The Spirit of Halloween
The Spirit of Halloween closes out Fall into Love and we both gave it 4.75 stars, which almost never happens. Megan hates costumes and loved it anyway. Wendy's fall fatigue is cured. Everly Stone gets three ghosts; we get a real Halloween movie.
We talk Jeff Beesley's gift for ensembles, Nicole Baxter's writing, and Lachlan Quormby stealing the whole movie as a six-foot-four Ghost of Halloween Future. Plus: visible cold breath in a Halloween movie, empty prop coffee cups, the third sexy measuring scene of the year, and whether Everly is actually a Scrooge at all.
