- 0:00Speaker: I see all good people now.
- 0:02Speaker: Anyhow, I've been away for a few days in my condo fixing it up.
- 0:21Speaker: Seven doors and eight windows.
- 0:23Speaker: Big ones, big aluminum panels facing the ocean, in the Atlantic Ocean, and the ones that were there previously had deteriorated over the years oxidizing and with use and stuff like that.
- 0:36Speaker: So I needed to replace them and just finished that.
- 0:39Speaker: So, explanation of why I haven't been here every morning.
- 0:42Speaker: I have been in my heart and my mind.
- 0:45Speaker: And it is not taken lightly to be or not to be.
- 0:50Speaker: For there is only one thing we should be doing and it's being more aware.
- 0:55Speaker: You can always utilize the aspects of my podcast and go to a previous version of a podcast and maybe have a good laugh on me.
- 1:07Speaker: I was thinking this morning, looking out at the ocean, indeed, of how the energy transforms from the actual surface of the sea into the air.
- 1:19Speaker: And I had the glint of the sun in such a way that I felt I could see the energy transitioning.
- 1:29Speaker: And it's not so much that it was water molecules that were in this transition process, but just the energy itself.
- 1:40Speaker: A face like our skin is, of feeling, of energetic interactions.
- 1:47Speaker: Because this is really what's going on.
- 1:49Speaker: An interesting insight.
- 1:51Speaker: And so too, with the earth.
- 1:54Speaker: Mistake to think that it is not energized because it is full of energy.
- 1:59Speaker: Look at nuclear power.
- 2:01Speaker: Food for thought in one's meditation is to think of things, not to get carried away with the egotistical yearnings of young minds, even when we are old.
- 2:12Speaker: But to look further afield and seek out and search for an understanding, a better understanding, a wider perspective of everything we can imagine, visualize, with a sense of virtuosity, with a sense of focusing and concentration upon self-improvement, bettering ourselves.
- 2:40Speaker: Why not?
- 2:41Speaker: Making opportunities grow, planting seeds of encouragement inside of one's own mind with self-affirmations.
- 2:52Speaker: Do not be distracted by negativity inside or coming from outside of oneself.
- 3:00Speaker: Affirmations are very powerful self-suggestions.
- 3:07Speaker: Utilizing them, please try it.
- 3:11Speaker: You'll like it.
- 3:12Speaker: You can change.
- 3:14Speaker: You are changing in every moment of every day.
- 3:19Speaker: It is the nature of the energy of creation, of which we all are part of the primal energy.
- 3:26Speaker: It is what we are conceived of.
- 3:30Speaker: In one combination or another, right?
- 3:33Speaker: One collaboration of time and space.
- 3:36Speaker: We call it evolution.
- 3:39Speaker: We call it our DNA.
- 3:42Speaker: Understanding we are millions of years old, all are.
- 3:48Speaker: Not one, all.
- 3:50Speaker: Each being a bundle of miracles.
- 3:56Speaker: So incredibly tall that we stand above the surface of our planet, of our earth.
- 4:02Speaker: We stand tall.
- 4:04Speaker: Not only in our awareness, our physical structures also.
- 4:10Speaker: Taking as little as possible for granted is a great aspiration, to be thankful, feeling gratitude for everything one can conceive, visualize, imagine, experience.
- 4:30Speaker: Being thankful for a moment to live.
- 4:38Speaker: Everything is a gift.
- 4:42Speaker: Some people mistakenly believe they're owed something by somebody, maybe in some ways, but the creation of life is something incredible.
- 4:54Speaker: Because what it is represents our incredible human nature, Homo sapiens.
- 5:02Speaker: Finding in one's focus and concentration one's bodily activities, one's breath, for instance, one's breathing in long and slow.
- 5:15Speaker: Pausing when one is satiated, and beginning to exhale through one's mouth and nose, pausing, and to breathe in again.
- 5:30Speaker: Long and slow.
- 5:32Speaker: Breathing out longer and slower.
- 5:35Speaker: Relaxing.
- 5:37Speaker: Being in a comfortable posture.
- 5:39Speaker: Find yourself in a wonderfully comfortable posture.
- 5:44Speaker: Or as best you can, understanding everyone is in a different environment.
- 5:48Speaker: Doing one's best one can.
- 5:51Speaker: Following one's breathing pattern, what's going on?
- 5:55Speaker: Changing it as suggested.
- 5:57Speaker: Longer and slower, please.
- 6:00Speaker: Being aware of the four parts I've mentioned.
- 6:03Speaker: As we're doing this, feeling one's warmth emanating through one's skin.
- 6:09Speaker: Or at least to the surface of one's skin.
- 6:11Speaker: If it's cold outside, then there's a contest going on between, who wins.
- 6:17Speaker: If you're feeling cold, then the atmosphere has won.
- 6:21Speaker: The environment.
- 6:22Speaker: If you're warm, being aware is what we're speaking about of one's bodily heat emanating.
- 6:32Speaker: Your heart and your lungs are working, generating the heat in your torso.
- 6:36Speaker: One's vascular system spreads this warm blood around your body.
- 6:41Speaker: This is what's going on.
- 6:43Speaker: Being aware.
- 6:48Speaker: Being consciously concentrating, focusing on being here now, current, present, in these moments, not thinking about the past nor subjecting the future to one's own imagination, but being here in these moments, studying oneself, know thyself, to thine own self be true.
- 7:18Speaker: Is this not the suggestion age old?
- 7:21Speaker: Know thyself.
- 7:23Speaker: Who are you?
- 7:25Speaker: Whom am I?
- 7:29Speaker: Is a question one is frequently asked to reflect upon.
- 7:35Speaker: With virtue of understanding, empathy, and compassion, make this analysis with kindness in one's heart, with a sparkle in one's eyes, as being curious, open-minded, and a witness rather than a judge or an ego.
- 7:54Speaker: Make no comparisons.
- 7:57Speaker: Consider whom you are, being honest and reflective, and making one's best effort to learn to improve.
- 8:09Speaker: This is mindful meditation.
- 8:12Speaker: Whatever religion, whatever, is this not make sense?
- 8:17Speaker: Is this not a good thing to do?
- 8:19Speaker: Know thyself and improve oneself by acquiring more virtuous behavior, more positivity.
- 8:29Speaker: I ask you to reflect.
- 8:33Speaker: The music's going to continue for about another minute.
- 8:37Speaker: Have a fabulous weekend. namaste
