's struggling.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: You know, just tell her, you know, I would consider, I definitely encourage saying, you know, it's a he, the dog, the is a guardian angel.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: And, you know, he just, you know, maybe even get on the internet and look for a pet, an animal that looks similar with wings, and start stimulating her little imagination to get a visual for herself.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: That can be very helpful.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, that's that's that's that's good.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: That's a good idea.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: Angel wings work.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, no, I'll do that.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: When you've done a reading, is there is there anything stuck out to you um that you can kind of recall that's just like you couldn't you you know you couldn't believe what you were reading?
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: Or is that too general?
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: No, no, it's it's a funny story.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Well, but it has to do with a famous person.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I've had three famous people, but the one I'm thinking of, I was channeling for a woman and she was connected to helping parents heal, actually.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: And and that's not all I do.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: I worked privately, you know, many years before them, but and the I remember her son came in and he was talking and it was very clear it was him.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: And then at one point he was at a piano and I said, and he's got a friend Amy behind him.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: Amy, this girl, and she's behind him on the piano.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: I see the hug, they're hugging.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: She's hugging him behind the piano, and he's saying, Yeah, mom or something.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: And she goes, Amy?
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: And I go, Yeah, and she goes, she holds up a picture, and it was Amy Winehouse hugging her son in front of a piano.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: And what had happened was, and she used to call her mom, Jodi, I'm talking about you.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: She since then Jody has passed.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: So she's up there in heaven with her son, and I'm sure, you know, this is a tough one.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: But it what it was was they were away and some, I don't know, what some say Tom, somewhere in the islands, and they were walking on the beach, and they ran into Amy Whitehouse on the beach, and her and the son became very close.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: So close that, you know, she'd play the piano for the grandfather, and they were very good friends.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: And Jody knew the Amy's dad, I guess.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Amy Jody told me all this after, but it was so cute.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, because I'm like, I'm a fan, I'm a little flustered here, and it was so cute, you know, and she said a couple things to Jody and and it was just so beautiful.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: But she goes, Yeah, my son and Amy were very close.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: It was just like that simple.
- 20:00SPEAKER_01: So when you, you know, they're just like us, you know, in the spirit world.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: They're um, I've seen that in other things with, you know, music music and stuff.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: You can just I remember a young man telling me, you know, he had unalived himself.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: I gotta be careful what wording you use when you're on these on anything anymore.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: But and I said he was, he said to tell my mom, and he was walking down this, showed me walking down a dirt road and a gentleman playing the guitar.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: And when I saw the person look up, and his her son was saying, Tell my mom I've met him, it was Kurt Cobain.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: And like I don't go around saying, I've channeled Kurt Cobain, I've channeled Amy Winehouse.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: I don't do that.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: But these are very true stories.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: And she says that was my son's idol.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: He played guitar, he really loved that music.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: And so she had her own little thing, and she goes, I'm so glad he's still enjoying music.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: And he said, You know, mom, they're nice.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: They they they let you just hang out.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: It was just so cute.
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: So, you know, everybody's everybody's, you know, heaven's a big place.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of little avenues around, and people are meeting who they need to meet and greeting, you know, who who they need to greet.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: It's a beautiful thing, actually.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I was gonna say that's really assuring to to you know to to to know your loved one is up there enjoying themselves, having a good time, interacting with their and they enjoy because you know, they feel they're with us.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: Like I've done readings for 30 years full time, they never say they miss you.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: And somebody asked me, they don't they miss us?
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: And I said, they don't feel that.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: We miss their physical presence, they don't feel they miss us, so they can't lie and say they miss us.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm not saying somebody else hasn't had an experience where somebody from Spirit said I miss you, but I have never had that.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: And that's because they don't feel that emotion because they feel they are with us, because they are watching over us so closely.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: So they can only project what they emotionally are relating to, and that's why they've made me understand.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: that so it's pretty uh interesting you know when you look at the bigger picture wow that's that is interesting to to think because like it it's almost like we you know from from my standpoint it's like we endure the burden we endure the pain of them their loss and you know they go on especially in a in a in an instance like suicide or uh you know loss of a parent at a young age you know whatever it's like it's like the grief definitely sticks to us and it's like you gotta you gotta kind of endure that your life right they're not feeling that right they're not feeling the no they don't they they don't feel grief like we do because they feel they're in pure spirit form and they feel they're still with us and when we connect to our own spirit it helps us feel that vibr through the vibration we can feel more connected and that's why people say what can I do I have a email on my website if you put in your email address you get like seven free meditations and one of them is called the bench which is I created it for people to go and sit on the bench through a meditative state and visit them and call them to the bench or see who's on the bench when you get there or whatever, you know?
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: And I think that's important that they learn to believe that they can feel their spirit directly and that they communicate directly.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: That's very important to me.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah can you like break down just like what does a reading look like like you know in terms of timeline or what exactly I I can't help but like you know I know there's skepticism out there and I know like from from my youth you know I I still see the Miss Cleo commercials of like you know Miss Cleo I watched the documentary of that and you know I knew she was Cleo I forgot about her.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah like things like that and it's like how do you you know how do you deal with the skepticism people might have of you know a medium uh you know doing readings and all that and and sort of push that aside and then just kind of like because it has to be so like because I know that you know when you when you talk about something that that you mentioned earlier you know about I think you said the hands right dealing with the or maybe maybe I'm misremembering this but dealing with something that they were doing or eating or something like that.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: And you bring that up and it's like okay no one else would know that right and when you when you can kind of like conjure up that conversation whatever and it you you see like that person that skeptic become a believer right that has to be pretty powerful for you right to do very powerful line of business.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah and I I have seen you know I whether I'm doing a Zoom call with you know three two or three people in it or are they sitting in front of me you can feel and it's usually what I tell people who are you what first of all the spirit world will always call out a skeptic even if I didn't feel it they would like zero in on somebody you know Dad say my dad has my hat say my dad has you know in his pocket a coin and the beautiful thing is when you trust the spirit world so much and they call out the skeptic like that so the whole session doesn't have to be a proving thing you know then it just brings in such healing even for them.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: And you know I've worked with atheists that have said well I didn't believe in anything when I came here but I believe in something now you know because their loved ones came through.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah I've worked with that I've worked with all dem you know faiths and you know even Mennonites believe it or not have come to me when there was a a big accident in the and there were children lost and I had a family come to me and that you don't expect you know but they came through.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: So so once you I begin I'll do the little blessing I'll start getting the information and then I start putting it out and it's right from the get-go, you know they know to say something whether it's something the person has with them maybe in their pocket or is it something about their passing or is it their name?
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: They know what to bring to move that out of the way because they want so deeply to allow their family members to feel them and they want that for them and they know that and it helps them too you know we think it's one sided and it's not you know so I think I was never a skeptic of believing in things you know Jesus taught us eternal life Buddhists taught us reincarnate I mean everything's you know whatever your faith is it doesn't matter there's some understanding in there somewhere and the and there are people well when I go I go and I'm in the dirt and I'm like more power to you if that's what you want to believe but you're gonna have a wake up call when you get there because there's gonna be a whole lot of love waiting for you.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: And I think that's part of it too people go through such a transformation even in a one hour session.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: I record all my sessions for people so they can have it to go over again.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: I think that's very important because I have many people that'll email me and say oh my God I didn't even hear you say that.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: It's a da da da da da you know and it gave them more you know so it you know I treat the session sacredly and the sacredness is very it helps bring that vibration up where most people will feel more comfortable.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: You know some people raising their vibration makes them anxious and I tell them sometimes in the blessing you feel a little anxious just stay with me and the visions start coming and then it just brings they bring it all together.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: You know to be able to trust the I say the spirit world's the easy part.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: You know the yeah but once they start communicating and say you know chicken and waffles you know what I mean and and you know right it means it ends up meaning something so profound for the brother who you know wasn't quite sure if he believed but after that he he knew his brother was with him on the vacation and he couldn't deny that you know and the mother said I it woke him up to make him believe.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah those are the things that'll happen in a session.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: Wow that's powerful stuff.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: So Beth can you tell us about more about Interlight Teaching your book Life, Death and in between and Heart and Soul Fitness where to find you on the internet how to get a session with you all that good stuff.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: All that good stuff.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: It's all on my website innerlightteaching.com and I like to tell people I do not over email you won't get five from me every week um you'll get maybe one a month maybe two and it's just to update events or if there's any changes and you know scheduling is on there.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: I do remote I do in person if you're in the Treasure Coast of Florida and my books are all on there Life, Death and In Between Perspectives from the Other Side is basically, you know, when I wrote it it was 25 years doing the work work if you call it that.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: And you know and so it's a lot of stories and things that I went through and experienced personally and for others to show them the understanding and bring a little bit of the science in for my atheists you know the vibrational understanding and you know that I'm not a scientist but I can tap it a little bit and and bring it in to help you understand.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: And you know I talk about all kinds of passings, you know, from natural to the unaliving and and how to understand them more.
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: There's a lot to that that goes on.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: So yeah but everything's on the website and get those five free meditations and there's even a few five minute ones that are very easy to just follow and start slowing down.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: You know don't slow down a little we don't stop thinking we slow thinking and it's possible.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: And I do want to say I do keep seeing your dog on two legs and I know dogs do that but I've had it four times and it's like so I don't know if your dog couldn't do that or did it all the time but there's usually one extreme or the other all right yeah yeah thank you and it's got this little side view that it does.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: I don't know this little side eye thing this dog.
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: So it's a cute little thing.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: It's playful it's very playful.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: But the two legs on the rear on the i I keep seeing it.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: So he's with you.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
