- 0:02SPEAKER_01: All right, all y'all.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: My name is Dr.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: Brett Brimhall.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Wednesday Wellness.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Excited that you're here.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: We've been doing this.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: We actually had a conversation with a group of us that started this a couple of years ago.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: We are up to like 160 of these almost now.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Which is pretty amazing to think about it.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: And just excited to spend a little time with you and answer some questions that I think many people ask.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: And I got Dr.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Bueller honest.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Dr.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Bueller's a man member of the Science Advisory Board for Life Vantage.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: I got a chance to work with her a lot over the last uh six, seven years, however long it's been now.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: She's a whiz when it comes to chiropractic, but functional medicine and supplementation.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: She's been using it a lot, both in her own family and other patients.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: And so we're going to have a little fun tonight talking about some of the questions we get all the time.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: And hopefully set some real clear clarity for each of you about supplements, the difference in them, how to know if you're getting what you're paying for, and why you might consider specific ones.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: So I know, Dr.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Bueller, anything you want to kind of start off with before I ask you some questions?
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, I think this is just a really popular thing for people to ask.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: And I think there's a lot of confusion in the market space and a lot of bombardment with information.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: So I think this is a really good topic to bring because as physicians, we often get these questions or are helping our patients to go through those, but not everyone has access to, you know, a physician that's on their team either.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I think it's been great.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: This will be fun.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: It's and it's kind of interesting.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: I remember when I started practice a long time ago, and my dad started practice in 1971.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: And they were taught nothing about nutrition in school in 1971.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: And the only nutrition that they learned in school that called a c called a nutrition bring for coffee and donuts in school back in the 70s.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: And when we first came out of school, he started, you know, asking the question is there any science on nutrition?
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: And he started realizing there's a ton of ton of information out there.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: So one of the questions I have for you, like, first of all, like you know, this I'll show you guys a lot.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Can people get everything they need from supplements?
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, everything, can they get everything that they need from diet in this day and age?
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: You know, I think once upon a time, we used to at least, you know, if you were, you know, eating more of a Whole Foods diet, you could get the majority of what you needed from your food.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: And I think our food quality is going down along with the quality of our soils.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: And I and I say that coming from a farmer's wife.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And we do soil sampling.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: They basically take samples out of the ground, you know, all over your field and see where what nutrients need to be balanced to try to plant and also fertilize based on what your what your soils are showing.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: But just I just think our soils are are depleted and our foods are less have less quality than they once did too.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And even the person that's trying to eat, trying to eat, you know, as organic and clean as they can and trying to eat the way the food pyramid actually should have been designed years ago, with the vegetables at the top, and then the fruits and the whole meats, and that just really thinking about what you can eat that is an ingredient instead of eating things that are full of ingredients.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Even if you're doing that, you're gonna be deficient, you're gonna be lacking.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: And it's it's just the reality of where we are right now is that you're gonna require some additional support.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Now, yeah, because you need ground in the farming, I would imagine you guys have to add things to your soil all the time.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: And if it's not in the soil, y'all, it's not in your foods.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: And if you really look at your diet, like you should have about 70% of your food raw.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Like if you really look at diet.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: So how many of us actually do that?
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: How many of us eat seven to ten servings of fruits and vegetables a day?
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: And and that's if if your food's actually grown on good soils.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: So there's there's a reason why supplementation, the AMA said almost, you know, 20 years ago, American Medical Association, that supplementation is actually something we should all do.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: So uh Dr.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Bureau and I want to talk a little bit about the difference between supplement.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: I know you and I, we have been in this space a really long time.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Are all supplements the same?
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: So definitely not.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: So there's definitely, you know, even if you're looking for something familiar that somebody might think is familiar, like like fish oil or vitamin C, every different company will have not only their their version of it, but the the the form that it's in, the how it's how it's the harvested or how it's collected, how it's what's what happens to get it from you know, farm to to to supplement, that whole process is so varying that you know, to just tell somebody to go get vitamin C would be like the last thing I would do to someone.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I remember for years recommending fish oil to people, and they would maybe get it in the office like one time and then come back, and they're like, oh my gosh, doc, I found this amazing, ginormous bottle of fish oil.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: You know, like I got this thing at Sam's Club and it's the same thing, and it's totally not the same thing.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: So there's definitely a huge variety of things in it, and you know, not only like checking to see what is not in something, but also what is in something.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And and then if it's in a form your body can recognize, or if it's in a totally different form, too, like all those things matter.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's kind of funny.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: I always laugh when I see that because people come with these big old bottles official specifically.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, so you need old sushi, huh?
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: That makes sense to me.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: And is that so that's one thing to keep in mind, guys, is is that when you when you read the ingredients on any bottle of stuff, understand like if you walk into Sprouts or Walmart, and by the way, Walmart's one of the biggest resellers of supplements in the world, right?
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: Which is a problem, like i i in my world.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: So like I don't know, I don't know if I touch touch trust Sam Walton to give me my my supplements, not sure what his degrees are on that, but people are looking for solutions, so we want you to kind of like consider where you're getting them from, and and like make sure they're giving you what you need.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: Because most people, when they're taking a supplement, they're taking it for a reason, like they're hoping to like accomplish a certain thing, and there's definitely a difference in quality.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: And so, Dr.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: Jess, what would you look for in a in a company?
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: Like, do you like hey, I'm you know, because you and I we have people come to us all the time for products, we take tons of seminars.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: So, what are some of the things that you look for in a company when you're trying to decide, okay, this is a quality supplement?
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: It's not always based on price.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Like that's that's the reality.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: Like, what you know, because if you're the most expensive supplement in my world is one that doesn't work.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Like I've always said that, like it's just it is a reality.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Like if it doesn't give me what you're looking for, then it's not it's it's it's it's it's expensive because it's not working.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: So, what do you look for when you're looking for companies to partner with in regards to supplements?
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: And what and then we'll kind of talk about so supplements are very different than what we call activator supplements, or you're trying to offset deficiencies that are in your diet or you know, like thereof.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: And then there's what is called activators, but when you look for a company, like what do you look for?
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, golly.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, I want to know what their standards are.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Like, do they randomly batch test?
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: Did they did they test every single batch?
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: That's a huge one for me.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Who owns the company?
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Who profits when the company makes money?
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: And that's that's become a really big problem in the US too, because uh, well, honestly, since the 70s when Big Tobacco started buying out, you know, our food, they also figured out that they could purchase supplement companies too.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: And just like there's a lot of big companies when we look at, you know, who owns it, that would be one thing.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Like, who's profiting if we buy it?
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: That's something that's huge to me.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: Who's on who's on their who's on their board?
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Who serves on it?
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Who's what kind of research do they have?
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Is it only done by the company?
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: Is there any come any done by anybody else?
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Do they have third-party testing on their products?
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think one thing that was really stood out with Light Vantage was every single batch is tested.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: That was the very first company I've ever partnered with.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Every single batch was tested.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: And that that's huge.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: The quality standards, usually, when you look at, you know, not to go into any of the details, but if you just think of it, how many steps they take, you know, this the less steps somebody's taking to give you something, the worse, right?
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: So we want to have it be like this long process of things that happen before it comes to us.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: That was another thing that I really like looking to a company to see what they're doing to make sure that what we're getting is something that's, you know, it's bioavailable.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: Our bodies can actually use it.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: It's in a form that we're we're we're gonna be able to do.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And it's not filled with a bunch of fillers, um, you know, and other garbage stuff that I absolutely would teach all of my patients, like, if it has an artificial sweetener, do not put it in your body.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Like anything that says sucralose, aspartame, any of that, sugar-free, like I'm gonna be having my eyebrows up looking at that one real fast.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: But just looking at companies that maybe have some core values, like a mission, what what are they, what are they, what do they specialize in and or what makes their stuff unique?
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: And then do they have anything to back it up?
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: What's what's their research look like?
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: And those are kind of my big ones when I look at a company.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: Some of the key ones that I heard you say that I would 100% agree with is the process, like and the the testing, the batching, both in where they get their ingredients and testing the ingredients when they come in, testing the uh ingredients once they go out, and then testing every batch.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: What I most companies do I think the rule is they have to test like every third or seven batch depending on the company.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: But life managers want to test every batch.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: And I think that's super unique and and cool.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: And then life managers specifically being a publicly traded company, there are different levels of scrutiny involved, like if and again, who gets paid?
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: Case in point, like Thorn, which you and I both know of this company known for years, they just got bought up by a pharmaceutical.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: And so who is it that owns supplementation out there?
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: And uh it are they really in the space of health?
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: And is they are they gonna start taking cut in corners because of that?
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: And and unfortunately, it's it can happen.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: So I I love that you brought those key elements up.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And I know for you and I, like I I like use of like who's on their board, like because I've seen both.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: And I what I do find unique about Life Ann is there's obviously this governing board of business people, but there's also a governing board of like people that are in clinical practice too.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: So that blend of research, like PhDs, and then people in the clinical field, I think it's a very unique perspective in in how and which the supplementation is is approached.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: So I I love that.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: So one thing I I know you and I we use supplements for years, right?
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Now, most people like again, hopefully good and look at quality, guys, for sure.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Like, look at what their sourcing is, because and also look what else is in it that shouldn't be in it.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Like, if I'm taking a vitamin D and has soybean oil in it, I'm like, that shouldn't be there.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: If you got a fish fish oil and you have soybean oil in it, like why is that there?
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: So just keep those sort of things in mind.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: Don't buy a big bottle of fish oil, please.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: That's just kind of a pet peeve of mine because really I'm like, you never eat old sushi.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: And how long is so if it's a big bottle, it's gotta have something in it to allow it to sit for long periods of time, and that's not a good idea.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Uh but one of the key things that it's I know that sets a life advantage apart differently, because you and I, we've made our life of like helping people get better from one, if they're they're not feeling well, and two, like helping people like stay well.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: And I think they're just a hugely important part of supplementing, like making sure you're getting the body what it needs dietarily wise and also from supplements.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: So if they don't have enough vitamin D or they don't have enough B12 folic acid, like they need those things.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: But there's this concept that's obviously very unique in why they're different when it comes to life panels, like activation.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: So like that's the key element that's different about this company.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: I wouldn't even call it a I can't really call it even a supplement because supplements are diff are addressing deficiencies.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: That's it, that's a true definition of supplement.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: An activator is what are you asking me?
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: I want to hear the smart person.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Well, an activator is gonna turn on your innate ability to produce it, to produce something that it once was, that's either been dimmed or turned off based on your lifestyle choices.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: And I, you know, just like we can't eat enough to not need a supplement, you can't supplement enough to make up for a poor diet either.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: So you you can't just say, like, okay, well, if we get the right supplements, you know, even with activation and the right supplements with a poor diet, there's still gonna be things that are just a little, a little bit off.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: We have to have that foundation of food first.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: And having that foundation of activation is gonna allow you to get more out of the food that you're putting in and also the the nutrients, the extra supplements that you're adding to it as well.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: How many years have you been in practice now?
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Um eighteen.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: Eighteen.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: And so you've used supplementation your whole practice.
- 13:41unknown: Yes.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: So tell me the difference in what you have seen when you applied using activation.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: So and activation, we want you guys to understand it's it's a combination of very specific herbs and and nutrients put together in a way that turns on cellular switches.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: Like we all know about glutathione.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: We've heard this idea that there's antioxidants called glutathione, like vitamin C is an antioxidant, glutathione is a much more potent antioxidant, but your body makes it.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: Now it needs ingredients to make it, but there's actually an assembly line in your cells that makes this stuff.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: And it's controlled by a switch, like a light switch called NRF2.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: If you can get this switch to turn on, there's more potential inside the cell that it's producing.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: And we get older, it doesn't work as well.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: And I know Dr.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: Jess and I both focus a lot on this activation as a foundational piece because if you don't activate to turn on the body's production of the of the what the cell can do, you're not gonna get the production of what you need.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: And you're you're gonna basically play a much slower game to help people get well.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: So it can maybe give us a perspective of what you see when you get the use of activation and how you see that playing a role.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: And because I know with supplements, like you you're starting to hear words out there like an activation, but do but how do we know it really does that?
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I mean, I do think there's there's obviously um before you start any product, you kind of have to know like, you know, if you're struggling with a certain thing or like a certain thing you're your a certain variable you're hoping to see and a certain outcome with, or, you know, the things that we can track.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: You know, there's different tracking devices where you can check your heart rate variability, your oxygenation, your sleep quality, your your overall readiness for the day, right?
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Like, or your blood sugar, or your blood pressure, your you can also do lab work before and after you're starting something.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's definitely different ways you can kind of track, but then also like how are you feeling?
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: What are you noticing on your skin or on your hair?
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Like anytime there's a change in your skin or your hair, you know you're making, you're making some good changes in the the cells that replicate the most.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: So I definitely think there's there's some of those just overall, you know, if you're maintaining a healthy weight, you're able to recover from your exercise.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: Some of the basic things, I think people forget that those basic things are the big things.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Like if you can get up and down from a chair, right?
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: If you can get off the floor and stand back up, if you can do whatever it is that you're you desire to do, like those are big things.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: That's that's flexibility and and time and the ability to continue to move into years of your life, those big things.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: So I think the thing with activation for me, even personally, was being able to go from you know, just feeling like, okay, this is this must just be what it's like to be 35, to like, oh wow, like now that I'm activated, like so many things just changed for me.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: And I was able to reduce how many supplements I needed to maintain that feeling.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: So, and that's just me personally, and then also getting to experience that with patients and customers and team that, you know, not just the team in my practice or in my area, but but team in just even broader than that.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: And I think that's one really huge thing about this is that activation, like the way that we do our studies on it, you know, we're we're starting with the like cell line studies, we're seeing what it does to the gene expression, and then we're getting to human clinical studies, and then we're going for patents.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: So we really go all in on finding what we can do to prove that what we're doing is actually doing what we say it does.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: And once you have that evidence, then there's confidence with being able to share with someone, like, hey, you know, that there's a study that shows with our ProTandum and our up2 activator that if 10,000 people take it, 9,999 are gonna get the anticipated result.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: And I never recommended a single supplement that had that kind of reputation, not one.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: And there's just so even if you're, you know, you're not sure, like, okay, is this doing what is it doing?
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Like that's what I like about the way that we do our research is that by the time we get it to you, we know it's going to do what we say it's going to do inside of you.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: So I think there's obviously the way that you feel matters, but also, you know, those other stats matter.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: Like what you look like in labs matters.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Like not having things is that matters.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Like not having any conditions, not having any symptoms, maintaining healthy weight, sleeping, you know, having regular bowel movements, like just the basic stuff is the big stuff.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: I'm sure you've never heard this, but it drives me a little crazy when somebody says I'm healthy and they're on like five medications.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Totally healthy.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: I'm on five meds.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: I'm like, okay, you're on five meds, so you're needing help for five different things.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: No, one thing I heard you say, which I really appreciated, is I think I I've seen the same thing.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: I've realized that as people are activated, they need less supplements.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: Like if we talk about activating, there's key, there's key activators that that regulate how the body controls inflammation.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: There's key activators that regulate how the body makes energy, there's key activators that regulate microbiome health, and there's key activators that regulate metabolism.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: And I've like you, I've seen as I've used activation as kind of a foundational piece in that category, then they they need less actual supplementation.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: So I know this has happened to you, it's happened to me all the time.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: People bring in 20 supplements, right?
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: I'm sure you've seen buckets of that, I've paid more or two, right?
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: How do you just how do you help them decide like which ones that you had and take?
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: So if it's if it's a patient, it's in my office, I I use muscle testing.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: So the always the first question I like to ask with a supplement is are you allergic?
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: You know, because I want a yes or no to that.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: If you're allergic to it specifically, that's an issue.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: And then is this something you need?
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Is this something you need right now?
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: And there's so there, so you get a kind of a baseline answer on on some of the products.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Uh also reading those labels, same thing.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: And oh, and do you know why you're taking this?
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: What are you taking?
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: Why are you taking it?
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: And uh you'd be surprised how many people are taking a lot of things they don't even know why they're taking, or someone told them to take it, and they still don't know if they're even getting anything with it.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: So whenever I have somebody comes with the, I like to call it the bag of worms.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: It's like the magic box of like, oh, hey, here, should I take all these things?
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Well, there's that's still an experiment within you.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: Do you think there's a study that was ever done with the same 20 products you just brought in to me to see what could happen inside your body?
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Like, well, you are the science experiment.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: How do you feel on that?
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: And if they're still struggling, I'm like, okay, well, let's see what your body is in for and let's see what it's out for and what your actual outcomes are.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: And if these are the things, like, what can we do to support your body better than just giving you 20 things?
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: And it's never my goal to just give somebody something more.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: It's to find out what their body actually needs to just be optimized.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: And I I think if we can get that base of activation starting and then add on whatever else they need, if they need anything else, it just makes it so much better.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Well, when you talk about your so your foundational pieces of activation would be what?
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: For again, let's just say the the average, not say a normal.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: I don't want normal, but like say here, here's what I would love to do.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: Now let's just say you yourself, you yourself.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: Like what is it, what is it you do activation wise, and what is it you do supplementation wise?
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: I had people ask me all the time, what do you do?
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: Because obviously I think I do for an average person just because I what I know.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: I do too.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Like I I don't think people really want to follow me around necessarily and do my regimen, but I I don't expect to have many patients like that.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: They're in compliance would be really low.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: I know, because I'm, you know, I'm married and I have children, and their compliance is a little lower too.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: But so I I love having a tri-synergizer with a liquid collagen and axiom.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: What are those things?
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Like tri-synergizer.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Okay, great.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: The protonum NRF2, so that activates your body's ability to make antioxidants and turns on your the human survival gene system.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: That's our flagship activator.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: And then Protandum NRF1, that's for mitochondria.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: So it helps your body to produce energy, helps with sleep and metabolism, energy.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: It's really just think of it like your the mitochondria is the energy powerhouse of your cells.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: Whatever the cell's job is, it does it better when you have that on board.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: And then protandem NAD.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: And this is going to be like it helps your body to produce sirtuins.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: It's like all the benefits of fasting in a bottle.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: And when you put the three of them together, it's literally like just amping up your body's system.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of the main engine system.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: We see changes in detoxification, the healthy inflammatory response, energy, sleep, focus, mood, all the things.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: And then the liquid collagen activator.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: And we have the studies on this is cool, you guys, because we have studies on each of those three independently, and then and then the study on the three together.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: And then we have that flagship pro tandem product again, studied with the liquid collagen.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: And that stack is called the healthy glow.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: And I I love to call that the chiropractor's BFF.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: That stack is the one I want every patient on.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: If they will minimally just take one tablet and drink one delicious shot of collagen every day, it makes a huge difference.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: Just their ability to hold their adjustments.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: It cuts their stress load by a third.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: It doubles their collagen density in just eight weeks.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: So there's just a lot of science.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: And I'm maybe going in a little bit too much for the average person, but these are kind of the reason why I think these are such a big deal is collagen is just a major part of all of your body.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: It's not just your hair, skin, and nails.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: It's your lining of your heart and your brain and your lungs.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: It's it's your blood vessels.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: And y'all survived COVID, right?
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: That those spike proteins target your collagen lining.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: So we saw dramatic decreases in collagen in everyone with that, because those that as soon as it attaches to your collagen lining, it your body will create this self-eating mechanism to get it off of there.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: So we you we lost tons of collagen with that.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: So just the the time framing, the timing of that collagen coming out and what was going on in the world was just massive.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: It's like an innovation within a like a decades-old category, right?
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Like everybody's heard of collagen, but nobody has a collagen activator where it literally turns on your genes to produce more collagen.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: I love how you would, but go ahead.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: No.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: I said I love how you kind of some of this words are new to you guys, and I mean some of this is not new.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: Just start digging into a little bit this idea of activation.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: It's very different than supplementation.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: And what Dr.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: Jess is saying is the way life vanish formulates, it helps your body optimize the the production of what it needs.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: And I tell people the way you did understand this is that your cells are like a community.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: Every cell is its own community, and then the cells have a community.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: They have to have a sanitation department.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: They have to have a they have to have a you know a source of energy, and they have to have it, they have to have a defense system, communication and defense system.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: Like these things have to work together.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: So the NRF2 system, the one that is one that regulates repair and inflammation.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: It's part of the defense system too.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: This the NAD is actually part of it, that's the that's the communication system, that's a certain and then Nerf1, that's the that's your integration.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: So when you think about how you feel right now, and that's how you feel physically, mentally, and emotionally, how well you regulate.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: So if you're looking, hey, is what you're doing working?
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: I want you to just really assess like how how well do you regulate?
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: Like how how well do you regulate your temperature, how to regulate how well you regulate your emotions, how well do you adapt to stress?
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: Like that's a really good indicator.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: Like how well you sleep, how fast you recover, like that's a really good indicator, cater uh as to like really the health of your system.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: Because if you're having to use outside things, like you know, medications or otherwise to manage a symptom, that means your self, your your your system that God has designed for you is not regulating on its own.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: And it's because one of those five primary systems are having a problem.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: And I the other activator besides our brain activator, which that that's been an incredible, incredible gift as well.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Just the ability to have those neurotransmitters in your brain attached to the appropriate receptors, and it's just instant.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: And then the gut activator, P84, and it's named that because there are 84 ingredients in it for the gut, and that helps your body to make key gut peptides.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: But I think the most the most fabulous thing about it, when I first saw it, I was like, okay, like that's everything but the kitchen sink in one thing.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: Like, how, like, how is that even gonna be possibly like the right amounts of this and that to get to get that outcome?
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: Because I don't know about you about Dr.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: Brad, but I'm used to having where, you know, to restore somebody's gut, it might take six, seven, eight, nine products and different ratios to get to get a gut to balance.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: And this, so I was definitely hesitant, 100% hesitant, but it's the first product.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, like the first two days, I was like, okay, this is like drinking swamp water.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: And by the third day, it sounds so good.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah, no, I'm I'm telling you guys, like, like being totally honest.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: The third day, I was like, okay, I want it.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm, I am, I was craving it already by the third day, but your biome has to change a little bit for your taste buds to change.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: Like, some sometimes people forget that.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Like, your taste comes from your biome.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: That biome is in your mouth and it's all the way down, all the way to the out, right?
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: So you so that's the first gut product I've ever been able to take where it was one product, all inclusive.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm not having to do prebiotic, probiotic, postbiotic enzymes, apple cider vinegar, fermented things, fruits, greens, like all the stuff in one place.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: And, you know, just having a bowel movement within three to four hours every single time I eat.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: It's the only product I've ever taken that has has effectively done that for me.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: And not just me, but many patients, many customers and consultants.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: And so that one's that one's big too.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: And then as far as regular sub regular supplementing, just you know, the fish oil is definitely a staple for me.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: That kind of has always been I like whole food supplements as much as possible versus, you know, a lot of products out there, like someone's trying to play the mad scientist, like, okay, we uh we were always taught in school like a multivitamin is like the most expensive pee you've ever had.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: And it's not because multivitamins are expensive, it's because the the ratios that they put things in there don't they allow they put like competing ingredients.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: So you put it in and you're basically gonna pee it out, right?
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Like nobody wants to do that.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: But that was like always the standard medical recommendation for years was a multivitamin.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: Anyone have that experience?
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: Like, so I I love when you can get a supplement in a like a whole food form that where it's like beef liver.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna eat beef liver, but I will take a beef liver supplement.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: You know, yeah.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: Mostly what I take are activators, unless I'm taking something for a specific purpose at some at some point in time.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: I love the way you said that.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: I'm the same way I do muscle tests and I do the lab or both.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: And so I what I would say is if if you're really trying to really build your system, if you want to have a foundation, if you and not saying you have to do this, but be like, hey, I really want to do is just really optimize my system, I would do the P84 system first, get my gut super healthy, add the activators.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: I ideally would be the tricinergator with the collagen.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: Now, if you're one of your major goals is brain health, that's the axial.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: Now, why would I use these other other supplements?
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: Because they aren't supplements or activators.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: Now, you still, in my opinion, like I still do lab work on myself and other patients as well, as well as these muscle testing, to assess like is it working?
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: Because there are sometimes different things going on you need to address.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Now, I love the things you've told us, Dr.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: Jazz, and I I do I also love your perspective.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, because obviously you you and you and I are probably do we kind of overkill on ourselves, like we take probably more than we should, but it's because we want to perform at a certain level.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: Uh I always really encourage each of you to do something.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: You know, whatever your budget is financially, stick with that, but make sure you're doing that which would give you the most results.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: And it's really important to understand the companies you're working with, understand what the goal of the actual product is.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: If the goal is just to be a better vitamin D, like there's a trillion of them out there, it's not the same thing as something that's been shown to extend the lifespan of mammals.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: Like so that it's very different in what you're doing.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: And that's what we're talking about, the science, if this is kind of new to you, understand that this is new science and it will be m much more common in the next 10 to 20 years, but you are new to the party.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: And so it's really important to understand like if this is new, like just do some digging and you know, talk to whoever invited you to this and really get your question to answer, but also give it time because when you showed up today, it's a result of what you what has been going on in your life for 10 and 20 years.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: Many of us.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: And to expect it to change in two weeks is not a reality.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: And we want it, I want to, I want to activate you or you've been deactivated.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: And we can do we and if you do that the right way, you'll see massive changes.
- 33:01SPEAKER_01: So, Dr.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: Jess, any final thoughts?
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I just start with activation.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: If you're not sure what to do, start with activation.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: Even without labs, even without monitoring, you know, like having a device to monitor anything, even without muscle testing, just I the science behind the activation is so incredible.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Um, and there's so much confidence there that what we have is what you when you put it in your body, it's gonna do what it says it's going to do.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: So I just think start with activation and then you know, build from there.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: I think one of the things that you said really caught my attention.
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: And so if you guys don't know Dr.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: Jess really well, like she's crazy intelligent.
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: So she reads all the studies.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: Like she has a box of all the studies.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: So she's read all those things.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: And when she said an in ago, like if you take a thousand people and you have them take protonum nerve two, uh basically 900, 900,000 of them are gonna get the desired outcome because it's based on activation and cell activation if they're human.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: It's gonna if the body's gonna produce now now, it may not give them the systematic improvement they're looking for because that maybe not the whole whole piece.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: Well, they didn't take it long enough, but because of the way these are designed, it turned on cell switches, you're gonna have the desired output that you're looking for.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: And that's a very unique way to study.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: It's not something I've ever seen in any other company.
- 34:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, and so it's just great to have that type of confidence on you and I could spend hours talking about patients we've watched, life change.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: And so that's why we foundationally do this a lot.
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: So appreciate your time tonight, Dr.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: I know you got a busy family family in life.
- 34:32SPEAKER_01: Um tell the kids hi for me.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: I don't do that.
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: Hey guys, good night.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: Hi.
