- 0:12Continuation of the Holy Gospel according to Saint Luke At that
- 0:18time Jesus stood in the midst of his disciples and say to them,
- 0:24Peace be to you. It is, I fear not.
- 0:28But they, being troubled and frighted, supposed that they saw
- 0:33a spirit. And he said to them, Why are you
- 0:37troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
- 0:42See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself handle me, and
- 0:48see, for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as you see me to
- 0:54have. And when He had said this, he
- 0:57showed them his hands and his feet, but while they yet
- 1:02believed not, and wondered for joy, he said, Have you hear
- 1:08anything to eat? And they offered him a piece of
- 1:11broiled fish and a honeycomb. And when he had eaten before
- 1:15them, taking the remains, he gave to them.
- 1:20And he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you
- 1:23while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be
- 1:28fulfilled, that are written in the law of Moses, and in the
- 1:32prophets, and in the Psalms concerning me.
- 1:36Then he opened their understanding, that they might
- 1:38understand the Scriptures. And he said to them, Thus it is
- 1:43written. And thus it behooved Christ to
- 1:47suffer, and to rise again from the dead the third day, and that
- 1:52penance and remission of sin should be preached in His name
- 1:57among all nations.
