- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Hi guys.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: So before Fergus Friday starts, I wanted to just chime in and really kind of um hone in on a point that was brought up in this conversation that I think is so, so special and important.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Now, especially with the holidays coming up, I know a lot of us are gonna be shopping for candles and beautiful scents for our homes and just you know to liven the mood and to really put us in the mood for the holidays.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: So with that being said, I really want to introduce this concept of true luxury scents and candles as opposed to other brands or other um um you know subcategories in this room.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: So I think that that's very important because um oftentimes a lot of brands that are truly luxury candle brands kind of get buried down, you know, they get pushed down a little bit in terms of the popularity, and I and I really hate saying that because, for example, this brand that I have interviewed today, and you know, Sebasti brand is just oh my goodness, it's truly brilliant.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: It's it's made for people who you know, it's made for for you if you really enjoy fragrances that remind you of different places on the on the planet, you know.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: If you've traveled to, you know, the Mediterranean, or if you've traveled to the east, or anywhere, you know, it it brings you back to that moment, and it's not just about memories, but it's about setting a mood for a room, you know, or wherever the space is that you're lighting this candle in, and not to mention the brand, you know, um, it's it's made so that it's a very it's a very luxury brand.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: And so I think it's very important for us to differentiate this category of of candles, you know, luxury versus um, you know, just everyday uh brands of candles.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: I think that's a really, really important differentiation.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: So I urge everybody to really consider that as you're listening to the episode.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: These are some of my favorite candles, and I love them so much, and they're so long-lasting, that's what I mean.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: I mean it's just a different kind of experience.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Um, especially if you're a candle lover, you're gonna notice it immediately.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: So definitely check out the brand as you're listening in, and also last but not least, I am really excited for this.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Um, we are making Fridays a um beautiful email split right down the middle between fragrance Fridays and finishing Fridays.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: So I'm really excited to announce that we have our first ever finishing brand that will be coming onto the show, and I'm so excited to introduce you guys to them, and it's gonna be so lovely.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: My goal is to really host um, you know, lines and creators and designers that are really uh doing something new and innovative in the information space.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Um, it's definitely going to be you know quality products that we all just don't really hear about, you know, kind of fashion brands that are around, uh especially global brands, you know.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: I always say that I love I love this, I love you know Italian designers, I love Copenhagen designers, I love you know, just there's so many different areas of the world that I think are such standout um hubs of fashion.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: So I can't wait to bring those to you.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: So for all of my PM friends listening in, please send me your pictures.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: I am totally open to them, and I can't wait to make this an even better um Friday feature for you guys.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: So stay tuned, and I hope you love this Fragrance Friday episode.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: Thanks, guys.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: Hi guys, welcome back to the Fragrance Friday special, and I'm uh excited to introduce you guys to a wonderful candle brand that I've been really enjoying lately.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Um the brand's name is Boheem, and the founder is with us today, Sadaf Rani.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show, Sadaf.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to host you.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much, Akta.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to be here.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I uh I want to get started.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: I would love to learn about you and how you got into the candle space and really what inspired you to go into this direction.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, just get us started with, I guess, a walk down memory lane.
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: So the inspiration came from my passion and love for fragrance in general.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: Um, fragrance is powerful.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: And I remember uh when I was very young, uh back from where I come from, I remember smelling an a small little ball of perfume in my aunt's drawer that had been imported from the US.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: And I was maybe about five or six, and I just remember it being like this magical experience because it just smelled so unique and powerful, and I wasn't sure exactly what I was feeling.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: And as I've moved through life, I realized how much scent or fragrance plays a role in memory and nostalgia and even your self-image.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: It's a part of self-care and you know, where whether it's aromatherapy or utilizing fragrance to um uh create an ambiance in your home on your or your general environment.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: So that in itself played a big role in terms of uh my love for fragrance and and perfume.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: Um I personally love candles.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: I love the fact that it's they make such a it's such an integral part of self-care, how they make you feel.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: Um and I am I'm also a really big believer in travel.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Uh to me, travel is education, right?
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: And um I was trying to figure out how to merge all of these things together, and uh wanting a lifestyle brand is something that I wanted to kind of head towards, and candles seemed uh a wonderful uh introduction to uh the uh arena of um of um of a lifestyle brand, and um that's exactly that's about how it came about.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: Um I can go into the inspiration behind the brand, but I I don't want to keep rambling.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: But this is basically my inspiration came from fragrance just growing up and what a vital role it it played in um in nostalgia.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: No, I I think fragrance is definitely, you know, the whole idea here is to discuss the fragrance because I I think that it's a very interesting field of um, you know, study when it comes to neurology.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Um I was speaking to one of the most um leading ladies in fragrance, uh, you know, Sue Sue Phillips, and we were discussing how she's treated so many people who have lost their scent, and that was just through her custom blends of fragrance and really working with them.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: So I think it's definitely an area that needs a lot more um research and understanding.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: And I think I completely agree with you, everything you said about how there's a lot of um, you know, value in fragrances, and there's a lot of value in um really understanding how they work and how they can bring you back to a moment, whether it's in the past or something you imagine, you know, while you're meditating or whatever that is for you.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: Um, I think it's it's very powerful.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: And I think it's interesting that you that you mentioned candles, because I think candles have been our most, at least in the most recent years, you know, in the recent decades, they've been the best way for us to expose ourselves to um different types of scents that we do enjoy.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: And I know that that's actually led to people making decisions on what they prefer and, like, for example, perfumes or colognes, you know, they might have a candle that they really enjoy, and that leads them down the road of, well, I would love to see this, you know, bottled up and something I can wear on a daily basis.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: So I know there's a lot of um, you know, interconnection there when it comes to fragrance in the fragrance world, when it comes to just candles, and then also translating that into the actual perfumes and colognes that we utilize.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: So um, you know, that leads me to my next question, which is your your scents are very unique.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: I really, really love the grand because um the scents are very unique in terms of candles.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: You know, I think most candle companies they stick to like, you know, like the seasonal scents, like vanilla or you know, something sweet for the fall and winter time or whatever.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: But it's like I think with yours, I I find it to be interesting because you brought up your travel uh aspect, right?
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: And I think that's very unique um because they definitely remind me of the different places I've been to in the world, you know.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: Um, I definitely feel that I can it definitely comes across to me as a consumer, um, what you said.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: So um that's very interesting.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: And I'd love for you to dive into how you found these different scents and how you formulated them.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: You know, what was the process like for you?
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: So I would love to answer that because that's my passion right there.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: And I 100% agree with you that a lot of candle scents that we've been exposed to have been kind of um the basics, like you see a lot of like vanilla and oak moss or teakwood, or you know, the scents are very kind of um uh one-dimensional uh for lack of a better word.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: Um, I wanted to approach the the concept of um scenting our candles from a from a true perfumery perspective.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: So when you talk to fragrance makers or or you know, their curation houses that basically uh work with complex fragrances.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: Um so when we reached uh reached out to our our fragrance house, uh I made sure that a lot of thought and effort was put into creating notes that were multifaceted and multidimensional.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: So on our boxes, you will see that there are there's a top, middle, and bottom note.
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: Um, that's exactly how perfume is um interpreted.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: You know, when you spray a perfume, you will initially smell the first few notes.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: And then as that evaporates, you will smell like kind of like the the meat of the fragrance.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: And then what's left over on your skin are your bottom notes.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: So that's exactly how we approach the fragrance for our candles.
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: So that's why you'll see nine to ten notes in our candle sense.
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: So they're complex, and you're never gonna be able to say that, oh, I'm I'm burning this new vanilla candle, you know.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: So if you look at Istanbul, um, the goal was to really capture the essence of the city, you know, like the grand bazaar, the spices, the the the Turkish rose, you know, and kind of blend all of that together into a very nuanced, complex fragrance that when you burn it, you don't really know exactly what you're smelling, but you're getting hints of the rose, you're getting hints of the cardamom.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: And um that creates, I believe, a more elevated and more um um yeah, elevated experience when it comes to you know scenting your surrounding.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: And that complexity in the fragrance also really plays with your mind because you're not really sure exactly what you're smelling, but it's it's fascinating.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Um and and you smell different notes at different times.
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: So we really approached it with a lot of thought and effort and worked very closely with with our fragrance house.
- 11:41SPEAKER_02: And I mentioned Istanbul and the similar, you know, the same exact uh uh work we put into the other nine cents that we did that we developed, you know.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: If it was Tahiti, then there's a lot of aspects to being on the beach.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: It's not just about the water, you know, it's what their natural flower, what their you know, flowers are that they're known for, um sea salt, um you know, just just the smell and the air in general.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: And like how do you create a fragrance that really embodies that that town, that city, and um you know, and and and keep it consistent with the memories of either you have having been there or you vicariously traveling through that scent, um, you know, when you're burning it.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, absolutely.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: I completely understand.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, I think it's it's interesting to me that, you know, um the travel aspect is really, really cool to me that you're bringing that up because I I'm a huge believer in that, you know, when you're when you go places that mesmerize you and you go to, you know, different parts of the world or wherever it is, you know, you want to carry that home with you.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: And I think that there's a lot of value in capturing the sense of different cities or the sense of different cultures, you know, it's becomes a more cultural conversation because I think uh that people are always seeking culture, you know, if that makes sense.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: They're always seeking this understanding of culture.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: And I think with something like fragrance, it's a wonderful way to open that door for people, um, for consumers worldwide.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: I think, you know, if you have a sense that's very Moroccan or it's very, you know, even you know, where I'm from India, you know, very Eastern, you can really help people understand a piece of that culture.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: And I think that, you know, it does a whole different, it it serves a whole different purpose in that regard, you know, in terms of just not just being a fragrance or a candle or whatever it is.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: It becomes a a a keepsake, you know, in that person's collection because it's something that really makes them feel curious or it ignites some sort of curiosity, ignites some sort of um, you know, just thought process.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: And I find that to be very, very valuable uh overall.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: Um, I I think my my biggest question to you is, you know, when you're looking for new ideas, right?
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: When you're looking for new ideas in terms of scent or just the feel that you want to evoke, um, where do you get your inspiration a lot of times, you know, whether it's just at home or just kind of uh, I guess, brainstorming new sense.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so you know, Bohem is kind of uh uh it's a brand that's focused primarily, it's a very female focused brand, right?
- 14:26SPEAKER_02: And we've kind of kept with uh we have this modern Bohemian in mind, and basically what that means to us is it's a I want it to be a community of women who are living or striving to live mindfully and purposefully, and um and I want women to see themselves in the brand, you know.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: So really our inspiration comes from um women who travel, uh women who are you know are empowered or are seeking empowerment, and they're going out there and living their life to the fullest, or traveling, they're learning about different places, cultures, uh, which in itself fosters a really, you know, I believe a deep respect for humanity and creates like this inspired way of life.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: And for us watching women travel where whether solo travel or in groups, learning through their travels and experiences, that's our inspiration for our product lines and fragrances in general.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: So, you know, um so we've kept like the travel aspect and really the female empowerment and then the fragrance aspect of it and kind of uh cultivating our brand around all of that.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: So when you ask me about inspiration, our inspiration comes from um remote places in the world, uh famous places in the world, um anywhere that um inspires you to kind of break out of your comfort zone and um and just really explore um just for yourself, for self-care, for self-empowerment, um anything that inspires you, that some of those, you know, places I've been to that I've been inspired by.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: Um I've had friends who've been there.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: There's places on my on my bucket list of of those 10, you know, cents that I would love to go to that I can kind of imagine what must it be like to be there.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: Um, and then obviously just living vicariously through all these beautiful communities of women all around the world who are empowering each other through their travels and kind of learning through their blogs and um social media and seeing like these just amazing locales all over the world um that can kind of you know make you realize how how vast our world is um and sometimes how close closed off we feel, right?
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: So uh yeah, inspiration is is is comes from all over.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: And we try to really um create um uh you know, I I I want it to be where it's uh inspiration created by not just the world, but also the women in it.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: Does that make sense?
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: No, I love that.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: I think that's very, very cool.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: And I I think that um you know there's a lot of value in what you just said, actually, you know, Sadov, because I think that women, especially, and I'm glad that your brand, by the way, is geared towards women.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: I really am.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: I'm actually getting sick of hearing this whole unisex stuff.
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: Because you know, I I am.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: No, I'm I really am because it's getting really irritating to hear that.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, at the end of the day, um, biologically speaking, you know, women and men, we gravitate towards towards different sex.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, just like a pheromone.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: Like it doesn't make any sense.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: Like it, you know, people, anyways, I would rather for years, you know.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: But but my point is, I I love that you said that and I love that you boldly said it because it's very important.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: I think women deserve, we deserve, just like men, to have our own niche products that we enjoy, you know, and to really connect with them and then create our stories based off of that.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: You know, I can tell you right now, your scents are beautiful.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: My mother, I I remember I emailed you when you first sent me when you first sent me samples, my mother immediately grabbed your candles and was like, these are mine.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: Like I mean, it's just it's just a beautiful, beautiful experience in that sense because uh, you know, you see a woman in her, you know, late 50s and 60s, and she still gets so excited to see something so beautifully crafted and something that smells so good, you know.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: And and she even told me that she said she said, you know, the puppies in the temple, but she coveted the beautiful design and the beautiful it meant something to her, you know what I mean?
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: It really did.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: And so when I think about that, I'm like, that's the whole purpose here is that you want to create products that people connect with and that women especially that we connect with, because let's be honest, you know, when you come home from like a long day, you know, you've had a long day at work or whatever it is for you, you want to feel connected and and feel at home.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: And the things that make a home for a woman is very different than the things that make a home for a man, you know, and so that's a great right.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: So it's just like I love that that's a part of the DNA of your brand, and I really support it because it's it comes out beautifully and it's not generic and it's not cheesy in the sense of you know what we talked about, where it's like, oh, sandalwood, or you know, you know, it's like jasmine, and that's it.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: No, it's a very, like you said, multi-layered, multi-dimensional um group of scents that you've created.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: And I I just I really, really value the amount of craftsmanship that's gone into your brand because it's from the look and the aesthetic to the actual scent itself and the longevity of the uh of the candles.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: That's something else that I want to really touch on.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, it's just such a beautifully crafted brand.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: So I really give you, you know, so much, so many props for what you've done.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, I think it's so beautifully done.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much, Ekta.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: That means so much, especially the fact that your mother loved it.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: It made my day when I read your email.
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: So tell her thank you.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: I really, really appreciate that the sentiment.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: No, I will definitely pass that to her.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, she's a huge fan, and I think that I and I am as well, you know, and I think that it it's for me, it's interesting to see um the different different generations and how they respond to the, you know what I mean, the products that we're creating today.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: So I found that to be very intriguing, you know, her response and her continued response, you know.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: So um now I want to ask you, I had mentioned, you know, I would love to talk to you a little bit about the actual longevity of the candles because they're so good.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, they last for a really good amount of time.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: And I really, really appreciate that because as a consumer, you know, when I invest in any product, I expect it to be, you know, that's something I look for.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: It's longevity.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: I've definitely bought candles before where, you know, you burn it and then within the first day, half of it is gone.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, how is that possible?
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: You know, like wow.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: So I would love for you to tell us about that, you know, in terms of what goes into making your candles, you know, and how what is the secret that you use to really make them long lasting?
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: So I guess really no big secret.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, aside from just utilizing good, clean products.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, in this day and age, you really have to be, you know, if we're creating a brand that's supposed to be all about an inspired way of life where we're everyone that's you that are using the products are supposed to be living or attempting to live mindfully, right?
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: So we have to utilize ingredients that are mindfully chosen.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: So that means, you know, we we stick to the the the cleanliness of of the ingredients that we use.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: So whether it's phalates and you know, fragrance oils or utilizing a soy coconut blend, making sure they're tested appropriately for the right amount of time to make sure it's not giving off any um, you know, black smoke or it's it's burning evenly or the fragrance is lasting uh the right amount of time.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: you know when when i ask somebody to spend 49 50 bucks for a candle i'm asking them to dip into their pockets to trust us with their with their choice right and to me it's a responsibility when you when you are a part of a consumer brand when you put out your consumers there has to be honesty and integrity in the products that you're putting out where the price that you're charging is justified so i can feel comfortable saying that hey listen i know that we may not be a 25 dollar brand or a 30 brand but we're what we're asking you to pay is a justified cost because we've put in a lot of thought and effort behind it behind it and uh we can you know um when you uh you know confidently say that your money is gonna you know uh your the purchase is gonna go a long way in terms of of uh of you spending money for it so yeah i mean you know we we aim to be sustainable we aim to be clean we need to um be transparent in terms of you know how we um how we test products we're you know we're made in the US so we have full quality control over um how things are poured in the factory um yeah and then obviously our fragrance house which is the whole key of uh longevity in terms of you know the the lasting fragrance is a combination of the wax you use and the and the amount of fragrance oil you use so where you don't want it to be super power overpowering where you get a headache no matter how nice the scent may be you want it to be just right um so yeah there's a whole art to even designing a candle uh rather creating a candle you know um yeah yeah no I mean it makes sense it it definitely makes sense and I you know I would never uh pretend to know what I'm doing that's why asked you because I think it's it's definitely a an art farm and I think it it it takes a lot of you know um understanding of what wax is to use like you mentioned and what to use and how much of it to use so I I mean I I think it's fascinating.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: I think the candle world is definitely you know it's been a booming industry for the past you know definitely the past five years from what I've noticed.
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: I mean I know that a lot of celebrities or not celebrities but YouTube celebrities I guess you could say have also launched their candle brands which I find to be a little you know jumping on the wagon.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: So when I when I find a brand like yours I really appreciate it um you know because it's it's something that's really made from I think a more genuine place.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: You know I'm very yeah I mean like you said it's an extremely saturated space you know like uh from people um setting up shops in the midst of the pandemic because they had nothing else to do to uh big corporations coming out with you know candles to you're right celebrities influencers youtubers I mean candles are everywhere there's no shortage of candle companies um and obviously most of them you know if they're doing it right you know aim for them to be a clean sustainable brand however if to me it was all about how do you launch a product that is something that's going to offer something different in such a saturated space that's a little bit more personalized a little bit more um super super focused on on its product line and not really just about hey we're another candle company out there so now you have you know 1501 choices to choose from for your holiday gifting so it's really all about it really comes down to um treading mindfully even even when you know we're starting you're starting a business yeah no I I think you're you know it's definitely very very true what you said and I and yeah you know I think I think everyone doesn't need a candle I want to be honest with you.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: I think if if you're a brand that's listening and you need a new product to come out with please don't make it a candle let it be let this niche be for the people who really enjoy it okay and that they know what they're doing because I've I'm not gonna lie I get there's every brand has a freaking candle and you know what's funny Sadov I actually request when I request for PR I'm like oh you got a candle send it to me because I want to see what you did that's so different here than somebody who actually knows what they're doing.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: And most of the time it's nothing special it's nothing special.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: It's like you know okay cool you put a candle up on your website and people are buying it because they like your brand but that's that's fishing for for money you know from consumers.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: I don't think brands should be doing that.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: I think it's unethical so I I when I find a brand that's fully dedicated to something that's when I get intrigued as a consumer and I think that your line is definitely standout.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: I think it's something that you know it's it speaks for itself you know the fragrance literally speaks for itself when you guys light the candles I promise you you're gonna see a huge difference between what Sadoff has created and what you know so and so brand just happens to have in their inventory you know it's it's a huge difference you guys you know so and the amount of craftsmanship like I said you know from the jar of the candle to the way it looks to the way it feels the where you can put it the the aesthetic you know it's all meaningful and it's all coming to cre together to create one product and that's where the difference is rather than just taking a classic jar that's you know a glass jar and just pouring some you know uh wax in it and then labeling it with your label.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: Like that's not to me a good candle.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: You have to really think about what you're making.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: And you know when you guys experience Bohem you'll notice like it it's you know there's no like paper labels.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: It's a it's craftsmanship you know at its highest and I love that you know because it becomes a souvenir it becomes a keepsaking your collection it's something you don't want to like you know see uh fly away quickly you know what I mean you you really really love it.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: You know another great example is that you know I know a lot of fragrance brands have launched with the idea of you know a candle in one fragrance.
- 28:10SPEAKER_01: You know I've interviewed some of them and I think that's also worth mentioning.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: It's like I love that you know and and that's why honestly said off I created Fragrance Fridays and I kept candles in that category because it really is about creating these moments like we've already talked about.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: So you know I'm I'm a huge believer in in this niche of beauty and and just wellness I think it plays such a huge role you know whenever I'm doing my skincare routine I love lighting your candle you know as I'm doing my skincare routine or my mask it's definitely become a part of my ritual.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: So um that I think for me as a consumer speaks for itself you know so I I give you so much credit and so many so many kudos for what you've done.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: You've really created a beautiful brand.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Thank you EXTA really appreciate that yeah no I mean it's it's it's my honesty and I hope that everyone listening you know if you're looking for truly um if you're like me and you want something for your home rather than just another you know product you I really urge you to check out the brand.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna be tagging everything in the concept art for this episode but you you know you guys I think quality is above all else that's my opinion you know as a consumer and I think when we see quality we find ourselves um gravitating towards brands such as you know the one we're interviewing today here you know Bohem you you you clearly see the difference in quality and so I really urge all of you check out the brand you know really invest in the candles they're wonderful they let they outlast all of my other candles like no joke they're absolutely gorgeous and wherever you light them the whole room will just be the perfect amount of fragrance it's not overpowering it's not gonna make you feel like you're choking on something like some candles have done to me.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: So you know it's gonna just make you feel very relaxed very at home it's gonna actually become for me it's become a staple.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 30:05SPEAKER_01: Like I know that this is what this room smells like because I have your candle in it.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: So it's it's a beautiful experience.
