- 0:00Speaker: Good morning.
- 0:01Speaker: What is the most important thing we can do?
- 0:05Speaker: Is be aware of our environment, of our surroundings.
- 0:10Speaker: Be aware of what we are thinking.
- 0:13Speaker: Be aware of the correlation between the two, what you're thinking versus your environment.
- 0:21Speaker: What is the relationship between these two?
- 0:24Speaker: For instance, we awake in the morning, we open our eyes and we acclimate ourselves to our physical being.
- 0:33Speaker: We remember our past, we're aware of our present.
- 0:38Speaker: We can begin to postulate about what might occur in our future.
- 0:45Speaker: Within the context of all of this is being alert, being awake, being aware.
- 0:58Speaker: What does this mean?
- 1:01Speaker: It means having some sense of consciousness.
- 1:05Speaker: And what can we discern from this is there are greater and lesser degrees of consciousness.
- 1:16Speaker: Now we're beginning to point our direction, our gaze, into mindful meditation, being more receptive to becoming more aware.
- 1:37Speaker: This is what we are doing when we ask a question of ourselves Who am I?
- 1:48Speaker 1: Why am I?
- 1:50Speaker 1: What where?
- 1:53Speaker 1: When am I?
- 1:57Speaker: How am I here?
- 1:59Speaker: These six questions of Thomas Wilson.
- 2:03Speaker: Eventually everything gets back to these questions in one way, shape, or form.
- 2:09Speaker: Eventually everything gets back to the basic premise of being aware, of being alert, of being awake.
- 2:23Speaker: You and I have come to this point in this day, in these moments, whenever they might be, to distinguish between our different kinds of thinking.
- 2:37Speaker: We have determined an interest and openness towards discussing within the context of our own being to the pursuit of greater wisdom and knowledge, one's seeking to create habit out of practice, seeking of self-improvement, of a greater sensitivity to what's going on inside and outside of oneself, to know our world better, to know how it works, to understand what's going on in every or any context.
- 3:26Speaker: So the question begs to be asked what is the most important thing one can do?
- 3:38Speaker 1: The answer begs to be answered, Know thyself, to thine own self be true.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Who are you?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Why?
- 3:58Speaker 1: What when, where, how are you here?
- 4:09Speaker: Answering these questions are going to give one a great depth of potentialities to understand.
- 4:22Speaker: Being open minded is important for one to play in this realm, in this game of life.
- 4:32Speaker: When one comes with many already made up enclosing, limiting traditions, ideas, concepts, it is not as easy to be open-minded.
- 4:55Speaker: This can be fostered by many different directions of events, one's parents, one's own experiences, one's culture, one's society, one's religions, one's governments, one's everything are indications of and persuasive components of whom we are, further making it even more crucial to be receptive, open minded, to just being aware, to not necessarily having a need to make judgments, but to being a witness, to being objective to what is being thought of between one's ears.
- 6:00Speaker: Can you do this?
- 6:03Speaker: Can one allow themselves to be beyond the threshold of one's ego and just be accepting of the wash of humanity's thoughts?
- 6:22Speaker: Because we have a good sense of thousands of years of mankind's already made traditions.
- 6:32Speaker: We have, let's just say, up to twenty thousand years of traditions we can choose from, follow, understand, reject, yet coming to a greater sense of understanding and wisdom, knowledge across the board.
- 6:52Speaker: This is what I refer to as the dawning of the Aquarian age, where there is a capacity and a capability to both learn from what we can see, languages, structures, the way we have evolved, our governments, our religions, all these different things, and our own curiosity as Homo sapiens, our own innate possibilities fostered by evolution.
- 7:29Speaker: We are here now.
- 7:34Speaker: We are bundles of miracles.
- 7:37Speaker: When we have these considerations, it is easy also to be humbled by this immensity we are opening within ourselves and beyond our skin.
- 7:55Speaker: There is an infinitude not only behind one's nose, but in every single thing, for everything is from, related to, made up of the primordial energy of creation.
- 8:22Speaker: What does that mean to me or to you?
- 8:27Speaker: To be thankful, to be full of gratitude, to in this widening perspective we are discussing to begin to feel a sense of awe, a sense of calm, peace, a sense of virtue.
- 8:53Speaker: We are here, making these efforts to become more aware, to grow, to stimulate, to nourish our own being, and of everything surrounding us, for we are each a beacon.
- 9:11Speaker: We are each not so different than a sun, remembering we are in essence one.
- 9:20Speaker: There's a lot to think about.
- 9:23Speaker: Please do.
- 9:25Speaker: Have a great mindful day, smiling in one's own radiance, one's knowledge, one's mindfulness.
- 9:37Speaker: Namaste.
