- 2:04Speaker 1: to hear that. Today we are joined by the incredible
- 2:07Speaker 1: Georgie Stevenson. Welcome to the show.
- 2:10Speaker 4: My love, what an intro. I feel so social.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We try so hard with fun intros. I'm not reading
- 2:17Speaker 1: the bier that you had on your website, go fro.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I was like, I need to take that of mind.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You can have this and take it home. It's a
- 2:23Speaker 1: Victoria Divine special or put.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Down at the bottom by the Thank you so much
- 2:27Speaker 4: for having me. I'm so excited to be here. I
- 2:31Speaker 4: am such a big fan of the potty and yours
- 2:33Speaker 4: for a very long time.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So fine, very excited to have you here because I
- 2:37Speaker 1: feel like we were saying this on your podcast earlier.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It's like a Yin and yang like and I just
- 2:42Speaker 1: feel like it fits so well, and I see it
- 2:46Speaker 1: as such an opportunity in my podcast obviously to have
- 2:49Speaker 1: you on. We could have done a million things, right,
- 2:51Speaker 1: Like we could have talked about mindset. We could have
- 2:54Speaker 1: talked about strategy or manifestation or literally any of these things.
- 2:57Speaker 1: But like, go, I want to know about your business,
- 2:59Speaker 1: like I want the needy because you know, my favorite topic.
- 3:01Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, Oh.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You know how many people message me and they're like,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I really want to start a business, I want to
- 3:05Speaker 1: do this, I want to do that, And they have
- 3:07Speaker 1: all these assumptions and you've thrown all of them in
- 3:09Speaker 1: the bin. Go, let's start with your business story. Let's
- 3:12Speaker 1: dive straight in. Tell me you spent six years studying law,
- 3:16Speaker 1: you landed a job, you ran away, you left it
- 3:20Speaker 1: all behind you like yeat see you later. Tell me
- 3:23Speaker 1: how did you go from there to being the owner
- 3:26Speaker 1: of a multi million dollar business, Because that's not just
- 3:29Speaker 1: like oh I have a little side hustle girlfriend.
- 3:32Speaker 4: You are killing it. Thank you, thank you so really.
- 3:37Speaker 4: I yeah, I was doing corporate law. I got to
- 3:40Speaker 4: the end, I finished my law degree. I was like
- 3:43Speaker 4: in the court, holding that certificate from the judge. I
- 3:46Speaker 4: had an offer a really great law firm I'd worked
- 3:48Speaker 4: in family law, paid my dues. I was like at
- 3:51Speaker 4: that point. And on the side, I was, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 4: growing my community on social media. I was doing YouTube and.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I used to follow you. I don't know if
- 4:00Speaker 1: I should admit that, but yes, I used to follow you.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You and I thank you for this the same page.
- 4:06Speaker 4: And I had this just moment where I saw the
- 4:10Speaker 4: trajectory of what it could look like being a lawyer,
- 4:14Speaker 4: being a corporate lawyer or you know, being a family lawyer.
- 4:17Speaker 4: And I was like, cool that, look, it's fine. I
- 4:20Speaker 4: could do it. I know I could do it, proving
- 4:22Speaker 4: I just proved it. But I was like, I just
- 4:25Speaker 4: have this yearning, I have this calling, I have this
- 4:29Speaker 4: little voice inside me saying, what if there was something different,
- 4:34Speaker 4: what if there was something more? What if you loved
- 4:39Speaker 4: going to work? What if you, like you know, woke
- 4:42Speaker 4: up every single day and you really felt like you
- 4:46Speaker 4: were not only loving your life, but you were like
- 4:49Speaker 4: living your passions where other people could feel that. And
- 4:53Speaker 4: so that was the little voice. I had no idea,
- 4:56Speaker 4: and you couldn't even hear her clearly at that point.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Well it's like she said that, but there was nothing else,
- 5:00Speaker 4: And I was.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Like, what's that even mean?
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a bit confused. But I had never ever
- 5:05Speaker 4: taken time for myself. I had never had a gap
- 5:07Speaker 4: year out of high school to UNI. I never went traveling.
- 5:11Speaker 4: I was always like, oh, no, I've got to check
- 5:13Speaker 4: all the things out.
- 5:14Speaker 1: The same thing like it was, you just have it
- 5:16Speaker 1: inside you that No, a gap year would be wasted time.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I cost some money, waste of money, mate of time, Like, no,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I've got to go to UNI and get stuff done.
- 5:24Speaker 4: It got a life to live here. Yeah, and I've
- 5:26Speaker 4: got to do it all very fast.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah, because we've also got something to prove.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely, of course. And I just had this moment
- 5:32Speaker 4: where I was like, look, I need some space because
- 5:35Speaker 4: this voice is very loud. I do have this side
- 5:38Speaker 4: hustle where I'm making some sort of money, So I
- 5:40Speaker 4: do have this, you know, net It's not like too crazy,
- 5:44Speaker 4: but I need some space to figure out what this
- 5:46Speaker 4: all means. So I took a year, caught my gap year,
- 5:49Speaker 4: and I spent a year honestly for the first time
- 5:53Speaker 4: in my entire life. I was about twenty four twenty
- 5:55Speaker 4: five honoring myself and just being like, let's see what happened.
- 6:00Speaker 4: It's like completely surrendering, which was I was a control
- 6:02Speaker 4: You quit your job, went no other job to go to.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I did have money, and I did have a mortgage.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We didn't do that without a safety nere No, she's
- 6:12Speaker 1: an emergency fund. Very logical, and yeah, I spent it
- 6:16Speaker 1: like stilulu, but it's not that there was a plan.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Then you got to be diluted, wasn't that.
- 6:22Speaker 4: And I spent a year like going on brand trips,
- 6:25Speaker 4: like I went to like this gym Shark event, and
- 6:27Speaker 4: I like created a recipe ebook and I did a
- 6:29Speaker 4: whole bunch of things that were just a bit for you,
- 6:32Speaker 4: random and very like Georgie was like, no, if it's
- 6:35Speaker 4: got to be like the end goal, like she was
- 6:38Speaker 4: very planned, very strategic. Things had to look a certain way.
- 6:42Speaker 4: And I just spent the year creating space, doing fun things,
- 6:46Speaker 4: very out of character to me. And what eventuated from
- 6:50Speaker 4: that year is, you know, I was on YouTube I
- 6:54Speaker 4: was on a huge fitness journey then probably a little
- 6:56Speaker 4: bit toxic that it was.
- 6:57Speaker 1: A sign of the time. No, like we literally and go,
- 7:01Speaker 1: well what were you doing? But I was right there
- 7:03Speaker 1: with you unbalanced.
- 7:04Speaker 4: But look she you know it's got me to variety, soave.
- 7:07Speaker 1: It to me please. And nowadays I'm like, do not
- 7:11Speaker 1: put that stuff into your body? What are you doing?
- 7:14Speaker 1: Absolutely about education with intoitive eating and.
- 7:18Speaker 4: You know, so I was doing partnerships and I was
- 7:20Speaker 4: working for the supplement brand. It was fully vegan, natural
- 7:24Speaker 4: all the things. Because I was also going through a
- 7:25Speaker 4: hormone and balance and I was like trying to heal that.
- 7:28Speaker 4: And basically I found out through friends of friends in
- 7:32Speaker 4: the industry that this supplement company were lying about what
- 7:35Speaker 4: was on the packet. They in fact had dairy traces.
- 7:38Speaker 4: They in fact had multidextrom which is like sugar and
- 7:43Speaker 4: lying complete in the packet. And I was like, what
- 7:46Speaker 4: I work for these people. I felt so bad because
- 7:48Speaker 4: like I'm influencing people to buy this, And so I
- 7:52Speaker 4: remember calling my brother being like, oh my god, I'm
- 7:56Speaker 4: so embarrassed, like I've got to tell everyone, like, because
- 7:59Speaker 4: I really.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Talk, feel like you've got a responsibility. At that point,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I really took it seriously.
- 8:03Speaker 4: How I showed up online and I really felt like I, yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 4: had a responsibility anyway, So that whole thing happened. I
- 8:10Speaker 4: told people on YouTube, you'll the video still up if
- 8:13Speaker 4: you ever want to go find it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I do, I do.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I can always tell you all fair. And then basically
- 8:18Speaker 4: Cooper turned around a couple weeks later and he was like,
- 8:21Speaker 4: why don't you start your own supplement business.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You're a genius and do.
- 8:25Speaker 4: It properly and you know, make sure it's integral and
- 8:29Speaker 4: you know, you have the community, et cetera, et cetera.
- 8:31Speaker 1: And I was like, you're a genius, sir.
- 8:33Speaker 4: No. I was like, what are you talking about.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I could never do that.
- 8:36Speaker 4: I could never start my own business. Like that sounds horrible.
- 8:40Speaker 4: I hate logistics. I hate that side of things, Like
- 8:43Speaker 4: I want to be creative. I just left corporate. Cooper like,
- 8:46Speaker 4: I don't want to be in shackles again. Absolutely not,
- 8:49Speaker 4: And so he then was like, yeah, no, I get you.
- 8:51Speaker 4: And then again a couple of weeks later he come
- 8:53Speaker 4: back and he's like, what if we do it together?
- 8:55Speaker 4: What if I did the boring things and you know,
- 8:58Speaker 4: you still got to be creative. He knew in his
- 9:01Speaker 4: head I was still going to have to do the
- 9:02Speaker 4: boring things, but he was trying to pick Yeah.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's a smart man.
- 9:05Speaker 4: He's so smart. And he was a plumber at the time. Yeah,
- 9:07Speaker 4: no business.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Experience, That's exactly what I expected.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Obviously he had his own business, so you know, somewhat.
- 9:15Speaker 4: So that's how Naked Harvest was born. And really we
- 9:17Speaker 4: saw such a gap in the market because at that time,
- 9:21Speaker 4: this is what you know, six seven years ago, you'd
- 9:23Speaker 4: walk in a supplement store and it was so intimidating.
- 9:27Speaker 4: There is lightning bolts that his four nad meg of caffeine.
- 9:30Speaker 1: All black and it's all yellow, and it's very aggressive.
- 9:33Speaker 4: So aggressive, and the guy serving you as this huge,
- 9:37Speaker 4: buff gorilla.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Guy we all know didn't get those muscles from the
- 9:41Speaker 1: protein on the shows. We all know where where that
- 9:44Speaker 1: came from.
- 9:44Speaker 4: And he's like, you should take this, and it's like, yeah,
- 9:47Speaker 4: four hundred mega caffeine and I'm already an anxiously control
- 9:50Speaker 4: freight up. Yeah, Like I don't need that, and I'm
- 9:53Speaker 4: trying to balance my hormones and that's the last thing
- 9:55Speaker 4: I need and I really just saw such a gap
- 9:58Speaker 4: in the market, and I was like, women do not
- 10:01Speaker 4: feel safe, they do not feel seen, they do not
- 10:03Speaker 4: feel welcome.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Absolutely not. Like way back in the day, I was
- 10:07Speaker 1: buying that, you know, remember the Max's protein powder, and
- 10:10Speaker 1: how I had that cult following I was buying the
- 10:12Speaker 1: Maxines protein powder because it was the only one, was
- 10:15Speaker 1: the only one that was really marketed towards women. Somewhat
- 10:19Speaker 1: I felt like maybe that was better for me, and
- 10:22Speaker 1: like you're going on this journey, but you don't know.
- 10:24Speaker 4: You don't know, and it feels a bit wild. So
- 10:25Speaker 4: we were like, okay, we do want terrible stuff. By
- 10:28Speaker 4: the way, just to be incredibly clear for I was
- 10:31Speaker 4: going to say, we were like, okay. So basically, the
- 10:36Speaker 4: intention of the company is be integral. First of all,
- 10:39Speaker 4: what we see in the packaging is what you get snaked,
- 10:41Speaker 4: no feelers, no crap, hence the naked and then also
- 10:45Speaker 4: fun packaging, pink, fun packaging, because also women get to
- 10:50Speaker 4: play in the fitness industry and we don't have to
- 10:52Speaker 4: be serious, we don't have to like I'm muscle gorilla mess.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Like I know this business inside and out, and like
- 10:59Speaker 1: even just hearing you talk about it. I'm like, yes,
- 11:01Speaker 1: this is exactly what we need.
- 11:03Speaker 4: And we're like, it's not that deep, it's not that serious.
- 11:05Speaker 4: We can look after our healths. We can still be.
- 11:08Speaker 1: You guys do the seriality, but we don't have to
- 11:10Speaker 1: think about that because you've done the thinking for us.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Exactly, and you just get to be who you are.
- 11:15Speaker 4: You don't have to feel intimidated. You've like the products
- 11:18Speaker 4: are very clearly, this is what's in it, this is
- 11:20Speaker 4: how it's going to help you. And then also a
- 11:23Speaker 4: lot at the start we focused on education for women,
- 11:25Speaker 4: so like why creatine is actually really good for women,
- 11:29Speaker 4: why al carter teene is actually really good for women,
- 11:32Speaker 4: and why making sure it's that this dose, or if
- 11:35Speaker 4: you are going to have pre workout, why you should
- 11:38Speaker 4: only be having two hundred meg et cetera, excetera, especially
- 11:41Speaker 4: if you're having a coffee, and really educating women of
- 11:44Speaker 4: what they're putting in their body.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Literally, reason why I know about that stuff floating?
- 11:50Speaker 4: And yeah, So that's kind of how it was born
- 11:52Speaker 4: and how it came about to be. And then obviously
- 11:55Speaker 4: you know, we scaled, we worked on it, and it
- 11:58Speaker 4: has grown into something like I didn't know more incredible
- 12:01Speaker 4: than I ever thought that.
- 12:03Speaker 1: It is actually insane how much this has grown. And
- 12:06Speaker 1: you know, I think I feel very privileged to have
- 12:09Speaker 1: been in a position where I did get to watch
- 12:11Speaker 1: that journey. Like obviously we didn't know each other at
- 12:14Speaker 1: that point, but like you have been so open and
- 12:18Speaker 1: sharing and like going from you know, being Georgie on
- 12:22Speaker 1: YouTube who I was watching while I was doing my
- 12:24Speaker 1: bikini body workout somewhere else, like no bit like that
- 12:28Speaker 1: growth I feel like has matched your audience as well,
- 12:31Speaker 1: because we've all gone through it, Like that's what we
- 12:33Speaker 1: used to be interested in, And there is this pivot
- 12:36Speaker 1: of content where.
- 12:37Speaker 4: So just to quickly add because that was another thing
- 12:39Speaker 4: as I was also getting out of my toxic culture phase.
- 12:43Speaker 4: And so you'll notice on our page we never used
- 12:46Speaker 4: before and afters. We never talk about weightless.
- 12:49Speaker 1: That's not why we're doing.
- 12:50Speaker 4: It, no, and we were very much trying to say, look,
- 12:53Speaker 4: you can want a healthy life, and you can want
- 12:55Speaker 4: to know about what you put in your body with
- 12:57Speaker 4: not the goal of being the smallest possible version of yourself,
- 13:01Speaker 4: which is really what debilitated me for years and years
- 13:05Speaker 4: and years as well, and it was so toxic and
- 13:07Speaker 4: it was just it really kept me so small and
- 13:10Speaker 4: so many other ways than just my weight. And so
- 13:12Speaker 4: that's also another thing that we voiced and we really
- 13:15Speaker 4: four fronted, which again six years ago that was quite
- 13:20Speaker 4: bolt Like people thought.
- 13:21Speaker 1: That you've paved the way for that to be the norm,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and like that is from someone who went through that
- 13:30Speaker 1: period of time before finding YouTube, Like this is a
- 13:33Speaker 1: bit more personal. I did have an eating disorder and
- 13:36Speaker 1: then kind of that was my me gripping at control,
- 13:39Speaker 1: right and like it is very controlling, and then getting
- 13:42Speaker 1: out of that toxic mindset. Now, if you ask me,
- 13:44Speaker 1: my weight is the most unimportant thing about me, Like why.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Are we talking about any interesting things?
- 13:50Speaker 1: And it annoys me when people bring it up, Like
- 13:53Speaker 1: if people are like, oh my goodness, you had a baby,
- 13:55Speaker 1: and how did you lose the bait, Let's not talk
- 13:58Speaker 1: about that. I'm a finance person, yeah, but don't come
- 14:03Speaker 1: to me for that advice. Go somewhere else.
- 14:05Speaker 4: That's literally why I started my podcast, because I'm like, no,
- 14:08Speaker 4: let's actually be women who can have deeper conversations that's
- 14:12Speaker 4: more than how we look and what way?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, all right, Georgie. I have loved this, but
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to hold it up there. Let's go
- 14:19Speaker 1: to a really quick break and on the flip side,
- 14:22Speaker 1: we're gonna dive a little bit deeper. You went into
- 14:28Speaker 1: business with your brother. They always say don't go into
- 14:30Speaker 1: business with friends or family, and you literally went for
- 14:33Speaker 1: the closest one to you.
- 14:34Speaker 4: I know I did get that memo. What's that you know?
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'm so sorry I forgot to text it to you.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It's clearly worked out though, But nitty gritty, what's it
- 14:42Speaker 1: like working with your brother? Because if I worked with
- 14:44Speaker 1: my sister, we would act exactly like like sisters. Honestly.
- 14:49Speaker 4: It's funny because me and Cooper, so I actually have
- 14:51Speaker 4: three older brothers, So I have like the two oldest oldest,
- 14:54Speaker 4: and then it's like Cooper and then it's me.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I'm the youngest out of this baby.
- 14:57Speaker 4: The baby girl of course says a lot. And me
- 15:01Speaker 4: and Cooper kind of grew up together because the older
- 15:03Speaker 4: two were a bit older. We'd always be playing together,
- 15:06Speaker 4: so we had this mutual respect and we always.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Saw each other like you two against the world.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Yeah, like very on the same level. And I'd say
- 15:13Speaker 4: we were close growing up. But I wouldn't say we
- 15:15Speaker 4: were like extremely close. Like it wasn't like ride or
- 15:18Speaker 4: die vibes. It was like, oh, yeah, he's my brother.
- 15:21Speaker 4: You know, he'd like dub on me if I went
- 15:23Speaker 4: to a party and stuff like, Yeah, it wasn't like
- 15:25Speaker 4: best he still.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Deeper dobber, but like a strange time he'd had your back.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Yeah, no, he had my back. And then we I
- 15:33Speaker 4: don't know, I think we had this beautiful mutual respect
- 15:37Speaker 4: for each other. I really respect him for his business mind,
- 15:41Speaker 4: for his integrity, for the way he shows up for
- 15:44Speaker 4: his wife, his children, the way he's always showed up
- 15:47Speaker 4: for his family, you know, his values. He's always respected
- 15:51Speaker 4: me for my creativity, for you know, obviously what I
- 15:54Speaker 4: do on social media, on my drive. And we've always
- 15:57Speaker 4: realized that without the like, for example, I could have
- 16:02Speaker 4: started this business and done this business by myself, and
- 16:08Speaker 4: the fact is I didn't want to and he made
- 16:12Speaker 4: it easier, and I absolutely like would not want to
- 16:15Speaker 4: do it with anyone else. And also actually maybe I
- 16:18Speaker 4: could not have like who knows, because that's.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I love the different reality between the two of you two.
- 16:23Speaker 1: It's really it's so.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Fun and beautiful, so wholesome, we have so much love
- 16:27Speaker 4: and respect, and I think what makes it really great
- 16:29Speaker 4: is if there's any problems, we are so great at
- 16:33Speaker 4: communicating and we will always be so real with ourselves
- 16:37Speaker 4: and with the other person, and we just talk it out.
- 16:40Speaker 4: And I think also in business, you have to have
- 16:43Speaker 4: so much trust. And I think him being my blood,
- 16:47Speaker 4: you know, our family being very close and connected, he
- 16:51Speaker 4: is someone I trust with my inherently, yeah, inherently, And
- 16:54Speaker 4: I think it's like there's never any ickiness there. And
- 16:57Speaker 4: also like for a long time, obviously I know everything,
- 17:01Speaker 4: but like he kind of did the financials, logistics and
- 17:04Speaker 4: what we're not to ask about that next, and I
- 17:06Speaker 4: could always we were transparent with each other. But I
- 17:09Speaker 4: had so much trust because he trusted me so much.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Like obviously it's a more of a female brand. So
- 17:16Speaker 4: it's like I really took control with creative, with our message,
- 17:19Speaker 4: with how we showed up online, with you know, kind
- 17:22Speaker 4: of the front facing things of the business. And he
- 17:25Speaker 4: never questioned me. Actually he did sometimes, but like.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Very like constructively.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Yeah, So we've always just had this. You still need
- 17:32Speaker 4: your brother to.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Keep you in check and be like, what are you
- 17:34Speaker 1: doing on the internet. Georgie.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Yes, and you go, okay, let me let me explain,
- 17:38Speaker 4: let me justify market the marketing tactic.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:41Speaker 4: And then also what's been really good is because we
- 17:44Speaker 4: had this business over for example, you know, I have
- 17:47Speaker 4: had Ivy, I'm pregnant again. He has three children with
- 17:52Speaker 4: fourth on the way. Ah, I know, babies, so many babes.
- 17:56Speaker 4: We come from a big family, and so sometimes I
- 17:59Speaker 4: have to tap out of the business a bit, and
- 18:01Speaker 4: then sometimes he does. And honestly, having a business partner
- 18:05Speaker 4: who has so much respect and.
- 18:07Speaker 1: On the same life journey as you as well, like
- 18:09Speaker 1: and they didn't get the kids. That might be different,
- 18:11Speaker 1: but like he just.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Again have love for you, and they weren't. Like, no,
- 18:14Speaker 4: I want you to have the best newborn experience.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:17Speaker 4: So it's honestly incredible. I feel love that so blessed.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I could never have a business partner ever ever again
- 18:23Speaker 1: because your bar is set up here. You touched on
- 18:26Speaker 1: finances before. Tell me how did you make it work
- 18:29Speaker 1: financially to begin with? Because like Naked Harvest, gorgeous business,
- 18:33Speaker 1: but like you would have had to invest so much
- 18:36Speaker 1: in branding, packaging, manufacturing, and then I'm just going to
- 18:40Speaker 1: take a stab in the dark here. Your products probably
- 18:42Speaker 1: cost a lot more to produce because they are naked,
- 18:45Speaker 1: like they ask what they say they are on the packet.
- 18:47Speaker 1: There's no filler, there's no junk like that means more expensive.
- 18:52Speaker 1: How did you do it?
- 18:53Speaker 5: So?
- 18:53Speaker 4: And to be very transparent, we both put in about
- 18:56Speaker 4: eighty grand each to start Naked Harvest, and that included
- 19:00Speaker 4: that's a good start, yes, that included developing the products.
- 19:03Speaker 4: That included you know, paying for the first round of packaging,
- 19:07Speaker 4: Trademark's website, all that sort of stuff. And it was
- 19:11Speaker 4: over a year, so it wasn't like eighty grand all up.
- 19:13Speaker 4: It was like just like incremental across the journey. But
- 19:17Speaker 4: did you talk about that first, like hey, we have
- 19:19Speaker 4: to tip in money or did you both just have
- 19:21Speaker 4: a level of financial security before you started.
- 19:24Speaker 1: We did.
- 19:25Speaker 4: I honestly don't think we released how much it was
- 19:27Speaker 4: going to cost, because that's a lot of money off.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Also, if I told you how much it would have cost,
- 19:31Speaker 1: you probably would have shied away a little bit absolutely, like,
- 19:34Speaker 1: oh no, that's a big investment.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I know.
- 19:36Speaker 4: And it kept costing more and more money, like they
- 19:38Speaker 4: kept being more things. Cooper actually had to refinance his house.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Oh my good so he leveraged his house on.
- 19:44Speaker 1: A bit really said I believe in you.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Yeah, like he was like, I'm all in. I personally
- 19:50Speaker 4: didn't like I just like again, was working the whole time,
- 19:53Speaker 4: using cash coming in, using all my sounds.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Like you guys are like self funded.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Self funded, bootstrapped, and then what we would do is like,
- 20:02Speaker 4: you know, we sold the first you know, round of products,
- 20:05Speaker 4: and then we used all the money to invest back
- 20:06Speaker 4: in the next round. Yeah, et cetera, et cetera, and
- 20:09Speaker 4: we're still self funded, we're still fully bootstrapped, and we
- 20:12Speaker 4: just make it work. Honestly, it's scary sometimes you've an
- 20:15Speaker 4: eight figure company and how much money we've got to
- 20:17Speaker 4: pay to.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Let we're not talking and as we're talking eight figures here.
- 20:21Speaker 4: It's really scary the amount of money we have to
- 20:23Speaker 4: let go of.
- 20:24Speaker 1: And I'm just easing invoicing coming in and out, like
- 20:28Speaker 1: something for me about scaling. And I definitely am not
- 20:31Speaker 1: at your level, Like I'm seven figure, low seven figures,
- 20:35Speaker 1: and I look at it and I just go, oh
- 20:36Speaker 1: my goodness, Like I do payroll and I go, that's
- 20:39Speaker 1: so much money. And I do tax, and I do
- 20:41Speaker 1: super in all of these things, Like they start adding
- 20:44Speaker 1: up and I think people go, oh my god, you
- 20:46Speaker 1: must be so rich. Like if you looked at my
- 20:47Speaker 1: bank account and I go, babe, all that's allocated, Like
- 20:50Speaker 1: that's payroll right there, that's that's that. You know, I've
- 20:52Speaker 1: got my little business emergency fund. Do you get overwhelmed
- 20:56Speaker 1: doing it now? Because it's scaled? Like do you look
- 20:59Speaker 1: at it and log into your Internet banking and see
- 21:01Speaker 1: numbers and go ill? Like that's a lot.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Honestly, I think because of the mindset work and like
- 21:08Speaker 4: the energetics I've done around money, I don't. Yeah, but
- 21:11Speaker 4: that has taken so much work. I've worked on my
- 21:14Speaker 4: money story. I've worked on my smatic feeling towards you know,
- 21:19Speaker 4: three hundred grand leaving the bank account.
- 21:22Speaker 1: At one time in one transaction.
- 21:24Speaker 4: In one transaction to ospos and specifically pins. Yeah, And
- 21:29Speaker 4: I've had to because money disregulates people and then they
- 21:32Speaker 4: make bad decisions in a disregulated place. And so I
- 21:36Speaker 4: have kind of understood that from the start. And Mean
- 21:39Speaker 4: Cooper have been huge on self development, which we were
- 21:42Speaker 4: big on before we started Naked Harvest, which again so
- 21:45Speaker 4: grateful for and so we just have really worked on
- 21:48Speaker 4: our nervous system. We have worked on our mindset, We
- 21:52Speaker 4: have worked on the you know, like not only the mindset,
- 21:55Speaker 4: obviously having the strategy. We have the right people, we
- 21:57Speaker 4: have the right accountant, we have a financial and we
- 22:00Speaker 4: have the people. And so then I trust, I really trust,
- 22:04Speaker 4: and it is scary, and I can be very transparent
- 22:06Speaker 4: and say, like, to run our business, yes, it's an
- 22:09Speaker 4: eight figure business. To run per month takes about six
- 22:13Speaker 4: hundred thousand dollars. That's the like, we're not profiting off that.
- 22:16Speaker 1: No, that's just the base amount that needs to come
- 22:18Speaker 1: in to pay people like and I think people forget
- 22:22Speaker 1: that when you start scaling.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Like you just paying more money.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Like and people go, oh my god, she must
- 22:28Speaker 1: have millions and millions of profit. Yes, of course, Like
- 22:31Speaker 1: we're sharing that publicly too, but like that is small
- 22:35Speaker 1: in comparison to what it takes to run that beast.
- 22:38Speaker 4: And also, like, you know, if God forbids something happens
- 22:41Speaker 4: one month, then you know we are going through a
- 22:44Speaker 4: lot happening with you.
- 22:45Speaker 1: If you're investing in a new product and you're like,
- 22:47Speaker 1: you know, it hasn't been released yet, and you need
- 22:49Speaker 1: to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on this, Like
- 22:52Speaker 1: you've got to not only have the cash flow to
- 22:54Speaker 1: sustain the business, where's the investment for growth coming from?
- 22:57Speaker 4: Well, that's even something we've learned on the way, I guess.
- 23:00Speaker 4: And we have no business backgrounds and no financial background.
- 23:04Speaker 4: None of our family members have done this. I didn't
- 23:06Speaker 4: really have a team around you, right, amazing team. But
- 23:08Speaker 4: for example, like a couple of years ago, we launched
- 23:11Speaker 4: the candy collection at Naked Harvest and this was six
- 23:14Speaker 4: products that all had like candy flavored and this was
- 23:17Speaker 4: really huge for us. We actually had such a huge
- 23:19Speaker 4: scaling moment in our business. But for example, we had
- 23:23Speaker 4: never backed and paid for cash flow wise six products
- 23:28Speaker 4: because again our products are very high quality and they
- 23:32Speaker 4: do take a lot of money, especially the batches we
- 23:34Speaker 4: do them in. And for example, that was the scariest
- 23:37Speaker 4: point because for a moment there I was like cash
- 23:40Speaker 4: flow wise, I was like, holy shit, this covera shine
- 23:43Speaker 4: needs to work out otherwise we're not going to have jobs. Yep.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And that was a moment. Again obviously huge tree seeing that, right.
- 23:51Speaker 4: No, they just see the huge launch and it went
- 23:53Speaker 4: so I was so perfect, Thank god, because I would
- 23:57Speaker 4: have been on the streets. I would have had gone
- 23:59Speaker 4: back to the But again, that was such a huge
- 24:02Speaker 4: moment where I was like, oh, huge risks, huge reward,
- 24:07Speaker 4: huge risk. And again it doesn't always turn out. We've
- 24:10Speaker 4: had other launches where it hasn't turned out. We've made mistakes.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I'm glad it wasn't one way. You did six products
- 24:16Speaker 1: at one.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Time the Lord, and yeah, we've had to figure out
- 24:20Speaker 4: that sort of stuff. But again, you keep showing up,
- 24:24Speaker 4: you keep working it out. You google a lot of stuff,
- 24:28Speaker 4: you listen to podcasts.
- 24:30Speaker 1: You've got to be open to it. I think the
- 24:31Speaker 1: second that you stop being open to learning and you
- 24:34Speaker 1: start thinking you know everything is the moment that your
- 24:37Speaker 1: business starts to slow down and fall because you're actually
- 24:40Speaker 1: not all that anymore.
- 24:42Speaker 4: And also think, the biggest thing about our business that
- 24:45Speaker 4: has always kind of worked well is from the very
- 24:49Speaker 4: start we have listened to our community.
- 24:51Speaker 1: You guys have a thriving community. What's the secret there?
- 24:55Speaker 1: Because you're listening to them, but like, not only are
- 24:57Speaker 1: you listening, they want you to do well like your community.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Oh my god, they don't just back you, They they
- 25:06Speaker 1: ride at dawn like they are, that's there, but like
- 25:10Speaker 1: am I lying? Like you no say anything bad about you? Guys,
- 25:14Speaker 1: they're the first to be like absolutely not. Like you
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't even need your own PR team. They'll look after you.
- 25:18Speaker 4: We don't have PRS.
- 25:19Speaker 1: No, you don't need it because this community is backing you.
- 25:24Speaker 1: How do you create a community that backs you your products,
- 25:28Speaker 1: even products that haven't been launched yet, because they know
- 25:30Speaker 1: that you did the right thing. How do you do that, Georgie?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Because that's the unicorn, isn't it? Yes?
- 25:36Speaker 4: I think you like, like I said, for example, before
- 25:40Speaker 4: we even started Naked Harvest, we had the intention that
- 25:44Speaker 4: this was to make women feel seen in the fitness
- 25:47Speaker 4: industry and to make them feel welcomed and to make
- 25:50Speaker 4: no one feel like they have to change their body
- 25:53Speaker 4: but they can still look after their health. And because
- 25:57Speaker 4: we went with such a beautiful intention and obviously such
- 26:01Speaker 4: a hard hitting intention that resonated with and we didn't
- 26:06Speaker 4: just start with that and then start making a lot
- 26:08Speaker 4: of success and forget. We've maintained that the whole way through.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Like I said, we constantly asked our community what do
- 26:16Speaker 4: they want? How do they want it? Like, for example,
- 26:18Speaker 4: we recently repriced. Our creatives saw that it was so exciting.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Oh like just a brand being like, hey, we're doing
- 26:28Speaker 1: really well, we can drop prices for you. What brand
- 26:31Speaker 1: does that? Georgie?
- 26:32Speaker 4: I know, especially when like, look our CFO was like, oh,
- 26:35Speaker 4: your CFO would have been like Georgie's de Lulu again
- 26:38Speaker 4: and you're like, hold my mic Well, So we have
- 26:41Speaker 4: always when we are creating prices for a product, we
- 26:45Speaker 4: go off a set formula of how much the product costs,
- 26:48Speaker 4: and then obviously putting on a certain amount to cover
- 26:52Speaker 4: costs for our team, for for dekeeping, the life for
- 26:55Speaker 4: the next products, et cetera. And it has always been
- 26:57Speaker 4: a set for me. It's just how we do it.
- 26:59Speaker 4: We don't actually looked too much at the market. We
- 27:01Speaker 4: don't actually try it, which.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Because we're not trying to compete with the market. We're
- 27:05Speaker 1: in our own lane.
- 27:06Speaker 4: We just see ourselves in our own lane. And for example,
- 27:09Speaker 4: we are very excitedly working with a new manufacturer and
- 27:13Speaker 4: they were able to get us the same high quality
- 27:16Speaker 4: ingredients for creating. Creating is interesting because it's basically one ingredient.
- 27:20Speaker 4: So that's why we could do such a drop and
- 27:23Speaker 4: basically we started working with a new manufacturer and we
- 27:25Speaker 4: got a really great deal because we were buying so
- 27:28Speaker 4: much of it. Because we had never launched creatine. We
- 27:31Speaker 4: bought a smaller batch. It went bananas scale, and so
- 27:35Speaker 4: we buy bigger batches now and so that exact formula
- 27:40Speaker 4: has now changed. And of course we could have kept
- 27:43Speaker 4: that profit. That would have been the business decision. That's
- 27:46Speaker 4: probably what other people would have done. But me and
- 27:49Speaker 4: Cooper sat down and I said, you know, it's really important.
- 27:51Speaker 4: At the moment. There is a lot happening in the economy.
- 27:54Speaker 4: People are really feeling it. And our goal is always
- 27:57Speaker 4: to make supplements accessible and easy to use in their
- 28:01Speaker 4: life and easy to buy and easy to you know,
- 28:04Speaker 4: so it doesn't feel so it doesn't feel like a
- 28:08Speaker 4: lifestyle for these people over there. It's a lifestyle that
- 28:12Speaker 4: everyone do have. We all get to enjoy our health,
- 28:15Speaker 4: we all get to be healthy. So we were like, yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 4: we're going to reduce the price, and we obviously, you know,
- 28:21Speaker 4: did a whole post on it, and we had such
- 28:24Speaker 4: great feedback. Obviously people are going to love that.
- 28:26Speaker 1: We love saving money.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Yeah, of course I love saving money.
- 28:29Speaker 1: If you're your community, talk about saving money.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think like another thing too, is we've
- 28:35Speaker 4: always been very transparent with our community. We've always just
- 28:38Speaker 4: been like, here's how it is if we make a mistake,
- 28:40Speaker 4: here's how it is, if we, you know, need to
- 28:43Speaker 4: change prices, if people are upset about something. We are
- 28:46Speaker 4: so transparent. We always listen to our community. And also,
- 28:50Speaker 4: my community knows I'm not perfect. They know I never
- 28:54Speaker 4: you know, ran a business before, and they're so beautiful
- 28:58Speaker 4: with me being someone who can just like show up
- 29:02Speaker 4: for them, for the community and be myself. It's such
- 29:06Speaker 4: a beautiful. It's a relationship. I really see Naked Harvest
- 29:10Speaker 4: in a relationship with its community, and I think that
- 29:13Speaker 4: is what makes our business so different.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It's so good. Pivoting back to finance for a hot second,
- 29:20Speaker 1: So you run an eight figure business, At what point
- 29:23Speaker 1: did you go, Holy guacamole, this is a number I've hit.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I feel successful because you speak to business owners and
- 29:31Speaker 1: you just don't take the time sometimes to reflect or
- 29:34Speaker 1: take the time to set financial goals where you feel
- 29:36Speaker 1: like you've made it like everyone wants to make it.
- 29:40Speaker 1: But what does that even mean? So when you were
- 29:42Speaker 1: setting financial goals, was there a number that you hit that,
- 29:44Speaker 1: you were like, Cooper, Cooper, did you see that? I
- 29:48Speaker 1: think we're legit now, like or do you still feel
- 29:50Speaker 1: you're like you're just oh, we're treading water, we're doing this,
- 29:53Speaker 1: we're doing that. What is it like? Such a good question.
- 29:56Speaker 4: I honestly think probably when we did hit that seven figures,
- 30:00Speaker 4: because again, I come from a family where my dad
- 30:04Speaker 4: was a plumber, my mom was a stay at home mum,
- 30:05Speaker 4: and they you know, we had the best childhood and
- 30:07Speaker 4: we had everything.
- 30:08Speaker 1: We needed but a million dollars.
- 30:10Speaker 4: But we were yeah, we were not in that category.
- 30:12Speaker 4: So when you know, the business made around that, and
- 30:16Speaker 4: the biggest thing was the business made around that much money.
- 30:21Speaker 4: And I loved showing up for work. I loved our community,
- 30:25Speaker 4: I loved our products, I loved working. I loved looking
- 30:28Speaker 4: at the profit and loss and like all those things.
- 30:31Speaker 4: That was probably the moment where I was like, holy crap,
- 30:36Speaker 4: I cannot believe we have not only created this community,
- 30:40Speaker 4: this company, but it's felt not so much easy because
- 30:45Speaker 4: it has like absolutely like dig work. I probably worked
- 30:49Speaker 4: way more than I did when I was in my
- 30:50Speaker 4: corporate job, but it has felt so aligned and so
- 30:56Speaker 4: exciting and so I just felt so lit up the
- 31:00Speaker 4: whole time. And I think that was the moment where
- 31:02Speaker 4: I was like, holy crap, Like I did not believe
- 31:06Speaker 4: this was ever possible. I grew up with my dad
- 31:08Speaker 4: being like, you work hard, you provide for your family.
- 31:11Speaker 4: It's not fun. Like he was digging trenches his whole life, plumbing,
- 31:15Speaker 4: and so like.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Now he's sort of like floats around and he's like,
- 31:17Speaker 1: do you want to come in my pool? And he's
- 31:19Speaker 1: just like, what is this life? Ye, no joke.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Amut of money conversations I have my parents is incredible
- 31:24Speaker 4: and it's so open minded, so what's really good? But
- 31:27Speaker 4: I think that was the moment where I was like, what, Yeah,
- 31:30Speaker 4: this is possible. Yeah and did it and I did
- 31:33Speaker 4: it and yeah, it's honestly still surreal. Like when I'm like, oh,
- 31:36Speaker 4: we have an eight figure company, I'm like do we?
- 31:37Speaker 5: Though?
- 31:38Speaker 4: Like, let me just check.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Do you feel a little bit like a fraud? Like
- 31:43Speaker 1: is there that I feel like you wouldn't because you're
- 31:46Speaker 1: so good at mindset? But I talked to so many
- 31:48Speaker 1: business owners that are like, oh, like I do have
- 31:50Speaker 1: that money on my account and I do have this
- 31:52Speaker 1: I do feel a little bit like a fraud or
- 31:54Speaker 1: like you know, you've got that imposter syndrome, You've got
- 31:58Speaker 1: that idea that someone's going to you on.
- 32:00Speaker 4: The shoulder and it's all gonna go away.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Yeah, And like I still struggle with that a little
- 32:04Speaker 1: bit because I just go what if, Like what if?
- 32:08Speaker 1: What if people realize that I'm just a girl with
- 32:10Speaker 1: an iPhone and I'm not as smart as you think
- 32:13Speaker 1: I am. Yeah, and like you know when we stuff,
- 32:16Speaker 1: course it's talking about its electrophic career that's obviously not
- 32:19Speaker 1: gonna happen any But do you feel that.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Again, Absolutely, I'm only human. I come just just a girl. Yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 4: Like I'm just a girl. And I, like I said,
- 32:29Speaker 4: the background I come from, I never thought this would
- 32:32Speaker 4: be my life. Like I even if I was dreaming
- 32:34Speaker 4: super big, I don't ever think I would have like
- 32:38Speaker 4: got here. So absolutely, and of course I feel the
- 32:41Speaker 4: fears and the doubts and the imposter syndrome. But again
- 32:45Speaker 4: because of the mindset work I do and I teach,
- 32:49Speaker 4: I am constantly processing those feelings and never letting them
- 32:54Speaker 4: disregulate me or overtake me, because again I don't want
- 32:58Speaker 4: them to rule any disc decisions. And I truly believe.
- 33:01Speaker 4: It's like when you're stepping into the person you want
- 33:04Speaker 4: to be and you're clear in your vision, you need
- 33:07Speaker 4: to make decisions from that person, not who you currently are,
- 33:11Speaker 4: and that's how you get there. And so if you're
- 33:14Speaker 4: currently feeling like doubt, imposter syndrome, not good enough, and
- 33:19Speaker 4: you make decisions from that, you're going to either stay
- 33:22Speaker 4: the same or go backwards. And we obviously don't want
- 33:25Speaker 4: to do that. So when I am feeling like that,
- 33:28Speaker 4: I regulate my nervous system. I know, process it.
- 33:32Speaker 5: I do some.
- 33:32Speaker 4: EFT tapping and I work through. It's just an emotion
- 33:35Speaker 4: and we all feel it like we all have fear.
- 33:37Speaker 4: It's our brain protecting us. Thank you brand.
- 33:39Speaker 1: But you can stop that now, like I get fight
- 33:41Speaker 1: off flight, but I'm not a cave man. Please stop this.
- 33:44Speaker 4: No, I have the tools, and that's the thing is
- 33:46Speaker 4: we all have the tools, and we all can progress
- 33:49Speaker 4: in this area. And so then I get myself in
- 33:52Speaker 4: a mindset in a like my nervous system in a
- 33:55Speaker 4: position of future me, and then I do my day
- 33:58Speaker 4: make decisions from.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I love that so much. If someone is listening to
- 34:03Speaker 1: this podcast and they haven't been introduced to you before.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Obviously you've got a whole podcast, You've got Rise and Conquer,
- 34:10Speaker 1: which I'm obsessed with, Like I feel like, if I'm
- 34:12Speaker 1: in a bad mood, I'm like, absolutely not, let's put
- 34:15Speaker 1: on an episode of this because I'll step into the
- 34:16Speaker 1: right mindset that if they've just met you and they're
- 34:21Speaker 1: obviously listening to this episode because we're talking about business
- 34:23Speaker 1: and life and how all of that comes together. What
- 34:26Speaker 1: would you say is your biggest piece of advice for
- 34:30Speaker 1: stepping into being the person you want to be in business?
- 34:33Speaker 4: I think you've said this in your intro, but you
- 34:36Speaker 4: have to throw out the rule book because I guarantee you, like,
- 34:41Speaker 4: we all have these beautiful desires on our hearts that
- 34:45Speaker 4: are unique to us, and how I've done it is
- 34:48Speaker 4: going to be different to how Victoria does it and
- 34:52Speaker 4: how so many other people want to do it. And
- 34:54Speaker 4: so it's really important to have expanders, to have these
- 34:56Speaker 4: people we look to and we get inspiration and motivation to.
- 35:00Speaker 4: But the biggest change that I saw in my evolution
- 35:04Speaker 4: in my business success was when I started listening to
- 35:08Speaker 4: my intuition, to my inner self, and I quieted the
- 35:13Speaker 4: noise and I was able to follow my desires and
- 35:17Speaker 4: trust myself and build that self trust. And simply how
- 35:22Speaker 4: you build that self trust is you say you're going
- 35:24Speaker 4: to do something and you do it, and so like
- 35:26Speaker 4: that can be very small and you can build that up.
- 35:29Speaker 4: And yeah, I would say, like, start listening to yourself more,
- 35:33Speaker 4: start getting self curious. Like again, if you are having
- 35:37Speaker 4: limiting beliefs of why you can't start the business or
- 35:40Speaker 4: why you can't be successful, this is really great because
- 35:43Speaker 4: it's just showing you what you need to look at,
- 35:47Speaker 4: what you need to heal, what you need to transcend,
- 35:49Speaker 4: what you need to move through in order to be
- 35:53Speaker 4: this incredible person.
- 35:55Speaker 1: That you we all have.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Like I had that little voice and I still wasn't clear,
- 35:59Speaker 4: and I had to go and find her and I
- 36:00Speaker 4: had to go and clear the gun work.
- 36:02Speaker 1: It's literal work.
- 36:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it's you got to do the work. And so
- 36:06Speaker 4: I really believe it's like, start listening to your little
- 36:09Speaker 4: internal dialogue a bit more, Start listening to those fears,
- 36:12Speaker 4: those limiting beliefs, because it's going to show you what
- 36:16Speaker 4: you need to clear, what you need to move through
- 36:19Speaker 4: to become your most incredible self, which we all have
- 36:24Speaker 4: that person inside us, like I love to say, like
- 36:27Speaker 4: I'm not special, Like if you met twenty one year
- 36:30Speaker 4: old Georgie, you would be like, oh my god, she's
- 36:33Speaker 4: so average, she's so normal. There's nothing special about her.
- 36:37Speaker 1: That is not true, but sure, and I will believe
- 36:41Speaker 1: that second.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Thank you for Brett. But I have been able to
- 36:46Speaker 4: progress because I have believed in myself because of the
- 36:51Speaker 4: self trust. I've cleared the gunk and anyone can do it.
- 36:54Speaker 4: And I feel like you feel the same way, where
- 36:56Speaker 4: you're like, absolutely, if I can do it, baby, you
- 36:58Speaker 4: can do it.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I just you can, Like it's not that
- 37:02Speaker 1: hard or that deep. You actually just have to pull
- 37:04Speaker 1: your head out of the sand and get some work done.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Like I think so many of us are writing.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Look at like the iky stuff. You have to look
- 37:11Speaker 4: at your conditioning. You have to look at why you
- 37:13Speaker 4: think that way while why.
- 37:15Speaker 1: You have that confronting Like we're not here saying this
- 37:18Speaker 1: is easy work, Like it's easy once you get there,
- 37:21Speaker 1: but like the work can feel icky, it can feel gross,
- 37:24Speaker 1: it can be really confronting because you're learning things about
- 37:26Speaker 1: yourself that you don't really like, Like no.
- 37:29Speaker 4: We're becoming a new person.
- 37:30Speaker 1: No one wants to hear that they're not who they
- 37:32Speaker 1: want to be. Yeah, like I want someone to be like, oh,
- 37:35Speaker 1: you're so inspiring. But there was a period of time
- 37:37Speaker 1: when I was not that.
- 37:39Speaker 4: No, I wasn't inspiring, and I didn't feel good about myself,
- 37:43Speaker 4: and I didn't have good internal dialogue, and I didn't
- 37:46Speaker 4: have the self belief and the self esteem and all
- 37:49Speaker 4: those sorts of things like that. Georgia was built brick
- 37:52Speaker 4: by brick, So if I can do it, like you
- 37:54Speaker 4: can do it too.
- 37:55Speaker 1: We're just girls. We're just hanging out and I know
- 37:57Speaker 1: that we've done the World House. But at the end
- 37:58Speaker 1: of the day, we just girls that have done the work.
- 38:00Speaker 4: And who love the work. I find a hidden limiting
- 38:05Speaker 4: belief or like a doubt, and I'm like.
- 38:07Speaker 1: She's going, yes, perfect, let's do the work. Yeah, I've
- 38:11Speaker 1: got more work to do. This was good.
- 38:12Speaker 4: I love a challenge, Georgie.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I have adored this conversation, and I just know that
- 38:16Speaker 1: my community is going to eat it up as much
- 38:18Speaker 1: as I have right now, like they are going to
- 38:21Speaker 1: be like Victoria. That was one of the best episodes,
- 38:23Speaker 1: So thank you so much for that. Thank you for
- 38:25Speaker 1: your time and I just you've shared so much like
- 38:29Speaker 1: your honesty, your insight, even just going back to yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: the numbers happen when you do the work on your mindset.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Is so true for anyone who isn't following along already,
- 38:39Speaker 1: which they absolutely should be. Where's the best place to
- 38:43Speaker 1: find exactly what you're up to it?
- 38:45Speaker 4: It was just my personal instagram, Georgie Stevenson or Naked Harvest
- 38:49Speaker 4: or all of them, Naked Harvest's Instagram, whatever you feel.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Like, Oh my goodness, well, thank you so much for
- 38:54Speaker 1: being on the show. And guys, if you loved this
- 38:57Speaker 1: chat just as much as I did and you want
- 38:59Speaker 1: a little bit more behind the scenes stories from brilliant
- 39:02Speaker 1: business owners just like Georgie, make sure you head over
- 39:05Speaker 1: to the business Biable feed. I'm going to pop a
- 39:07Speaker 1: link in the show notes for you because we're going
