- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by the hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's Adam here and you're about to listen to a love and
- 0:43relationship hypnosis session. All about feeling worthy of
- 0:48having a good relationship and love and I was working with a
- 0:54client that because. Of her.
- 0:56Early experiences where they felt used and exploited, they
- 1:02had a very high standard before they would let someone get too
- 1:07close. And what they did is it meant
- 1:09that they could filter out those people that weren't that
- 1:12interested. But equally they had a fear of
- 1:16being either rejected or abandoned.
- 1:21Or what they would do is after a while, after that initial
- 1:24period, their validation, their self worth was dependent on the
- 1:29person that they're with. And that can happen to a lot of
- 1:33people where rather than valuing yourself and valuing the
- 1:37relationship, if your value is dependent on being seen with or
- 1:41known with or being attached to that particular person, that can
- 1:46form a, an an element of dependency and attachment, which
- 1:52can lead to bad decision making and tolerating things that might
- 1:56not be for the greater good. Now, because this had happened
- 2:00and was a pattern across many relationships, this hypnosis
- 2:04session starts with letting go of emotional baggage.
- 2:09And there's a metaphor of filling the weight.
- 2:11Of all of those. Things like rejection,
- 2:13abandonment, anxiety, sadness, betrayal, all of those things.
- 2:17Letting go of that and then imagining meeting themselves
- 2:22where they are fully worthy of love and it's that worthiness
- 2:28which we're priming. So they get a sense that if they
- 2:31have that full worthiness of love, how would their criteria
- 2:35change? What would they accept and what
- 2:38wouldn't they accept? And sometimes there is this push
- 2:42and pull dynamic in relationships.
- 2:44Someone might have a really high standard, but equally be
- 2:48terrified of that commitment, in which case they might create an
- 2:53element of distance. And that might be long distance
- 2:55relationships, it might be emotional distance.
- 2:58These patterns can play out which ensure the variety of you
- 3:03try relationship doesn't work out, you end and then you find a
- 3:06new relationship. And I've worked with some
- 3:08clients that unconsciously that's what they want.
- 3:12They don't want that stable thing forever.
- 3:15They just want to have something new.
- 3:17And this guarantees that cycle continues.
- 3:20This client did not want that. What they wanted is something
- 3:23stable, something secure. But part of their pattern to
- 3:26keep them safe was sabotaging the very thing that they wanted.
- 3:30So if you can relate or resonate with any of these themes or
- 3:33ideas, you might get some value from this session.
- 3:36And if you want something created just for you, have a
- 3:40look at my website or in the description and the website
- 3:43isadamcox.co.uk and the description.
- 3:46If you click more info or more details close to this episode,
- 3:50you should be able to see lots of resources that are free and
- 3:54you can find out how to work with me there.
- 3:56For now though, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 3:58won't be distracted or disturbed.
- 4:01Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep.
- 4:10Breath in. And as you breathe in, breathe
- 4:14in a wonderful feeling of calm, and as you exhale, fill a
- 4:20wonderful feeling of release, breathing in relaxation and
- 4:28exhaling tension, and just allow your breath to represent the
- 4:35feeling of waves rolling in and then receding into the sea.
- 4:43And I wonder if you could imagine what it would feel like
- 4:47to be on a sandy beach in Costa Rica, under blue skies and
- 4:53sunshine. Perhaps you could imagine a day
- 5:00not of big waves, but small waves, rising and falling.
- 5:08That's it. Just allow your eyelids to get
- 5:11heavier, your jaw to become loose.
- 5:16Each breath takes you deeper and deeper.
- 5:21Relaxed. That's it.
- 5:25And the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you feel.
- 5:32And the more relaxed you feel, the deeper you breathe.
- 5:38And I wonder if you could imagine.
- 5:42Imagine keeping your physical body there and just imagine.
- 5:50Somewhere nearby to that beach are cliffs overlooking the
- 5:55ocean. Even if they didn't exist in
- 5:59reality, you can create them in your imagination and just allow
- 6:05your conscious mind to float off into a deep sleep there on the
- 6:11beach, and imagine what it would be like to be up on the
- 6:16clifftops looking down at you on the beach and the ocean below.
- 6:25And I want you to imagine holding 2 empty suitcases, one
- 6:31in each hand, there on the clifftops.
- 6:36And you know they're empty because they're light.
- 6:40But as you breathe in and breathe out, we're going to fill
- 6:44those suitcases with the emotional baggage of the past.
- 6:51Because sometimes emotions stay inside for moments that have
- 6:57long since passed. And I want you to scan your body
- 7:04for any feelings of hurt, any emotional pain, any betrayal,
- 7:12any pain that comes from deceit. And for some people, it's
- 7:17lurking in their heart or their gut or deep in their solar
- 7:22plexus. And I want you to imagine when
- 7:26you identify it, you can move it and just imagine that pain, that
- 7:33hurt, moving from wherever it is down your arms into the
- 7:38suitcases and feel the suitcases getting heavier and heavier.
- 7:47And then I want you to scan your body for any anger.
- 7:54Maybe it's the anger of something that should have
- 7:58happened and didn't, maybe anger directed at yourself or someone
- 8:03else. But sometimes anger is in the
- 8:07jaw or in the pit of the gut. Wherever it is, start to move
- 8:17that anger from you down into those suitcases, feeling them
- 8:23get heavier and heavier. That's it.
- 8:31And then scan your body for any regret.
- 8:38And there are two main regrets. The regret of not doing
- 8:46something you wish you did, or doing something you wish you
- 8:50didn't. And sometimes that regret can
- 8:57feel like unfinished business. Sometimes it links to guilt or
- 9:02shame. Located and move it down into
- 9:08the suitcases as they feel heavier and heavier.
- 9:18I want you to scan your body now for any feelings of frustration.
- 9:33Move it from your body into the suitcases because frustration
- 9:39left unresolved can turn into hopelessness or helplessness, A
- 9:46feeling of why bother, what's the point?
- 9:50Not again to find that frustration and any early signs
- 9:57of hopelessness or helplessness. Move it from your body into the
- 10:02suitcases there on the top of that Cliff side.
- 10:08And notice how heavy those suitcases are feeling now,
- 10:14filled with that emotional baggage.
- 10:19And what if these emotions are leading your mind to protect you
- 10:25in ways that feel helpful, but actually create more of exactly
- 10:31what you don't want? Everyone knows someone whose
- 10:38heart's in the right place, but whenever they try to help, they
- 10:42make things worse. And what if that was happening
- 10:47inside you, a part of you trying to help, but in helping in the
- 10:53way that it's helping impedes your ability to find what you
- 10:59truly desire. And I want you to imagine your
- 11:05body is now searching for anything else, any emotions,
- 11:09beliefs, any blocks that are getting in the way of you
- 11:16feeling worthy to have what you truly desire.
- 11:22Any of those blocks, echoes of emotions, move them from you
- 11:27into the bags and feel just how heavy those bags are now and at
- 11:35the point where your unconscious mind is willing to extract all
- 11:40the wisdom from the past. But let go of the emotions and
- 11:44the emotional baggage. Let me know by nodding your
- 11:46head. That's it.
- 11:49And I want you to feel. How liberated you feel to not
- 11:54just drop the bags over the edge of the Cliff, but hurl them into
- 11:58the ocean. Not just one, but both.
- 12:01And when you've imagined hurling the suitcases into the ocean,
- 12:09but keeping all of the wisdom and none of the pain.
- 12:13No regret, no resentment. Just let me know by nodding your
- 12:16head. And I want you to imagine that
- 12:21you feel lighter because all those heavy emotions are no
- 12:24longer there. And I want you to imagine we're
- 12:29going to replace the void of those heavy emotions that you've
- 12:34let go of with something much more useful.
- 12:43I want you to replace them with two key emotions.
- 12:47Worthiness and self love because the moment the love comes from
- 12:56you, you could want it from others but not need it.
- 13:02And the moment you feel worthy, you're not dependent on putting
- 13:09someone else on a pedestal to give you a sense of worth.
- 13:15I want you to imagine a colour that represents worthiness and a
- 13:20colour that represents self love and imagine breathing those
- 13:24colours in feel like it's charging up the power bank that
- 13:33was depleted. And I want you to imagine every
- 13:40time you breathe in, you're breathing in pure self love,
- 13:45pure worthiness. And when your unconscious feels
- 13:52that you can say with 100% truth and certainty that you are
- 13:57worthy and you love yourself unconditionally, then let me
- 14:03know by nodding your head. That's it.
- 14:06And now you have this. In the same way that a candle
- 14:14can light another candle without losing its own flame, I want you
- 14:20to feel that now is the time to go back to a memory.
- 14:26And each time you listen to this, you can go back to a
- 14:28different memory. But for now, think of one time
- 14:34either right before or just after a relationship, and when
- 14:42there's a memory coming to mind and you remember your age and
- 14:46location back then, let me know by nodding your head.
- 14:51That's it. And I want you to imagine
- 14:54floating back to that memory at that point in time, but almost
- 15:01with X-ray vision, so you can evaluate how much self love and
- 15:07worthiness that version of you had at that point in time.
- 15:14And if from this perspective, you can feel that part of you
- 15:19was trying to get the love or the feeling of self worth from
- 15:25the relationship itself, let me know by nodding your head.
- 15:32That's it. And I want you to listen to that
- 15:39younger version of you. I tell them they are worthy,
- 15:45whether they are in a relationship or not.
- 15:50They are worthy of love. They are worthy of attention, of
- 15:56connection. And I want you to imagine that
- 16:01feeling that you have now of 100% worthiness and self love.
- 16:08You can give it to that version of you, you can charge their
- 16:13power bank. And then imagine what would have
- 16:18happened if that version of you had all of that self love, all
- 16:27of that worthiness that you didn't need it from the
- 16:31relationship. You could have liked it, desired
- 16:35it, wanted it, but not needed it and just observe like a
- 16:41invisible observer seeing what would have happened back in the
- 16:46past if that version of you didn't need the validation, the
- 16:52affection, the attention from that individual.
- 16:56You had more than enough within. Maybe you can see how the power
- 17:01dynamic shifted, how your boundaries became stronger, how
- 17:07your discernment changed naturally, and if it seems like
- 17:13that version of you from the past with this 100% worthiness
- 17:18and self love. Was able to.
- 17:22Subtly do things differently to increase the probability of more
- 17:27of what you wanted and less of what you didn't.
- 17:31Let me know by nodding your head.
- 17:34That's it. I tell that younger version of
- 17:37you that you are proud of them, they are desirable.
- 17:45Tell that version of them they don't need to fight to be
- 17:54needed. Tell that younger version of you
- 17:57that for the right person, they will make the effort not to jump
- 18:04through hoops, but because they desire to be with you.
- 18:12Empower that version of you to be discerning and open, to be
- 18:21trusting but not naive, and to feel that you want love without
- 18:28ever being dependent on it. Give that younger version of you
- 18:34a hug. Tell them wonderful things are
- 18:38in their future. And then float back to the top
- 18:44of the cliffs, seeing the suitcases floating off into the
- 18:47ocean, feeling light, feeling lurk worthy, feeling infinite
- 18:53self love from within. And as you walk back down to the
- 18:58beach to reconnect with that other version of you, I want you
- 19:04to feel a rising sense of optimism and a rising sense of
- 19:11positivity. That whatever changes are
- 19:15required to increase the probability of getting what you
- 19:20truly desire will come to you in insights, epiphanies, and sudden
- 19:27realizations either instantly or or over the next few days.
- 19:34Like a penny dropping. It will be obvious something new
- 19:38to do, a new boundary, a new way of thinking.
- 19:47And as you hold that thought, return back to that version of
- 19:50you sleeping on the beach and then leave the beach.
- 19:56And Phil, It's time to return to the present, leaving all of that
- 19:59baggage behind, retaining all of the wisdom, but returning with
- 20:04full self worth and self love. As I shortly count from 1:00 to
- 20:1010:00 to awaken you. So take a deep breath in through
- 20:12your nose and out through your nose.
- 20:17Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 20:20Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 20:25from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 20:29Starting to count 123. Waking up 456.
- 20:35More alert 7-8 Open your eyes. Open your eyes 910.
- 20:41Wide awake. Wide awake.
- 20:43Wide awake. Thank you.
