- 0:57SPEAKER_00: All right, guys, we are on a roll today.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited for this new podcast episode.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: I'm recording a bunch today, and yeah, it's going to be good.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So this is all going to be why weight becomes difficult to lose and what you need to do if you feel stuck.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: And first off, I promise that if you're frustrated and you feel like it's difficult, it doesn't have to be.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: It can be easier.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: And with this podcast episode, my goal is to help you kind of see why maybe you're trying the same thing over and over again and it's not working.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: It's not a willpower issue.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: It's it might be we're going to go into kind of a little bit of nutrition and diet.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: It could be that depending on what you're doing.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: But yeah, we're just going to dive into kind of what it is.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to cover everything.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Literally, if you follow this episode, weight will become a non-issue for you.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So the number one thing, we're going to dive into a little bit of the physical before I get into the emotional, is you want to make sure that you are not under-eating.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: So I see this with so many women when it comes to their weight.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I get DMs of like, I'm eating 1200 calories.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: Why am I not losing weight?
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: I'm about, you know, working up five times a week.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: I'm not losing weight.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: You're not eating enough.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: And so what happens when we do not eat enough is our metabolism goes like this.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: It's like bye-bye.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Because it doesn't believe that it's going to get enough food.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: So when you do the whole like 1200 calories restricting and then like over-exercising, working out, it's like it basically hears, man, Liv's not giving me enough food.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: I better save what I have on now.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And by save what I have on, that means weight, fat.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And I'm not going to burn that for fuel because I don't know when she's going to give me more food.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: And so the dangers of under-eating is that it really like slows your metabolism and teaches your body that it's not safe to use fat for fuel.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: The amount of women who come to me, I think, and I've said this before, I think there's only been one off the top of my head, maybe two that I can think of out of like hundreds and hundreds of women who've actually been eating enough when they came to me.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Um, and we actually didn't have to work on weight with them.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: That was up, but like they were actually eating enough.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: But everyone else is like undereating.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Um, and I think that comes from like the TikTok what I eat in a day.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: I even see like influencers that are like quote unquote popular that are posting like their 1200 calorie, 1300 calorie what I eat in a day.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: And it like it hurts my heart and it hurts my soul because women look up to them and want to be thin like them, not realizing that what they're doing is unhealthy for their hormones and unhealthy for their mental health and whatever.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: That's a separate topic.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: But under eating is slowing your metabolism and then making your body not feel safe to burn fat for fuel.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: So you really want to make sure that you're eating enough, but you're also eating enough of the right things.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: And oftentimes I feel when people are in a restriction, they're trying to like cut on calories and they're eating lots of fake sugars and fake things that are causing inflammation in their body.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: And when there's lots of inflammation in your body, your body's not gonna want to let go of weight.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So sugar-free syrups, um, diet cokes, like all the sugar-free your diet versions of things that are actually just like trying to save on calories or like diet ice cream, all of those things that are filled with fake things that are actually causing your body inflammation because they're damaging to your gut, are gonna make it difficult.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And then you're gonna get frustrated wondering why, you know, you're you're not losing the weight, right?
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: So that's when it comes to, you know, under-eating and inflammation, but it's also really important to look at your gut.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So when your gut is inflamed, when your gut lining is leaky, something called leaky gut is when the tight junctions of your gut become separated and it becomes leaky.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: This is normally due to an increase in zonulin.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Zonulin is the bad guy, it creates those gaps in your gut.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: And this can come from stress, it can come from different overuse of antibiotics, it can come from eating things like gluten, it can come from all of these things.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: When your gut is inflamed, and this goes for the inflammation I was talking about, but also specifically to your gut, it really damages your microbiome and damages something called beta-glucaronidase, which you really need in order to have a healthy metabolism.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: And it makes it so you are gaining weight even while eating the same amount of food.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: So you might either feel like you're not losing weight or you might feel like, Liv, I'm eating the same, like my weight's going up.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: I don't understand it, like I didn't change what I'm eating.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: And it's normally like a gut health, inflammatory andor hormone issue.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: You haven't listened to my podcast on hormones, go back to the previous one and listen to that because that's really going to help you with that.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: But when it comes to weight, you need to look at all these other components.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: It is not as simple as food in and food out.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Calories are information and you could be eating a lot more.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: And the information that those calories hold, and like even though they have more calories, actually tell your body to burn fat.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Because you could have like, you know, a hundred calorie, no, let's say, let's say 500 calories of broccoli or 100 calories of like a sugar-free fratpuccino, and they do different things.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: And you might think that like, oh, 300 calories is gonna make me like gain weight more than like 100, but no, because of like the density of what that food food is information.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: It tells our cells what to do.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: Some burn fat, some store fat.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Sugar stores fat, um, and sugars and like bread, cereals, pastas, all those things, all that stores fat.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Um, and then low sugar things obviously don't, right?
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: So it's important to be aware of like making sure you're knocking off all these physical things that's not keeping kind of like weight difficult to lose, which brings us into kind of like more of the emotional components of this mini so.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: So you need to nourish your feminine, you need to be whole, worthy, and complete and love yourself before you lose the way.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: And I can't tell you, like if you are losing weight from a place of shame, it's either not gonna work or it's gonna work temporarily and you're gonna like put it back on, or it's gonna be this constant roller coaster ride, right?
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Because emotions are energetic.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: And if all the actions you're doing are charged with shame, you know, you're eating going to the gym out of shame for your body, you're eating healthy out of shame for your body, and not because you like love it and want to nourish it, then you're holding on to shame and guilt.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna get into this.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: And the emotions that you hold on to in your body get physically stored as weight.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: So if you have a lack of self-love, a lack of self-worth around yourself and or your body, but it could also be yourself and your career, yourself and your relationship, it's gonna manifest as pounds on your body.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: So that's why it's so important.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So, and we're gonna get into this now.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: In an effort to hide those parts of yourself, you wear them, right?
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: So if you do not release emotion, if you do not release your trauma, you wear it, like literally physically.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: I've had clients lose five, six pounds in one session with me because the trauma drops off over their course of like um whether it's a program or one-on-one, like 10, 20 pounds, like it just falls off all while eating more and being happier.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Like, imagine eating more, feeling happier, more pleasure in your life, and like actually like weighing less, not having to think about it.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: Like, that's that's amazing, right?
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: So I'm so excited that glow level one is now open.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, this is so powerful because I have combined well-nourished and goddess activation into one program.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Not only are all the hours of juicy video content in there, along with the tappings, the reprogramming tracks, the recordings, everything you need, but also all the hours of live healing calls, which means that you have over 12 hours of live trauma healing calls with me, where we release all the emotional stuff that is holding you back, plus there's time for QA, and you get a one-on-one session with me where we build you your own personalized treatment plan based on what's going on for you.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: There's also a Telegram group where you can ask me anything in between sessions that is related to health, wealth, self-love, relationships, body, everything.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: This kind of access to me is going to be a game changer.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: I have never done a group program that has been this powerful and potent before.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: We cover everything from gut health, perfectionism, people pleasing, PMS, fertility, hormones, anxiety, acne, eczema, you name it, it's covered.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: And we go to do the deep emotional work that's causing your physical symptoms, but also the deep emotional work that is causing a lack of self-love.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: And a lack of self-love not only shows up in your health, but also shows up in your lack of boundaries, your people pleasing, your magnetism, and your ability to feel and receive love.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: So if you feel like you tried everything and nothing works, this is a sign that you need to do the deep emotional work.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Plus, I have added a section and a call all on wealth and money so that you can let go of old money beliefs and patterns and code in a new financial blueprint.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Yummy! Okay, so this truly covers it all.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited to see you inside.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: The link is down below and DM me any questions you have about it on Instagram.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: And with that, let's get back into the episode.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Let's get into that because the energy has to go somewhere.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Somewhere, somewhere.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: The ah, the energy of emotion has to go somewhere.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: So that shame, guilt, pain manifests into weight on you.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: That's why when we're like we can feel puffy when we're really upset, like even, and this is also like a good curious indicator of, you know, when you're holding on to trauma, an emotional release can make you like lose weight like this.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: Or if you feel like you're holding on to something, also think about where am I holding on to emotion?
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: You know, if like, oh, I haven't changed my eating habits, you know, I've been working out the same, but I'm feeling like bigger, puffy.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's only a couple pounds, but that's also showing you that there's probably something that you need to let go of, right?
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: So if you feel like you're doing all the right things, listen up because this is definitely going to be for you.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Your subconscious wants to stay hidden, right?
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Because it's deeply afraid of being seen.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: You do not feel worthy, you do not maybe feel loved, depending on what's happened to you in your childhood, in relationships, you know, all the way up into this life has made you want to hide.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: And so your body is smart.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: It will want to hide you.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: And so it's going to hide you by literally making like a bubble wrap around your body between you and the outside world to protect it.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: Because somewhere along along the line, it along the lines, it learned that it was not safe.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: When your body does not feel safe, it will do anything to protect you, including like downraging your hormones, you know, messing up your gut, but also making you hold on to weight as a protective cushion.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: It is your bubble wrap between you and the outside world.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: So really get curious about like, okay, what if what are those parts of me that I actually need to visit and that I actually need to heal in order to feel worthy, whole, and complete and love myself as a human so that that can come off.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: But also, right, if we're under-eating, we're doing all those poor physical habits that I talked about earlier, it's coming from normally a lack of self-love, a lack of self-worth, not in our feminine energy, you know, mom telling us we need to lose weight or someone telling us that we need to, or just not feeling right compared to society.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Like there's so many of these things, right?
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: So notice all like the the weight that you're holding on to and where it could be tied to, especially if, you know, it's like, oh, I've gained weight like in the last two years.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: So, like, what was going on two years ago?
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: What, you know, if it's been lifelong, we're definitely looking at childhood.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: We're mean we're always looking at childhood.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: I always look at childhood with people because people often underestimate, you know, and sometimes it's something you pick up in childhood that you held and held and held and held.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: And then there was like the straw that broke the camel's back, like maybe in high school or mid-20s or like something more recent that then catapulted.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: But it's always important to look at everything.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: So ask yourself and really start to get in touch if like you're struggling with weight or you feel like you're holding on to too much, of where you're actually holding on to the emotion and start with the healing the blockage of that and getting rid of that.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: And if you need help with that, definitely hop into either glow level one or you can do one-on-one if you're craving more of an intimate container with me.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: But both of those containers heal all of this stuff for you so you can release it and kind of not be so frustrated with your symptoms or with your weight or anything like that.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: So I want to kind of dive into where weight can make you, or like the emotional roots of different things of like it being tied to here or there.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: So if we want to think about fat on like your upper, um, like your arms or like this part of your body, you can't see me if you're listening to the podcast, but that's at being denied love.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: So somewhere along the lines, you felt like you were denied love and you need more love.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: But the problem is that you're probably looking for love externally or you're looking for love from someone else, and it never feels enough because you're searching from it outside.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: We need to bring it inside.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: The next one is if you feel like you hold on to weight in your abdomen, this means you're holding on to anger at being denied nourishment.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Now, nourishment doesn't mean like you were denied food, though it can be.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: I've worked with clients whose parents were really controlling when it came to what they ate or, you know, didn't allow them things, but nourishment can also be like, how nourishing is it to get like a really loving hug?
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: How nourishing is it for like someone to tell you how much they love you or how proud that they are of you, you know?
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: So it can be like nourishment can be a whole host of things, but chances are there's something in that for you.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: Your hips, um, which is like your buttocks region, like if you were to measure that kind of measurement, um, is anger at your parents.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: Now, the amount of times I've had clients tell me, I'm not angry at my parents, my parents were great, blah, blah, blah.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Yes, I'm sure they were great in some ways, but they're also human.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: And that doesn't mean that something that happened when you were younger, you didn't get angry at them at or for that you are still harboring onto because of the perspective you had when you were little, and perhaps you didn't understand.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: You know, this can be something like um, I'll use a client example again.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: She understood why like her dad was never home because he traveled so much for work, and like she logically knows that he was traveling so much for work in order to provide for the family, et cetera.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: But she was angry that like he wasn't at her soccer games, that he wasn't there as much.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Like there is that anger there.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: And so sometimes we get trapped in like overcompensating or over-explaining like why things happened the way they did.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: And like it's great to see that like lining or see that like actual reason why.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: But that doesn't mean that that younger part of you didn't perceive it a different way and isn't still holding on to that in your body.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: And that's the key.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: That younger version of you is still holding on to the perspective they had when they were little, and that is causing them then to hold on to that emotion, that anger, which is causing the weight to manifest.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's a little chicken nugget.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna like star this to take it out of the podcast.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: That's a little chicken nugget, okay?
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: All right, and then I'm gonna do one other one, which is like your thighs to think about like below your hips.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: And this is specifically directed at like your dad, your father figure, or the lack thereof.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: So if you feel like you hold on to weight specifically in your thighs, you really want to kind of look at your relationship with your dad, start doing some inner child work with that.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Inner child work is what we start with, kind of in glow level one, because it is so important.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and start kind of unpacking that relationship and doing the work around that.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: And one thing I will say is that it can be easy to read books about inner child healing.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: You can journal.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: I am going to be honest, the thing that really moves emotion is like you actually have to somatically release it.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: And so that's why people get trapped of like they're doing their gratitude journal, they're doing their affirmations, and nothing's changing.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: And the reasons nothing's changing is if you actually haven't somatically released the trauma from your body in order to allow that to stick.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: So you're trying to stick something that can't stick because of all the gunk that is in your vessel.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: So if this episode resonated with you, if you're like, oh my god, Liv, this is me.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: I need your help, hop into glow one or message me if you'd like to become a one-on-one client.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: We can discuss more about that.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: Um, but either way, if you followed this episode between what I said about the under-eating, the physical stuff, the feminine, and then all of this emotional, weight doesn't have to become an issue.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I've heard some people say, like genetics, this and that.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: And genetics is normally you holding on to trauma.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Genetics is like your hormonal, not hormonal, um, your generational trauma that you're holding on to, which we can also release, right?
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: But it all starts with you.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: So just let that be known.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: Um, with that being said, I hope you guys enjoyed this episode, and I will see you in the next one.
