- Jessica Figueroa: Good morning, my friends. Thank you so much for continuing to tune in to the Just For Today podcast, where we get better a little bit every single day. Today's assignment is to look for all of the serendipitous events in life. And you're like, but Cindy, what does serendipitous mean? Okay, well, I'm gonna tell you. Serendipitous means it's an adjective that describes the occurrence of fortunate, pleasant, or valuable events that seem to be happening by chance. Luck or accident. It's sometimes described as being in the right place at the right time. You know, when you take a wrong turn and you're on vacation, but then you end up somewhere and see this beautiful waterfall you wouldn't have if you didn't take the long turn. Or when you randomly one time I was at a gas station hours away from my home and ran into a friend I hadn't seen in 15 years who lived hours away from there. How did we happen to be at the same gas station at the same time in the middle of nowhere, Florida? That, my friends, is serendipity. And it's happening to us every single day, but we're just not paying attention. It happened to me this morning. I was driving in my car for about 30 minutes and I had a serendipitous thing happen to me in my car and this realization that seemed to come out of nowhere. But really, it's just me being aware that it is all working together for my good. And that's what our God does. He works all things together for good. So these serendipitous moments that are happening every day. Are things that once you become aware of, you start to feel that confidence that God is working for your good. Have you ever been in a goodwill or a thrift store and you just happen to come across your favorite book and the one you were missing in the series you wanted to buy? These are these moments, guys, that we need to treasure and we need to see because the more we see them, the more we notice them, and the more we realize it's all working out. It is all working together for good. So just for today. We are going to pay attention to all the serendipitous moments in our day. And again, that is all the occurrence of fortunate, pleasant, or valuable events that seem to be happening by chance, luck, or ax luck or accident. But we know that chance is just when God chooses to remain anonymous. So look out there today for all the serendipitous moments in your life. I will see you guys tomorrow.
