Today, Elizabeth Siders became the latest grown-up in the Ohio 16 case to face a formal mental-health question in court. In an August 4, 2026 filing, her attorney asked the Vinton County court to order an evaluation on two issues: whether she’s competent to stand trial now, and whether she may have been not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of the alleged offenses.
