- Jessica Figueroa: Hi, just for today, listeners. Today's lesson is going to we're gonna talk a little bit about money. And what could you do just for today to make a hundred more dollars or two hundred more dollars? Let's make sure this is moral and in line with your values. But what could you do today? Is there something sitting in your garage you could sell or maybe make a donation and get the receipt as a write-off? But if you ever find yourself Desiring to have a little bit more money to stretch towards a vacation or something you've wanted. I want you to think just for today, what could you do to make a hundred or two hundred bucks just for today? Do you have a service you could offer? Do you have a product you could sell? Do you have stuff that's been laying around your house? Most of us laying around our house have hundreds of dollars, if not thousands of dollars that we don't use anymore. Could you sell some books online? Could you Send them to someone else and ask them to sell and split the profit. Who do you know that does these sort of things? And you could give them your product. And if they sell it and keep half, win-win. You get half, they get half. But just for today, we are going to be thinking about ways we can earn extra money. I once knew someone that propagated plants and sold the plants. Maybe you could propagate plants. I am not sure. But just for today, we are going to consider ways to earn an extra one to $200 in our life that would work already in our life. And this exercise gets our wheels spinning about not putting limitations on our earning power because there are so many opportunities. You hear them all out there, but often what we're doing is we're listening to other people's income opportunities. And since they don't fit our life, we're making excuses. We're like, ⁓ I know they make money doing that, but I couldn't sell on Facebook Marketplace because I don't feel safe. But that's where you stop thinking rather than, but what could you do that you feel safe doing? Could you offer online classes, online tutoring? What could you do? So most often we look at other people making some side money or going on a trip and thinking, ⁓ I I just can't do that. And that may be true. You can't do that, but what can you do? So on this podcast, we work on thinking. So today's just for today is thinking about what you could do given the time you're willing to invest, the money you have, the station of life you're at, the neighborhood you live in. The place you're at, what could you do today that works with your current life to earn one to two hundred dollars? This thinking exercise is about you and getting specific to you. And then I would encourage you to write those things down. So just for today, we're gonna think of ways that work with our lives and who we are to earn extra money. And we're gonna write those things down. Doesn't sound intimidating, right? We can do that because all we have to do is do it just for today.
