Transcript
- 0:28Hello everyone.
- 0:28Welcome back to another episode of Love Your Love Muscle,
- 0:32a biweekly podcast about heart focus, meditation, uh,
- 0:36heart focus, living self-regulating technique, everything
- 0:39that helps you to get through life, uh, in a positive,
- 0:45healthy, mental, healthy way as well.
- 0:48Uh, we talk about everything, uh, that has to do with that.
- 0:52So as you can see, we are out in nature again.
- 0:56Uh, and yeah, there's a lot of snow.
- 0:58It's not that cold though, uh, and there's not so much wind.
- 1:02So we are a little bit more exposed today. And, uh, yeah.
- 1:06Today I want to talk about cleansing.
- 1:08Uh, as you might have known, uh, for the Muslim population,
- 1:12Ramadan has started, uh, which I have, uh,
- 1:16some personal experiences with.
- 1:18I've participated in Ramadan
- 1:20because, uh, some of my colleagues are Muslim
- 1:22and they did it as well, and I said, I want to join in
- 1:25and see what it's like.
- 1:26And, uh, I didn't do the strict version.
- 1:28Uh, I did fast, of course,
- 1:30because that's the main point of it.
- 1:32Um, uh,
- 1:34but I didn't eat mid, in the middle of the night after sundown.
- 1:38Uh, I ate in the evening, but I didn't have any breakfast
- 1:42and I didn't have any lunch and nothing in between either.
- 1:45I just had some tea in the morning,
- 1:48so some tea in the morning,
- 1:49and, uh, dinner in the evening, and that was it.
- 1:52Uh, and just to experience the effects of what it is
- 1:56that fasting, uh, and, uh, they were very positive.
- 2:01I slept better, I was more concentrated.
- 2:05I also got more energy
- 2:06and realized how much in the Western world,
- 2:08especially we are overeating
- 2:11and having too much of everything basically.
- 2:15Uh, I also had better dreams, not like the topic is better,
- 2:19but I, uh, I had clearer dreams to say it that way.
- 2:24So yeah, there was a lot of positive, positive things with,
- 2:26uh, with Ramadan.
- 2:28Uh, and, um, I, it started now.
- 2:32I didn't join in, uh, this time, uh,
- 2:36but I wanted to do something else.
- 2:37And as you might know, a lot of things I say and preach
- 2:41and talk about when it comes
- 2:43to meditation are related to Buddhism.
- 2:45I have talked in, uh, for groups with Buddhists
- 2:49and Buddhist practitioners as well about, uh,
- 2:52the scientific aspects of meditation, self-regulation,
- 2:57which ties in, uh, very well with Buddhism
- 3:01and Buddhist teachers, uh, teachings.
- 3:04Uh, but, uh, when it comes to fasting, I didn't do anything
- 3:07that is Buddhist related, but I'm going to start now.
- 3:09This Tuesday, uh, there is this Buddhist practice where you,
- 3:14every, uh, time, the moon, the moon changes,
- 3:18so from full moon to half moon, et cetera, uh,
- 3:22you only eat in the mornings.
- 3:24Uh, and I did some research.
- 3:25This ties in perfectly well with
- 3:28what some nutritionists say about intermittent fasting,
- 3:32that you just some days in a week
- 3:35or at least one day a week, uh, fast, which means
- 3:39for the Buddhist practice I'm going to start, is, uh,
- 3:42just eating in the morning,
- 3:43and then nothing more that day until the next morning
- 3:46where you just eat again
- 3:48and then follow your daily routine
- 3:50with lunch and dinner as well.
- 3:52Uh, this gives your, um, digestive systems from rust,
- 3:56and it also has a cleansing effect, uh, which is
- 3:59what I experienced the most with Ramadan,
- 4:02is the cleansing effect.
- 4:04You called it a little bit.
- 4:05Uh, you lose some weight, of course, uh,
- 4:08but the whole practice gives more energy.
- 4:11And, um, I will
- 4:14report on if the same is happening after a while.
- 4:17I guess it'll take several months, uh,
- 4:20before I notice something.
- 4:23Uh, but I will report on that.
- 4:24Uh, and if you want to join, uh, I can, uh, give you a link
- 4:29to a calendar which you can follow along.
- 4:33Uh, and then, you know, the days where you should be fasting
- 4:37and you can join, join in, in that that way.
- 4:40So, yeah. So today's, uh, session
- 4:44is all about cleansing.
- 4:46Uh, we have a little bit of wind so we can use that.
- 4:51Uh, and I recommend you to listen to this podcast
- 4:54and watch this podcast, uh, outside as well in nature
- 4:58and experience a little bit of the same effects as
- 5:01what you would do when you are here with me right now.
- 5:05Um, yeah, that's all I want to say about that, uh, uh,
- 5:11for now, uh, cleansing, that's what it is about.
- 5:14Uh, oh, some other things.
- 5:17Uh, I will take that
- 5:18after we are done with the session, uh,
- 5:20some news about stuff coming up.
- 5:23But, uh, let's first do the session
- 5:25and then I'll come back to you with, uh,
- 5:28my final thoughts about Ramadan fasting cleansing
- 5:32and some news about, uh, what's going on, uh,
- 5:38with, uh, the transformation meditation group
- 5:40and new things to there being planned.
- 5:42Okay. See you during the session.
- 5:48All right, everyone. As you,
- 5:49you might have heard in the introduction, there's a lot
- 5:51of animal activity going on, uh,
- 5:57like a bird right now.
- 6:00And, uh, some, uh, dogs are here as well.
- 6:03And you might be able
- 6:05to hear some footsteps from people passing by too.
- 6:08And there's fresh snow, so you can hear that as well.
- 6:12And just let it happen. It's all part
- 6:15of a meditation process, uh, being aware,
- 6:19uh, being in the moment,
- 6:22and just, uh, use everything that you have
- 6:25or that you notice in your meditation.
- 6:33Anyway, let's start with a deep in breath.
- 6:37Fill your lungs with air.
- 6:38Breathe in through your nose
- 6:42and breathe out through your mouth all the way out.
- 6:45Let the day go. Let everything go.
- 6:48Feel yourself getting centered and in place for this session
- 6:53before you take another nice deep inhale through your nose
- 7:00and exhale through your mouth, letting things go,
- 7:05letting the day go,
- 7:07centering even more, relaxing your muscles.
- 7:16And already this breathing out is a cleansing part,
- 7:25breathing normally and calmly
- 7:31before you transition to breathing deeper and slower,
- 7:44deeper and slower breaths just
- 7:46to calm the nervous system down
- 7:49and to tell your body that it is in a safe place.
- 8:13Uh, for those watching live
- 8:15and patron members watching their video recording,
- 8:19maybe you're even watching this, uh, in your 3D glasses
- 8:23or using your 3D glasses.
- 8:27Uh, just look at the landscape,
- 8:33take it in the sounds.
- 8:37Get as much of the experience of being in nature
- 8:40and outside as possible.
- 8:43For those listening in.
- 8:46Feel free to close your
- 8:47eyes and hear the sound.
- 8:51Listen to the sounds.
- 9:03So to reproduce the experience of a fast period, period,
- 9:07or Ramadan issue, Muslim scholar,
- 9:12it, you can, uh,
- 9:17you can exchange your old energy, stagnating energy
- 9:23with new energy that you get from the fresh air
- 9:27outside the sunlight,
- 9:31whatever you want to pull it from.
- 9:33There's energy all around us we can tap into,
- 9:39and we can release old stagnating energy,
- 9:45filled with emotions, because emotions are energy in motion.
- 9:51And we can push that out
- 9:53and breathe that out, that's stagnating energy,
- 9:56and let it be absorbed by the earth.
- 10:01Let it be carried away with the wind.
- 10:04Or maybe you want to, if you are inside, breathe it out
- 10:07to a flame, a candle
- 10:12to let it absorb there.
- 10:17So in a moment, I'm going to ask you to Visualize
- 10:25that beautiful, fresh, healing energy
- 10:30that is all around you.
- 10:36And I want you to visualize that you're breathing it in
- 10:39through your nose and absorb
- 10:43it in your body.
- 10:49And as you breathe out, I want you
- 10:50to visualize breathing out gray mist, which is
- 10:55that stagnating all the energy you no longer need.
- 10:59And just let it dissipate in front of you.
- 11:02Let it disappear or let it be absorbed
- 11:07by the earth, whatever you want
- 11:12to absorb it into.
- 11:20So let's get started. Take a nice deep
- 11:22in inhale through your nose.
- 11:25Visualize that fine white golden energy
- 11:28that you're pulling in right now.
- 11:30Let it go down into your lungs and into your heart,
- 11:33and let your lungs and heart distribute
- 11:37that energy throughout your body,
- 11:40Pushing Any dark, stagnating,
- 11:43no longer needed energy back into your lungs.
- 11:46And as you breathe out, breathe out that energy
- 11:50and let it disappear.
- 11:52Let it dissipate, let it go.
- 11:56And then you take another nice deep inhale
- 11:58through your nose again.
- 12:02Take in more of that beautiful, wonderful healing energy.
- 12:05Give it a nice warm white collar.
- 12:09Breathe in, in, in your lungs
- 12:14and at your lungs and your heart.
- 12:18Transport that energy throughout your body, pushing away
- 12:22any old stagnating energy that gets back into your lungs,
- 12:26and breathe it out through your
- 12:28mouth and it dissipate.
- 12:32Let it go away. Let's
- 12:36do it one more time together.
- 12:40Breathing through your nose, warm white golden lights
- 12:45into your lungs, into your heart, distributed energy,
- 12:49healing energy throughout your body,
- 12:52and breathe out any stagnating old energy through your mouth
- 12:57and let it dissipate.
- 13:03Just continue now in your own tempo, your own pace.
- 13:09Keep visualizing and really drawing that beautiful,
- 13:14wonderful healing energy that the earth provides to us,
- 13:17that the atmosphere provides to us,
- 13:19that the sunlight provides to us.
- 13:24And really visualize that gray mist going out,
- 13:29breathing out, gray mist, old energy.
- 13:31Let it disappear. And with every breath, just feel more
- 13:35and more energetic, more energy, more lightness.
- 13:42Just go ahead on your own the next few minutes.
- 15:53All right, beautiful. Just
- 15:58get back to your breath again.
- 16:00If you had wandered off,
- 16:06take a moment to focus on your heart space
- 16:12and imagining breathing through your heart
- 16:21and visualize and feel that energy you drawn in,
- 16:24that you revitalized
- 16:26and that revitalized that you
- 16:32feel that coursing
- 16:33through your whole system, through your body.
- 16:40And if you aren't smiling right now, just put up a smile.
- 16:43Just adjust your lips, adjust your mouth into a smile.
- 16:49Feel that warmth, that energy causing through your body.
- 16:52Maybe you want to put a hand on your chest
- 16:55right there where your heart is.
- 17:02Feel that
- 17:07lightness.
- 17:10No more dark, stagnating energy that is wearing you down
- 17:13and keep, makes you tired.
- 17:20Replen this with new energy, new ideas, new creativity.
- 17:29You can do this little reset, a little cleansing
- 17:32whenever you want to, whenever you feel the
- 17:34needs, wherever you are.
- 17:44All right. So breathe normally.
- 17:47Again, again, let's get back
- 17:51to the present moment.
- 17:56Become aware of your surroundings.
- 17:58We go with your fingers and toes,
- 17:59and if you had your eyes closed, open your eyes.
- 18:03Welcome back. Welcome back.
- 18:07So welcome back, everyone. How was that?
- 18:09Uh, I got a good new energy again, so that was nice.
- 18:14Uh, I needed it. Uh, you can see I'm smiling more now, uh,
- 18:18and just by guiding you through it, not really being in
- 18:21more meditative state than you are.
- 18:24So yeah, these things really help.
- 18:28Uh, and, uh, I didn't forget to, uh,
- 18:32take the spatial video this time either.
- 18:34So those that are patron members and having 3D glasses
- 18:38or accent glasses, you can download the session.
- 18:41This, the meditation itself in spatial, uh,
- 18:46formats, 3D
- 18:47and you get even more emerged into the scenery.
- 18:51So that's your gift for supporting me, supporting the group,
- 18:57and, uh, benefiting from all the
- 18:59wonderful things that we do.
- 19:01Um, I wanted to talk about some news.
- 19:05Uh, more interviews are coming up, uh, so not only
- 19:09with Aaron, but also other people.
- 19:11So that is nice. And, uh, there's a planning
- 19:15and masterclass as well, which is going
- 19:18to be published on Brains Magazine.
- 19:21And I'm also going to do a podcast for them, uh,
- 19:24in the future as well.
- 19:26So that's basically the news I'm planning on doing, uh,
- 19:29delivering more courses and therapeutic meditations as well.
- 19:33But, uh, yeah, the day is only so many hours
- 19:36and the year is only so many weeks.
- 19:38So, uh, give me some time to do all that.
- 19:43I'm also having clients in between and offline sessions
- 19:47and probably some travel coming up as well.
- 19:49So yeah, busy, busy, uh,
- 19:53and I'm just, uh, making sure I don't do everything at the
- 19:57same time and getting burned out and everything like that.
- 19:59Uh, I mean, that would look really stupid, right?
- 20:02You're teaching people how to self-regulate
- 20:05and stress management, et cetera, and you get stressed
- 20:09and burned out yourself, which is not, not
- 20:11what the thing supposed to be.
- 20:13So, uh, that's also the reason why you find me, uh, almost
- 20:19never on Instagram and Facebook,
- 20:22or at least meta met us, uh, social platforms.
- 20:26If you follow the news, you notice again
- 20:28that they have been dragged into court, mark Zuckerberg,
- 20:32where he has to explain how he makes children
- 20:36or young adults, uh, and adults of course, as well.
- 20:39I'm not sure why they always focus
- 20:41so much on the children when it comes to this,
- 20:43but they, they make people, um,
- 20:49oh, what's the word again?
- 20:51They make people, uh, coming back to Facebook, to WhatsApp,
- 20:55to Instagram over and over again,
- 20:58and they, uh, uh, make people addicted.
- 21:01That's the word I was looking for.
- 21:03They make people addicted, uh, to their platform, which
- 21:06of course is what they want, what they do.
- 21:09And I've been saying this for many, many years,
- 21:13and that's also the reason why I post very little
- 21:17on those platforms.
- 21:19Uh, so, and I don't care if you are still there,
- 21:24if you don't want to start using better alternatives
- 21:28that are not so addictive, uh,
- 21:31and you don't want to follow me there, that's fine.
- 21:34Uh, you can just continue following me on Instagram
- 21:37and Facebook, but you're just
- 21:38missing out on a lot of things.
- 21:39Uh, and not only because I post less, but also
- 21:44because, uh, Facebook
- 21:46and Instagram don't like this kind of content.
- 21:49I mean, uh, to be popular on those platforms, I have to, um,
- 21:54basically run around naked in the snow right now, um, um,
- 22:00act like an idiot and saying provocative things in order
- 22:03for people to, uh, in order for this pla these platforms to
- 22:08promote me, uh, to others.
- 22:10So, I mean, that's not what, what I'm about.
- 22:14Uh, I'm not an attention seeker in this way.
- 22:17I'm just, uh, wanting people to reconnect their heart
- 22:22to their brains and live a whole life as a whole human being
- 22:27and all the benefits, uh, that comes with it,
- 22:31and all the negative side effects of that as well.
- 22:34Like we talked about a little bit, uh,
- 22:37in our previous podcast about the negative effects
- 22:40of meditation and mindfulness.
- 22:43So if you have missed that, uh, session, just, uh,
- 22:46scroll back through the podcast episodes
- 22:49and, uh, through the live sessions that we had,
- 22:52and, uh, find that one back about mindfulness
- 22:55and the negative effects as well.
- 22:57And I just want to be real, uh,
- 22:59and also want to take care of myself.
- 23:01Uh, if I don't take care of myself, uh,
- 23:04and use time for myself, I can't help
- 23:07and be of service to others either so.
- 23:11And, uh, so I hope you understand that.
- 23:14Uh, so, and yeah, take action,
- 23:19be the change you want to be in the world,
- 23:20and if you find meta platforms, uh, addictive,
- 23:25you struggle with them, you don't feel comfortable
- 23:28with them, don't use them.
- 23:31It's just the way it is. And if more people
- 23:36understand that, more people will also stop using those
- 23:39platforms and will find alternatives,
- 23:41and they'll find their tribe, their friends,
- 23:43their family, absolutely.
- 23:45Another platforms as well.
- 23:47I've been for many years on Vero, true social, real people,
- 23:52real engagements, always nice comments.
- 23:55And, uh, yeah, so I can, I can hardly, I can, uh,
- 24:01wholeheartedly, uh, recommend Vero to social.
- 24:04If you are in Norway, there is this new platform called hud,
- 24:09uh, which is, uh, Scandinavia.
- 24:12Now, it's also for the Danish people
- 24:14and for the Swedish people,
- 24:15and they're trying to go more international as well
- 24:19to other countries.
- 24:21But, uh, that's an alternative.
- 24:23Um, it's nice, uh, we are there with the Norwegian part of,
- 24:28uh, the Transformational Meditation Group.
- 24:30Um, but, uh, yeah, to say if you want to compare VR
- 24:34to social is still my place to go.
- 24:37Uh, if you want the Twitter alternative
- 24:40or an X alternative, go Mastodon, which is, uh, distributed,
- 24:45you can, it's like getting your email address.
- 24:47You get your mastodon or fatty verse address,
- 24:51and you can start tweeting, tweeting, as they call it,
- 24:54in Mastodon, which is funny.
- 24:56So yeah, lots of alternatives that are not
- 25:00so algorithm based
- 25:02and, uh, trying to be, trying to get you addictive to them.
- 25:08So, yeah, but again, I've told this so many times right now
- 25:12that uh, I'm getting tired,
- 25:15but, uh, I, I wish I, I, I wish after this video
- 25:20or after this podcast, uh,
- 25:21my follower count on Instagram especially would go to, uh,
- 25:25half of what it is right now.
- 25:26I think it's almost 3000.
- 25:29Uh, I have one and a half thousand on Vero.
- 25:32It would be very nice to see the Vero followers going up
- 25:36to 3000 and my Instagram following, going down
- 25:39to one and a half thousand.
- 25:40So, and I guess of those one
- 25:43and a half thousand, I guess maybe 500 are real people.
- 25:47I'm not sure. The rest maybe are both or whatever it is.
- 25:49So, yeah. Uh, on Instagram anyway, enough talk,
- 25:55uh, and as you notice,
- 25:57I talk a lot right now is because I got more energy.
- 25:59'cause we did that energy session, right?
- 26:02So that's, uh, yeah, the, the effects
- 26:06of drawing energy, you can, like I said,
- 26:08you can do this every time and whenever you want,
- 26:11whenever you feel to, whenever you need to.
- 26:13So anyway, I hope to see you back next time again.
- 26:17Have a wonderful rest of your day.
- 26:18Wonderful rest of your week.
- 26:20Be safe, take care, and namaste.
