SPEAKER_00: So each week I'm gonna share stories, lessons, guidance to help you navigate life's challenges and really own your magic.
• 0:40
SPEAKER_00: So if you're ready to step up, take control, and show up as the most authentic version of you, let's begin.
• 0:48
SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to another episode on the podcast.
• 0:52
SPEAKER_00: Today I have Stephanie Nelson, who is a somatic coach who helps high-achieving women move from stress and overwhelm into clarity and balance by harmonizing the nervous system.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_00: Her work centers around embodied healing.
• 1:05
SPEAKER_00: She has so many certifications.
• 1:08
SPEAKER_00: Her uh her yeah, her certifications and qualifications are really impressive.
• 1:13
SPEAKER_00: And as a fellow MG, I totally get the um the obsession almost, right?
• 1:20
SPEAKER_00: With more knowledge, more information, and being able to service and help people in that way.
• 1:26
SPEAKER_00: So this conversation was really, really great.
• 1:28
SPEAKER_00: Stephanie and I have talked about so much.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_00: We talked about emotions, we talked about human design, we talked about astrology, we talked about chronic health issues, we talked about nervous system as an energetic system.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_00: We talked about past lives and trauma, health and aging, mind-body connection, like so much of all the topics that I'm obsessed with.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_00: So, and Stephanie and I just like when you know when you meet someone and you talk to them and you literally could talk to them all day and just like there's a vibe.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_00: Um, it was definitely there.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: So really excited for you to hear this conversation because she also pulled me through um parts work, an IFS-inspired sort of cycle as we were talking about overachieving women and how we push ourselves to do more, to be better, to fill all of our time with working and how we can kind of like soften the nervous system within that.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_00: I've been doing these 28 days of lives over on Instagram.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_00: So if you do not follow me on Instagram, you can head over there if you want to follow along with that story.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_00: It's really just about moving from the mind into the body.
• 2:32
SPEAKER_00: And so we've been talking about so many things from self-trust to overwhelm to burnout to sleep to astrology as a compass, not a cage, which was today's theme.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_00: We've talked about, yeah, self-trust, just like so many different themes, really centered around how we can be more embodied in our body and in our knowing and trusting ourselves because right now with the astrology and just like life in general, um there are so many things that are pulling us in all sorts of different directions.
• 2:58
SPEAKER_00: And it's really important to stay anchored and centered in your knowing and yourself and your values.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_00: And this week, so the eclipse was Tuesday, the 17th.
• 3:09
SPEAKER_00: And I hope that you are feeling good.
• 3:11
SPEAKER_00: I woke up this morning just feeling like super anxious in my nervous system for, I mean, I don't want to say for no reason, but for no reason, kind of, right?
• 3:18
SPEAKER_00: And it kind of trickled out a little bit throughout the day.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_00: But I noticed this weekend I was moving through a lot of shadows, a lot of insecurities were coming up, and I was able to witch witness them and watch them and kind of move through them.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_00: And since then, since Monday, things have just been moving.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_00: There's been the momentum, there's been just like really like kismet manifestations that have been coming through, just like really interesting.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_00: And I just keep being like surprised by it and also just so grateful to the universe for, you know, I don't know.
• 3:50
  SPEAKER_00: I don't want to say I don't know.
• 3:52
SPEAKER_00: I feel like in my process and in the process of manifestation, it's sort of like when we can move through the hard things and break from the old patterning, then it's like the universe is like, I see you, right?
• 4:01
  SPEAKER_00: Like, I see you.
• 4:02
  SPEAKER_00: We're moving through this.
• 4:03
SPEAKER_00: So you're allowing more space for what we have for you.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: And so it's just been feel it's literally been like one thing after the other, after the other, a lot of it monetary, which I've really been working through a lot of my like sort of like lack mindset when it comes to that.
• 4:17
SPEAKER_00: And so this just feels like um I don't want to say a test, but it's like the universe is like, okay, here you go.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: Now show us that you've actually broken those narratives and those patterns.
• 4:28
SPEAKER_00: And so that's kind of where I'm at.
• 4:30
  SPEAKER_00: I feel really excited.
• 4:32
  SPEAKER_00: I feel really good.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: I feel like you keep cycling closer to something.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so yeah, just stay along for the ride and you will hear my story unfold.
• 4:43
SPEAKER_00: Um, Jesse Eccles and I, astrologer Jesse Eccles, if you have we used to do uh monthly transit updates here on the podcast, but we've stayed connected on Instagram and we are doing an astrology and business hour sort of monthly um offering, I guess, where we're talking about Monet, yes, as a business and how it can provide you income and all these things, but also we really just value this is one of the things I love about Jesse is that yes, we're in business and yes, we want sales and we want to grow and all these different things.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_00: And also we have always connected just over like being human, right?
• 5:21
SPEAKER_00: Like being human in the space, being mothers in this space, being tired, being entrepreneurs and what all that means.
• 5:26
SPEAKER_00: So we want to invite you to a free space once a month where astro business.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_00: So again, being completely transparent, this is Monate inspired and based.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: However, we want to bring in the human.
• 5:37
SPEAKER_00: So we are going to be talking about astrology.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_00: We're going to be allowing space for anyone to talk about motherhood, about dating, about marriage, about, you know, anything that you want to bring to the space and just like letting you be human.
• 5:50
SPEAKER_00: Um, so come learn, come chat, come connect because that is really what it is about, is just connecting on a human level and just being with each other and supporting each other in this space.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_00: So the link for that is going to be down below in the show notes.
• 6:03
SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, if you want to know more about the business side of Monate and what it can offer you, then there's also a link down below for a free webinar you can check out.
• 6:12
SPEAKER_00: And if you just want really amazing hair care products that make you feel good, uh, you can just get some shampoo and feel good about it.
• 6:19
SPEAKER_00: And aside from that, Astro Design Collective is open.
• 6:23
SPEAKER_00: So the monthly moon circles will be in there.
• 6:26
SPEAKER_00: And it is a just month-to-month, no obligation um space.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_00: And then Astro Design School, which is the year-long container, where we're learning ourselves through the lens of the transits.
• 6:38
SPEAKER_00: We're transits, we're really learning how to work with the transits, learning ourselves and our cycles through the seasons of the year is going to begin uh airy season.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_00: So that is March 21st, I believe, if I'm not mistaken.
• 6:49
SPEAKER_00: So you can sign up for that now.
• 6:51
SPEAKER_00: Everything you need to know is down in the show notes.
• 6:53
SPEAKER_00: Follow me on Instagram at rochelle.christian, and all the information you need is down there.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_00: I will end it here, and I hope that you enjoyed the episode.
• 7:01
SPEAKER_00: And I will catch you next week.
• 7:07
  SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the podcast.
• 7:08
SPEAKER_00: Today I have Stephanie Nelson, who is a trauma-informed somatic coach, nervous system practitioner, and founder of the Stress Healers.
• 7:15
SPEAKER_00: Your qualifications and certifications are impressive.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_00: You have many from mind body coach, integrative uh somatic trauma therapy, IFS, Polyvagel, uh, yoga, Reiki.
• 7:26
  SPEAKER_00: I mean, so many.
• 7:27
  SPEAKER_00: I love it.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know if you're familiar with human design, but like as a manifesting generator, it's like all the things.
• 7:33
SPEAKER_00: I'm like so familiar with it.
• 7:35
SPEAKER_00: Uh, but I always like to start with uh kind of letting you uh share as much or as little as you'd like about your story, how you got into this work, like if there's you know anything pivotal or like impactful along the way that really like kind of shifted your trajectory, and then we'll just take it from there.
• 7:50
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, absolutely.
• 7:52
SPEAKER_04: For me, it it began really with my own struggles and my own issues, my own diagnoses.
• 8:00
SPEAKER_04: When I was 12, I was diagnosed with arthritis bursitis and tendinitis in both of my hips.
• 8:06
SPEAKER_04: And it was often so bad, so inflamed, that I couldn't walk upstairs at 12 years old.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_04: And so along the way, it was introduced to so many different body work practices from nutrition to myofascial release to chiropractic and ART active release therapy, and then eventually yoga, Pilates, and Reiki, and all of these different things until eventually I found somatics and the nervous system and healing the nervous system.
• 8:39
SPEAKER_04: And I understood at that moment that everything that I was doing to heal the chronic pain and then the number of other diagnoses that I accumulated along the way, like an anxiety disorder and gut issues, um, to understanding that that light bulb moment of like, oh, the nervous system is at the root of all of this.
• 9:01
SPEAKER_04: And from one lens, we can think of the nervous system as a mechanical scientific thing.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_04: But from my background in energy healing and yoga, that it's also an energetic system.
• 9:16
SPEAKER_04: It's an emotional and energetic system.
• 9:19
SPEAKER_04: So it was really 20 plus years of my own healing to get me to a place where I felt like I just had to share this with other people.
• 9:33
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 9:34
  SPEAKER_00: Wow, 12 years old.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_00: That's like, have when you were diagnosed with this, I mean, I I want to ask, is that common?
• 9:42
SPEAKER_00: But I don't think that's common to be 12 with because I feel like a lot of people, you know, it's a little bit later in their life when the chronic stress has just been like packed on, you know, through decades.
• 9:50
SPEAKER_00: And then it's kind of like your body is like, you have to face me.
• 9:53
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so I guess for your journey, having like, so have you healed all of this?
• 9:59
  SPEAKER_04: Um yes and no.
• 10:02
SPEAKER_04: I still experience symptoms of things from time to time, like anxiety or perfectionism or gut bloating issues or um or the pain still from time to time for sure.
• 10:17
SPEAKER_04: But it doesn't interfere with my life anymore.
• 10:20
SPEAKER_04: It's not debilitating, it doesn't suck all of my time and energy and effort towards that.
• 10:25
SPEAKER_04: I'm much more free than I ever was.
• 10:28
SPEAKER_04: But I don't know if I can say that there's like a healed and unhealed.
• 10:33
SPEAKER_04: It's like this constant evolution where you're doing the work and you're healing and all of this opens up for you, and then something else comes in, you're like, oh, that's a new layer for me.
• 10:46
  SPEAKER_00: The healing journey, right?
• 10:48
SPEAKER_00: It's always the onion layer.
• 10:51
SPEAKER_00: Um when you so when you were like diagnosed with this at 12, were you to like go down the path of sort of more somatic work or alternative healing methods?
• 11:02
SPEAKER_00: Were your parents or caretakers really into that sort of healing?
• 11:06
SPEAKER_04: They were not previously, but they were open to different things because so my doctor had told me that I basically condemned me to a life sentence of pain medication and told me that I'd be in a wheelchair by the time I was 30.
• 11:23
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 11:24
SPEAKER_04: And there was something inside of my 12-year-old system that was like it's gotta be another way.
• 11:30
SPEAKER_04: Like, what's going on here?
• 11:32
  SPEAKER_04: I'm 12.
• 11:33
  SPEAKER_04: Like, what?
• 11:35
SPEAKER_04: So there was that voice, that intuition, that wisdom.
• 11:40
SPEAKER_04: And you had asked around the 12-year-old thing, like, is this common for 12 years old?
• 11:46
SPEAKER_04: In the healing work that I've been doing, so much of it has has been past life.
• 11:51
SPEAKER_04: And so that's why I think that it was so early for me is because it was yes, there were things from this lifetime from my childhood that I was healing from, but also so much had come in with me.
• 12:05
SPEAKER_04: So I think that's why it was so young, so young for me.
• 12:09
  SPEAKER_04: Um but yeah, yeah.
• 12:14
SPEAKER_00: Past life, work, and healing and trauma is so fascinating to me.
• 12:19
SPEAKER_00: I find that there are sometimes certain things that I have such a strong reaction to that there's no basis in this lifetime why I would feel that way or why I would have such a phobia.
• 12:31
SPEAKER_00: And I I always think I'm like, it has to be something past life.
• 12:34
SPEAKER_00: Like I was either killed in like some dramatic way or something, right?
• 12:37
  SPEAKER_00: And I I'm I'm a huge believer in past life things.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, I know um there's a there's like a I always mispronounce it, but you know, Rudolf Steiner, his work anthro, I I'm gonna completely butcher the word.
• 12:52
SPEAKER_00: I always mispronounce it, anthro prophosy or anthroposophy, I don't know, something like that.
• 12:57
SPEAKER_00: But they it's like a like a mystic school sort of like um, I don't know, I'm I'm butchering what it is, but they do a lot in like the seven-year cycles, which is really related to astrology, you know, and I know that that like 12 to 14 is is they say that it is around that time where your soul decides to stay in this body in this life or to kind of like exit it.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_00: And so it's kind of interesting that you know, all those issues kind of came up around that time.
• 13:26
  SPEAKER_00: Fascinating.
• 13:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I know I'm familiar with that work, but you'll have to send me a linker.
• 13:31
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_00: If I could say it properly, it might have rang a bell.
• 13:35
SPEAKER_00: I can never pronounce the word, but y'all have to send it along.
• 13:38
SPEAKER_00: Sounds like a tough word.
• 13:39
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 13:40
SPEAKER_00: Well, and it's so, you know, I think like our medical system.
• 13:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm a huge um, you know, proponent of alternative medicine.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_00: I studied Ayurveda for a little while.
• 13:50
SPEAKER_00: At the time, I didn't have the bandwidth because I'm like, this is a whole science.
• 13:53
SPEAKER_00: Like, this is not just like studying energy work for six months, like this was gonna be like a doctorate degree, like it was crazy.
• 13:59
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 14:00
SPEAKER_00: And so I did it for I think a year and I was like, I just I didn't have the capacity for it.
• 14:03
  SPEAKER_00: It was a lot.
• 14:04
SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's just so interesting.
• 14:07
SPEAKER_00: I completely lost my train of thought.
• 14:09
SPEAKER_00: How did I start that?
• 14:11
SPEAKER_00: My mind has been so scattered today.
• 14:14
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know what it is.
• 14:16
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I think I was talking about the medical system.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_00: I was just about the medical, yes.
• 14:20
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 14:21
SPEAKER_00: How we're just like, and I think specifically with women's health, I feel this very much like just diagnosis.
• 14:27
SPEAKER_00: There's no like caring or asking any questions.
• 14:30
SPEAKER_00: Like, I remember when my daughter was a baby, she had chronic ear infections, and so it was just constant antibiotics.
• 14:37
SPEAKER_00: And I mean, it was years where she became immune to the antibiotics and we had to up it, and then she had to take multiple doses.
• 14:42
SPEAKER_00: And not one time did any doctor ask me anything about what she was eating, anything about her history, like nothing.
• 14:48
SPEAKER_00: It's just write a prescription, carry on, write a prescription.
• 14:51
SPEAKER_00: I always felt rushed and we'd go to the ER because it was in the middle of the night.
• 14:55
SPEAKER_00: And so I think that it's amazing that you were able to kind of like find these alternatives.
• 15:01
SPEAKER_00: Cause I think, you know, as a child, especially, we're so dependent on like, you know, our caretakers to be the ones to make those decisions and to even like seek anything outside of that traditional system.
• 15:11
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, back in like an especially nowadays, maybe more, because I feel like it's becoming a little bit more popularized.
• 15:17
SPEAKER_00: But you know, back in like, you know, 2000s or 90s, I feel like it was very uncommon, right?
• 15:22
SPEAKER_00: You just kind of like took what the doctor's word was for like fact and and moved on, you know?
• 15:28
  SPEAKER_04: Right.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_04: It is definitely a different time now.
• 15:30
SPEAKER_04: And yeah, I do feel looking back, I feel so grateful that they were willing to be.
• 15:35
SPEAKER_04: And I don't even, I cannot remember who even spearheaded what and when, but it it really did, it feels like it was a team effort that um there was sort of this quasi-path presented from my own intuition because again, the doctor was like prescriptions, wheelchair, surgery, and that's that's what's gonna happen.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_04: And and and and I'm not a medical expert.
• 15:59
SPEAKER_04: From my own personal experience with myself and my loved ones, the medical system is not trained to heal.
• 16:07
SPEAKER_04: They're trained to manage systems.
• 16:09
SPEAKER_04: It's great in an emergency or an accident or something like that, like very life-saving in that regard.
• 16:15
SPEAKER_04: But to move towards real health, and health is not the absence of disease, but to move towards real health, real aliveness, real capability.
• 16:26
SPEAKER_04: Our Western allopathic medical system is not trained and they're not, they're not trained for it.
• 16:33
SPEAKER_04: And they have no education and nutrition.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_04: They spend, I think it's like seven minutes with a patient, and it might be even less now.
• 16:42
SPEAKER_04: I think that stat was a bit is very old.
• 16:44
SPEAKER_04: But this person that you're relying, I mean, that your life depends on this person, and they're spending seven minutes with you and not asking you about like the major things that make up who you are, you're what you eat, what you ingest, not just what you eat in terms of food, but like everything you're ingesting, the air that you're breathing in, the water that you're taking in, the sleep, the people around you, the beliefs that other people or caregivers are putting onto you.
• 17:09
SPEAKER_04: You're ingesting all of this, the media.
• 17:12
SPEAKER_04: And and if whoever is in charge of your health is not also interested in everything that makes you you, you gotta seek out some other support systems, right?
• 17:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 17:24
SPEAKER_00: Well, and I think like the baseline of what healthy is is also very skewed, you know, because you talk about chronic stress or digestive issues.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_00: And I think those are so common in the West, maybe more specifically, but that it's just like it's like, yeah, like what's normal is like actually not, and we're we believe that it is, you know, it's common, it's not normal, right?
• 17:46
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 17:46
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, everyone's experiencing it.
• 17:48
SPEAKER_04: So we normalize it and we write it off as like old age.
• 17:52
SPEAKER_04: That was something you know, I was hearing so much from people older than me around me.
• 17:56
SPEAKER_04: It's like, oh, it's just a part of getting older.
• 17:58
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, but is it though?
• 17:59
SPEAKER_04: Or is it just lack of movement, lack of sleep, um, being too busy to, especially nowadays with like Doordash and all these other conveniences where we're eating out way more and the amount of alcohol we're ingesting, like, is it really that we're just getting older?
• 18:14
SPEAKER_04: Is it that we're poisoning ourselves over time?
• 18:18
  unknown: Yeah.
• 18:20
  SPEAKER_00: For sure.
• 18:20
SPEAKER_00: And I think that like, you know, the quality of what we're consuming is different because my parents, you know, I know the older generation too is like, well, it didn't kill us.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, but also when you ate something unhealthy, it was actually probably mostly like real ingredients, you know, like might have had a lot of sugar or like salt, but it wasn't like 25, you know, ingredients for something this big.
• 18:40
SPEAKER_00: So I think that's, you know, uh, I was having a conversation with somebody the other day and they they were asking me, Mike, I because I don't ever try and like really push my opinions on people, but if they ask me, I'm like, okay, you sure you want it?
• 18:51
  SPEAKER_00: So here we go.
• 18:52
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 18:53
SPEAKER_00: But he was asking about he was eating chicken and he was asking because I'm I'm plant-based.
• 18:57
  SPEAKER_00: And I and I don't advocate, like, I don't think that's for everybody.
• 18:59
SPEAKER_00: I think everybody's body needs different things.
• 19:02
SPEAKER_00: It's more the quality of it, you know.
• 19:03
SPEAKER_00: But I was like going on about like factory farming and like the energy that we're ingesting.
• 19:07
SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Oh, that makes a lot of sense.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel really frustrated a lot of times.
• 19:11
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, you know, I mean it's amazing.
• 19:13
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 19:14
  SPEAKER_04: I funny anecdote.
• 19:15
SPEAKER_04: I was living in Spain, living and working in Spain, and I was already vegetarian at the time.
• 19:21
SPEAKER_04: And I was hiking really early in the morning and just hearing gonna maybe a trigger warning, um, but hearing, hearing some shrieks and had no idea what that was, and come to find out that that was an animal take being taken to the slaughter.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_04: And it was at that moment that it it was such a shift in the energy around what it is that you're consuming, is it's not just about macros, but the energy and intention.
• 19:54
SPEAKER_04: And even the same we can look at like even a plant-based restaurant, we're going to a plant-based restaurant, and if the people who are cooking the food are angry and they're rushed and they're urgent and they don't really care and they're lazy and whatever, then that's the energy that's going into the food that you're consuming.
• 20:13
SPEAKER_04: So it definitely the energy plays a very, very big role in terms of again, what we're ingesting.
• 20:19
SPEAKER_04: It's not just chicken or broccoli or the macros, but also the energy behind it, the soil behind it, all of it matters.
• 20:27
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 20:28
SPEAKER_00: When you make a good point about, you know, the restaurants too.
• 20:30
SPEAKER_00: Like I've been in the service industry for a while, right?
• 20:32
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, I see that all it's like most people are angry.
• 20:35
SPEAKER_00: Most people that work there are so mad.
• 20:37
SPEAKER_00: They're just like trying to make their money and like, yeah.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_00: And you think about it, yeah, it like all goes into the food.
• 20:43
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I grew up actually in the Middle East.
• 20:45
SPEAKER_00: And so there was like when someone was gifted a house or they bought a new house, they would slaughter like a sheep on, you know, and it was, you know, that that was normal.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_00: But I remember seeing that when I was, oh my gosh, like maybe 10.
• 20:56
SPEAKER_00: And that's probably why I don't eat meat now.
• 20:57
SPEAKER_00: Because I was just like, I was like sitting in my parents' room, like out the window, and I was like crying, and they're like, it's normal.
• 21:02
SPEAKER_00: And the and I was just like, I was so traumatized by like witnessing like death in that way that I hadn't seen that up until that point.
• 21:09
SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, I mean, you know, but even like internationally, I do feel like there's a just a different quality to the meat, you know, because it's not necessarily the factory farmed uh part of it, which, you know, I mean, this is a whole other conversation, but it's just like it is, it is interesting.
• 21:24
SPEAKER_00: I do, I do think that, you know, the quality of what we're consuming really matters.
• 21:27
SPEAKER_00: And like you said, it's not just the food, it's that it's entertainment, it's the media, like, oh my gosh, the phones.
• 21:32
SPEAKER_00: Like over the last, I don't know, few weeks, maybe it's because of the holidays.
• 21:36
SPEAKER_00: Like, I tend to, you know, I mean, I I think everybody does to some point, but I think sometimes when there's certain family gatherings, it tend to detach a little bit and and I'll find myself scrolling in the phone so I don't have to like, you know, set a boundary or like I don't have to like engage in something that I don't want to engage in, you know, which is like a bad pattern.
• 21:53
SPEAKER_00: But you know, then I've noticed like that's like becomes the thing.
• 21:56
SPEAKER_00: And you're just like you can feel it.
• 21:58
SPEAKER_00: I think when you become aware.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_00: Of your your energy, right?
• 22:01
SPEAKER_00: You can really notice when it feels like that way.
• 22:04
SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, I think that um kind of back to uh to your story.
• 22:10
SPEAKER_00: I know we kind of went off on a tangent there, but um as you were like exploring all of these things, and you know, I know that you work with trauma, which I wanted to ask, you know, I wanted to kind of bring up as somebody who's dealt with trauma myself, it's such a challenging piece to heal.
• 22:28
SPEAKER_00: And I know we all deal with trauma, big T trauma, little T trauma, but I think that it makes the healing process so much more confusing because it's like as we're trying to, whether we have like a physical ailment of, you know, for me, even um I would get like uh like gynecological issues.
• 22:44
SPEAKER_00: If like I would get all these issues that the doctors were like, there was no route to it.
• 22:49
SPEAKER_00: And as soon as I left the situation I was in, everything stopped.
• 22:52
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 22:53
SPEAKER_00: And so it's wild how your body will literally tell, and it's not just like it'll tell you where, like what it's connected to, but we just have to like listen, you know?
• 23:03
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 23:04
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean, it's so interesting because we cannot separate our brain and our body as as hard as the Western medical system has tried to separate specialties into like, oh, I'm a I'm a you know, a gastroenterologist, I just do the gut stuff, or I just do the brain stuff, or I just do the heart stuff.
• 23:23
  SPEAKER_04: Like it's all connected.
• 23:26
SPEAKER_04: And I think I know that we've we don't grow up understanding the intricacies and the connection of all of it.
• 23:35
SPEAKER_04: And it does really take a healing journey to present us with another way of reading the signs by reading the body, feeling the body, listening to the body, listening to the wisdom of the body, because it is all connected and it it will show up in in certain areas, just like you're saying, that um, you know, relationships, sexual intimate relationships have a way of showing up um in the hips or um the uterus, or right?
• 24:08
  SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
• 24:08
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, my body was like literally rejecting him, you know, and it was yeah, it was interesting.
• 24:16
SPEAKER_00: It was like, oh, it's crazy.
• 24:17
SPEAKER_04: It's so beautiful that you got the message.
• 24:20
  SPEAKER_00: I yeah, I know.
• 24:20
SPEAKER_00: And and and that's why I think it's so important, you know, like the sabbatic work is so important because I think that so many of us are just we're not taught how, like, because it's just band-aid after band-aid after band-aid.
• 24:33
SPEAKER_00: And so then we just become detached from our body, you know, and it's just it's so important to like to find a way to get in and explore it.
• 24:41
SPEAKER_00: And I know with trauma that can be really challenging because once you start opening that door, it become overwhelming.
• 24:46
SPEAKER_00: And you know, obviously it's important to have somebody who's who's certified or like knows how to hold the space for and work through that.
• 24:54
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 24:55
SPEAKER_00: But, you know, even with you know, when you began in the somatic work and you know, you say that your, you know, a lot of your stuff was uh past lives, you know, like how how did well like what did it look like for that somatic work, like when you were integrating that and like kind of making these connections and realizations?
• 25:15
  SPEAKER_04: Hmm.
• 25:17
SPEAKER_04: Well, it's interesting because I would ask my body whether I was in my own coaching sessions, receiving somatic coaching or somatic archaeology or any of the different modalities that I've been working with over the years, IFS, um, or just in my own personal sadma, my own personal practices throughout the day, is if there is something that's happening, whether it is a physical sensation or it's a behavior, you know, we can ask it.
• 25:45
SPEAKER_04: And it will tell us.
• 25:46
SPEAKER_04: And sometimes it'll tell us with sensations, sometimes it'll tell us with memories, sometimes it'll tell us with colors or shapes or emotions or impulses or um so many different things, but it is a language that we were born knowing.
• 26:03
SPEAKER_04: Like this is the first language that we learn.
• 26:06
SPEAKER_04: We don't even actually have to learn it.
• 26:07
SPEAKER_04: We're born speaking the language of sensation.
• 26:10
SPEAKER_04: When you come out of your mother's womb, you can communicate when you're hungry and you feel when you're hungry, when you're thirsty, you can feel pressure, you can feel temperature, you can feel movement, you can feel cold and hot, you can feel when you're being rocked or swayed.
• 26:27
  SPEAKER_04: That's our first language.
• 26:29
SPEAKER_04: And then we learn the language of emotions and we can experience and act out happiness and sadness and anger and all of these other things.
• 26:39
SPEAKER_04: It isn't until about seven, speaking of the seven cycles, but it isn't till about seven that we can really start to form coherent thoughts.
• 26:50
SPEAKER_04: And then our society prioritizes that as the only way of communicating that we lose the first two languages.
• 26:59
SPEAKER_04: But they are so primal and so innate and so important to our safety, our survival, and even to our aliveness, our our ability to thrive in this life is to have access to all of the different languages that are available to us.
• 27:16
  SPEAKER_04: And so they're normal, they're natural.
• 27:18
SPEAKER_04: We just we unlearn them.
• 27:20
SPEAKER_04: And it's my great privilege in this lifetime to reintroduce people to these other languages so that they can become their own stress healer.
• 27:32
SPEAKER_00: And what does that look like?
• 27:38
SPEAKER_04: I, in practice for myself and for others, um, especially right in the wake of my dad, passed very suddenly from pancreatic cancer a few years ago.
• 27:50
SPEAKER_04: It was one month between diagnosis and death, very quick.
• 27:55
SPEAKER_04: And that sort of spun me into another another round of really intense healing.
• 28:00
SPEAKER_04: And at that point is when this method was downloaded to my system.
• 28:06
SPEAKER_04: And so how I work with it, how it looks like in practice for people is to recognize is the first, the first way we go about this.
• 28:15
SPEAKER_04: So it's like, let's recognize what is our current level of access?
• 28:20
SPEAKER_04: What's easy to feel, what emotions are easy to feel, what emotions are not easy to feel, what sensations, like maybe there's a body part that's always speaking to you.
• 28:28
SPEAKER_04: Maybe it's like, oh my God, I just always feel stuff in my shoulders, but I have no idea what's happening in my lower body.
• 28:33
SPEAKER_04: So we start to recognize like, what are the patterns here?
• 28:36
  SPEAKER_04: What are the tendencies?
• 28:37
  SPEAKER_04: What's easy?
• 28:37
  SPEAKER_04: What feels hard?
• 28:38
  SPEAKER_04: What feels accessible?
• 28:40
SPEAKER_04: And then also recognize where we want to go.
• 28:45
SPEAKER_04: What do we want to experience more of?
• 28:48
SPEAKER_04: So that's the first R is recognize.
• 28:51
SPEAKER_04: And then the second R is resource.
• 28:53
SPEAKER_04: So we start to resource our nervous system.
• 28:55
SPEAKER_04: So we're talking about so much about food earlier.
• 28:58
SPEAKER_04: Our resources, we have so many resources available to us, but some of the foundational ones are our basic survival needs.
• 29:06
SPEAKER_04: If we're not sleeping well, if we're not eating well, if we're not hydrating properly, then our system is going to be screaming at us that it's afraid of not surviving.
• 29:18
SPEAKER_04: So those are ways that we can resource our nervous system: light, sunlight, nature, intimacy, touch, play, laughter, human connection, touch, massage, tapping.
• 29:29
SPEAKER_04: Um one of my teachers, Pat Ogden, who is the founder of sensory motor psychotherapy, once told me the easiest way to resource yourself, the easiest way is to stand up.
• 29:44
SPEAKER_04: Because if we're threatened in life, this is very old, right?
• 29:49
  SPEAKER_04: Very evolutionary.
• 29:51
SPEAKER_04: If you are sitting down or laying down or asleep, you're much more at risk for danger or threat than if you were on your feet, have higher elevation, and can turn around, can reach for things, right?
• 30:08
SPEAKER_04: The easiest way to resource yourself is to stand up.
• 30:12
SPEAKER_04: Of course, not everybody can do that, right?
• 30:14
SPEAKER_04: So we find what works for people, but there's, I mean, really infinite ways of resourcing people that have a whole um platform around this because it's it's the one of the most important things we can do.
• 30:27
SPEAKER_04: And then we start to, once this our system feels resourced enough, safe enough, really an important concept that we're safe enough.
• 30:35
SPEAKER_04: There is no way to be absolutely safe, right?
• 30:38
SPEAKER_04: There is no definitive safety, but safe enough.
• 30:42
SPEAKER_04: And then we look to release some of the things that are stored and trapped in the body, because as we experience stressors and traumas, our body can store them in different ways.
• 30:57
  SPEAKER_04: It's so funny.
• 30:58
SPEAKER_04: People are always like, oh, trauma stored in the hips, trauma stored in the hips.
• 31:01
SPEAKER_04: It's like, yes, and trauma gang gets stored in your pinky finger, in your eyeballs, like anywhere in your body, trauma gang can get trapped.
• 31:11
SPEAKER_04: Um, we see it a lot more in the midline of the body, more like if you're familiar with the chakra system since with your ivated energy background.
• 31:21
SPEAKER_04: Um, so the chakra system correlates incredibly well with the nervous system and the different nerve plexus in the bodies, which are nerve ganglion, like tons and tons and tons of nerves all coming together in one place.
• 31:33
SPEAKER_04: Brilliance of the yoga, ancient yogic system that it parallels.
• 31:38
SPEAKER_04: But it also coordinates with um Rike's uh bands of holding, of holding tension, holding patterns of tension.
• 31:47
SPEAKER_04: So many different places that we can hold things.
• 31:51
SPEAKER_04: And so we have the great opportunity to get in there and ask the body, ask the soma what's ready to be be released now?
• 32:00
  SPEAKER_04: Even 2%, 5%, what's ready?
• 32:03
SPEAKER_04: What's like a little bit that we just can just sort of like let it move through.
• 32:08
SPEAKER_04: Not to push it away or get rid of it, but like give it space to actually move.
• 32:17
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 32:18
SPEAKER_04: This is very different than regulating out of just regulation.
• 32:21
SPEAKER_04: This is like leaning in, right?
• 32:23
SPEAKER_04: But of course, we have to be resourced and of course we have to recognize what's helpful for us, what's not helpful for us, what we want more of, right?
• 32:30
SPEAKER_04: And then the final component is building resilience.
• 32:34
SPEAKER_04: So, how do we expand our capacity to handle more of life's beautiful challenges?
• 32:42
SPEAKER_04: So that's kind of what it looks like.
• 32:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, I love that.
• 32:46
SPEAKER_00: There's so much, I mean, I think I sleep is so important and it always blows my mind.
• 32:54
SPEAKER_00: And I know, like, I don't know if it's because I'm a Taurus, I have so much Taurus energy in me that I'm just like, I'm in bed by like 9:30.
• 33:01
SPEAKER_00: I get my eight hours of sleep, and I know everybody's like has the luxury of that.
• 33:05
SPEAKER_00: But like it's so important, like for physical healing.
• 33:09
SPEAKER_00: I feel like emotional healing.
• 33:10
SPEAKER_00: And you know, I think also as a Taurus, like maybe that's just my coping mechanism, is just to shut it off by going to sleep or like it just disconnect a little bit.
• 33:18
SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, it's it's so important.
• 33:20
SPEAKER_00: I like what you said too about being resourced.
• 33:22
SPEAKER_00: And when you're talking about like standing up, you're just literally talking about standing up, like being able to like get up in a chair and just standing up.
• 33:29
  SPEAKER_04: Just standing up, yeah.
• 33:30
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 33:31
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 33:31
SPEAKER_04: And I would even invite, like, you know, listening to this now is what are you feeling in your body?
• 33:37
SPEAKER_04: And maybe there's a twinge of overwhelm or anxiety or that to-do list that's spiraling, or maybe you're walking a little too fast on your walk and you're like, what am I doing?
• 33:46
SPEAKER_04: I'm always moving at this urgent speed.
• 33:49
SPEAKER_04: Um, but to just stand up, like just stand there for a moment and notice the shift.
• 33:55
  SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
• 33:56
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 33:57
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 33:57
SPEAKER_00: I love the exploration of the body.
• 33:59
SPEAKER_00: That's something that I've really taken on.
• 34:01
SPEAKER_00: I probably more so in like the last year or two.
• 34:04
SPEAKER_00: Um, but I'll I come inside and like describe it, or there's often this sensation I get right here in my chest.
• 34:10
SPEAKER_00: And it kind of goes from my throat a little bit right here.
• 34:12
SPEAKER_00: And it's just like, and I used to like sit with it for like five seconds.
• 34:16
SPEAKER_00: And if it didn't move, I'd be like, oh, it's not going anywhere.
• 34:18
SPEAKER_00: And like I'd move on, right?
• 34:19
SPEAKER_00: But I like what you said too about like have just giving it space.
• 34:23
SPEAKER_00: Because even like today I woke up and I felt a little bit and I was journaling and I just like put the journal down for a second.
• 34:28
SPEAKER_00: I sat with it, you know, and I visualized like a little vacuum at my feet and it didn't go anywhere, but I was like, okay, at least I'm aware, you know, that it's there.
• 34:35
SPEAKER_00: I don't have to like push it out or force it out.
• 34:38
SPEAKER_00: It's just it's present, it wants to be seen.
• 34:41
SPEAKER_00: Um, and yeah, sometimes it's the most random, it'll be like a little, little like point in like my calf or something.
• 34:48
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, what is it?
• 34:49
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but I'm I witness it.
• 34:51
  SPEAKER_00: I I feel that it's there.
• 34:53
SPEAKER_00: I don't know what it's trying to tell me right now.
• 34:54
SPEAKER_00: But so I do like that, like kind of just like really like giving yourself the time, even if it's 30 seconds, a minute, right, to come inside and just kind of like explore your body.
• 35:04
SPEAKER_00: So I think it's like so important.
• 35:06
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 35:07
SPEAKER_04: And you might, if you're open to this, you might even turn towards whether it's you know, this the spot in the throat or the chest or that that place in your calf and turn towards it and and say, you know, like I see you, I feel you, I notice you, and I'm here for you.
• 35:28
SPEAKER_04: And whenever you're ready to communicate with me, and this has to be true, of course, if if it's not true for you, don't say it.
• 35:36
SPEAKER_04: But like, I feel you, I see you, I notice you, and I'm here for you.
• 35:41
SPEAKER_04: Whenever you want to communicate with me, or if there's something that you need to tell me, or there's something you want to share with me, I'm open.
• 35:48
SPEAKER_04: And it doesn't have to be right now, but I just want to let you know that I'm open and I'm willing for whenever, whenever you're ready.
• 35:56
SPEAKER_04: I'm kind of like we would, you know, we would with a kid, right?
• 35:59
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:00
SPEAKER_04: We are we're building a relationship, and and I feel like so often we get into the body and we're like, I want to have the the the most connected relationship.
• 36:09
SPEAKER_04: And it's like if you were to meet somebody at your yoga class, you know, you wouldn't be like, Hey, do you want to be my bridesmaid?
• 36:16
  SPEAKER_05: That'd be so weird.
• 36:18
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:19
SPEAKER_05: You know, you'd be like, Hey, you want to grab a coffee?
• 36:23
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:24
  SPEAKER_05: Like baby steps, right?
• 36:26
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:27
  SPEAKER_05: That's funny.
• 36:29
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:30
SPEAKER_00: I like for me, and I, you know, I've talked about a lot in the podcast, but my my trauma comes from relationships.
• 36:35
SPEAKER_00: And so, like anywhere else in life, like I'm good, I I'm so calm, I can be chill, I'm regulated.
• 36:40
SPEAKER_00: But as soon as anything, like I'm dating somebody, literally I was laughing because like that's what I'm like, right?
• 36:46
SPEAKER_00: Where it's like I meet someone, they show a little interest.
• 36:47
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, what's the next step?
• 36:48
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, okay, calm down.
• 36:49
SPEAKER_00: Like it doesn't, you know, but that's my own practice, and that's where a lot of like um I still hold my own.
• 36:56
SPEAKER_00: It comes up a lot.
• 36:57
SPEAKER_00: And it's that to me is my most challenging area.
• 37:00
SPEAKER_00: And that to me is where um, you know, I sometimes avoid dating because it's painful.
• 37:05
SPEAKER_00: But then, like I was just journaling on 2026, and I one of my one of my goals this year is to actually date more and to have fun doing it without an outcome in mind.
• 37:14
SPEAKER_00: Like I don't need anything out of it.
• 37:16
SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, you're right, you know, even with whether it's with your body or a child or anything, you know, it's like it is just like it that the process of just being with it and letting it kind of like happen when it happens.
• 37:28
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 37:28
SPEAKER_04: And I want to celebrate you for a moment because you named that it was practiced.
• 37:33
SPEAKER_04: And and for something to be practiced, it means that you can also then choose to practice something else.
• 37:39
  SPEAKER_04: Right?
• 37:40
SPEAKER_04: It's not just who you are.
• 37:42
SPEAKER_04: It's not that, oh, I'm just needy.
• 37:44
SPEAKER_04: Oh, I just jumped to the oh, I'm it's just who I am.
• 37:47
SPEAKER_04: It's just no, it's practiced inside of me.
• 37:50
SPEAKER_00: So that means I can practice something else.
• 37:52
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 37:53
SPEAKER_00: Well, that's why I think you know, your first one recognize, I think that's so like I mean, that's the first step, right?
• 38:00
  SPEAKER_00: Like anything.
• 38:01
SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, even 2025 was so challenging for so many reasons.
• 38:06
SPEAKER_00: But I feel like personally, it was like a year that made me so aware of my patterns for different reasons, right?
• 38:13
SPEAKER_00: It was just like the universe was like, you're gonna face all of this this year, and you're just gonna have to like sit with it.
• 38:18
SPEAKER_00: And so it allowed me to get to a point where even though I feel uncomfortable for things now, or I notice things, or those old narratives come up, or I want to resist and all those things where I can actually just be like, okay, I I recognize that this is happening, but it's not the story I currently choose, you know.
• 38:35
SPEAKER_00: And I think that um, you know, emotions and thoughts are really hard to detach.
• 38:41
SPEAKER_00: So, you know, it's like we'll have an emotion, or you know, whichever way it happens, whether the thought comes first or the emotion comes first.
• 38:47
SPEAKER_00: I think sometimes like the chicken of the egg, I don't know, you know, but it's like whichever comes first, they're both, they both can be really overwhelming, right?
• 38:54
SPEAKER_00: Like sometimes I don't necessarily like I'll have like a physical, and I know that's where my trauma is, right in my body, but I'll have like a physical sensation that I'm just like it's so overwhelming, and then the mind latches on, and it's like I have to like get this out.
• 39:06
SPEAKER_00: So, like, how do we or how do you work with people, right?
• 39:09
SPEAKER_00: To like kind of get through that because um it's easy to detach when we're in a neutral regulated space and we feel safe, right?
• 39:16
SPEAKER_00: It can be like, okay, I can recognize, I don't have to believe everything my mind thinks, but like when you're in it, it's it can be really hard.
• 39:22
SPEAKER_04: It can be very hard, absolutely.
• 39:25
SPEAKER_04: And so for this work, it's best to practice preventatively.
• 39:32
SPEAKER_04: So one of the lineages that I'm well trained, well practiced in is a Strozy lineage of somatics.
• 39:38
SPEAKER_04: And they have a saying where it's like we get 300 reps in just to like build that relationship with it, but we need 3,000 reps to embody that when we're under pressure.
• 39:52
  SPEAKER_01: Wow.
• 39:53
SPEAKER_04: So it's and those I feel like those numbers are totally varied because I've had clients not need 3,000 repetitions.
• 40:01
SPEAKER_04: I haven't needed 3,000 repetitions to behave differently under pressure.
• 40:05
SPEAKER_04: But just to illustrate the point of this is why we practice when we're not under pressure.
• 40:11
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 40:11
SPEAKER_04: So that when there is pressure, we have that somatic memory of going, oh wait, I actually have a lived experience of something else that I can call on in this moment.
• 40:21
  SPEAKER_04: Right?
• 40:22
SPEAKER_04: We're creating new neural pathways every single time that we show up in a certain way.
• 40:29
SPEAKER_04: And every time we show up in that way, we wire them, we rewire them, and we make them stronger.
• 40:34
SPEAKER_04: So it's easier to access under pressure.
• 40:38
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 40:39
SPEAKER_00: What does your like day-to-day practice look like?
• 40:46
SPEAKER_04: It changes every maybe three to six-ish months, kind of depending on what I'm working with and working towards.
• 40:54
SPEAKER_04: Um, so around the spring equinox every year, I create what I call a declaration.
• 40:59
SPEAKER_04: So I do not do New Year's resolutions, but I do a spring equinox declaration every year.
• 41:04
SPEAKER_04: And so I move towards something of my choosing throughout.
• 41:11
SPEAKER_04: And the year is usually like until November, December, and then I hiatus for the winter.
• 41:18
SPEAKER_04: Um, so right now it looks like a lymphatic practice and a myofascial release practice.
• 41:28
SPEAKER_04: And that will change just depending on, you know, I do usually like two or three different places that just feeling cold.
• 41:35
SPEAKER_04: So maybe my quads or my belly or my traps.
• 41:38
SPEAKER_04: Um, and then I've been doing the last many months is what's called temple bowl.
• 41:45
SPEAKER_04: And so it's a practice of holding whatever it is I choose to be holding.
• 41:51
SPEAKER_04: So I'm in like a goddess pose or a horse pose, like a yogi squat, and arms are up, and it's about five minutes of this.
• 42:02
SPEAKER_04: So it you feel the pressure of holding yourself up and holding all of this for some time.
• 42:08
SPEAKER_04: And I might, you know, place things in, and then I'll name the things that I want to be holding and containing.
• 42:17
SPEAKER_04: And then I also might enter in, oh, there's a surprise here, and this is a bigger surprise coming in, and like, okay, let me hold this surprise with all the things that I'm holding.
• 42:27
SPEAKER_04: Um, so that one and another one that I've been in deep practice of over the last few months is a practice that's called two-step.
• 42:37
SPEAKER_04: So, how do we center and change?
• 42:39
SPEAKER_04: Center and change, how do we keep moving and changing, but staying centered as we change, as we change, as the world around us changes?
• 42:49
SPEAKER_04: How do we stay centered?
• 42:50
SPEAKER_04: How do we move in a place that feels rhythmic and aligned and not rushed, but also not checked out or dissociated or numb?
• 42:59
SPEAKER_04: Um, and how do we how do we be that version of ourselves that can show up authentically and aligned even as chaos happens?
• 43:11
SPEAKER_04: So those are my like morning practices.
• 43:13
SPEAKER_04: And then I have other practices that I might need throughout the day as my nervous system is like, oh baby.
• 43:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love that.
• 43:24
SPEAKER_00: I think that yeah, having like, you know, a morning and an evening routine is has become so important for myself, but also like being able to flow with it, you know, like when I go on vacation and I don't get those in, it's like, okay, what can I actually do in this moment?
• 43:37
SPEAKER_00: Like journaling has become my favorite thing.
• 43:39
SPEAKER_00: Like, even if I'm on vacation, I can find a spot outside, right?
• 43:42
SPEAKER_00: Or like I sit on like, so that's like not, you know, that has been like so helpful to me, but that's not necessarily somatic.
• 43:48
SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, I I used to do yoga a lot.
• 43:51
SPEAKER_00: Like used to do yoga, but it was more, I think I was using it as like fitness than any sort of like energetic.
• 43:58
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think I was still getting the benefit.
• 44:00
SPEAKER_00: Of it, but it was like I went and I ran and then I did yoga and I did it like five days a week, and it was more like to build strength.
• 44:05
SPEAKER_00: But um it's definitely like a practice I've been feeling more called back to lately in a more like calm way, I guess.
• 44:13
SPEAKER_00: Not just like trying to like count the calories of like it's feeling.
• 44:18
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, and I think like you know, in global events right now in the world, it's so easy to just you know get sucked into the fear of everything that's happening.
• 44:30
SPEAKER_00: And you know, like you said kind of at the beginning, being aware of what you're consuming and more than just like your food because there's a lot of the media is not good, it's not good for us, in my opinion.
• 44:41
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 44:41
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean, and it's designed that way.
• 44:43
SPEAKER_04: It's I really do feel like the people in power are actively trying to make us scared and sick and separated from one another because they get more and more and more power that way.
• 44:57
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 44:58
SPEAKER_04: And the media is one way that definitely makes us very afraid.
• 45:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 45:04
SPEAKER_00: Can you speak a little bit to um, I think you know, a lot of the listeners are uh a little type A, more or so, like very high achieving and um, you know, entrepreneurs.
• 45:16
SPEAKER_00: And how do we use that sometimes as a maybe a mask or avoidance to like an underlying issue?
• 45:24
SPEAKER_00: I know in myself, right?
• 45:25
SPEAKER_00: Like it's you know, even my MG energy, it's like I have to like do more and I have to like in it's like keeping your time busy.
• 45:31
SPEAKER_00: And then sometimes when I get in cycles like that, consciously or not, right?
• 45:34
SPEAKER_00: Then I'll take a pause and like, oh, there's actually a lot that wants to be seen.
• 45:37
SPEAKER_00: I've just like packed things on.
• 45:40
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 45:41
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's a that's a great question because um, quote unquote a workaholic is one of the ways, a very common way that we can dissociate or run from or avoid ourselves and going deeper within ourselves.
• 45:59
SPEAKER_04: It's definitely something that I I was practiced at.
• 46:01
SPEAKER_04: I still am practice at.
• 46:02
SPEAKER_04: I still find myself like, oh, why am I so obsessed with this like imaginary deadline I've given myself when does it really need to be that quick?
• 46:14
SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, the first place I would go is invite you to like sit down with this tendency.
• 46:27
SPEAKER_04: And and and maybe it is sitting down, and maybe you're in a field, or maybe you're by a bonfire, maybe you're in a cave, or maybe you're walking on the beach.
• 46:34
SPEAKER_04: But like if we were to call that behavior, and so we I mean we could do this if you're open to it right now.
• 46:41
  SPEAKER_04: Sure.
• 46:41
  SPEAKER_04: A little taste.
• 46:42
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, sure.
• 46:44
SPEAKER_04: So if you feel for that habit, that tendency of working too much for you, what would that look like or feel like?
• 46:55
SPEAKER_00: It feels like almost frantic.
• 46:58
  SPEAKER_00: Frantic.
• 46:59
  SPEAKER_00: It's like I'm I'm chasing, right?
• 47:01
SPEAKER_00: Like I'm having to make the video or having to edit, or I'm having to fill my time, or I'm having to make sure I'm I'm an active participant, I guess, in like my business.
• 47:10
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 47:11
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 47:12
SPEAKER_04: So a sense of frantic chasing an active participant.
• 47:17
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 47:18
SPEAKER_04: And if there was a sensation or a movement or a shape that it takes, what might that be?
• 47:25
SPEAKER_00: I feel it like right here.
• 47:27
SPEAKER_00: It's like almost like, you know, those those images of like a ball of just like, I don't know, like chaos almost, right?
• 47:35
SPEAKER_00: Where they all do or like too many thoughts, and it's just like a stream of yeah, like that, kind of like buzzy is what I visualize.
• 47:42
  SPEAKER_04: Buzzy, yeah.
• 47:44
  SPEAKER_04: String, chaotic, yeah, buzzy.
• 47:47
SPEAKER_04: Is there a color associated with it?
• 47:50
  SPEAKER_04: Gray.
• 47:51
  SPEAKER_04: Gray?
• 47:51
SPEAKER_04: Is it a light gray or a dark gray?
• 47:54
SPEAKER_04: I see light gray, light gray, yeah, yeah.
• 47:58
SPEAKER_04: So if we could just let that be here for a moment, yeah.
• 48:02
SPEAKER_04: And if you want to close or soften your eyes, and you named it it was right around the heart space.
• 48:07
SPEAKER_04: If you want to put your hands on that place and really sense and feel that that urgent energy, this ball of chaos that's like gray.
• 48:20
SPEAKER_04: And letting that just be here with us for a moment.
• 48:27
SPEAKER_02: And letting this part of you know that it's here for a reason.
• 48:37
SPEAKER_02: And it's been doing this thing for how long would you say?
• 48:43
SPEAKER_00: Um I mean, in different ways, probably my entire life, but probably more so in the last six years.
• 48:50
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so it's been around your whole life, but even stronger in the last six years.
• 48:56
SPEAKER_04: So it's really practiced inside of you.
• 49:00
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 49:03
  SPEAKER_00: What was that?
• 49:04
SPEAKER_00: My son just knocked on the door, but it's okay.
• 49:06
SPEAKER_00: He was like, oh, she's still on the call.
• 49:11
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 49:12
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 49:16
SPEAKER_04: And if this part of you feels like maybe there's some other information that it wants to share right now, and it could be a memory, it could be a sensation, it could be a mantra.
• 49:31
SPEAKER_04: Like anything that feels present at this time right now.
• 49:40
SPEAKER_00: Like I can be in flow and things can still move.
• 49:45
SPEAKER_04: That voice that says you don't have to chase, that you can be in flow.
• 49:50
SPEAKER_04: Ask that part if this is the same urgent light gray ball of yarn, or is this a different part?
• 50:06
SPEAKER_01: I don't have like an immediate answer for that.
• 50:16
SPEAKER_04: So you're just holding this light gray urgent and holding that there's this voice that says you can be in flow and things will still move.
• 50:29
SPEAKER_04: And that both of these things are here right now.
• 50:34
SPEAKER_02: And what do you sense in your body as as you're holding both of these?
• 50:42
  SPEAKER_02: A little confusion.
• 50:43
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 50:45
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 50:46
  SPEAKER_02: Great.
• 50:46
  SPEAKER_02: Hi, confusion.
• 50:49
  SPEAKER_02: Welcome.
• 50:52
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 50:54
SPEAKER_04: And how is confusion showing up right now?
• 50:58
SPEAKER_00: Um It's just making me question if that's just the narrative that like I want to believe or I should believe, or that's kind of like spread right online or in the or if it's like actually like my truth.
• 51:12
  SPEAKER_04: Brilliant question, confusion.
• 51:14
SPEAKER_04: Thank you for bringing that up.
• 51:21
SPEAKER_04: And how's your breath in all of this with all of these three things happening?
• 51:27
  SPEAKER_04: Um it's I'm not sure.
• 51:31
SPEAKER_00: It feels like deeper maybe, but not like slower, if that makes sense.
• 51:36
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 51:37
SPEAKER_04: So the breath feels deeper and slower.
• 51:39
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 51:41
SPEAKER_04: Can you sense and feel your feet right now?
• 51:46
  SPEAKER_01: Great.
• 51:52
SPEAKER_01: Anything else that confusion wants to share with us?
• 51:58
SPEAKER_00: Just having like a little like a sensation of like, I wouldn't say dizziness, but maybe like a part of me is trying to disconnect.
• 52:06
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 52:07
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 52:08
SPEAKER_04: And if we were to ask that sensation of dizziness, that maybe potential of disconnection, is that the same as confusion or is that connected in some way?
• 52:20
  SPEAKER_04: Because it's shown.
• 52:21
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it feels like it's just uh like a fear of failure almost like this.
• 52:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 52:26
  SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah.
• 52:28
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 52:29
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 52:29
  SPEAKER_02: So that's here too.
• 52:31
  SPEAKER_02: That's your too.
• 52:33
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 52:35
SPEAKER_04: So this might be a really beautiful place to pause and just holding all of these four things that have shown up in just a couple of minutes.
• 52:43
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 52:43
SPEAKER_04: And we can start to feel how complex we are.
• 52:48
SPEAKER_04: And that each of the the living energies inside of us have different ideas and perspectives and desires and longings and behaviors.
• 52:59
SPEAKER_04: And so as we start to live in and give each one of them space, then we understand how we can befriend each one and bring them into the greater system instead of like them fighting each other behind the scenes.
• 53:14
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 53:17
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 53:18
SPEAKER_00: That was a yeah, it's a really beautiful practice.
• 53:20
  SPEAKER_00: I remember it it's IFS based.
• 53:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 53:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 53:25
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 53:25
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 53:26
SPEAKER_00: The first time I explored IFS was like uh probably about six years ago.
• 53:30
SPEAKER_00: Like it was the beginning of like my journey.
• 53:31
SPEAKER_00: And I remember all the things that came up, like my body, I just started like shaking.
• 53:36
SPEAKER_00: And I had never like experienced that before.
• 53:38
SPEAKER_00: And at the time the facilitator was like, Do you want to continue or not?
• 53:41
  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I don't know if I can.
• 53:43
SPEAKER_00: But like since, right, like kind of going in since then.
• 53:46
SPEAKER_00: It is like, you know, yeah, it's interesting.
• 53:49
SPEAKER_00: Even having done a lot of work on myself, just even the things that still come up.
• 53:52
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, huh, didn't realize that was still in there.
• 53:56
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 53:57
  SPEAKER_04: Really powerful work.
• 53:58
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 53:59
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 54:00
SPEAKER_04: And this is this is part of the recognize because we do, we got to recognize all of the energies and the emotions and the complexities that are all present and all informing your larger system.
• 54:12
SPEAKER_04: And then each one of them needs different resources.
• 54:17
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 54:18
SPEAKER_04: Each one of them has different experiences that it wants to release.
• 54:23
SPEAKER_04: Each one of them wants a different way of building capacity and building resilience.
• 54:31
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 54:32
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 54:33
SPEAKER_00: If you're doing it like um, like if you're doing this process, or if you do it, do you do it to yourself?
• 54:40
SPEAKER_04: Like on your when you're yeah, and typically I do it in my journal.
• 54:44
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 54:45
  SPEAKER_04: That makes sense.
• 54:46
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 54:46
SPEAKER_00: So I was to say, how long does that process like how long do you sit with each, um, with each part?
• 54:53
SPEAKER_04: It it depends because they will tell me yes or no, or I'm ready to move on, or yeah.
• 54:59
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 54:59
SPEAKER_04: But generally what I'll do is I'll find a song that's like 12 minutes long or 20 minutes long, or I'll have some container in that way.
• 55:07
SPEAKER_04: And um in either journal like in words, I also have a different, like an IFS-based journal that I have too that is more visual.
• 55:19
SPEAKER_04: Like I'll write a part in the center and then I'll start to map everything that's connected to it.
• 55:28
SPEAKER_04: And so I might only do this for 10 minutes.
• 55:31
SPEAKER_04: And then if you know, the next day I might choose a different part to focus on or enter right.
• 55:37
SPEAKER_04: And the part can be an emotion, it could be a sensation, it could be literally anything, it could be a memory.
• 55:43
SPEAKER_04: Um, or you know, when I come back, I might go back to a different day and continue to work with that family system, right?
• 55:53
  SPEAKER_04: That internal family system.
• 55:54
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 55:55
  SPEAKER_00: That's beautiful, beautiful practice.
• 55:58
SPEAKER_00: Are you familiar with astrology?
• 56:00
  SPEAKER_00: I am, yes.
• 56:02
SPEAKER_04: Okay, yeah, I'm not trained or anything in it, but I'm I'm familiar.
• 56:06
SPEAKER_04: I love it for myself.
• 56:07
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
• 56:08
SPEAKER_00: I mean, well, because you're are you okay with me sharing just a little piece of your chart?
• 56:12
SPEAKER_00: I would love that, yeah.
• 56:14
SPEAKER_00: But I was like, oh yes, yes, yes.
• 56:16
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 56:16
SPEAKER_00: So you're Pisces Sun, but you have an insane amount of planets in Capricorn, and it's a rising.
• 56:24
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you have like five or six planets there, and like there's so much.
• 56:27
SPEAKER_00: And I can see like even just like your green shirt and behind you is the there's it's such like earth energy, but yet like you have this like softness, like in speaking to you that it's really that like that Pisces that I think comes through.
• 56:40
SPEAKER_00: Um, and then a Gemini moon, which I feel like is so my son has a Gemini moon, and the questions are endless, and I love it too, because I'm just like he's just so curious, right?
• 56:49
SPEAKER_00: And just you know, I think like exploring all these things or like even working with the mind, right?
• 56:54
SPEAKER_00: I would think it's interesting because that's literally like emotionally what nourishes you, right?
• 56:59
SPEAKER_00: Is like using your mind or asking the questions, or um do you feel like this is always my thing with because I think in human design, though, you have a solar defined solar plexus, which is always such an interesting combination when you have an air moon and then a defined solar plexus because it's it's this piece of detachment, but yet you understand the mechanics of an emotion, like the wave, right?
• 57:22
SPEAKER_00: Um, a lot of people who have Capricorn moons, the Capricorns are very compartmentalized, they compartmentalize their emotions, right?
• 57:29
SPEAKER_00: But then with that solar plexus, like riding that wave.
• 57:32
SPEAKER_00: Um, have you found like, do you I I'm trying to form my question here with the Gemini moon, or how do you experience your Gemini moon?
• 57:42
SPEAKER_00: How do you feel like that shows up for you?
• 57:46
SPEAKER_04: One of probably first and foremost is my obsession with experiencing things, like my curiosity, and and as you named coming in, like my lips through certifications, multi-passionate entrepreneur, manifesting generator.
• 58:01
SPEAKER_04: I'm just like all the things all the time.
• 58:05
SPEAKER_04: Um and so that shows up.
• 58:08
SPEAKER_04: I'm like always training in things, always learning more things.
• 58:14
SPEAKER_04: Um, another way it shows up for me is my profession, the coaching.
• 58:18
SPEAKER_04: Like I am obsessed with getting to know deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and helping the person that I'm with have that be revealed to them through their own lived experience, their own embodied insight.
• 58:33
SPEAKER_04: Another way that it shows up that's paints a less lovely picture of me that I'll share is um I have a tendency, I have a practice, it's very practice inside of me to jump from thing to thing, like respond probably too quickly and not move from center, which is hence my my two-step practice.
• 58:58
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 58:59
  SPEAKER_04: And moving from center.
• 59:02
SPEAKER_04: Um oh, and there was one other thing that I wanted to share around the Gemini moon, but it's evading me right now, so I guess it was not important.
• 59:12
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 59:14
  SPEAKER_00: Well, I love it.
• 59:15
SPEAKER_00: I have my Venus in Gemini.
• 59:16
SPEAKER_00: So I feel like just emotional, or like I'm very attracted to like uh just Gemini people in general, or people who have Gemini like really prominent in their chart, because I love the I find that Gemini, I I feel like Gemini gets a little bit of a bad reputation because it is like flighty and it's like it, I don't know, people are like, oh, it's surface level, and it's like Gemini is not surface level in my experience.
• 59:39
SPEAKER_00: Like Gemini can be surface level, right?
• 59:42
SPEAKER_00: Like you could have conversations about like the the you know, the weather, like whatever, but the ability to go deep is actually really beautiful.
• 59:50
SPEAKER_00: Like I because it's it comes from that curiosity place, right?
• 59:54
SPEAKER_00: And I also find that Geminis, because they're kind of so uh like their mind is not scattered, but they just have a lot of curiosities and like you said, obsessions about like different things.
• 1:00:04
SPEAKER_00: They have this beautiful ability to like perceive things from all different perspectives, like they're open to that.
• 1:00:09
SPEAKER_00: So the curiosity I love, and I always try.
• 1:00:12
SPEAKER_00: I mean, with the podcast, right?
• 1:00:13
SPEAKER_00: That's like one of my um like goals in anyone that I speak to is like I just want to come with curiosity and not opinions or perspectives or you know, just like keep it open.
• 1:00:25
SPEAKER_00: I mean, like I share things about myself, but I just I'm so fascinated with learning.
• 1:00:29
SPEAKER_00: Just like it's so, and you know, I have Chiron in Gemini, so maybe I just have a wounding there that I'm like, I have to heal this.
• 1:00:35
SPEAKER_00: Source to be open to everything.
• 1:00:38
SPEAKER_04: But yeah, oh, and you reminded me of the thing that I was gonna bring up is like the ability to hold complexity.
• 1:00:43
SPEAKER_04: I feel like I'm it feels very easy for me is to hold maybe opposing things as being true at the same time, and that just feels so easy and normal and natural for me.
• 1:00:55
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:00:55
SPEAKER_00: Um well, even you think of like all those three, right?
• 1:00:59
SPEAKER_00: Like water, air, and earth, and Capricorn earth at that.
• 1:01:02
SPEAKER_00: Capricorn is very like structured.
• 1:01:04
  SPEAKER_00: Let's do this, it's time-based, it's like let's make things make sense.
• 1:01:08
  SPEAKER_00: There's there's a time and a place for everything.
• 1:01:09
SPEAKER_00: Pisces is just like off in the clouds, and it's like, let's just, you know, the life is beautiful.
• 1:01:14
SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, then Gemini is just like everywhere.
• 1:01:18
SPEAKER_00: So it's a really like interesting like mix that you have, but it's like, I don't know.
• 1:01:22
SPEAKER_00: I just love that's one of the things that I love about astrology that's helped me in my journey is like the ability to it's it's not the thing, but like I find that it's helped me see myself and accept myself in a way that like no other tool really allowed me to, right?
• 1:01:37
SPEAKER_00: And like the complexities and like nuances of like everybody's chart, it's just like so amazing.
• 1:01:42
SPEAKER_00: People are like, Well, I'm a whatever, and I don't resonate with it at all.
• 1:01:45
  SPEAKER_00: I'm like, but there's so much.
• 1:01:46
SPEAKER_00: It would take like so long to like really peel back all the layers of like who you are through it, right?
• 1:01:51
SPEAKER_00: To just like slap on a like you're a Gemini son or you're a Pisces son, and like period, like, no, there's so much.
• 1:01:58
  SPEAKER_04: Right.
• 1:01:59
SPEAKER_04: And even, I mean, you have your big three, right?
• 1:02:01
SPEAKER_04: So it's like you can't even just talk about your son, and and even some, like, for example, the Channy app, all of her readings are based on your rising, not even your son.
• 1:02:11
  SPEAKER_04: Right.
• 1:02:12
SPEAKER_04: And so there's so many different ways of looking.
• 1:02:14
SPEAKER_04: And then, yeah, all of the like sextiles and all of those things are like, whoa, yeah.
• 1:02:20
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:02:21
SPEAKER_00: That's like one thing where uh have you heard of the modern wisdom podcast?
• 1:02:26
  SPEAKER_04: Modern wisdom podcast.
• 1:02:27
SPEAKER_00: Chris Williamson, I only just started listening to it recently.
• 1:02:30
  SPEAKER_00: It's kind of it's it's pretty interesting.
• 1:02:32
SPEAKER_00: But he was talking about, I think on like the most recent podcast, he was talking about uh he came up with this theory, I guess, between like discipline, um, obsession, and motivation.
• 1:02:41
SPEAKER_00: And he was saying, like, discipline is where like you force yourself to do something, right?
• 1:02:45
SPEAKER_00: Like, I have to do this, I'm gonna wake up and I'm whatever.
• 1:02:48
SPEAKER_00: Motivation, he said it kind of ebbs and flows because you'll feel feel motivated and like not, you know, but like obsession, he's like, you have no choice but to do that, which you know, he's like obsession will eventually like kind of fall away, but then the discipline and the will be in place because you were so like you couldn't sleep, you couldn't like eat without like doing this thing, right?
• 1:03:07
SPEAKER_00: So I'm just like I love the intensity, I like I love being upset.
• 1:03:11
SPEAKER_00: Like to me, that's astrology, is when I first learned astrology, but I'm like, it's seven years later and I'm still obsessed.
• 1:03:18
SPEAKER_00: And I think it's more just the obsession of like I felt so misunderstood and I didn't even know myself that to me, like helping other people see themselves through that tool is just that's what I'm obsessed with, you know.
• 1:03:31
SPEAKER_04: It's like, but yeah, anyway, I feel that with thematics.
• 1:03:36
SPEAKER_04: I'm yeah, six years in and I'm more obsessed than ever.
• 1:03:41
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:03:42
SPEAKER_00: I love it, and it's so um so important for us to like come back to that wisdom.
• 1:03:49
SPEAKER_00: Like you said, kind of at the beginning, that in childhood, like the feeling and like the emotions, um like the physical and the emotions, right?
• 1:03:55
SPEAKER_00: That but as kids, it's just like second nature, it's like a language to us that we like get, you know, taught out of or conditioned out of.
• 1:04:02
SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's so many times when I remember, even like with food, right?
• 1:04:04
SPEAKER_00: Where it's like your parents are like, eat everything on your plate, but you're like, I'm not hungry.
• 1:04:07
SPEAKER_00: Yes, you are, but I'm not, you know, like it's like that abandonment, I guess, of of what we know to be true is so important, I think, especially now for us to like come back to that.
• 1:04:18
SPEAKER_00: I keep saying, like, especially with Aquarius, right?
• 1:04:21
SPEAKER_00: Aquarius is like the rebel, but I think that for us, being authentic in a world that tells us who we should be is an act of rebellion, right?
• 1:04:30
SPEAKER_00: And so it's like right now, it's so important for us to come back to that authenticity of like who we are.
• 1:04:35
SPEAKER_00: So I think what you do is so beautiful in helping people like come into that place and just like make a connection with their body and understand, and even what we just did, like speaking to those parts of myself, right?
• 1:04:45
SPEAKER_00: It's like it's all there, and we're everything and we're we're all of it, right?
• 1:04:50
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know, it's beautiful.
• 1:04:52
SPEAKER_00: It is, it is, yeah.
• 1:04:55
SPEAKER_00: Is there anything that you want to leave people with that maybe you felt like we didn't talk about, or I feel like we you're so easy to talk to.
• 1:05:04
SPEAKER_04: I was just like, I feel like I talk more than you did, but um, oh my I mean, I yes and no.
• 1:05:16
SPEAKER_04: There is um, there's not one thing in particular because then there would be 12 things.
• 1:05:22
SPEAKER_04: Um so no, I would just invite whomever to like come hang out with me on Instagram or Substack and yeah, or resource too if people want to have practical tools to to hop in and and and most of the practices that are in there are like five to 10 minutes, because that's that's really all it takes.
• 1:05:42
SPEAKER_04: You know, one of my teachers, Dr.
• 1:05:44
SPEAKER_04: Arielle Schwartz, you know, she's a big proponent of like you have a you know a longer practice in the morning, but it's 10, 15, 20 minutes, and then five practices throughout the day that are two minutes long, right?
• 1:05:58
SPEAKER_04: So so many of the practices in Of resourced are meant for you to, they're so accessible that you'll learn them on your own, which is what I want.
• 1:06:08
SPEAKER_04: Like, I want that you don't need me.
• 1:06:10
SPEAKER_04: I want that you don't need resource.
• 1:06:11
SPEAKER_04: I want that, like it's just you, baby.
• 1:06:14
SPEAKER_04: Like you got you, you are your stress healer.
• 1:06:17
SPEAKER_04: Um, that they're so easy to remember that you can just do them.
• 1:06:21
SPEAKER_04: But yeah, no, I just say come hang out with me on Instagram, Substack.
• 1:06:25
SPEAKER_04: And I would love to chat with you again because yeah, they're so good.
• 1:06:29
  SPEAKER_00: Talk more about.
• 1:06:30
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know.
• 1:06:31
SPEAKER_00: Well, you're definitely welcome back anytime.
• 1:06:33
SPEAKER_00: And I will leave all the links uh for people to find you on Instagram and and all the places down below in the show notes.
• 1:06:38
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, thank you so much again for coming here and having this conversation.
