- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:38Hi, it's Adam here. Now I'm going to say a word and
- 0:42I want you to think about what that word means to you.
- 0:45And that word is worthy. And I want you to think on a
- 0:49scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being absolute worthy worthiness and
- 0:56you're, you couldn't be more worthy.
- 0:58And one you've got low levels of self worth, genuinely, where do
- 1:03you put yourself on that scale of 1 to 10?
- 1:07And the reason I ask? You that question.
- 1:09Is because the client that I was working with has spent a
- 1:12lifetime of pleasing other people.
- 1:16Treating themselves like a second.
- 1:18Class Citizen putting other people's needs and wishes above
- 1:22their own and not doing anything for themselves unless it had
- 1:27some kind of justification. If it was for health reasons or
- 1:29educational reasons, then they might spend some money on
- 1:32themselves, but if it didn't do that then they wouldn't allow
- 1:36themselves to indulge in just good experiences or nice things.
- 1:41They didn't feel worthy. And this hypnosis session is all
- 1:45about activating that level of worthiness.
- 1:49So I want you to think like, is it generally in life that you
- 1:53don't feel worthy or is it contextual?
- 1:56Is it certain things that in your workplace or in the gym or
- 2:00somewhere else you don't feel worthy in that maybe it's around
- 2:04certain people. You act a bit like a second
- 2:07class citizen. I want you to think of where you
- 2:09don't feel worthy so that when you listen to this hypnosis.
- 2:13Session we can. Tap into what it would mean for
- 2:16you to be absolutely worthy in that context that you currently
- 2:22don't feel worthy and worthiness is just a word to represent self
- 2:27worth. And if you think about what
- 2:29worthy means, you can think of it as almost like an invisible
- 2:32barrier. It's what you do or don't have
- 2:34permission to do so. Some people.
- 2:38Would feel that they're not allowed to create a video and
- 2:43put it on social media. And share their opinions.
- 2:45Who are they to kind of share their thoughts that would mean
- 2:48that they perceived that in that context, they're not worthy and
- 2:51there's other people that are better.
- 2:53Placed to do that. I've worked with people that
- 2:56wouldn't go into a gym. Because they don't feel that
- 3:00they. Belong in a gym.
- 3:01They're not worthy to be in a gym, whereas other people
- 3:05completely feel that if they want to be in a gym, they can be
- 3:07in a gym and there's certain places that.
- 3:10People don't feel. Allowed.
- 3:12And these are invisible barriers.
- 3:14They're not real, they're just based on belief systems.
- 3:17So this is about tearing up that contract as to what it means to
- 3:21be worthy and to start thinking of what would you do for
- 3:25yourself if you felt 100% worthy?
- 3:29What would you buy yourself? Where would you take yourself?
- 3:31What would you do? And the way that it's worth
- 3:35thinking about that is to not just treat yourself because you
- 3:39want to, but to think that that is an expression of a new
- 3:42identity built around worthiness.
- 3:45So rather than just going on a holiday, if you haven't taken
- 3:48yourself on a holiday, you always wanted to travel, but you
- 3:51thought you couldn't justify it, the travel then becomes an
- 3:54expression of a worthy identity more so than just a holiday.
- 3:59So start thinking of it in those terms now.
- 4:02The best way to experience this is to find a really quiet,
- 4:06comfortable place, The kind of place where you're not going to
- 4:08get distracted, no one's going to interrupt you or stop you
- 4:12midway through. And to find a comfortable place,
- 4:15maybe a bed, a sofa, nice comfy chair to relax.
- 4:19And enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in and as you
- 4:51breathe in, breathe in that resourceful feeling of calm
- 4:57relaxation. And as you exhale, feel a sense
- 5:07of release, as if any tension, restrictions or rules that have
- 5:16been confining you are dissolving and leaving your body
- 5:22in that outward breath. That's it.
- 5:31Eyelids getting heavier, neck and shoulders starting to relax
- 5:38even more. That's it.
- 5:41And the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you feel.
- 5:51And the more relaxed you feel, the deeper you breathe.
- 5:57Consider it a flywheel of relaxation.
- 6:03Because the more relaxed you are, breathing slows down,
- 6:09thoughts slow down, and sometimes what awakens, there's
- 6:16a whole new level of imagination.
- 6:24And there was a time when you were a child reading a book or
- 6:31playing with toys. You created a whole universe
- 6:38from within your imagination and not from trying.
- 6:46It just came naturally. So let's awaken those neural
- 6:52pathways from your childhood that really knows how to
- 6:56imagine. That's it.
- 7:01And I wonder if you can imagine you're about to board a flight,
- 7:15not to go anywhere, to learn they're not for healing and not
- 7:20for a meeting. I want you to imagine your bags
- 7:25are packed and you're about to fly just because you want to.
- 7:31I want you to feel that energy of checking in, going through
- 7:38security, waiting on that departure lounge.
- 7:44Something feels indulgent. You're doing something simply
- 7:54because you desire to. I want you to imagine boarding
- 8:02that plane, reclining the chair, and drifting off into a
- 8:11wonderful, dreamlike sleep. I want you to get a sense.
- 8:17Then every outward breath takes you deeper, relaxed.
- 8:26Then in your inward breath, you're breathing in a feeling of
- 8:31concentrated worthiness. And as you exhale, you are
- 8:39releasing any feelings of unworthiness.
- 8:47And as you breathe in, notice how long it's been since you've
- 8:54given yourself permission to simply exist as you are without
- 9:02earning it. Not because you have to be
- 9:08someone or do something, but simply because you are.
- 9:16And as you breathe out, let go of the idea that your worth must
- 9:22be proven through effort, sacrifice, or usefulness.
- 9:30Remember, that old contract has been ripped up.
- 9:35That old rule, that old belief has expired, become null and
- 9:43void. And as your breathing finds its
- 9:49own rhythm, imagine that old internal contract you remember,
- 10:00the one, the contract written long ago without your consent.
- 10:05That's said, I must think of others first.
- 10:12My needs come last, my desires are optional, and rest, pleasure
- 10:20and indulgence must be justified.
- 10:27And you could think of this contract as words or as an image
- 10:32or simply a weight that you've been carrying.
- 10:39But I won't need to dawn on you that you've left this contract
- 10:43behind and you're travelling on that plane without it.
- 10:51So in this moment, you don't need to argue with that old
- 10:57contract. You don't need to analyse it or
- 11:01dispute it, just recognize it for what it is.
- 11:08Outdated, inherited and most of all something that is no longer
- 11:15binding. You are free of those old rules,
- 11:26and I want you to imagine wherever that old contract was
- 11:30left, there is a younger version of you that finds it.
- 11:38And imagine them tearing that contract in half.
- 11:43Not angrily, not dramatically, just calmly, decisively, because
- 11:52it no longer describes who you are.
- 11:59And as you imagine sinking deeper into that chair on that
- 12:03flight, notice something useful that you are no longer asking
- 12:12for permission to want what you want.
- 12:19I want you to start feeling that permission belongs to children
- 12:26and identity belongs to adults and from this moment on you're
- 12:36not someone who occasionally allows them self pleasure.
- 12:42I want you to imagine fully embracing a new identity of
- 12:49someone who is worthy and not worthy of something or
- 12:56occasional things. Worthy one word, and let that
- 13:05word settle into your body now. Worthy as you breathe in, feel
- 13:13like you are worthy. As you exhale any remnants of
- 13:20unworthiness leave your body. And as you say to yourself, I am
- 13:27worthy. Notice how your shoulders
- 13:31respond to that word, and notice how your chest opens, and notice
- 13:37how your breath deepens. Worthy doesn't beg.
- 13:45Worthy doesn't justify, and worthy doesn't need to explain
- 13:51their actions. Worthy chooses.
- 13:58Imagine landing perhaps in London, maybe in Paris, and
- 14:06imagine taking a train to the lavender fields of spring or
- 14:13summer. And imagine you're standing at
- 14:19the edge of that huge field of all of that lavender, a soft
- 14:25purple stretching endlessly ahead of you, the scent warm and
- 14:31calming, the air big with stillness.
- 14:42Your unconscious will decide if you feel like you're in
- 14:44Hampshire or the sun washed fields of Provence and notice
- 14:52something subtle but powerful. This isn't a healing, recovering
- 15:01journey and you're not here because you worked hard enough
- 15:10and you're not here to learn about lavender.
- 15:14You are here because this is what a worthy person does.
- 15:22Travel is not a reward. Travel is evidence.
- 15:30Evidence that you trust yourself, evidence that you
- 15:34honor and desire, and evidence that you no longer live at the
- 15:41bottom of your own priority list.
- 15:47So imagine walking through the fields of Lavender, arms
- 15:54extended outwards, and just imagine the sensation of those
- 16:00lavender petals going through your fingers as you walk through
- 16:05the fields. And then imagine bringing the
- 16:10fingertips to your nose and just smelling that lavender.
- 16:16The smell, the sensation, the colours, every step you take
- 16:23through the lavender anchors this truth deeper.
- 16:28You are worthy. And from this point forward,
- 16:34whenever you see The Color Purple or smell the scent of
- 16:39lavender, you will feel worthy as a constant reminder of
- 16:51something that was always true. It's only now that you claim it.
- 17:01And if at some point an old thought, a voice appears.
- 17:07Do I really deserve this? Welcome that voice.
- 17:13Allow it to finish the sentence properly, because the moment
- 17:20that thought appears, your mind can extend that into a
- 17:27conversation. Do I really deserve this?
- 17:30Of course, because I deserve it. Not emotionally and not
- 17:38defensively. Matter of fact.
- 17:42Like gravity, Like breathing. Any doubts, any questions?
- 17:53Imagine that tonality of Because I want to, Because I'm worthy,
- 18:01Because I deserve this, because I choose to.
- 18:07You are reclaiming who you were all along, someone that was
- 18:17always worthy. From this point forward, your
- 18:26mind begins to recognize evidence of worthiness
- 18:30everywhere. A gift you buy yourself simply
- 18:35because you want to. A dinner in a restaurant or a
- 18:40meal chosen purely for pleasure. Time taken for yourself without
- 18:46explanation or justification. Rest without guilt.
- 18:52Each act of self love becomes a signal, the signal that this new
- 18:59identity is taking hold. And you don't question it.
- 19:06You don't overthink it. You simply notice.
- 19:13You notice that you are living as someone who is worthy, and
- 19:19the more often you notice it, the more natural it becomes.
- 19:25And I don't know if it will be in days or weeks or months, but
- 19:30one day it will be second nature and something will happen.
- 19:38You're given a compliment, a gift, a gesture, and it feels
- 19:44effortless to receive it. And at that point, it's simply
- 19:53who you are. That's why I want you to imagine
- 20:00something you do for yourself over the next few days.
- 20:05Perhaps a gift that you were given but never claimed.
- 20:10Perhaps something longer? Like arranging a holiday, a trip
- 20:15just for you, I want you to imagine that future version of
- 20:24you making choices from desire, not obligation, selecting
- 20:31experiences without mental negotiation, travelling,
- 20:36resting, indulging without apology.
- 20:42And others may still live by sacrifice, but you no longer
- 20:46confuse sacrifice with virtue. You accept that you are
- 20:54fulfilled and worthy, and that version of you feels that
- 21:05yourself worth is so high that you have permanent permission to
- 21:11do whatever you choose to do to express that feeling of self
- 21:18worth. And when your unconscious fully
- 21:24accepts this new identity, let me know by nodding your head.
- 21:34That's in and there'll be a location within your body that
- 21:38feels like the spring of all of that worthiness, maybe your
- 21:42heart, maybe somewhere else that's in and imagine it flowing
- 21:49with unlimited worthiness, perhaps in the color lavender.
- 21:56That's in. It's time to take yourself back
- 22:00to the present now, taking all of this worthiness with you.
- 22:06And as you awaken, you will awaken feeling.
- 22:09But you are worthy. So take a deep breath in through
- 22:14your nose and out through your nose.
- 22:19Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes, connect and calibrate into
- 22:23the here and the now as I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to
- 22:28awaken you. Starting to count 123 Waking up
- 22:34456. More alert 7-8 Open your eyes.
- 22:39Open your eyes 910. Wide awake, Wide awake.
